Crystal George
Crystal George, 87, of Salisbury, died Friday, November 23, 2001 at the North Park Village Care Center in Moberly.  Crystal was born September 21, 1914 in Salisbury the daughter of Rudolph and Elsie (Stoeppelman) Boeger.  Mrs. George was a lifelong Salisbury resident.
Crystal married Melvin J. George on January 25, 1948 in Salisbury and he preceded her in death on August 21, 1971.
Crystal was a housewife, a member of the United Methodist Church in Salisbury, Order of the Easter Star (Warren Star Chapter), she volunteered for the American Cancer Society for over 50 years serving as president of the Chariton County Unit for 11  years, she served on the Farm Bureau Board for many years, and was on the board of trustee's for 6 years of the Chariton County Health Department where she helped organize the department in 1986.
Mrs. George is survived by her son and daughter-in-law; Roger and Lana George of Salisbury, three grandchildren Jason Young and his wife Tia, Jennifer Young and Gabriel George, two great grandchildren, Cole and Cheyenne Young and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brother, Howard Boeger.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 11:00 a.m. at the Summerville Funeral Home in Salisbury with interment in Eastlawn Memory Gardens Cemetery in Salisbury.  Visitation will be Sunday from 5 til 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.  Memorials are suggested to the church or American Cancer Society.

Mary (Perkins) Kahn
Mary (Perkins) Kahn, 93, of Kansas City, MO died November 12, 2001 at St. Luke's Hospital in Kansas City. Mary was born July 17, 1908 in Orrick, MO the daughter of Robert Clay and Gussie Adelaide (Minter) Perkins. She was raised by her grandparents Judge and Mrs. H.C. Minter in Keytesville, MO. Mary married Ulyn Parker and this union lasted 20 years, in 1953 she married Jack Kahn and he preceded her in death in 1984.
Mary attended Keytesville High School and graduated in 1926.  She attended business school in Kansas City. She was a co-owner and operator of Parker Cafe for 20 years, and later worked as a secretary and bookkeeper for Kiser & Henley Co., in Kansas City.  Mary was a member of the Broadway United Methodist Church and the Eastern Star.
Mary is survived by a half brother John Perkins of Flushing, MI and two half sisters Merta Powers of Kansas City, MO and Pat Smith of Lee's Summit, MO and a step daughter.
Visitation will be from 9 - 10:30 a.m. Friday, November 16, at the Summerville Funeral Home in Salisbury. Graveside Services will be 11:30 at the Keytesville City Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Broadway United Methodist Church in Kansas City.

Dorothy L. Minks
Dorothy L. Minks, of Salisbury, died November 5, 2001 at her daughter's home in Poplar Bluff, MO.  Dorothy was born December 31, 1912 in Salisbury, MO the daughter of Jesse and Maude Gertrude (Smith) Street and granddaughter of John and Sarah (Street) Randolph.  Dorothy married James Elmer Cadmus and he preceded her in death on July 23, 1963.  She married Harmon Minks and he preceded her in death on April 23, 1977.
Dorothy was a lifelong area resident.  She was a co-owner and operator of Caddy's Food Center for ten years, then she worked as mail clerk for Biltwell for 21 years.  Dorothy was a member of the Salisbury United Methodist Church, Eastern Star Chapter 354 in Keytesville, Missouri Federation of Women's Club, and former board member of the Little Dixie Concerts in Moberly.
Dorothy is survived by a daughter Dona Kay Ijames of Poplar Bluff, MO a granddaughter Rebecca Ann Taylor and grandson Bryan Cadmus Keathley, two great grandchildren, a sister Jessie Maude Blake of Marceline, and brother Donald W. Coomes of Lady of the Lake, Florida.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, a brother Charles, two sisters Mildren Bowman and Mary E. Wolf.
Visitation is 5 - 7:00 p.m. Friday, November 9 at the Summerville Funeral Home, Inc. in Salisbury.  Services are 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 10 at Summerville Funeral Home with burial in Oakland Cemetery in Moberly.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.

