Funeral services for Mary E. Beauchaine, 72, Ramsey, took place March 15 
at Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, Anoka. Pastor Blair Anderson 
officiated.
Beauchaine died March 10 at Mercy Hospital. She was born Oct. 2, 1927 in 
Ramsey, Minnesota, to Frederick C. Pamraning and Elizabeth (Schulz). She 
was married to Robert C. Beauchaine. Mary was a bank teller at The 
Northern Bank.
She is survived by her nephews, Morrie Mox, LeRoy, Dale, Verne, Reid & 
Ryan Pomraning; niece, Madonna Brenny; and many other relatives and 
friends.
She was preceded in death by her sisters, Minnie Mox, Elizabeth Hulegaard, 
her brother, Carl Pomraning, and her husband, Robert Beauchaine.
Interment was at Forest Hill Cemetery. Arrangements were by 
Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, Anoka.

Mark “Jacob” Garrick
Funeral services for Mark “Jacob” Garrick, 20, Blaine, took place March 13 
at Gearhart Coon Rapids Funeral Chapel. Rev. Kenneth DeFor officiated.
Garrick died March 10 in St. Paul, Minnesota. He was born August 18, 1979, 
in Tampa, Florida, to Mark Garrick and JoAnn Bodin.
He is survived by his parents, Mark and JoAnn, brother, Carl John, sister, 
Kimberly Ann, and many other relatives and friends.
Interment was private, with arrangements being made by Gearhart Coon 
Rapids Funeral Chapel.

Stephen W. Holasek
Funeral services for Stephen W. Holasek, 57, Ramsey, took place March 13 
at Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Chapel, Anoka. Pastor Gene H. Hedlund 
officiated.
Garrick died March 9 at his residence in Ramsey. He was born April 13, 
1942, in Minneapolis, MN, to Joseph S. & Harriet V. (Dvorak) Holasek. He 
was married to Gloria J. Swanson. Stephen was a carpenter.
He is survived by his wife, Gloria; sons, Mark and wife Harriet, Craig and 
Tim; grandsons, Michael and Samuel; mother, Harriet Holasek; siblings, 
Jean Ernst, Edward, Allan, Elaine Weinbrenner and husband Randy, and 
Jerry; and other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joe.
Pallbearers were Bob Spencer, Dave Jund, Francis Moulzolf, Kenny Hayes, 
Wayne Spencer, Steve Spencer, George Benson, Dan Wilhelm, Gene Zopft.

Marie E. Langmade
Funeral services for Marie E. Langmade, 85, Burns Township, MN, took place 
March 14 at Riverdale Assembly of God, Andover. Pastors Larry E. Hale and 
Lawren Ingalls officiated.
Langmade died March 10 at her home. She was born Jan. 1, 1915, in St. 
Francis, MN, to John Westlund and Marie Rongstad. She married Merle C. 
Langmade, and was a homemaker. She was a member of Riverdale Assembly of 
God.
She is survived by her children, Loella Nass and husband Bernie, Verona 
Loven, Janice Wefel and husband Chuck, Marvel Payne, Karen Ingalls and 
husband Lawren, Gary, Linda Davis and husband Owen, Jerry and wife Ellie, 
Marv; 20 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, brother, Art Westlund, and 
sister, Dolores Neuenswander.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Merle.
Pallbearers were Jeff Nass, Jay Loven, Todd Payne, Jason Payne, David 
Ingalls, Aaron Davis, and Michael Langmade. Honorary pallbearers were the 
remaining grandchildren.
Interment was at Oakview Cemetery in St. Francis. Arrangements were made

Hertha Loften
Funeral services for Hertha Loften, 77, Anoka, took place March 9 at 
Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Chapel, Anoka. Pastor Dennis L. Heiden 
officiated.
Loften died March 3 at the New Brighton Care Center. She was born December 
7, 1922, in Tumar Nieudorff, Barashie, Russia, to Rudolph and Alvina 
(Tober) Hoppe. She married J. Glyn Loften on Nov. 18, 1945 in Minneapolis, 
MN. She was an assembler at Cornelius Company in Anoka.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda Resch of Mounds View; grandsons, 
Greg and Jeff Resch; sisters, Alma Ova of St. Paul and Hilda Williams of 
Manhattan, KS; brother, Alvin Hoppe and wife Gloria of Big Sandy, TX; 
nieces, nephews; and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J. Glyn Loften.
Pallbearers were Alvin Hoppe, Gregory Rasch, Ed Hawkins, and David 
Hawkins.
Interment was at Forest Hill Cemetery, Anoka. Arrangements were made by 
Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, Anoka.

