Lillian (Tranfaglia) Garofoli, 94, of Washington Street, died yesterday at the Courville Nursing Home in Manchester. 
She was born in Beverly, Mass., the daughter of the Marciano and Catherina (Tranfaglia) Garofoli. 
She was a lifelong resident of Concord, and a member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas Margaret K. Desmond chapter of Concord. She was an active lifelong parishoner of St. Peters Church.
She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Garofoli, who died in 1959.
She is survived by two sons, Joseph Garofoli of Hillsboro and Robert Garofoli of Camden, Maine; two daughters, Virginia Salotti of Agawam, Mass., and Sandra Garofoli Hutcheson of Boston; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be Wednesday, prior to the funeral, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. in the Waters Funeral Home, 50 S. Main St.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. in St. Peters Church. The Rev. Mitchell Wanat, pastor, will officiate. 
Burial will follow in the Calvary Cemetery in Concord.

Donald T. Bonnette, HILLSBORO 
Monday, November 23, 1998
HILLSBORO - Donald T. Bonnette, 85, died yesterday at Concord Hospital. 
The son of Samuel and May (Kimball) Bonnette, he was a lifelong resident of Hillsboro.
He was a graduate of Hillsboro schools and of the New England Institute of Arts and Science in Boston, Class of 1934.
He was postmaster of the Hillsboro Post Office for 27 years before his retirement in 1975. He was a member of the National Association of Postmasters, the National Association of Retired Federal Employees, a charter member of the North American Fishing Club, the Piscatorial Research Project, the AARP, the American Firearm's Association, the American Legion Post No. 59, and a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII. He also was active in community affairs, serving as a member and former chairman of the conservation commission, a representative on the regional planning commission and a member of the Hillsboro waste water and hydro study committees. 
He was predeceased by his wife, Miriam Bonnette.
He is survived by a son, Bruce Bonnette of Manchester; a daughter, Sandra Strickland of Englewood, Fla.; a sister, Margaret Morrison of Winchester; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the Woodbury & Son Funeral Home, 32 School St., Hillsboro. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in St. Mary's Catholic Church in Hillsboro. The Rev. John Wright, pastor, will officiate. 
Burial will follow in Maple Ave. Cemetery in Hillsboro.

Gail C. Bartlett, LACONIA

LACONIA - Gail C. Bartlett, 52, of Gilford Avenue, died at her home on Saturday.
She was born in Laconia, the daughter of Nelson and Bernice (Dow) Cassavugh Sr. She had been a lifelong resident of Laconia.
She graduated from Laconia High School in 1964. She was a communicant of the Belmont Baptist Church. 
She was a volunteer at the Woodland Heights Elementary School and was active in Cub Scouts for many years.
She was predeceased by a broter, Eugene Cassavaugh.
She is survived by her husband, Wayne Bartlett of Laconia; two sons, Brett Bartlett of Exeter and Alan Bartlett of Laconia; six brothers, Nelson Cassavaugh Jr. and Raymond Cassavaugh, both of Laconia, Kirkman Cassavaugh of Belmont, Clifford Cassavaugh of Concord, Wayne "Joe" Cassavaugh of Sanbornton and Terry Cassavaugh of Epsom; five sisters, Priscilla Day, Sandra Bolduc and Sheila Haven, all of Laconia, Marsha Byars and Pamela Beaudoin, both of Belmont; one granddaughter; and many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant St., Laconia, using the Carriage House entrance.
Services will be held at the Belmont Baptist Church tomorrow at 11:00 a.m. The Rev. Dr. Paul Klose, interim pastor of the Belmont Baptist Church, Belmont, will officiate. Burial will follow in the Union Cemetery in Laconia.

