Miona "Brownie" Blomberg
Miona "Brownie" Blomberg, 86 of Macon, died Tuesday, Feb. 29 [2000] at Samaritan Hospital in Macon. 
Mrs. Blomberg was born July 12, 1913 southwest of Excello, the daughter of Riley and Annie Mae Lunsford Brown. Her father was killed while working in Mine 24 when she was a year old. Her mother then married Finis Miles. 
She married Claude Amos Blomberg on Dec. 25, 1941 at Macon and he preceded her in death on April 19, 1997. She was a member of Macon United Methodist Church and was a lifelong Macon County resident. 
Surviving are several nieces and nephews. 
She was also preceded in death by her parents, one infant son, Richard Stephen; and two half-brothers, Bertram and Arval Miles. 
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Hutton & McElwain Funeral Home in Macon with Bro. Howard Hartung officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens at Macon. 
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. 
Memorials suggested to American Cancer Society and may be left at the funeral home.

Robert M. Chapman 
Robert M. Chapman, 85, of Moberly died Tuesday at 4 p.m. in Moberly Regional Medical Center. 
He was born March 25, 1914, at Higbee, a son of William and Margaret Kelso Chapman. Mr. Chapman, who worked for Duplex Products Inc., was a veteran of World War II. He had lived in Moberly since 1971, coming from Illinois. He was a member of the RLDS Church. He was preceded in death by one brother and four sisters. 
Surviving are a sister: Mary Truby, Centralia; one nephew, Don Asbury, Moberly; and two nieces, Roberta Hitt of Moberly and Charlene Shores of Centralia. 
Services will be 1 p.m. Friday at Million-Taylor-Patton Funeral Home in Moberly. Jack Davison will officiate. Burial will be in Higbee City Cemetery. Visitation will begin at noon Friday at the funeral home.

Ronald Lee Ward 
Ronald Lee Ward, 54, of Columbia, formerly of Moberly, died at 2:07 a.m. Monday in the University Hospital, Columbia. 
He was born May 21,1945, in Mexico, a son of Homer Lee and Virgie Simpson Ward. He was a custodian for the Midway Trucking Company. Mr. Ward, who served in the Air Force, moved to Columbia 12 years ago from Moberly. Mr. Ward was a member of the Latter-Day Saints Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Homer Lee Ward; and one grandson, Gregory Louis Ward. 
Surviving are his wife, Donna F., of Columbia; two sons: Derek and Jeffrey Lawrence Ward, both of Columbia; daughter, Cindy Ward Phillippe, and husband, George Lee, also of Columbia; hhis mother, Virgie Ruth Luntsford; two brothers: Larry Ward of Moberly; and James Luntsford, Springfield, MO; four sisters: Kathy Ward, Rebecca Ward, Marie Ward, and Jan Denning, all of Pawnee, IL; grandchildren: Candice Marie, Derek Franklin, Christopher Michael Ward Walters and Krista Jean and Ashley Nicole Gravitt and Jacob Lee Gravitt; sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and step-mother, Bonnie Jean Ward, Pawnee. 
Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Million-Taylor-Patton Funeral Home in Moberly. Bishop David Richardson will officiate. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery. Visitation was from 6 until 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home in Moberly.

George A. Rook 
George A. Rook, 74, of Moberly died Monday in the emergency room of Moberly Regional Medical Center. He had been in failing health and was taken to the hospital from his home. 
Born Oct. 4, 1925, in Chariton County, he was a son of the late George Earl and Leona Winkler Rook. He was also preceded in death by an infant brother, Charles Wayne. 
Mr. Rook had served in the Navy during World War II, receiving an honorable discharge. He was a retired brakeman-conductor for the Norfolk and Western Railway with 30 years of service. Mr. Rook was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church and Moberly VFW Post. 
He married Altha (Nonie) Dameron on Sept. 12, 1946, at Moberly. She survives. 
Also surviving are three daughters and two sons-in-law: Jeanie and Ken Gelski, Moberly; Debbie DeJonge, Columbia, and Patti and Robert Smothers of Moberly; six grandchildren: Scott and Gina Taylor, Tony DeJonge, Ryan, Sarah and Rusty Smothers; seven great-grandchildren: Gaila and Craig DeJonge, Jordan, Abby and Hunter Taylor, Christian Smothers and Aleix Fry; five sisters and brothers-in-law: Virginia and L. A. Terry, Clifton Hill; Mayme and Melvin Harlan, LaFeria, TX; Sue and Dick Eagan, Lee's Summit; Jean and Bill Farnen, Salisbury, and Shirley and Gene Hayward, Garden Grove, CA; nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. 
The family suggests memorials to the American Heart Association or Diabetes Association. 
The body was cremated at his request. Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Oakland Cemetery. Dr. Dennis Lake of Central Christian Church will officiate.

