CAMILLO J. CALISSI, 87, of Hasbrouck Heights, formerly of Fort Lee, died Tuesday. Before retiring, he was an art and sculpture teacher for the Art Students League, New York City. ERIK J. FRIIS, 86, of Montvale died Monday. Born in Norway, he came to the United States in 1929. Before retiring in 1978, he was an editor for the American Scandinavian Foundation, New York City, where he worked for 25 years. Subsequently, he was an editor for the Library of Nordic Literature book series and for the Norwegian Trade Bulletin. He had also worked as an author, proofreader, and translator. He was president of the Scandinavian-American Business Association, the Norway Ski Club, and the Gjoa Sporting Club. He was vice president of the Scandinavian-American Society and the Norwegian Club and was a member of the Fellow Explorers Club. Arrangements: Becker Funeral Home, Westwood.

FLORENCE DI LEO HEMPEL, 72, of Little Falls died Tuesday. Before retiring last year, she was a bilingual teacher in the Clifton school system. She owned the Great Notch Inn, West Paterson. She was a parishioner of Holy Angels R.C. Church, Little Falls. She was a member of Healing the Children, Butler, and the Great Notch Association, Little Falls.