Dennis C. Nordling
Funeral services for Dennis C. Nordling, 70, Anoka, took place March 13 at 
Epiphany Catholic Church (Mass of Resurrection). Father Bernard A. Reiser 
officiated.
Nordling died March 10 in Anoka. He was born May 27, 1929, in Minneapolis, 
MN. Dennis was a painter.
He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Jeanne. Dennis was: a 
loving father to 3 sons, Steven (Sandra), Jeffrey (Janice), Scott 
(Collette); loving and protective grandfather to Angel, Jeremy, Stacey, 
Casey, Kelly, Michael, and Samuel. He is also survived by his brothers, 
Kenneth (Sally), Richard (Betty), sisters, Beverly Lee (Clifford), Irene 
Carlson, and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Donald, and sister Leona.
Pallbearers were Dean Johnson, David Johnson, Bruce Johnson, Darrel 
Dorholt, Craig Nordling, and Carey Nordling.
Interment was at Morningside Memorial Gardens, Coon Rapids. Arrangements 
were made by Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids.

Myra Viola Okerstrom
Funeral services for Myra Viola Okerstrom, 84, Fridley (formerly of St. 
Anthony Village), took place March 16 at Nativity Lutheran Church. Pastor 
Glenn Seefeldt officiated.
Okerstrom died March 12 in Oak Grove. She was born March 27, 1915, in 
Melrose, MN, to Adolph Peterson and Hilma Tollefsrud. She was married to 
Theodore Okerstrom, and was a homemaker.
She is survived by her children, Warren and wife Karen, Dennis and wife 
Karren, Rick and wife Carol, June Anderson and husband Roy; 29 
grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren, 15 great-great-grandchildren; and 
other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ted, and daughter, Marlys 
Ogdahl.
Pallbearers were Anna Tice, Jesse Anderson, Danika Okerstrom, Cheri 
Okerstrom, Christine Okerstrom, and Wendy Miller.
Interment was at Sunset Memorial Park. Arrangements were made by Gearhart

Orville W. Olson
Funeral services for Orville W. Olson, 83, Blaine, took place March 13 at 
Gearhart Coon Rapids Funeral Chapel. Chaplain Bruce Nelson officiated.
Olson died March 9 in Blaine. He was born July 8, 1916, in Ansel, MN, to 
Frank J. Olson and Carrie Torgerson. He was married to Doris C. Erickson. 
Orville worked in highway construction.
He is survived by his wife, Doris, son and daughter-in-law, Dennis and 
Roberta Olson, grandson Dennis Jr., brothers, Frank and Everette Olson, 
and nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Frank Olson Jr., Randy Cowan, Troy Cowan, Joseph Olson, 
Clark Olson, and Steven Koppenberg.
Interment was at Morningside Memorial Gardens. Arrangements were made by

Merrill S. Paulson, Sr.
Funeral services for Merrill S. Paulson, Sr., 79, Anoka (formerly of North 
Dakota and Marion, MN), took place March 11 at Zion Lutheran Church. 
Reverend Norman R. Berg officiated.
Paulson died March 6 in Hidalgo County, Mission, Texas. He was born 
October 30, 1920, in LaMoure, ND, to Selmer Paulson and Lillian Aundrud. 
He was married to Carolyn Strander and was a truck driver. Merrill served 
in WWII in the U.S. Army, was an avid RVer and mechanic, and was a member 
of the American Legion.
He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Carolyn; daughter, Marlene 
Lindblom, sons, Merrill Jr. and wife Diane, Gerald and companion Rose; 
grandchildren, Melissa, Michelle and husband Trent, Michael, Monica and 
husband Allan, Shane, Brandon and Candi; great-grandson, Garrett; sister, 
Lillian Joy Scott; brothers and sisters-in-law, Kenneth & Bonnie, 
Cornelius and Bertha, Neal and Norma, and Milfred and Sue.
He was preceded in death by brothers, John and Reginald.
Pallbearers were Richard, Rodney, Lyle, Ardell, Andy and Jeff Paulson.