Albert J. Sambold, HAMPTON 
Monday, November 23, 1998
HAMPTON - Albert J. Sambold, 64, of 35 Milburn Ave., died Friday at the Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston.
He was born in McKees Rocks, Pa., the son of the late Albert and Margaret (Krauth) Sambold. He had been a Hampton resident of the past 32 years. He had previously resided in Pennsylvania, Kansas and Nebraska.
He was a U.S. Air Force veteran, having served three tours of duty in Vietnam as a navigator. He retired in 1974. 
He held the rank of colonel in the Civic Air Patrol (CAP) and was in command of the New Hampshire Wing of the CAP's Northeast Reigion. He taught Aerospace Education for the Seacoast Composite of the CAP.
He also owned and operated Fitts Photo. He was the scout master of the former Troop 178, BSA of Hampton, founder and past president of the R/C Aces in North Hampton, past president of the Pease Chapter of the Retired Air Force Association, and a member of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association, the Cessna Pilots Association and the Experimental Aircraft Association.
He was a communicant of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church in Hampton, and was a recipient of the Points of Light Award for volunteerism.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Margie (Enghardt) Sambold of Hampton; one son, A. James Sambold Jr. of Hampton; two daughters, Sylvia Genthner of Hampton Falls and Angela Sambold of Concord; and two grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church in Hampton tomorrow at 10 a.m. Calling hours will be held today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Remick & Gendron Funeral Home, 811 Lafayette Road, Hampton. Burial will be at the New Hampshire Veteran's Cemetary, Boscawen.

LOCHMERE - Susan J. Norton, 66, of Silver Lake Road, died yesterday at home.
She was born in Concord, the daughter of John and Susan (Mahoney) Kemp.
She was a lifelong New Hampshire resident and a self-employed artist.
She is survived by her husband, John Norton of Lochmere; six sons, Robert Jones of Florida, Gary Jones of Dallas, Timothy Jones of Kailuha, Hawaii, Jeffrey Jones of Dover, Daniel Norton of Fort Bragg, N.C., and John Norton of Brownsummit, N.C.; nine grandchildren; and several cousins.
A calling hour will be held tomorrow from 1 to 2 p.m. in the Bennett Funeral Home Chapel, 3 Church St., Concord.
Funeral services will be held after the calling hour tomorrow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. The Rev. David Jones, rector of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Soucook Cemetery.

Joseph B. Hodges, NEW LONDON

NEW LONDON - Jospeh B. Hodges, 54, of Old Coach Road, died Sunday at home after a long illness.
He was born in Concord, the son of John and Helen (Messer) Hodges.
He was a 1962 graduate of New London High School.
He was a master craftsman, who worked with various local contractors. From 1963-1970, he was employed by Sargent and Hunter in New London, and from 1970-1972, he was employed by Lull and Prescott in Elkins. He was a partner in Kezar Lake Constuction, Sutton, from 1972-1978, and from 1978-1980, he worked for DeCato Brothers, Inc., West Lebanon. From 1980-1984, he was employed by Sturm Ruger Company, Newport, from 1984-1986, he worked for R.P. Johnson and Sons, Potter Place, from 1986-1992, he owned and operated his own business, Ridgewood Construction Company, and from 1994-1996, he was employed by C.B. Granger, New London.
He was a member of the Kearsarge Lodge No. 81 F&AM, Andover, for more than 20 years.
He was an outdoorsman and a sportsman. He enjoyed bowling, basketball and golf; he played for the state championship team in high school.
In addition to his mother of New London, he is survived by his wife of 33 years, Linda (Ford) Hodges of New London; three children; Jennifer Salvon, Joanne Ambrose and Jill Hodges; three grandchildren; a brother, James Hodges of Columbia, S.C.; a sister, Janet Keyser of New London; an aunt, an uncle, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. There are no calling hours.
A memorial service will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in the First Free Baptist Church, Wilmot Flat. The Rev. Allen Koop, pastor, will officiate. There will be a gathering at La Meridiana, Route 11, Wilmot Flat, after the service.

