Mrs. Wade was born Aug. 30, 1926 in Linn County, near New Boston, the daughter of Archie Holiday and Nellie Jane (Bradley) Carriker.

Harold C. Lake, 75, Macon died Saturday, Feb. 19, 2000 at the Samaritan Hospital in Macon. 
Mr. Lake was born on May 6, 1924 in Bynumville, the son of Claude E. and Sarah Amanda Bailey Lake. He married Ruby Fry on Sept. 9, 1951 at the Marceline Baptist Church in Marceline.

Kurt Alan Brown, 38, La Plata, formerly of Memphis and the Kirksville area, died Thursday morning, July 6, 2000 following a private plane crash in Quincy, Ill. The son of Ronald Floyd and Linda Marilyn (Tague) Brown he was born Feb. 25, 1962 in Kirksville.