Robert E. Sorenson
Funeral services for Robert E. Sorenson (Bob), 73, Blaine, took place 
March 13 at Gearhart Coon Rapids Funeral Chapel. Pastor Howard Skulstad 
officiated.
Garrick died March 10 in Coon Rapids. He was born September 1, 1926, in 
Colman, SD, to Hans C. Sorensen and Dora B. Dyce. He was married to Bonnie 
L. Crichton, and was a truck driver.
He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Bonnie; daughters and 
son-in-law, Cheryl and Greg and Gail; son and daughter-in-law, Bryan and 
Glenns; grandchildren, Jessica, Jeremy, Michelle, Mitchell, Matthew, 
Melissa, Brianna and Jennifer; and many other friends and relatives.
Interment was at Morningside Memorial Gardens. Arrangements were made by 
Gearhart Coon Rapids Funeral Chapel.

James C. White
Funeral services for James C. White, 86, Anoka, took place March 16 at 
Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Chapel, Anoka. Rev. Tim Roehl officiated.
White died March 12 at Park River Estates Care Center, Coon Rapids. He was 
born July 7, 1913, in Dallas, TX, to Arvin and Sarah White. He was married 
to Dorothy Mae Hopkins. James was a retired meat cutter for grocery 
stores.
He is survived by his daughter, Joanne Sullivan of Coon Rapids, two 
grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy, and son, Robert.
Interment was at Forest Hill Cemetery, Anoka. Arrangements were made by

Merle H. ‘Pat’ Bentz
Funeral services for Merle H. “Pat” Bentz, 83, Elk River, took place May 1 
at Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, Anoka. Rev. Kenneth Rice officiated.
Bentz died April 27 at Guardian Angels Nursing Home, Elk River. He was 
born Feb. 27, 1917 in Willmar to Harry and Tillie Christianson Bintz.
He is survived by his wife, Sylvia; sons, Dan (Maureen) Bentz of Anoka, 
Darryl (Carol) Bentz of Dayton; five grandchildren; four 
great-grandchildren; brother, Al (Louise) Bintz of Woman Lake; and 
nephews, Pat Bintz of Champlin and David Bintz of Cold Spring.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Tillie Bintz; brother, 
Don Bintz and sister, Frances Bowman.
Interment was at Vernon Cemetery, Elk River. Arrangements were by

Loretta Mary Boyum
Funeral services for Loretta Mary Boyum (Adelmann), 75, Andover, took

Boyum died April 23 in Andover. She was born Feb. 22, 1925 in Richfield.
She is survived by her children, Mary Green (Joe), Susan Johnson (Gary), 
Jim (Roseanne), Joan Davis (Rick), Bob (Michelle), Greg, Dan, John, Kathy 
James (Paul), Bill (Rachel), Paul and Joseph Boyum; daughter-in-law, Sue 
Boyum Alderick; 43 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gloyd; and son, Tom.
Interment was at Epiphany Cemetery, Coon Rapids. Arrangements were by

Eunice L. Carlson
Funeral services for Eunice L. Carlson, 80, Anoka, took place April 30 at 
Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids. Rev. Paul Anderson officiated.
Carlson died April 28 in Robbinsdale. She was born July 6, 1919 in 
Dresser, Wis.
She is survived by her daughter, Sharron Engle; son, Dennis (Patsy) 
Carlson; daughter, Debra (Harvey) Teichroew; grandchildren, Jodie (Grant) 
McLagen, Jeannine (Jon) Gould; Brian (Julie) Engel, April (Gary) Hoffman, 
Laurie Grambling, Richard (Michelle) Carlson, Denise (Scott) Ness, Jason 
and Kyle Teichroew; 12 great-grandchildren; and sister, Virginia White.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Carlson.