Ralph Gauna
Ralph Gauna, age 71, of Salisbury, died November 3, 2001 at his home.  Ralph was born May 14, 1930 in Dilly, TX the son of Samuel and Joshephine (Medina) Gauna.  Ralph married Shirlee Ferguson on January 12, 1974 in Tijuana, Mexico, and she survives of the home.
Ralph was a decorated veteran of the Korean Conflict.  He had served in the U.S. Army and was a prisoner of war for 27 months.  Ralph had worked as a respiratory therapist and physicians assistant for Kiser Permante Hospital in Bellflower, CA. Ralph had lived in Salisbury the past eight years moving from Anaheim, California. He was a member of the Salisbury Lions Club.
Ralph is survived by his wife Shirlee, mother-in-law Dorothy Guilford of Salisbury, children Ralph Bernard (Duffy) Gauna of Orange County, CA, Vincent Thomas Gauna and wife Crystal of Kodiak Island, AK, Jeffrey Allen Gauna of Boise, ID, Lee Knight of Salisbury, MO, Kimberly Josephine Gauna of Anchorage, AK, Gloria Louise Chamberline and husband Jack of East Liverpool, OH, Dawn Marie Glenn and husband Greg of Orange County, CA, Lisa Kay Davidson of Greenville, MI, and J'Nae Linneman of Salisbury, 21 grandchildren, and three great grandchildren, two brothers Manuel Gauna of Kalamazoo, MI and Richard Gauna and wife Judy of Dayton, OH and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers Joe and Edward Gauna.

Fern Schnetzler
Fern Schnetzler, age 95, of Moberly, died November 4, 2001 at her home, 220 Taylor, Moberly, MO.  She was born November 12, 1905 to the late Bessie Brown Jones and Edmon Brooks Jones, at Huntsville, MO and moved to Weatherford, Oklahoma with her parents at the age of 2 years.  The family moved back to Musselfork, MO when she was 4 years old.
She received her teaching degree from Kirksville State Teachers College and taught for a number of years in the rural schools of Chariton County.
On November 30, 1929, she married Leslie Schnetzler of Salisbury, MO, where they resided as farmers.  Later in life they moved to Madison, MO and after Leslies' death she moved to Moberly, MO where she resided until her death.
She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Moberly, the Trinity United Methodist Women, and a Sunday School Teacher.  She was also a volunteer for the Randolph County OATS, MACC of Moberly and member of the Chariton County Historical Society.
Survivors are three children; Barbara Mannering and husband Bob of Warrensburg, MO, Beverly Renne and husband Harvey of Kansas City, MO, and Leslie Schnetzler of Madison, MO, nine grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Leslie, infant daughter Brenda Eilene, sister Willo Jones, brother Floyd Jones, and daughter-in-law Eulah Schnetzler.
Visitation is 6 - 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 6 at the Summerville Funeral Home in Salisbury.  Funeral services are 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, November 7 at Summerville Funeral Home with burial in Salisbury City Cemetery.  Memorial may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

Katharine Morrill
Katharine Morrill, age 85, of Macon, formerly of Dalton, died January 27, 2002 at Loch Haven Nursing Home in Macon. 
Mrs. Morrill was born Jan 3, 1917 in Boston, Massachusetts, the daughter of George J and Me Evelyn Murray. She had lived in the Dalton community before moving to Oklahoma and then to Macon where she had resided the past seven years.
She married Rev. Clarence A. Morrill in Mizzoula, Montana and he preceded her in death on Aug. 18, 1980.
Mrs. Morrill was a registered nurse and dietician for over 50 years working in many hospitals and nursing homes.  She also had served as Chariton County Health Nurse for five years.
She was of the Methodist faith.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Clarence B. "Buz" and Lisa Morrill of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; two daughters and a son-in-law; Katharine D. "Kathy" Sanders of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Ann E. and Dennis Pegelow of Salisbury; nine grandchildren, Katie Whitekiller, Bill Wilkinson, Tiffany Morrill, Christy Morrill, Heather Riley, Jennifer Pegelow, Nathanel Pegelow, Maygan Pegelow, and Ashlea Pegelow; and six great-grandchildren, Jeff Whitekiller, Josh Whitekiller, Justin Whitekiller, Hannah Wilkinson, Jessica Wilkinsons, and Sierra Riley.
Visitation and memorial services were held January 29 at Summerville Funeral Home in Salisbury.  Internment was in the Keytesville City Cemetery.  Memorials were suggested to the Keytesville City Cemetery Association.