Mary Augusta Morlan
Mary Augusta Morlan, 86, of Moberly died this morning at 1:40 o'clock in North Village Park.
She was born Oct. 1, 1913, at Pollock. a daughter of Milton and Rosa Wyant Dennis. She moved to Moberly in 1979 from Iowa. Mrs. Morlan was a member of the United Methodist Church in Moulton, IA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis; on Aug. 19, 1991; one son, Wendal; two brrothers and one sister.
Surviving are four sons and daughters-in-law: Mike and Shirley Morlan of Moberly; Fairel and Kathy Morlan of Springfield; Allen and Phyllis Morlan of Moulton, IA, and Ronald and Betty Morlan, Burlington, IA; two daughters: Estel Ann Cawvell, Bellview, IA; and Rosemary Morlan, Des Moines, IA; one brother, John Dennis, Milan; seven grandchildren; including Sheryl Conklin, Moberly; several great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Million-Taylor-Patton Funeral Home in Moberly. Rev. Donald Mattson will officiate. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon until 1 p.m. Saturday at Million-Taylor-Patton Fuenral Home in Moberly.

Edward A. (Bub) Long
Edward A. (Bub) Long, 72 of Moberly, died late Thursday evening, April 21, at Audrain Medical Center in Mexico.
Mr. Long was born Sept. 9, 1927 in Stoutsville, the son of Edd A. and Doris Woodworth Long.
He married Lillie M. Garnett on June 8, 1952 in Paris, and she survives of the home.
Survivors also include four daughters, Betty (Dana) Hart, Edna Long and Audra (Gerald) Bell, all of Moberly, and Donna (Dean) Levings of Paris; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one brother, Bruce Long; and two sisters, Thelma Kester of Independence and Gloretta Hendrix of Paris.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Henry Long.
He served in the Army during WW II in Germany. He was, also, a member of the First Baptist Church in Moberly. He worked for Banquet Company for 26 years.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday at Agnew Funeral Home. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Moberly.
Visitation will be Saturday from 1 p.m. until time of service.

Ethel Mae Barron
Ethel Mae Barron, 83, of Higbee died Thursday at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia. 
Born March 25, 1917, in Higbee, she was a daughter of the late Jim Jobson and Mertyle Bly Jobson. Mrs. Barron was a school teacher in the Higbee and Moberly public schools for 43 years. She was a member of the Retired Teachers Association and First Baptist Church in Fayette.
She was married April 19, 1988, to Audrain Barron. He survives. Also surviving are a step-daughter, Audrey, and her husband, Elvin Wallenschlager, of Morton, IL; nephew and his wife, Donald and Jean Sharp, state of Wisconsin.
Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Million-Taylor-Patton Funeral Home in Moberly. Burial will be in Higbee City Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at noon Monday.

