FAYETTEVILLE — Mrs. Mae Wells Garner, 87, of 1429 McArthur Road, died Sunday morning, March 26, in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, March 28, at 2:30 p.m. in Wayne Memorial Park near Goldsboro.
The family will receive friends at Tyndall Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 28, from 1-2 p.m.

GOLDSBORO — Mrs. Leonia Adams Price, 92, died early Saturday morning, March 25, in Wayne Memorial Hospital.
A funeral service was held Sunday, March 26, at 7 p.m. from the chapel of Tyndall Funeral Home with the Rev. Braxton Carter officiating. A committal service and burial was held Monday, March 27, at 11 a.m. in Maplewood Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Indian Springs FWB Church of which she was a member.

Paul J. Aromando Sr.
GOLDSBORO — Paul Joseph Aromando Sr., 74, of Royall Avenue, Apt. 104, died Friday, March 24, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
A graveside service was held on Monday, March 27, at 2 p.m. in Willow Dale Cemetery.
Arrangements were by Howell Funeral Home & Crematory of Goldsboro.

David D. Chesson
GOLDSBORO—Retired Master Sergeant David Douglas Chesson, 68, of 209 North Harding Drive, died Saturday, March 25, at his home.
A funeral service was held on Monday, March 27, at 11 p.m. from New Hope United Methodist Church with Pastor Carolyn Smith officiating.

Annie Mozingo McCandless, 71, died Sunday, March 26, at Wayne Memorial Hospital, Goldsboro.

Ethel Christine Howard, 80, died Friday, March 24, at Wayne Memorial Hospital, Goldsboro.
A graveside service was held Sunday at 3 p.m. in Maplewood Cemetery with the Rev. Steve Ruberg officiating.

PINK HILL—Emily Joyce Taylor, 70, of 463 Jonestown Rd. died Saturday, March 25, at Pitt County Memorial Hospital, Greenville.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. from Bethel Baptist Church, Jonestown Road, with Pastor Jimmie Williams officiating. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Memorial Park.
The family was to have received friends Monday from 7-9 p.m. at Pink Hill Funeral Home and at other times at the home.

Earnest Lee 'Boone' Robinson
Earnest Lee "Boone" Robinson died Thursday, March 23, at Wayne Memorial Hospital, Goldsboro, following an extended illness.
A funeral service was held Monday at 2:30 p.m. from Jackson Tabernacle, Franklin Street, with the Rev. Roosevelt Herring officiating. Burial was in Carver Memorial Park.
The family will be at the Robinson home, 123 E. Williamson St.

GOLDSBORO—Curtis Leach of 1019 Royall Ave. died Friday, March 24, at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
The family will receive friends at the home of Brenda Parker, 104 Short St., Mount Olive.

Charles Willard Hunt, 57, died Tuesday morning, August 8, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro.
A funeral service was held by the graveside on Friday at 10 a.m. in Oak City Cemetery in Bainbridge, Georgia.

The family received friends on Saturday evening from 7 until 8:30 p.m. at Howell Funeral Home & Crematory, 1500 Wayne Memorial Drive in Goldsboro and other times at the residence.

DUDLEY — Mrs. Rachel Smith Wilson, 77, of 1323 Eagles Nest Road, Dudley, died Sunday, August 13, in SunBridge Care and Rehabilitation for Mount Olive.
A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, August 15, from the chapel of Tyndall Funeral Home, Mount Olive. Burial will follow in the Holmes Family Cemetery on Indian Springs Road.
The family was to have received friends Monday from 7 until 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home, and at other times at the home of Ludie Smith, 2520 Indian Springs Road, Dudley.

Mrs. Pauline Creel Smith, 79, died early Saturday morning, August 12, in SunBridge Care and Rehabilitation for Mount Olive.
A funeral service was held Sunday, August 13, at 7 p.m. from the chapel of Tyndall Funeral Home with the Rev. Millard Bounds officiating. A graveside committal service was held Monday, 
August 14, at 10 a.m. in the Smith Family Cemetery on Adams Road, Seven Springs.

William McCoy 'Coy' Smith, 81, of 135 Gregory Smith Road, Albertson, died Saturday, August 12, at Lenoir Memorial Hospital, Kinston.
A funeral service was held Monday, August 14, at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Pink Hill Funeral Home. The Rev. Don Gray officiated the ceremony with Masonic rites. Burial followed in Oak Ridge Memorial Park.