DUNABRTON - Alfred H. Green, 62, died Friday at Concord Hospital.
He was born in Manchester, the son of Alfred and Mildred (Cleveland) Green. He had lived in Dunbarton for 15 years, coming from the Penacook-Concord area.
He served with the U.S. Army from 1958-1961 in Germany.
He worked in sales at Sears-Roebuck & Co. in Concord for many years.
He was a former police officer, serving with the Concord Police Department for 1961-1967.
He graduated from Penacook High School, Class of 1955, and was an active member of the Amoskeag Presbyterian Church, where he served on the building committee.
He was a sports enthusiast, an avid hunter and fisherman and a life member of the National Rifle Association.
He was predeceased by a brother, Burton Green.
In addition to his mother of Suncook, he is survived by a daughter, Kimberly Blanchette of Quebec, Tenn.; a granddaughter; three brothers, Leonard Green of Pompano Beach, Fla., Kenneth Green of Salem, Mass., and Arnold Green of Hooksett; two sisters, Thelma Holden of Orange, Mass., and Marjorie Vorce of Tilton; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling hours will be held tomorrow from noon to 1:30 p.m. in the Wendell J. Butt Funeral Home, 42 Washington St., Penacook.
Funeral services will be held after the calling hours tomorrow at 1:30 p.m. in the funeral home. Pastor Gregory Reynolds, of the Amoskeag Presbyterian Church, Manchester, will officiate. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Penacook.

Winifred M. Stollatis

Wilifred M. Stollatis, 84, of Fairfield Drive, died yesterday at Heartland Place, Epsom.
She was born in Laconia, the daughter of Franklin and Ellen (Turner) Morrill.
She worked as a trust officer for Concord National Bank for 23 years, retiring in 1976.
She was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, where she was active with many committees. She was also a member of the National Association of Bank Women.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Harold Waterman.
She is survived by her second husband, Edwin Stollatis; two sons, Anthony Waterman and Gerald Waterman of Concord; a daughter, Donna Waterman of Hooksett; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
There are no calling hours.
A private service will be held at St. Paul's Episcopal Church. The Rev. David Jones, rector, will officiate.

Lawrence W. McKenna Sr., BREWSTER, Mass.

BREWSTER, Mass. - Lawrence W. McKenna Sr., 90, relative of area residents, died unexpectedly Monday at home. He had been a resident of Brewster for 19 years, and had previously lived in Springfield, Mass.
He was born in New Bedford, Mass., and graduated from Holy Family High School there in 1927. He was a star second baseman for Star Holy Family High School and later played semi-pro baseball.
He worked for General Baking Company in New Bedford, Mass., for more than 30 years. He held various positions with the company in New Bedford, Mass., and later in Springfield, Mass. He retired from the Springfield Office Supply Company in 1976.
He was an avid tennis player, bowler, bridge player and gardener.
He was predeceased by his wife of 57 years, Mary (Murphy) McKenna; and a child, Andrea Harris.
He is survived by four children, Lawrence McKenna Jr. of Norwell, Mass., Susan O'Donnell of Hopkinton, Mary Jane Cratty of Yardley, Pa., and Thomas McKenna of Stanford, Conn.; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and three siblings, Hugh McKenna, Gertrude Maxim and Dolly Fraga, all of New Bedford, Mass.

Margaret Maganzini, LACONIA

LACONIA - Margaret R. Maganzini, 88, of Court Street, died Monday in St. Francis Home.
She was born in Austria, the daughter of Anthony and Adele (Cereghini) Maffei. She lived in New York for many years, moving to Locke Lake, Center Barnstead, in 1972. She became a resident of Bishop Bradley Apartments, Laconia, in 1990.
During World War II, she was an Italian interpreter and worked as a teller for Anchor Savings Bank, New York.
Before retiring, she worked as a nursing home ombudsman in New Hampshire. She also volunteered at the Laconia State School Training Center with autistic children.
She was a member of the quilters club.
She was a communicant of St. Joseph Church, Laconia.
She was predeceased by her husband, Anthony Maganzini.
She is survived by two sons, Herman Maganzini of Rockville, Md., and Anthony Maganzini of Wyckoff, N.J.; a daughter, Adele Teutonico of Ridge, N.Y.; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated today at 11 a.m. in St. Joseph Church, 30 Church St., Laconia. The Rev. Gary Kosmowski, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Smith Meetinghouse Cemetery, Gilmanton, where the Rev. Gary Kosmowski will bless the grave and offer the final Rite of Commendation.