Margaret Katherine Lorton
Margaret Katherine Lorton, 74 of Owensville, died Wednesday, April 19 at Warsaw Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Warsaw.
Mrs. Lorton was born June 4, 1925 at Moberly, the daughter of Henry Freeman and Jenny Taylor Freeman. 
On Sept. 23, 1944 at Macon, she married Russell Edwin Lorton and he preceded her in death.
She was a member of First Baptist Church of Owensville.
Survivors include two sons, Russell A. Lorton and wife Priscilla of Osceola, and Gerald D. Lorton and wife Mary of Owensville; two daughters, Kathryn Hawkins of Owensville, and Mary Laux and husband John of Gerald; one brother, Jerry Freeman and wife Nancy of Columbia; two sisters, Bonnie Patton of Moberly and Shirley Hall and Husband Bill of Oscaloosa, IA; 15 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Floyd and Henry Freeman; three sisters, Marcella Kribbs, Virginia Hess and Juanita Freeman; two grandchildren, Andrea Lorton and Tosha Withers; and one son-in-law, Larry Farrell.
Services were held at 2 p.m. today at Gottenstroeter Funeral Home, Owensville, with Russell Lorton officiating. Burial was in New Friendship Cemetery at Gerald.

Erma Hayes Waddell
Erma Hayes Waddell, 84 of Macon, died Wednesday, May 3 at the Samaritan Hospital in Macon.
Mrs. Waddell was born July 27 1915 in New Cambria, the daughter of James Ollie and Mary Jane Ferguson May.
She married Buck Hayes in December, 1931, and he preceded her in death in 1965. She then married Garrett Waddell in 1966 and he preceded her in death in 1966. She was a member of the King Hill Baptist Church in St. Joseph Where she lived since 1966.
Survivors include one son, Kenneth Wayne and his wife Barbara Hayes of St. Joseph; one daughter, Lois Holman of Macon; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and three brothers, Williams Delbert and Chet May, all of Callao.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two husband, three sisters and one brother.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Hutton & McElwain Funeral Home in Macon, with Bro. Howard Hartung officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Macon.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Vivian Irene Williamson
Vivian Irene Williamson, 83 of Paris, died at Monroe Manor Nursing Home in Paris on Tuesday, May 2.
Mrs. Williamson was born May 28, 1916 in Monroe County, the daughter of John D. and Lurena Shortridge Levings.
She married Lester Hopkins Williamson on Jan. 21, 1936 and he preceded her in death. 
Mrs. Williamson was a deputy sheriff in Monroe County, worked at Headstart, and was a seamstress at Monroe Manor Nursing Home for 20 years. Mrs. Williams was a member of the Marr Extension Club and the Paris Methodist Church.
Survivors include five daughters, Marilyn Y. Cole of Quincy, IL, Marjorie L. Gottman of Monroe City, Myrna K. Williams of Mineral, VA, Marsha A. Threlkeld of Paris, and Laura L. Gibbs of Hurst, TX; one brother, Wayne Levings; 14 grandchildren; and 32 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by six brothers and one sister.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Agnew Funeral Home in Paris, with Rev. Virginia Gravel officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery at Paris.

Eleanor Ann Thomas
Eleanor Ann Thomas, 94 of Bevier, died Thursday morning, May 4, at her home in Bevier.
Miss Thomas was born Jan. 30, 1906, at Bevier, the daughter of Ivor William and Elizabeth Jane (James) Thomas.
After graduation for the Chillicothe Business College, Miss Thomas was employed in Kansas City for several years, returning to Macon County in 1940. She was employed with the Division of Welfare in Macon from 1942 until her retirement in 1973. Miss Thomas was a member of the Bevier First Baptist Church and taught in the Children's Sunday School for many years.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Carney-Armstrong Funeral Chapel in Bevier, with Rev. Scott Dalrymple officiating. Burial will be in West Oakwood Cemetery in Bevier.
Visitation will be Saturday, from 1 p.m. until time of service at the funeral chapel.

