Drive, Fayetteville, died Sunday.

be in Cumberland Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Black is survived by his wife, Patricia B. Black; two daughters,

a son, Matthew W. Black of Fayetteville; two sisters, Annie S. Hall and

of Gastonia; six grandchildren; and seven step-grandchildren.

Jimmie ‘Bop’ Sharpe
SANFORD -- Jimmie Dan “Bop” Sharpe, 62, of Route 14 died Monday in his
home.
He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and a member of Swann Station
Baptist Church. He was a farmer and a carpenter.

Church by the Revs. Russell Blackmon and Bob Brown. Burial will be in Cameron
Grove cemetery.
Mr. Sharpe is survived by his wife, Doris B. Sharpe; a daughter, Jill
McNeill of Broadway; a son, Jack Sharpe of Sanford; two sisters, Margie
Icard of Aiken, S.C., and Dot Dixon of Sanford; a brother, Delano Castleberry
of Holden Beach; three grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren.

Va.; and a sister, Evelyn Gould of Raeford.

PHILADELPHIA -- Mrs. Laura Jane Williams Spady, 79, of Philadelphia,
formerly of Fayetteville, N.C., died Thursday.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in New Bethel AME Zion
Church in Fayetteville by the Rev. Joseph Smith. Burial will be in Lafayette
Memorial Park West in Fayetteville. Arrangements are being handled by Wiseman
Mortuary of Fayetteville.
Mrs. Spady is survived by two sisters, Parthenia Chavis of Fayetteville
and Corena Parker of Philadelphia.
The family will receive friends at 2096 Rim Road, Fayetteville. |