Sara W. Moses, PLYMOUTH

PLYMOUTH - Sara W. "Sukey" Moses, 86, formerly of Cummings Street, died Sunday at the Odd Fellows Home in Concord.
She was born in Haverhill, the daughter of Tilden and Mary (Page) Wright. She spent her childhood in Pike and was a 1930 graduate of Haverhill Academy. She earned a business degree from Concord Business School in 1932.
She was the owner and operator of Moses Insurance Agency, Main Street, Plymouth, for many years. She also did clerical work for Guinan's Dugout and Speare Memorial Hospital, and worked as the secretary of Plymouth Congregational Church for eight years.
After selling her insurance agency, she worked for Noyes Insurance Agency, Plymouth.
She was a member of the Plymouth Congregational Church and the Haverhill Historical Society, and a former member of the Plymouth Historical Society and the Squam Lakes Association. She volunteered for the Speare Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, working on the annual hospital fair, for many years.
She enjoyed quilting and golf.
She is survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling hours will be held Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Mayhew Funeral Home, 12 Langdon St., Plymouth.
A funeral service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Plymouth congregational Church. The Rev. Judith Gooch, pastor, and the Rev. Philip Hart will officiate. A graveside service will be held Saturday at 2:30 p.m. in Ladd Cemetery, Haverhill.

GILFORD - Rita P. Watson, 76, of 60 Watson Road, Gilford, died at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon on Nov. 21. 
She was born May 9, 1922, in Laconia, the daughter of Ralph and M. Laura (St. Cyr) Fifield. 
She had been a lifelong resident of the Lakes Region.
She was the bookkeeper for her husband's electrical business for many years. She was a member of the Gilford Community Church.
Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Robert Watson of Gilford; a son, Bradley Watson of Hopkinton; three grandchildren; three sisters, Arline Lamere of Somerfield, Fla., Dorothy Cotnoir of Laconia and Eleanor Cupit of Plano, Texas; and several nephews and nieces.
There are no calling hours.
A memorial service will be held at the Gilford Community Church tomorrow at 11 a.m. The Rev. Dr. James Bolin, minister of the church, will officiate. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery in Gilford.

Rudolph E. Cate
LACONIA - Rudolph E. "Rudy" Cate, 75, of 265 North St., Lakeport, died at the Lakes Region General Hospital, Nov. 24.
Born in Laconia, July 12, 1923, he was the son of Eben and Vernie (White) Cate. He had lived in Laconia all his life.
He had been employed by the New England Telephone Company for 37 years as a tester, retiring in 1981. 
He was a member of the Telephone Pioneers. 
He was a member of the Laconia Congregational Church and was also a member of the Mt. Lebanon Lodge, No. 32, F. & A.M.
Family members include his wife, Barbara (Newell) Cate of Laconia; two sons, Brendon Cate of Plymouth and Charles Cate of Lakeport; three daughters, Linda Ann Stitt of Lakeport, Colleen Brooks of Belmont and Pamela Watson of Boscawen; three step-sons, Robert Reinholz of Wales, Mass., Rodric Reinholz of Ashland and Randall Reinholz of New Jersey; two step-daughters, Roya Snow of Gilmanton and Rhonda Moran of Milford, Mass.; seven granddaughters; one great-granddaughter; one sister, Virginia Gove of Concord; one nephew; one niece; and many cousins.

Mary Allen
HOOKSETT - Mary (Foss) Allen, age 84, of Hooksett, died Nov. 25. She was born in Manchester on April 14, 1914, the daughter of the late Lewis and Elizabeth (MacDonald) Foss. 
She was a resident of Hooksett since 1961, after living in Germany. She graduated from Manchester Central High School and then attended the Elliot School of Nursing, where she graduated in 1936. She was a nurse at Elliot Hospital and also worked as a private duty nurse. Most recently she was employed as a registered nurse at Demers Nursing Home. She retired in 1976.
She was a communicant of St. Catherine Church in Manchester. She was a member of the Hooksett Women's Club and the Elliot Hospital School of Nursing Alumni Association. She was also a charter member of the Hooksetties.
Members of her family include two sons, William Allen of Manchester and Ronald Allen of Wells, Maine; two grandsons; two granddaughters; two brothers, Laurence Foss and Paul Maynard Foss, both of Manchester; and nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Lt. Col. William Allen, who died in 1968; two brothers, Donald Foss and Edgar Foss; and a sister, Muriel Wilson.
Calling hours will be Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Goodwin Funeral Home, 607 Chestnut St., Manchester. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Catherine Church, 267 Webster St., Manchester. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery in Bedford.