Wanda Fateley
Wanda Fateley, 87 of Macon, formerly of Huntsville, died May 2, at the Loch Haven Nursing Home in Macon.
Mrs. Fateley was born on June 13, 1912 in Kaseyville, the daughter of William Franklin and Margaret Frances Burnam Teter. 
She married Joseph O. Fateley on Dec. 23, 1944 at Huntsville, and he preceded her in death on May 15, 1981. 
She moved from Huntsville to Macon in 1983. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Macon and worked for Winnie Brown, Jane Hughes and La Feminque Dress Shops in Macon.
Surviving are one daughter, Dana Vance of Moberly; one step-daughter, Mrs. James Dunaway of Carl Junction; two grandsons, Shane Clark and Cameron Mitchell; one step-grandson, J.J. Dunaway; one great-granddaughter, Jordan Ann Mauzey; and one sister, Mrs. Berta and her husband Morrison "Buck" Buchanan of Loch Haven Nursing Home in Macon.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Milton Sterling Rucker
Milton Sterling "Mickey" Rucker, 68 of Huntsville, died Monday, May 1 at the Macon Health Care Center in Macon.
Mr. Rucker was born March 31, 1932 in Huntsville, the son of William Estel and Anna Carey Moss Rucker.
He married Jeanon Weniger on Dec. 22, 1985 in Huntsville, as she survivors of the home.
He served his country in the U.S. Army and the Army National Guard. Mr. Rucker worked as a Correctional Careworker for the Department of Corrections for 27 years, retiring in 1994. He also worked for a number of years as a butcher at the Little Dixie Packing Co. in Moberly. He was a lifelong member of the Huntsville 2nd Baptist Church, where he was a trustee and a deacon in training. He was also a volunteer for the Foster Grandparent Program and a Mason.
Survivors also include two daughters, Scarlett Lynn Rucker and her fiance Agegnehu Misikir of Huntsville, and Christine Mason Gambrell and her husband Jimmie of St. Louis; four grandchildren; three sisters, Esther Rucker of Huntsville, Naomi Palmer and Helen Berry, both of East Moline, IL; three sisters-in-law, Emily Rucker of Macon, Ruby Rucker of Huntsville, and Michelle Mills of St. Charles; two brothers-in-law, Steven Weniger of Hillsboro, and Lamont Weniger of Glade, AZ; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Ada Belle Williams Rucker; five brothers; and three sisters.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday at the Huntsville 2nd Baptist Church with Rev. Raymond Mallory officiating. Burial will be in Huntsville City Cemetery, with full military honors.

Brad Dougherty
Brad Dougherty, 22, of Springfield, formerly of Cairo, died unexpectedly Sunday of natural causes in the emergency room at Cox Medical Center South in Springfield.
Born Sept. 21, 1977, at Moberly he was a son of Allen and Barbara Haffecke Dougherty. Brad was a 1995 graduate of Northeast R-4 School in Cairo, where he lettered in a number of sports.
He was employed by Aztec Computering in Springfield as a computer technician. 
On March 20, 1999, in Honolulu, he married Robyn Fumiko Sakamaki and she survives at the home in Springfield. Also surviving are his father, Allen Dougherty, of Revere, MO; mother, Barbara, and step-father, Glen Schmitt, of Honolulu, Hawaii; grandparents, Kenneth and Elodean Dougherty of Fayette, and William Haffecke of Huntsville, MO; three aunts, three uncles, cousins and friends.
Services will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Cater Funeral Home Chapel in Moberly. Following services, at his request, the body will be cremated and the ashes will be placed in Fayette City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 until 8 p.m. Wednesday at Cater's.

Wilma Royal Gravitt
Wilma Royal Gravitt, 56, of Moberly died at 4:25 a.m. Tuesday at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia.
Born June 24, 1943, in Johnson City, NY, she was a daughter of Royal Irene Reed Love . Mrs. Gravitt, who worked in a garment factory, moved to Moberly in 1966. 
She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church and Eagles Auxiliary No. 2669. She was preceded in death by a sister, Eva Love. 
Surviving are her step-mother, Ruth Love. of Vestal, NY; two brothers: Tom Love and Dennis Love, Binginegton, NY; two half-sisters: Carol Moffitt and Denise Gray, both of Binginegton, and one step-sister, Debbie Stover, Binginegton and several nieces and nephews. 
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday in Million-Taylor-Patton Funeral Home in Moberly. A memorial service by Eagles Auxiliary No. 2669 will be held at 1 p.m. Friday. Rev. Mark DeShon, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Huntsville City Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home in Moberly.