Elizabeth Walter Porter
Elizabeth Walter Porter, 79, of Salisbury, died Tuesday January 29, 2002 at the Chariton Park Health Care Center in Salisbury.  She was born March 1, 1922 in Musselfork, Missouri the daughter of Orie Merrill and Mattie Gertrude (Cloyd) Carter.
Elizabeth graduated from Prairie Hill High School, and she lived in the Mussellfork and Salisbury area until 1973 when she moved to Boonville, Arkansas where she resided until 1974 when she returned to Keytesville, Missouri.
She married Arthur Lewis Walter on July 7, 1940 and he preceded her in death on June 16, 1969, later she married Delmer Porter on August 6, 1972 and he preceded her in death on December 31, 1993. Also preceding her in death were two brothers, Jesse and Earl Carter and a sister Ruby Hendley and a granddaughter.
Elizabeth was a housewife, she was of the Baptist faith and she worked for the Biltwell Clothing Factory in Salisbury for 10 years.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law; Kenneth and Sue Walter of Smithville, MO; three daughters, Betty Cook and her husband Roy of Kansas City; Linda Cash of Kansas City and Regenia Briggs and her husband Michael of St. Joseph, MO; one brother, Paul Carter of Salisbury; one sister, Dorothy Derby of the state of California; seven grandchildren, Dan Cook, Jeff Cook, Debbie Reynolds, Leslie Westling, Jeremy Briggs, Josh Cash and Jacob Cash; six great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 2, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. at the Summerville Funeral Home in Salisbury with internment in Eastlawn Memory Gardens Cemetery in Salisbury.  Visitation will be from 6 - 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.  Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.

Willie Mae Linneman
Willie Mae Linneman, 88, of Salisbury died January 20, 2002 at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia.  Willie Mae was born June 15, 1913 in Armstrong, MO the daughter of William Will and Edna Mae (Hayes) Garner.  She married William Lawrence Linneman on April 5, 1936 in Armstrong, MO and he preceded her in death on March 14, 1987.
Willie Mae has lived in the Salisbury area the past 52 years, moving from Armstrong.  She was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist Church in Armstrong.  Willie Mae enjoyed planting and taking care of flowers in her yard.
Willie Mae is survived by a son-in-law, Charlie Weiseman of Salisbury, grandchildren, Dennis Weisman and Connie Massie both of Salisbury, MO, great grandchildren, Michael and Lynn Weiseman and Justin, Brent and Charley Massie, and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Betty Jean Weiseman, brothers, Ellis, Marion, Ralph, Jack and James Garner, and sister Margaret Blum.

Mary Rebecca Winn
Mary Rebecca Winn, 91, of Salisbury died January 10, 2002 at Chariton Park Health Care Center in Salisbury.  Mary was born July 12, 1910 in Scribner, MO the daughter of Steven Thomas and Elnora (Kinzle) Bennett.  She married William Marvin Winn on July 26, 1928 in Salisbury and he preceded her in death on February 17, 1994.
Mary was a lifelong area resident.  She was a seamstress for 13 years for Biltwell Clothing Factory.  Mary enjoyed sewing and taking care of cattle.  She was of the methodist faith.
Mary is survived by a son and daughter-in-law Donald and Donna Goins of Salisbury, sister Catherine Schnetzler of Chariton Park and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, two brothers, Oscar Thomas and Richard Justine Bennett and an infant sister Goldie Lee Bennett.

Audra L. McClain
Audra L. McClain, 85, of Salisbury died January 9, 2002 at Chariton Park Health Care Center in Salisbury.  Audra was born April 14, 1916 in Deerridge, MO the son of Lewis Mnason and Sarah (Dare) McClain.  He married D. Pauline Dick on December 28, 1939 in Knox City, MO and she survives of Salisbury.
Audra was a 1934 graduate of Canton High School.  He served in the Army Air Corp as a Corporal during WWII, and fought in battles in Germany, Belgium and France.  Before entering the Military Audra lived in Paris, MO where he operated an Implement Business with his father and brother.  After the war Audra moved to Salisbury and operated McClain Implement Co. until 1966.  After retirement in 1966 the McClain's moved to Columbia, MO where they lived until 1999 returning to Salisbury at that time.  Audra was a lifetime member of the American Legion in Columbia, and a member of the Salisbury United Methodist Church.
Audra is survived by his wife D. Pauline McClain, a daughter and son-in-law Betty and Larry Harman of Salisbury, two grandchildren, Amy Harman and fiancee Derrick Bachtel and Chris Harman and fiancee Rachel Mallet, and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Sterling McClain and sisters Lotus Jacob and Flora Bell Bybee.

