RAEFORD -- Retired Sgt. 1st Class James Thomas Fitzgerald, 71, of 7336
Pittman Grove Church Road died Wednesday.
Mr. Fitzgerald was an Army veteran of World War II, and the Vietnam
and Korean wars. He was a former instructor for the Army Education Center
and Fayetteville Technical Community College, and was a farmer.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Jernigan-Warren
Funeral Home chapel by the Rev. E. Glen Holt. Burial with full military
honors will be in Arlington National Cemetery.
Mr. Fitzgerald is survived by his wife, Edith J. Fitzgerald of Raeford;
three daughters, Dianne Martin-Pridgen of Wilmington, Candice Swinson of
Burgaw and Angela F. Gaines of Dallas; five brothers, Edward Fitzgerald
and Joseph Fitzgerald, both of Dushore, Pa., William Fitzgerald of Fayetteville,
Patrick Fitzgerald of Reno, Nev., and Peter Fitzgerald of Grant Hill, Pa.;
three sisters, Celia Lapinsky of Wilmington, Catherine Muller of Dushore
and Theresa Fitzgerald of Baltimore; and five grandchildren.

FAIRMONT -- Mrs. Daisy Turner Barrow, 87, of 4659 Stone Road died Sunday
in Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton.
She was a retired nurse and a homemaker.

Mrs. Barrow is survived by a daughter, Densel J. Jacquez of Muskogee,
Okla.; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

GRAY’S CREEK -- Mrs. Theda Mae Hall, 69, of Route 7, Box 196, Fayetteville,
died Saturday in LenCare Nursing Home.

Retired Army Master Sgt. Charles Ransom Humphrey, 68, of Fayetteville
died Saturday in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
A graveside service with full military honors will be conducted at
10 a.m. Wednesday in Sandhills Veterans Cemetery. Arrangements are being
handled by Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home.
Mr. Humphrey is survived by his wife, Elfriede S. Humphrey of Fayetteville;
a son, Maj. Friedbert J. Humphrey of Stuttgart, Germany; six sisters, Frances
Scullin and Wava Prugger, both of Syracuse, N.Y., Hazel Davenport of Gulf
Breeze, Fla., Shirley Sticht of Baldwinsville, N.Y., Emma Nash of Bellflower,
Calif., and Dorothy Herrington of Hickory; and three brothers, Donald Humphrey
of Constantia, N.Y., William Humphrey of Anchorage, Alaska, and Walter
Humphrey of Central Square, N.Y.
Charles E. Rawlings
Retired Army Master Sgt. Charles Edward Rawlings, 57, of 1640 Sweetgum
Circle, Fayetteville, died Friday in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
The funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Wednesday in First Baptist
Church in Spring Lake by the Rev. Gregory Carroll. Burial will be in the
Main Post Cemetery on Fort Bragg. Arrangements are being handled by Reeves
Funeral Home of Hope Mills.
Mr. Rawlings is survived by his wife, Nancy K. Rawlings; four daughters,
Romesa Brooks of Hawaii, Christina Rawlings of Virginia Beach, Va., Tanya
Acoue of Atlanta and Katie Basquez of Fayetteville; two sons, Johnathan
Rawlings and Uriah Rawlings, both of the home; his mother, Mabel J. Rawlings
of Memphis, Tenn.; a brother, John Rawlings of Memphis; and six grandchildren.
Mrs. Rena A. Parrish
Mrs. Rena Aline Parrish, 77, of Fayetteville died Monday in Cape Fear
Valley Medical Center.

Mrs. Patricia S. Osegueda
PARKTON -- Mrs. Patricia Sealey Osegueda, 48, of 99 Carol Arnette St.
died Monday in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville.
There will be a private funeral service.
Mrs. Osegueda is survived by her husband, Joseph Osegueda; a daughter,
Michelle Braden of Parkton; a son, Joseph Osegueda of Parkton; her parents,
William and Burnette Sealey of Parkton; two brothers, Donald Sealey and
John Sealey, both of St. Pauls; a sister, Vicki Davidson of Fayetteville;
and one grandson.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 at Reeves Funeral
Home in Hope Mills and at other times at the home of Mr. and Mrs. William
Sealey, 497 W. Parkton, Tobermory Road, Parkton.

Michael D. Pannell
Chief Warrant Officer 2 Michael D. Pannell, 28, of 404 Bahama Court,
Fayetteville, died July 8.
The funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the 82nd Division
South Chapel on Fort Bragg by Chaplain Schaefer. Burial with full military
honors will be in the Main Post Cemetery on Fort Bragg. Arrangements are
being handled by LaFayette Funeral Home.
Mr. Pannell is survived by his wife, Lisa Pannell of the home; three
sons, Brandon Pannell, Jeffery Pannell and Joshua Pannell, all of the home;
his mother, Linda Pannell of Oregon; his father, Douglas Berg of Minnesota;
his stepfather, Paul Pannell of Minnesota; a brother, Justin Berg of Minnesota;
and his maternal grandmother, Loraine Barfuss of Oregon.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m. at the home.

BLADENBORO -- Fred Curtis Williamson, 36, of 117 Taylor Road died Saturday.

Mr. Williamson is survived by three brothers, David Taylor of the home,
and Donald Williamson and Allen Haidegger, both of Hope Mills; and four
sisters, Kay Barefoot, Anita Haidegger and Regina English, all of Hope
Mills, and Patricia Williamson of Decatur, Ga.
The family will receive friends today from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the
home.

Lacy Larry Raynor, 53, of Route 9, Box 443, Fayetteville, died Friday
in Columbia Highsmith-Rainey Memorial Hospital.

Church by the Rev. T.W. Campbell. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Raynor is survived by his wife, Mary C. Raynor of the home; three
daughters, Juanette D. McKinnon, Jonathan R. Raynor and Sharlene B. Raynor,
all of Fayetteville; a son, Lacy A. Raynor of Germany; three sisters, Gladys
Gilmore, Lorena McMillan and Geneva Williams, all of Fayetteville; a brother,
Robert Raynor of Fayetteville; a stepbrother, Eugene Ryals of Fayetteville;
and seven grandchildren.

Marvin L. Tucker, 47, of Route 1, Box 108-A2, Fayetteville, died Sunday
in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

Church in Anderson, S.C. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Tucker is survived by a daughter, Latosha Alford of Fayetteville;
his father, Willie A. Tucker Sr. of Anderson; his stepmother, Gennette
Tucker of Anderson; three brothers, Melvin Tucker, Willie Tucker Jr. and
Douglas Tucker, all of Anderson; and four grandchildren.

Mr. Martin is survived by his father, Willie Martin Sr. of the home;