Margaret Louise Thornhill, 87, of Renick died this morning at 6:34 o'clock in her home. 
Mrs. Thornhill was born Aug. 2, 1912, in Kansas City, a daughter of John and Betty Bradshaw McLain. She moved to Renick a year ago from Thomas Hill. She was a member of Southern Randolph Christian Church at Higbee. 
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack; one son, Donald Lee Thornhill; two brothers and one sister. 
Surviving are two sons: Jack and his wife, Anna, of Cole Camp and William Thornhill of Jacksonville, FL; three daughters: Margaret Elizabeth Thornhill, Kansas City; Shirley Bittle, and her husband, Charles, Renick, and Judith Durbin and her husband, Everett, Renick; one brother, John McLain, state of Oregon; two sisters: Nellie Williams, state of Utah, and Ethel Whitton, Kansas City; several grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and step-grandchildren.

Charley E. Campbell, 61, of Hunnewell, formerly of Macon, died Monday, May 8 at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, IL.
Mr. Campbell was born on May 17, 1938 in Schuyler County, IL. the son of Homer W. and Dorothy E. Rickard Campbell. He married Georgetta Burkhart on April 9, 1990 at Macon. He had worked as a mechanic for Walter's Service Garage, Sutton Motors, Gaunt Enterprises and Walker Construction.
Surviving are his wife Georgetta of the home, his mother, Dorothy Campbell of Beardstown, IL., two sons, Christopher Campbell and Michael Andrews of the home, one daughter, Lois Richardson and husband, Danny of Baldwin, MS, six other children, two grandsons, Marcus Atkins and Xavier Richardson, one brother Orville Campbell and his wife Mary of Hannibal and one sister, Donna Blake and her husband, Walter of Beardstown, IL.
He was preceded in death by his father and sister.

Anita Lorene Johnson
Anita Lorene Johnson, 81, of LaPlata, died Saturday, June 10 at Loch Haven Nursing Home in Macon.
Mrs. Johnson was born in Elmer on April 3, 1919, the daughter of Walter Stone and Cecile Mae Adkins Coffman. She married Ralph Johnson. She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge No. 791 IOOF of Missouri and a member of the Novinger Full Gospel Church in Novinger.
Among the survivors are one granddaughter, Vickie Johnson of Pacific, a niece, Paula Burris of Macon; Roger Dorson of Salisbury and cousins, Bonnie McLain of Callao; M.T. Coffman of Callao and Clifford Coffman of Callao.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, three sisters, Thelma, Wilma and Barbara; one brother, Frank Coffman on November 1, 1994 and one son, Harold Johnson on January 29, 1990.
Graveside services were held Monday at Howard Cemetery, northwest of Callao, under the direction of the Hutton and McElwain Funeral Home in Macon.

Clair D. Pettit
Clair D. Pettit, 81 of Arizona City, AZ, died at 7:15 a.m. Saturday morning at the Moberly Regional Medical Center. He had been in failing health and had come to Moberly to visit his daughter.
Mr. Pettit was born March 13, 1919, at Hillsdale, MI, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Clarence D. Pettit.
He had served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII and was a medical corpsman. He had received an honorable discharge.
Reared and educated in Des Moines, IA, he was a builder and a literature evangelist prior to his association with the Christian Record Brail Foundation until his retirement in 1985.
On Nov. 30, 1961 at Lincoln, NE, he married Mildred Bardo and she survives of the home in Arizona City, AZ.
Survivors also include children, Paulette and Tom Murphy of Lincoln, NE, David and Julie Pettit of Whidby Island, WA, Esther Wormhood of Calamesa, CA, Bill Bardo of Mesa, AZ, Eva and Elmer Sundean of San Marcos, TX, and Janice and Ken Purkey of Moberly, MO; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a brother, LaVerne Pettit of the State of Michigan; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The body was cremated. Mr. Pettit was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church of Casa Grande, AZ, where a memorial service will be held at a later date.