A funeral service was held Sunday, October 22, at 3 p.m. from the chapel of Rouse Funeral Home with the Rev. Billy Ray Jordan officiating. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery, LaGrange.

A funeral service was held at 1 p.m. Tuesday from Pink Hill Funeral Home, Pink Hill, with burial in Oak Ridge Memorial Park in Pink Hill.
The family was to have received friends Monday night at Pink Hill Funeral Home.

GOLDSBORO — Henry Gurney Porter, 82, of 3256 Stevens Mill Road, died Saturday, October 21, at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
A funeral service was held Monday at 11 a.m. from Falling Creek United Methodist Church with the Rev. Craig Langston and the Rev. Jean Hood officiating. Burial was in Wayne Memorial Park.

A funeral service was held Monday at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home with the Rev. Raymond Potter officiating. Burial was in Wayne Memorial Park.

Eva ‘Deggie’ Warren
Mrs. Eva English “Deggie” Warren, 88, of 707 Ann Street died Sunday, December 3, in Wayne Memorial Hospital, Goldsboro.
A funeral services was held by the graveside at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, December 6, in Maplewood Cemetery with the Rev. Jimmy Weaver officiating.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Hettie E. Flowers and Jacques E. Fulghum. 

Alan Gall
Alan Gall, 22, died Saturday, December 2, at Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville. 
Burial will be held at Chapel Lawn Cemetery in Indiana. Local funeral arrangements are being handled by Howell Funeral Home and Crematory in Goldsboro.

Candace Marie Howell, 5 ½ weeks old, of 1354 Stoney Creek Church Road died Thursday, November 30, at the University of North Carolina Hospitals in Chapel Hill.
A funeral service was held Friday, December 1, by the graveside at 2 p.m. in Eureka Cemetery. The family received friends following the graveside service.

A funeral service was held Wednesday, December 6, at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home of Goldsboro with the Rev. Allen Wayne Stanley and the Rev. Frank Harrison officiating. Burial followed in Wayne Memorial Park, Goldsboro.

A graveside service was held, Friday, December 1, at 11 a.m. in Devotional Gardens with Pastor Charles Rodgers officiating.
The family received friends at the home of Donna Melvin at 326 East Best Street, Warsaw.

Atmos Columbus Chasten, 75, of 407 Franklin Street died Wednesday, November 30, at Wayne Memorial Hospital, Goldsboro.
A funeral service was held Saturday, December 2, from First Congregational Church, Dudley, with Minister Michael Maddox and the Rev. Antonio Lawrence officiating. Burial followed in Wayne Memorial Park, Goldsboro.

WARSAW—Mrs. Julia Ann Hill, 83, of 1284 Hwy. 24 and 50 died Wednesday, November 29, at Duplin General Hospital, Kenansville. 
A funeral service was held Monday, December 4, at 2 p.m. from Hines Chapel FWB Church, Warsaw, with Dr. Navarro Brown officiating. Burial was in Devotional Gardens.

DUDLEY—Wymond Smith, 73, of 129 Hope Blvd. died Sunday, December 3, in Wayne Memorial Hospital, Goldsboro.
A celebration of Life Service was held Thursday evening at 7 p.m. from First Pentecostal Holiness Church with Pastor Jim Whitfield officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Maplewood Cemetery in Mount Olive.

Dollie Mae Kornegay
ALBERTSON — Dollie Mae Kornegay, 96, of 160 Dollie Lane, died Tuesday, December 5, at Lenoir Memorial Hospital, Kinston.
A funeral service was held at 11 a.m. Thursday, December 7, from the chapel of Pink Hill Funeral Home with the Rev. Don Gray and the Rev. James Brown officiating. Burial followed in Oak Ridge Memorial Park, Pink Hill.

KENANSVILLE — Ruby Gooding Newton, 87, of Kenansville, died Tuesday, December 5, at the Cedar Falls Lutheran Home in Cedar Falls, Iowa, after a lengthy illness.
A graveside committal service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 9, in Golden Grove Cemetery in Kenansville.
Memorials may be made to Kenansville United Methodist Church.