Madeline P. Fuller
CONTOOCOOK - Madeline P. (Colby) Fuller, 82, formerly of Main Street, Contoocook, died Nov. 25 at the Maple Lane Nursing Home in Barton, Vt. She was born in Warner and lived in Contoocook until she retired to Edgewater, Fla. She lived in Barton, Vt., for the past two years.
She was the daughter of the late Addison and Elsie (Morton) Colby. She was predeceased by a daughter, Nancy Perry, who died in Nov. 1995, and by her husband, Robert Fuller, who died in Dec. 1992.
She was a member of the Countryside Community Church.
She is survived by two sons, George Irving Fuller, of Vermont, and Robert Byron Fuller, of Bridgeport, Conn.; two sisters, Jeannette Smith of Manchester and Brattleboro, Vt., Elaine Emerton of Goffstown; one brother, George Colby of Merriata, Calif.; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

MANCHESTER - Cathleen G. Welch, 96, of Myrtle Street, died Tuesday at Mt. Carmel Nursing Home, Manchester.
She was born in Concord, the daughter of John and Frances (Sweeney) Crowley. 
She was a lifelong Concord resident, a 1921 graduate of Concord High School and a graduate of Concord Business College.
She was a member of St. Peter's Church, Concord.
She was predeceased by her husband, Norris Welch.
She is survived by two daughters, Frances Barker of Swampscott, Mass., and Sylvia Gendrop of Boston, Mass.; three grandchildren, William Gendrop, Deborah Lee and Kathleen Gendrop; and two great-grandchildren.
A calling hour will be held today from 11:30 to 12:30 p.m. at the Bennett Funeral Home, 209 North Main St., Concord.

WINTER PARK, Fla. - Camille J. (Evans) Ashland, 64, a former area resident, died Tuesday.
She was born in Lebanon, and moved to Florida from Loudon in 1969.
She was a retired Sears employee, and a member of St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church.
She volunteered for the Republican Party and the Senior Friends.
She is survived by her mother, Laura Evans of Lebanon; her husband, Richard Ashland of Winter Park, Fla.; two daughters, Lynne Rudzik of Orlando, Fla., and Lisa Haber of Winter Park, Fla.; five grandchildren; and a sister, Barbara Kleinfelt of Seoul, Korea.

Viola Suojanen, 87, of North State Street, died Monday at Merrimack County Nursing Home, where she had lived for the past three years.
She was a first-generation American, born to Finnish parents, Frank and Mary (Karpo) Suojanen. Her father was part of the original crew of quarriers to cut granite in the Concord area.
She was a lifelong Concord resident, who worked as a professional seamstress and housekeeper.
Her private time was devoted to many handicrafts, including rug making, quilting, knitting, crocheting and embroidery.
She is survived by a nephew, Miles Suojanen of Florida and Concord; a niece, Sylvia Bailey of Bristol; and many great-nieces and great-nephews, including local residents Eric Suojanen of Concord, Joanne Bailey of Concord and Holly Suojanen of Hopkinton.
A service will be held tomorrow at 10 a.m. in Maple Grove Cemetery.

Malcolm L. Eddy, CANTERBURY

CANTERBURY - Malcolm "Mac" L. Eddy, 74, died Thanksgiving evening, at Concord Hospital.
He was born in Burlington, Vt., the son of George and Carolyn (Merrill) Eddy. He grew up in Burlington, and attended the University of Vermont before and after serving in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
After the war, he and his family lived in Beverly, Mass., and Attleboro, Mass., before he retired to Canterbury.
He had a long and successful mechanical engineering career, working at Sylvania, Baird Atomic and Raytheon for many years.
He enjoyed camping, travel, music and reading.
In addition to his mother, Carolyn Drew of Burlington, Vt., he is survived by his wife of 53 years, Emily "Molly" (Glover) Eddy; two sons, Douglas Eddy of Windham and Robert Eddy of Randolph, Vt.; two daughters, Jane Lillie of Lee's Summit, Mo., and Sarah Ward of San Diego; eight grandchildren; a brother, John Eddy of Manchester, Conn., and numerous nieces and nephews.
There are no calling hours.
A memorial service will be held tomorrow at 1:30 a.m. in the Canterbury United Community Church. The Rev. William Daniels, pastor, will officiate.