Wilma Pauline Wilson, 83 of Milwaukee, WI, formerly of Huntsville, died Monday, June 12 at the Alexian Village Health Center at Milwaukee, WI.
Mrs. Wilson was born May 30, 1917, at Huntsville, the daughter of Bill and Beulah Pearl Todd Brogan.
On Sept. 3, 1939, in St. Louis at the Third Baptist Church, she married Dr. Carl F. Wilson and he preceded her in death on April 18, 1970. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Katherine Angelo.
Mrs. Wilson worked for years for Josea Taylor, attorney at law, and retired in 1986 from the Westran School Administrator's office. She was a lifelong member of PEO and member of the First Baptist Church, Huntsville.
Survivors include one son, Frank and Vera Wilson of Milwaukee, WI; one daughter, Cindy and Terry O'Connor of Wentzville; one sister, Mary and Bob Harris of Salisbury; one sister-in-law, Ruthie Mae Fisher of Joplin; five grandchildren, Julie Pauline Wilson, Frank David Wilson, Patrick O'Connor, Michael O'Connor, Tiffany and Terry Mackin; one great-granddaughter, Mackenzie Mackin; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, at First Baptist Church, Huntsville, with Rev. Dean Baxter officiating. Burial will be in Huntsville City Cemetery.
Visitation will be from Thursday from 1-2 p.m. at the Baptist Church.
Memorials suggested to the Alexian Village Chapel Fund or in the name of Dr. Carl and Wilma Wilson at the Westran Scholarship Fund.

Lee Palmer
Lee Palmer, 77, of Cairo died at 5:25 p.m. Monday in Moberly Regional Medical Center after a brief illness.
Mr. Palmer was born July 1, 1922, at McClure, IL, a son of the late Harry and Alma Palmer. He served his country during World War II in the U. S. Army, receiving an honorable discharge.
For 30 years, Mr. Palmer was superintendent of public works for the Village of Stone Park, IL, retiring in 1991. He was also a volunteer fireman many years. 
Mr. Palmer was a member of Jacksonville-Cairo Unity Church. 
He married Betty Borst on Sept. 2, 1947, at Cape Girardeau. Preceding him in death were a daughter, Sherry Lee Duffy; two sisters, Lucille Hurts and Bea Simpson; and a brother, Charles (Bud) Palmer.
Surviving are his wife, Betty, of Cairo; daughter and son-in-law: Betty and Rev. Bill Rucker of Cairo; son, Terry Palmer, Webster, MA; son and daughter-in-law, John and Geraldine Palmer, Carbondale, IL; 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two brothers and sisters-in-law: Pat and Peggy Palmer of Stone Park, IL and Denny and Virginia Palmer of Doniphan; two sisters and brother--in-law; Barbara Baker of Cape Girardeau; Erma and George Tucker , Addison, IL; and other relatives and friends. 
Funeral services will be 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Cater Funeral Home Chapel. Following services, the body will be cremated and the ashes will be interred at a later date in the Lindsey Cemetery at McClurg Cemetery. Rev. Bill Rucker will officiate. Visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m. Wednesday at Cater's.

Anna Margaret Giesler
Anna Margaret Giesler, 84, of Moberly died Monday at 8:40 a.m. in Moberly after a lengthy illness.
Mrs. Giesler was born Aug. 24, 1915, at Cairo, a daughter of the late Fred and Lutie Embree Baker. She married Raymond V. Giesler in 1933 at Moberly. They owned and operated Giesler Radio and TV on Coates Street in Moberly until retiring in 1972. 
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond, in 1991. 
Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law: Fred and Patsy Giesler of Columbia and David and Carolyn Giesler of Pickwick Dam, TN; four grandchildren: Scott and Suzanne Giesler and Cindy Jones of Columbia; and Jennifer Giesler of Springfield and three great-grandchildren, Cody and Courtney Jones and Amber Giesler all of Columbia; and other relatives and friends.
The family suggests memorials to St. Pius X Foundation.
Funeral mass will be 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Pius X Catholic Church. Father Patrick Shortt will officiate. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 until 8 p.m. Wednesday with rosary at 7:30 p.m. at Cater Funeral Home.