Hazel M. Carlson
Funeral services for Hazel M. Carlson, 70, Champlin, took place April 26 
at Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids. Chaplain Rex Beyer 
officiated.
Carlson died April 24 in Coon Rapids. She was born April 22, 1930 in 
Glenwood and worked in a medical lab technician director’s office.
She is survived by her son, Wesley and wife Lorna; daughter, Celeste 
Lundeen and husband Ron; grandchildren, Majken Carlson and Bryan Lundeen; 
brother, Arvid Hanson and wife Adelle; and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her children’s father, Robert Leif Carlson.
Interment was private. Arrangements were by Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel.

Larry N. Chase
Funeral services for Larry N. Chase, 52, Minneapolis, took place April 26

Chase died April 22 in St. Cloud. He was born Jan. 14, 1948 and was a 
laborer.
He is survived by his sister, Barb Davison of St.Paul; brothers, Gail 
(Ruth) Chase of Anoka, Larry (Pam) Witte of Alaska, Mike and Tom Chase of 
Minneapolis; many nieces, nephews and grandnephews; and other relatives 
and friends.

Thomas J. Chevalier
Funeral services for Thomas J. Chevalier, 60, Coon Rapids, took place 
April 27 at St. Timothy’s Catholic Church, Blaine. Rev. Harold Tasto 
officiated.
Chevalier died April 23 in Coon Rapids. He was born March 2, 1940 in 
Duluth and was a 29-year employee of Benson and Quinn as a traffic 
manager.
He is survived by his wife, Christine; daughters, Charlotte Chevalier, 
Lori (Donald) Mickelborough; brothers, Leonard, William (Coralie); 
sisters, Carol Swensen (Leonard), Jane Armstrong, Ann Chevalier (Bud 
Armstrong); and many nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Jim LaBelle, Ken Graves, Donald Mickelborough, David 
Prudhomme, Tom Greenslit and Dan Christensen.

Paily Daniel
Funeral services for Paily Daniel, 80, Brooklyn Park, took place April 29 
at Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids. Rev. Gregory Hickle 
officiated.
Daniel died April 24 in Brooklyn Park. He was born May 20, 1920 in India 
and worked in the distribution industry.
He is survived by his wife, Annam; sons, Paul (Leelamma) George (Mary), 
John (Leelamma) and Joy (Chinnamma); daughters, Mary (Mathew) Paulson, 
Annie (Kurian) Jacob, Sobhana (Jose) Varghese; and 15 grandchildren.
Pallbearers were John, Joy, Paul and George Daniel, Jacob Kurian, and Jose 
Varghese.
Interment was at Epiphany Cemetery, Coon Rapids. Arrangements were by

Henrietta Downing
Funeral services for Henrietta C. “Hattie” Downing, 79, Brainerd, formerly 
of Anoka, took place May 2 at Nelson-Doran Funeral Home, Brainerd.
Downing died April 27 at St. Joseph’s Medical Center. She was born Aug. 
16, 1920 in Mahnomen County to Dr. William and Hentji Kruydyk Kerssen and 
had been employed at Red Owl Stores for 30 years.
She is survived by her husband, Elmer; son, Douglas Downing of Olthae, 
Colo.; grandson, Michael Downing of California; sisters, Aleida VanDyke of 
Richfield and Nelly Wibbels of Mahnomen; brothers, Benny Kerssen and 
Willie Kerssen of McKintosh, Phillip Kerssen of Coon Rapids, and Henry 
Kerssen of Washington
She was preceded in death by her son, Daniel.
Interment was at Forest Hill Cemetery, Anoka. Arrangements were by

Leanne Hutton
Funeral services for Leanne Hutton, 40, Andover, took place May 1 at St. 
Stephen’s Catholic Church, Anoka. Rev. Mike Van Sloun officiated.
Hutton died April 27 in Andover. She was born March 20, 1960 in 
Breckenridge.
She is survived by her husband, Denny; parents, Gene and Irma Wilber; 
brothers, Jerry, Ron, Rich, Roger, Jim and Mike; sisters, Carol, Pat, 
Sharon, Liz, Theresa and Sheila; and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her brother, William.