Elizabeth D. Voorhees, 90, of Pleasant Street, died Thursday at Pleasant View Center Genesis Eldercare.
She was born in Venitor, N.J., the daughter of William and Catherine (Sheltis) Dunn.
She lived in Manasquan, N.J., for many years, and was a member of St. Uriel's Episcopal Church, where she served on various committees. She had been a Concord resident for the past four years, and attended St. Paul's Church.
She was predeceased by her husband, Clifford Voorhees.
She is survived by a daughter, Virginia Wallace of Strafford; a son, John Voorhees of Lambertville, N.J., and two grandchildren.
There are no calling hours.
Private memorial services will be held at St. Paul's Church. The Rev. David Jones, rector, will officiate. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Brielle, N.J., at a later date.

NORTHFIELD - O. June Rand, 90, formerly of Bean Hill Road, died yesterday at the Genesis Elder Care, Laconia.
She was born in Belmont, the daughter of Samuel and Ida (Aikens) Demeritt. She lived in Laconia for a while, but had been a Tilton-Northfield resident for the past 58 years.
She graduated from Plymouth Normal School with a bachelor's degree in education.
She taught in area one room school houses for several years, witnessing their disappearance over time. She left teaching to care for her children, and later returned for eight years.
She then attended business school in Manchester, and was employed by Ben Franklin and J.J. Newberry stores.
She enjoyed sewing and knitting and reading and writing poetry.
She was a longtime, active, member of the Tilton-Northfield United Methodist Church, and a member of the Women's Society within the church. She was also a former superintendent of the church school.
She was a 75 year member, and past member, of the Friendship Grange No. 110, and was active with county, state, national and Belknap County Granges. She was a former junior Grange matron, and a 4-H leader for many years.
In 1986, she and her husband were presented with the Citizens of the Year Award at the Northfield Old Home Day.
She was predeceased by her husband of 54 years, Edwin Rand.
She is survived by a son, William Rand of Northfield; two daughters, Helen Parent of Laconia and Nancy of Belmont; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a sister, Caroline Hayford of Lynn, Mass.
Calling hours will be held tomorrow from 2 to 4 p.m. in the William F. Smart Sr. Memorial Home, Franklin-Tilton Road, Tilton.
A funeral service will be held Monday at 11 a.m. in the Tilton-Northfield United Methodist Church, Tilton. The Rev. R. Lee Smith will officiate. Burial will take place after the service in Park Cemetery, Tilton.

PLYMOUTH - Grace Blaisdell, 90, of Beech Hill Road, died Thursday at Lakes Region General Hospital after a long illness.
She was born in McIndoe Falls, Vt., the daughter of George and Louisa (James) Kidney. She was a homemaker, who lived in the Plymouth area for most of her life.
She was predeceased by her husband, Daniel Blaisdell.
She is survived by a son, Arlo Blaisdell of Plymouth; three daughters, Leah Tuttle of Gilford, Doris O'Brien of Laconia and Starr Blaisdell of Laconia; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Calling hours will be held tomorrow from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Dupuis Funeral Home, Ashland.
Services will be held from the funeral home, Monday at 1 p.m. The Rev. Everett Palmer will officiate. Burial will take place after the services in Blair Cemetery, Campton.

George H. Browne, WEST PARIS, Maine

WEST PARIS, Maine - George H. Browne, 62, died yesterday at home. He was recently diagnosed with cancer.
He was born in Winchester, Mass., the son of the late William and Helen (Denehy) Browne. He had lived in West Paris, Maine, for the past 13 years.
He graduated from Wakefield High School and attended Northeastern University, Boston. 
He worked as a heavy machinery salesman for the Do-All Company, Needham, Mass., for several years. He later purchased a small family run convenience store, Village Mart, in Bradford. He and his wife ran the store from 1978 until 1985, when they retired to Maine.
He was a hockey player for Wakefield High School and Northeastern. While living in Tewksbury, Mass., he was the head hockey coach for the Pee Wee and Bantam teams. He also enjoyed fishing and was a member of the Wakefield, Mass., Masonic Lodge.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Andrea (Hallstrom) Browne, of West Paris, Maine; two sons, William Browne of Thornton and Jonathan Browne of Oxford, Maine; two daughters, Carolyn Rowell of West Paris, Maine and Kristina McIlhinney of Casco, Maine; two grandchildren; and a brother, John Browne of Chester.
Services were already held.