Mary Louise Phelps
Mary Louise Phelps, age 87, of Salisbury, died April 23, 2002 at Chariton Park Health Care Center in Salisbury.  Mary was born October 4, 1914 in Moberly, MO the daughter of Bernard and Rose (Lang) Willer.  She married George Elwood Phelps on January 28, 1942 in Moberly, MO and he preceded her in death on January 1, 1992.
Mary was a longtime resident of Salisbury where she was owner and operator of Phelps Shoe Store for 70 years.  She was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church, the St. Joseph Altar Sodality, and Salisbury Chamber of Commerce.
Mary is survived by two sons Larry Phelps of Salisbury and Mike and wife Marcia Phelps of Ft. Atkinson, Wisconsin, three grandchildren Jason and wife Sally Phelps, Melissa Phelps and Brian Phelps, a great granddaughter Melinda Phelps, nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband Elwood, parents, two brothers Paul Willer and George Willer, a sister Irene Bailey.
Visitation is Friday, April 26 from 5-8:00 p.m. with a Rosary/Wake service at 7:30 p.m. at the Summerville Funeral Home in Salisbury.  Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m., Saturday, April 27th at St. Joseph Catholic Church with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Joseph School Foundation.

Harold E. King
Harold E. King, age 76 of Salisbury died April 21, 2002 at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia, MO.  Harold was born May 24, 1925 in Bucklin, MO the son of Jesse Harlan and Lillie (Powell) King.  He married Ruth H. Hepworth on May 24, 1945 in Bynumville, MO and she survives of the home.
Harold was a carpenter and worked for Davis Construction and other carpenters as well as being self employed.  Harold was a member of the Bynumville Christian Church.  He volunteered at the Show-Me Christian Youth Home for many years.
Harold is survived by his wife Ruth, of the home, three daughters Pat Chapman and husband Danny of Columbia, MO, Becky King of Salisbury, and Peggy and Husband Kent of Richmond, MO, two grandchildren Eric and wife Josie Chapman and their son Devin, and Jill Chapman all of Columbia, MO.

Edna Peterson
Edna Peterson, age 80, of Sturgeon, MO died April 3, 2002 at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia, MO.  Edna was born February 22, 1922 in Prairie Hill, MO the daughter of George Henry and Nora Lee (Daley) Perdue.  She married William F. Peterson on July 21, 1938 and he preceded her in death on July 2, 1982.
Edna was a homemaker, and enjoyed gardening, quilting and crochet.  She was a member of the Hallsville Church of Christ.  Edna always put other people before herself.
Edna is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law; Leta and John White of Excelsior Springs, MO, Jane and Clarence Woodard of Columbia, MO, Shirley and Gary Unterschutz of Hallsville, MO, two sons and daughters-in-law; William F. and Ann Peterson, Jr. of Columbia, MO and Roy and Zona Peterson of Louisiana, MO, a sister Muriel Sanders of Clifton Hill, MO, twelve grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.  She was preceded in death by her husband William, her parents, a daughter Marian Lee Peterson on March 20, 1941, two sisters Marie Johnson and Georgia Wallace.

Thelma Jones Kinnaird
Thelma Jones Kinnaird, age 74, of MoKane, MO, formerly of Keytesville, MO died May 28,2002 at Capital Regional Medical Center in Jefferson City, MO. Thelma was born October 29, 1927 in Hamden, MO the daughter of Hugh Lee and Mary Edna (Powell) McAdams.
Thelma worked as a seamstress for the Biltwell Factory and at the A.S.C.S. office in Keytesville.  She was a Baptist.
Thelma is survived by a daughter and son-in-law Linda and Dan Ide of Miller City, IL, two sisters Agnes Nelson of Lexington, TN and Delma Henke of Salisbury, MO, a brother Bill Ponder of Salisbury, three granddaughters, two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents and stepfather Harold Ponder.

