Mrs. Eatmon is survived by her husband, W.T. Eatmon; a son, Norwood Eatmon of Huntington Beach, Calif.; a daughter, Betty J. Lemons of Sanford; a sister, Lois Mercer of Richmond, Va.; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Peter A. Polumbo
ST. PAULS -- Peter A. Polumbo, 69, of 1930 Yarborough Road, died Tuesday.
Mr. Polumbo was a Marine veteran of the Korean War. He served in the 2nd Marine Division. Mr. Polumbo worked for Kelly-Springfield Tire Co. in Fayetteville for 36 years and Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. in Akron, Ohio, before retiring. He was a volunteer handyman for the CARE Clinic and a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church for 23 years.
A Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday in St. Patrick Catholic Church in Fayetteville by Father John Kelly. Arrangements are being handled by Cape Fear Crematory of Fayetteville.
Mr. Polumbo is survived by his wife, Betty Polumbo; four children, Andrew Polumbo, Timothy Polumbo, Dean Polumbo and Lisa Berg, all of North Carolina; a sister, Mary Ann Poprik of Memphis, Tenn., two brothers, Stephen P. Polumbo of Greers Ferry, Ark., and Michael J. Polumbo of Arizona; 13 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

FAIRMONT -- Marion Anderson King, 62, of 4619 N.C. 904, died Monday in Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton.
Mr. King was a forklift operator for Georgia Pacific Corp. before retiring.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in Floyd Funeral Services chapel in Fairmont by the Rev. Kenny Mitchell. Burial will be in Fairpoint Church cemetery.
Mr. King is survived by his wife, Mildred O. King of the home; two sons, Mack A. Retired Army Staff Sgt. Santo Santonocito, 92, of 412 York Road, Fayetteville, died Monday in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

Mr. Bryant was a machinist for American Steel Foundry in Hammond, Ind., before retiring. He attended Hyde Park Baptist Church.