Paul G. Beaudet, ALLENSTOWN

ALLENSTOWN - Paul G. Beaudet, 75, of Granite Street, died Wednesday at the Elliot Hospital, Manchester, after a short illness.
He was born in Manchester, the son of Willie and Eveline (Beaulieu) Beaudet. He lived in both Manchester and Pembroke before moving to Allenstown, where he had lived for the past 40 years.
Before retiring in 1985, he had been a plumber for the state of New Hampshire Department of Resources and Economic Development. He had been a member of the design, development and maintenance crew working out of Bear Brook State Park for the past 20 years.
He also had been self-employed, operating Beaudet Plumbing, and had worked for H.J. Touhey and Lavallee Oil Company.
After retiring, he was a school crossing guard for Allenstown at Granite and Main streets.
He was an Army veteran of World War II, during which he was part of the Normandy invasion, served through Northern France and the Rhineland and was captured at the Battle of the Bulge. He was a German prisoner of war from 1944 to 1945. He served in the National Guard for several years after the war.
He was a life member of the John J. Maguire American Legion Post No. 28 and the VFW Post No. 2860 both in Suncook. He was also a member of the Fr. Routhier Council, Knights of Columbus No. 4666.
He was predeceased by his first wife, Estelle (Allaire) Beaudet; and a son, Donald Beaudet.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Annette (Campbell) Beaudet of Allenstown; a son, Richard Beaudet of Pembroke; a daughter, Judy Beaudet of Allenstown; five grandchildren; one great-grandson; two sisters, Florence Lemarier of Goffstown and Yvette Gagnon of Merrimack; and several nieces and nephews.
There are no calling hours.
A memorial Mass will be celebrated Dec. 5 at 10 a.m. in St. John the Baptist Church. The Rev. Peter Dumont will be the celebrant. Burial will take place after the service in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Allenstown.

Donn Tibbetts

Donn Tibbetts, 67, of Manchester, died Friday after suffering a massive coronary.
Son of Joseph and Yvonne Tardiff Tibbetts, he was born in Manchester.
After attending St. Joseph High School in Manchester, he graduated from the LaSalle Military Academy in Oakdale, N.Y., in 1948. Tibbetts attended the University of New Hampshire, where he was freshman class president. He left college to become a radio broadcaster and in 1953 was the national president of the American Society of Disc Jockeys. The next year he became New England's pioneer television disc jockey on Channel 9 in Manchester.
Tibbetts's first professional radio broadcast was in February 1949 on WKBR, Manchester. He was subsequently heard on WTSV, Claremont and Hanover; WHDH, Boston; WKXL, Concord; and WFEA, Manchester. 
Tibbetts joined WMUR radio and television in Manchester in 1954. WMUR radio was sold and became WGIR, where Tibbetts eventually served as news director and assistant general manager.
In 1972, Tibbetts joined the Union Leader. He was the State House bureau chief from 1974 until his retirement this year. 
As dean of the State House press corps Tibbetts covered presidential primaries, state elections, the administrations of eight governors, sessions of the nation's largest state Legislature and state government.
In addition to daily news stories, Tibbetts wrote the "Under the State House Dome" column. From 1976 through 1992, he covered the Republican and Democratic National Conventions. The Union Leader's late publisher, William Loeb, nationally known for his frank assessments, called Tibbetts "a man of great integrity, who reports things as he sees them, without fear or bias." 
After retiring from the Union Leader this year, Tibbetts joined the law firm of Rath, Young & Pignatelli, serving as their part-time government relations adviser. In addition, he was the editor of "Update 2000," the official library newsletter of New Hampshire's first-in-the-nation presidential primary, published by the state library.
Tibbetts was also a contributing writer for the annual Collier's Yearbook supplement to the Merit Students Encyclopedia. In 1991, he was a White House nominee to be an Institute of Politics Fellow at Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government. Tibbetts was one of 4,000 nominees chosen for inclusion in the New Hampshire Notables publication. 
He was voted a record nine times by his peers as New Hampshire Sportscaster, and was chosen as the first sportscaster ever to receive the New Hampshire Sportswriter and Sportscasters Distinguished Service Award. Tibbetts served as the national vice president and a member of the board of directors of the National Association of Sportswriters and Sportscasters and was a charter member of that group.
After 28 years of voluntary service with the U.S. Army Reserve and the New Hampshire Air National Guard, Tibbetts retired as a lieutenant colonel.
Tibbetts was awarded the International Toastmasters Eastern Regional Golden Gavel Award for public service. He served on the historic Pastoral Commission appointed by then Bishop Ernest Primeau. Tibbetts was a member and state chair of the federal Small Business Advisory Council for New Hampshire. 
He was a member of the board of directors of the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce and the New Hampshire Lung Association. He was also a past state chairman of the Christmas Seals campaign. He was a life member of the Elliot Hospital Associates and a parishioner of the St. Joseph Cathedral.
Tibbetts is survived by his wife, Jane (Savage) Tibbetts; two sons, Donald Tibbetts and Gary Tibbetts, both of Manchester; two daughters, Amy Wilkinson of Corpus Christi, Texas, and Cindy McNally of Derry; seven grandchildren; twin great-granddaughters; a sister, Joanne Clement of Manchester; and a brother, Joseph Tibbetts.
Calling hours will be held at the Goodwin Funeral Home, 607 Chestnut St., corner of Harrison Street, tomorrow from 2 to 9 p.m. 
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Tuesday morning at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Cathedral, corner of Pine and Lowell Streets.

