University Hospital, Augusta.
Mrs. Corley, 72, resided on Corley Road.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Monday at Clearwater First
Baptist Church. The Rev. John Bolin will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset
Memory Gardens, Graniteville.
A native of Concord, N.C., Mrs. Corley was a daughter of the late James
and Mary Goodman LeFler. She was the retired owner and operator of Rachel's
Beauty Shop.
Mrs. Corley was a member of Clearwater First Baptist Church, where
she was a member of the Swinging 60s group.
Mrs. Corley was the widow of H. Edward Corley.
Surviving are one son, Darryl E. Corley, Connelly Springs, N.C.; one
daughter, Judy Ackley, Kirtland, N.M.; two brothers, James Thomas LeFler
Jr., Alpharetta, Ga., and Doyle E. LeFler, Winston-Salem, N.C.; two sisters,
Katherine Shepherd, Concord, N.C., and Mary Balogh, Nokesville, Va.; and
five grandchildren.

BLACKVILLE - Karolyn (Kay) Patterson Hartzog, 67, died Friday, Oct.

A native of Eddyville, Ore., Mrs. Hartzog was a daughter of the late
William Walter and Laura Jewel Patterson. She was a retired supervisor
of claims with the South Carolina Job Service.
Mrs. Hartzog was a member of Blackville First Baptist Church, where
she was a Sunday School teacher for over 25 years. She was a member of
the Naomi Sunday School class.
Surviving are her widower, Tommy O. Hartzog; one daughter, Penny H.
Creech, Barnwell; two sisters, Winnie Whitaker, Redmond, Ore., and Nell
Patterson, Los Angeles, Calif.; and three grandchildren.

Lila Burkhalter Millian died Saturday, Oct. 14, 2000, at her residence.
Mrs. Millian resided at 208 Frontage Road, Aiken.

A native of Bath, Mrs. Millian was a daughter of the late Will and
Estelle Attaway Burkhalter. She was a retired lieutenant of the Crossing
Guards with the Prince William County Schools, Manassas, Va.
Mrs. Millian was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.
She was a member of St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church. Mrs.
Millian was a member of the LHC American Legion Post No. 153, and was a
member of the WAVES National, a U.S. Naval organization.
She was the widow of Elmer (Bill) Millian.
Surviving are one daughter, Susie Millian, San Francisco; two sisters,
Sadie Wood, Beaufort, and Bobby Jean Burkhalter, Augusta; two grandchildren;
and four great-grandchildren.

A native of New Smyrna Beach, Fla., Mr. Parker was a son of the late

Mr. Parker was a U.S. Navy veteran.
He was a member of Grace Covenant Church of God, where he was a member
of the Adult Sanctuary Sunday School class and the Sanctuary Choir.
Surviving are his widow, Ellen Wingate Parker; two daughters, Michelle
Parker Jones, Hendersonville, N.C., and Penny Lynn Parker, Mooresville,
N.C.; one brother, Robert E. Parker Jr., Liverpool, Tex.; and one grandchild.
