Clinton Daniel Robichaux, age 25, of Wilmington, N.C.,
died Friday, March 9, 2001, at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill, N.C., after
a long illness. He was born May 11, 1975, in Wilmington.
Clint was a graduate of Dixon High School in Onslow County
and a recent graduate of NC State University.
He is survived by his parents: father, Charles L. (Chuck)
Robichaux of Wilmington, N.C.; his mother Peggy Murray Barnhill (Doug Barnhill,
husband and step-father) of Holly Ridge, N.C.; a sister, Kellie Robichaux
Smith and her husband Pete Smith of Wilmington and their children, Trey,
Graylon and Lane; maternal grandparents, George and Margaret Murray of
Wilmington; paternal grandparent, Inez Robichaux McKeithan of Wilmington.

HORACE MOORE RIVENBARK
Horace Moore Rivenbark, 88, 250 Singletary St., Clarkton,
NC, and resident of Shoreland Retirement Center, Whiteville, NC, died Sunday,
March 11, 2001.
Born July 24, 1912 in Wilmington, NC. He was a graduate
of New Hanover High School. He then began his 40 year career as a retail
grocer. For two years during World War II, he worked as a welder in the
shipyard in Wilmington.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene David
and Martha Jane Whitehurst Rivenbark.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Bessie Lee Malpass
Rivenbark, son H. Maurice (Mo) Rivenbark and wife Linda, Ocean Isle Beach
and Clarkton, grandson, Robert Nance (Bob) Rivenbark and wife Angela, Winston-Salem;
great-grandson, Caleb Nance Rivenbark and great-granddaughter, Sarah Brooke
The family will receive visitors from 6:30 to 8:30 Tuesday
night, March 13, 2001 at Clarkton First Baptist Church where Mr. Rivenbark
was a member for 62 years. Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 14,
2001 p.m. at the church with entombment at the Clarkton Cemetery.

MR. LAWRENCE ALTON MANNING
Mr. Lawrence Alton "Pete" Manning, age 64, of 802 Holbrooke
Ave., Wilmington, died Sunday, March 11, 2001 at his residence.
"Pete" was born July 22, 1936 in Pitt county, the son
of the late Perry Alton and Oretha Riddick Manning. He was a graduate of
New Hanover High School, a member of the Kapuskasing Masonic Lodge #648,
in Kapuskasing, Ontario, Canada, a Scottish Rite Mason, a member of the
Woodman of the World, Wilmington Lodge #6, a retired veteran of the US
Air Force with twenty-one years of service and had retired from the New
Hanover County Sheriff's Department. He was also a past president of the
New Hanover County Law Enforcement Association.
"Pete" was preceded in death by his wife Rady Jane Norris
Manning in 1997 and a sister Becky Manning Bell.
Survivors include his brother Bobby Manning and wife Patsy
of Greenville, NC, two sisters Noel Seres and husband Jack of Albany, NY,
Perry Anne Rouse and husband Donnie of Hampstead, a very special friend
Peggy Barbour and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday,
March 14, 2001 in the Coble Ward-Smith Funeral Service, Oleander Chapel,
by the Reverend Ray Stevens. The interment will be in Greenlawn Memorial

MILDRED BARNES LANE
Mildred Barnes Lane of 262 Pittman Road near Selma died
Saturday evening at Wilson Medical Center. Born in Wilson County, she was
the daughter of the late Louis R. and Virginia Arrington Barnes.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. in
the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home in Selma with Elder Harold Pittman officiating.
Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park in Smithfield.
Surviving are her husband, Gerald Douglas Lane; daughters,

F. LEON 'BUCK' SANNA
F. Leon "Buck" Sanna of Wilmington died Sunday, March
11, 2001 at Davis Health Care Center.
He was born in West Stockholm, NY, on January 5, 1910,
the son of the late Anthony and Anna Romano Sanna and was preceded in death
by his son David Sanna.
Leon was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church at Wrightsville
Beach and was the former president of Sanna Dairy Corp. in Madison and
Menomonie, Wisconsin, makers of milk products including Swiss Miss Cocoa.
Following his retirement, his passion was his Christmas tree farm in Mt.
Horeb, Wisconsin, and woodworking.
Surviving are his wife of 32 years, Lucy Siberz Sanna
of the home, five children, Katherine Fleming of Madison, WI, Susan Wisniewski
of Phoenix, AZ, Judy Weller of Phoenix, AZ, Chris Sanna of Atlanta, GA,
and Filipe Sanna of Chicago, IL; 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grand|children;
three brothers Charles Sanna and Bartel Sanna, both of Madison, WI, and
Anthony Sanna of Fallbrook, California; and one sister Jeannette Eissfeldt
of Madison, WI.
Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday,
March 14, 2001 at St. Therese Catholic Church in Wrightsville Beach, NC
by Rev. Gene Grabowski.