George E. Nanneman
George E. Nanneman, age 84, of Salisbury, died May 23, 2002 at Moberly Regional Medical Center.  George was born December 5, 1917 in Wien, MO the son of Joseph and Helen (Lodder) Nanneman. He married Maxine Poss on September 2, 1941 in Sibley, IA and she survives of the home.
George is a lifelong Chariton County resident and farmer.  He served in the U.S. Army during WWII.  He was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbia.
George is survived by his wife Maxine, four sons: Richard Nanneman and his wife Karen of Naples, FL, Bill Nanneman and wife Luann of Moberly, MO, Ray Nanneman and wife Beth of Salisbury, MO, and Dennis Nanneman and Mary Knecht of Callao, MO, three daughters, Catherine Keeven and husband Glenn of St. Peters, MO and Joann Webb and husband Tom of Blue Springs, MO, Norma Weimer and her husband Larry of Salisbury, two brothers Ernest and Martin Nanneman both of Salisbury, eight sisters, Jo Willis of the state of Utah, Gertrude Henke, Teresa Kruessel, Agnes Emmerich, Jean Henke all of Salisbury, Sister Bernelda Nanneman O.S.B. of Atchinson, KS, Mary Diamond of Aurora, CO, Rita Gaydusek of Kansas City, MO; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents, sons Dale and Vincent Nanneman, daughter Margaret Nanneman, brothers Ben, Lawrence Virgil and Vincent Nanneman, and Sisters Edith Nanneman O.S.B. and Virgil Nanneman O.S.B.
Visitation is Saturday, May 25 from 5 -8:00 p.m. with a 7:30 p.m. Rosary at Summerville Funeral Home in Salisbury.  Mass of Christian Burial is Sunday, May 26 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in  Salisbury with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Joseph School Foundation or the American Diabetes Association.

Pamela Henning
Pamela Henning, 77, of Columbia, formerly of Dalton, MO died May 16, 2002 at Columbia Manor Care Center in Columbia.  Pamela was born August 17, 1924 in Bucks Hill, England the daughter of William and Nellie (Bartram) Higgins.  She married Alfred E. Henning on Feb. 18, 1944 in England and he preceded her in death on January 5, 1984.
Pamela moved to the United States in 1946, living in the Dalton community until 1985, then moving to Columbia.  She was a homemaker, and had worked for Banquet Foods at Marshall, MO and the Biltwell Factory in Salisbury.  She was a member of the Dalton United Methodist Church and a volunteer at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia and had attended Christian Fellowship of Columbia for several years.
Pamela is survived by two daughters Barbara J. Davis and her husband Michael of Columbia and Valerie I. Dogett of Columbia, a sister Gwen Smallwood of Tulsa, OK, six grandchildren, three step grandchildren, two step great grandchildren, one nephew and three nieces.  She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, sister Phyllis Page and son Paul W. Henning.
Visitation is 6-8:00 p.m. Friday, May 17th at the Summerville Funeral Home in Salisbury.  Services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 18th at Summerville Funeral Home in Salisbury with burial in Keytesville City Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to the Keytesville Cemetery Association or the Christian Fellowship Missions Fund, Christian Fellowship Rd, Columbia, MO  65203.

Pamela Henning
Sylvia Lamb, 80 of rural Salisbury died Sunday, May 12, 2002 at the Moberly Regional Medical Center (skilled nursing unit) in Moberly, Missouri.  She was born August 27, 1921 in rural Huntsville, MO the daughter of Frank and Vera (Taylor) Barger.  Sylvia had resided in Salisbury since 1957 moving here from Huntsville.  She married Raymond Lamb on September 21, 1957 in Marshalltown, Iowa and he preceded her in death on December 29, 1987.
Mrs. Lamb was a homemaker and a member of the protestant faith.
Survivors include her son, Robin Lamb of Salisbury, two sisters Elizabeth Yung of Huntsville and Bernice Wright of Moberly, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers and five sisters.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 14, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. at Summerville Funeral Home in Salisbury with burial in Prairie Valley Cemetery North of Salisbury.  Visitation is Monday from 6 till 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.  Memorials are suggested to the Prairie Valley Cemetery Association.