Edmond L. Chauvette, 82, of Manchester, died yesterday in the Ridgewood Center in Bedford, after a long illness.
Son of Doril and Roseanna (Gagnon) Chauvette, he lived in Manchester all of his life.
For 37 years he was employed by the J.F. McElwain Shoe Co. Chauvette was involved in many senior citizen activities in Manchester, and was a communicant of St. George Church.
Chauvette was predeceased by his wife, Lorette (Parent) Chauvette, who died June 19; and six brothers and sisters.
He is survived by three daughters, Pauline Therrien of Manchester, Lorraine Hicks of Manchester and Louise Cloutier of Allenstown; four sons, Robert Chauvette, Richard Chauvette, Donald Chauvette and Raymond Chauvette, all of Manchester; 18 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; five sisters, Adrienne Gamache of Manchester, Doris Gendron of Auburn, Theresa Pellerin of Manchester, Priscilla Robidoux of Manchester and Florida and Claire Couture of Manchester; two brothers, Maurice Chauvette of Manchester and Florida and Rene Chauvette of Florida; and many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be tomorrow from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m., in the Lambert Funeral Home, 1799 Elm St., corner of North Street. June H. Dearborn

June H. (Hines) Dearborn, 87, died Friday at Franklin Regional Hospital in Franklin.
The daughter of the late Charles and Clara (Sanders) Hines, she was born in Grafton and moved to Alexandria in 1927. She attended Grafton, Canaan and Franklin schools. 
Dearborn was predeceased by her first husband, Karl Dearborn. They lived in Tilton and Bristol. Dearborn was a homemaker and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. From 1987 to 1997, she lived at the Peabody Home in Franklin. For the past year she had been a resident of the Merrimack County Nursing Home in Boscawen.
For 65 years, Dearborn was a member of the Alexandria, Bristol, and New Hampton Granges. She was a longtime member of the Bristol Women's Club, including a four-year term as treasurer. She was also a member of the Rural Letter Carriers Auxiliary.
She is survived by her second husband, Ernest May of Milwaukee; a son, Dennis Dearborn of Plymouth; and a granddaugther, Mitzi Dearborn.
Funeral services will be held Dec. 2 at 2 p.m., at Emmons Funeral Home, 115 S. Main St., Bristol. The Rev. John Fischer, pastor of the Alexandria United Methodist Church, will preside. Interment will follow in Homeland Cemetery in Bristol. There are no calling hours.