Billie H. Spence
Billie H. Spence, 78, of Salisbury, died Wednesday, May 1, 2002, at his home.  Billie was born October 1, 1923 in Salisbury, MO the son of William Tell and Mabel (Schnetzler) Spence.  He married Opal L. Linneman on May 20, 1948 at Salem Lutheran Church in Forest Green.
Billie was a lifelong Salisbury resident.  He was owner and operator of Spence TV in Salisbury for 40 years, retiring in 1986.  Billie served in the U.S. Navy during WWII.  He was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Salisbury.
Billie is survived by his wife Opal of the home, a sister Eleanor L. Isert of Moberly, MO and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation is Friday, May 3 from 6-8:00 p.m. at the Summerville Funeral Home in Salisbury.  Funeral services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 4 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Salisbury with burial in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Lutheran Hour Ministries or the American Heart Association.

Ellen M. Richardson
Ellen M. Richardson, 76, of Salisbury died Tuesday, June 4, 2002 at the Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.
Ellen was born June 28, 1925 in Salisbury the daughter of Daniel and Henrietta Arnsperger who have preceded her in death as well as her brother Leroy Arnsperger and sisters, Gertrude Arnsperger and Edna Lauman.
Ellen graduated from Salisbury High School and attended the University of Missouri at Columbia.
She married Clifford Richardson on October 15, 1948 in Independence, MO and he survives of the home.  She was a partner in the IGA Foodliner in Salisbury, the first female member of the Salisbury RIV School Board and a lifelong member of the United Methodist Church, serving on the Board of Trustees.
In addition to her husband, survivors include her daughters Janet Iman and her husband Wally of Salisbury and Sandra Bautista and her husband Joel of Moberly, grandchildren, Scott Iman, Allison, Kate and Lauren Bautista.  Siblings of Ellen's who survive are Elmer Arnsperger and Mildred Bachtel of Salisbury, Mary Louise Morrissy and Ed Arnsperger of Omaha, NE, and Carolee Combs of Baltimore, MD and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial Services will be held Friday, June 7, 2002 at 11:30 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Salisbury with visitation from 10  til service time Friday at the church under direction of the Summerville Funeral Home in Salisbury.  Memorials are suggested to the church or to the Chariton County Community Foundation.

Patricia Logan Quilty
Patricia Logan Quilty, 66 of Mexico, MO, died Monday at the Harry S. Truman Veteran's Hospital in Columbia, MO.  She was born December 29, 1934 in Salisbury the daughter of Nathan and Evelyn (Blackman) Logan.  Patricia was a graduate of the class of 1952 from Salisbury High School, following that she joined the U.S. Marine Corp where she served for 10 years.  She served in the Korean Conflict and was honorary discharged in 1963 as rank of Staff Sergeant.
Patricia married William J Quilty II in March of 1963 in Washington D.C. and he preceded her in death.  She was also preceded in death by her father.  Mrs. Quilty was a member of the Salisbury United Methodist Church.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, June 7, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. at the Summerville Funeral Home in Salisbury with visitation one hour prior to service time.  Burial will be in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA.  Memorials are suggested to the Patricia Logan Quilty Memorial Scholarship Fund.

Ruth E. Littleton
Ruth E. Littleton, 82, of Keytesville, Missouri, died Monday, June 3, 2002 at the Brunswick Nursing Home.  She was born February 14, 1920 in Keytesville the daughter of Daniel and Josephine (Sanderson) Bentley.  Mrs. Littleton was a lifelong Keytesville resident.
Ruth married Grant O. Littleton on November 29, 1941 in Keytesville and he preceded her in death on October 26, 1981.
Mrs. Littleton was a housewife and a lifelong member of the Keytesville Baptist Church.
Survivors include her 4 sons Norman Bentley of Keytesville, Junior Littleton and his wife Denise of Keytesville, Bob Littleton of Dalton, Jerry Littleton and his wife Laurinda of Keytesville, one daughter, Sandy Gooch and her husband Gene of Brunswick, three brothers, Ernest "Hoot" Bentley, Jesse W "Nig" Bentley and John Henry Bentley all of Keytesville, 10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.   She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers, Fonzo, Grover and William Bentley and a sister Frances Conrad and one grandson, Bruce Littleton.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 6, 2002 at 10:30 a.m. at the Keytesville Baptist Church with burial in Asbury cemetery south of Keytesville.  Visitation will be from 6 - 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 5 at the Summerville Funeral Home in Salisbury.   Memorials are suggested to the church or cemetery.