Maurice Johnson
Private family funeral services will take place for Maurice D.S. (Maury) 
Johnson, 88, Kansas City, Mo., formerly of Anoka and Ramsey.
Johnson died April 30 at his home. He was born Dec. 4, 1911 in Anoka to 
Allen D.W. and Nora Bergslien Johnson. He grew up on the family farm in 
Ramsey and graduated from Anoka High School, then earned a journalism 
degree from the University of Minnesota, where he played football on the 
team that was the 1934 national champion. He moved to Kansas City to join 
the staff of the Southwestern Miller, a publication serving the milling 
industry, then became executive vice president of the Staley Milling 
Company, Kansas City, in 1945. From 1960-67, he was executive vice 
president of the First National Bank of Kansas City, before moving to 
Louisville, Ky., to assume the presidency and subsequently chairman of the 
board of then Citizens Fidelity Bank, now PNC Bank Louisville. He retired 
as chairman of the board in 1977.
He is survived by his wife, Kathryn; daughters, Sandra Patzman and husband 
David, Martha Johnson, and Nancy Bullock and husband Tom; grandsons, 
Andrew Patzman and wife Michele, John Patzman, and Torbin Bullock; 
brother, Robert W. Johnson and wife Charlotte; brother-in-law, Donald 
Jelmeland; nieces, Kim Voller, Janet Crouch, Donna Soderstrom; and 
nephews, Kermit Jelmeland, Curtis Jelmeland, Robert M.A. Johnson, James 
Johnson, Steve Johnson and Sanford Johnson.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Lucille Jelmeland of 
Anoka.

Dale F. Olson
Funeral services for Dale F. Olson, 75, Coon Rapids, took place May 4 at 
Thurston-Lindberg Chapel, Anoka. Rev. Norm Berg officiated.
Olson died April 25 in San Diego, Calif. He was born Aug. 31, 1925 in 
Princeton to Porter A. and Alvetta Young Olson. He was a veteran of World 
War II serving in the U.S. Navy and was a retired blocklayer.
He is survived by his sons, Michael (Dawn) Olson of South Dakota, Timothy 
Olson of Anoka; daughters, Sherry Olson of Crystal, Kathleen (Chuck) 
Thomas of California; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; 
mother, Alvetta Olson of Anoka; brothers, Odean Olson of Anoka, LeRoy 
(Patricia) Olson of Coon Rapids, Ronald (Carla) Olson of Coon Rapids; 
sisters, Lynn Olson of Minnetonka, Edna (Doug) Englund of Florida, Beulah 
(Pat ) Gallagher of Cedar; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean; father, Porter Olson; 
granddaughters, Christine and Beth; grandson, Jeremiah; brothers, Thomas 
and Phillip; and sister, Alice Boucher.
Pallbearers were LeRoy, Michael, Jr., Ronald and Randy Olson, Ricky 
Brodala and Patrick Gallagher.

Ione S. Schreiner
Funeral services for Ione S. Schreiner, 80, Anoka, took place April 31 at

Schreiner died April 27 at Fridley Convalescent Home. She was born Oct. 
24, 1919 in Minneapolis to John C. and Rosella S. Lawrence Schreiner. She 
was retired from Lake Street Sash and Door Company.
She is survived by her cousins; and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Merceline Winch.
Interment was at Hillside Cemetery, Minneapolis. Arrangements were by 
Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home.

Ivy M. Shaw
Funeral services for Ivy M. Shaw, 95, Cambridge, formerly of Anoka, took 
place May 2 at Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, Anoka. Rev. Robert Venneman 
officiated.
Shaw died April 26 at Cambridge Medical Center. She was born Sept. 5, 1904 
in Anoka to Eugene McLaughlin and May Levensky.
She is survived by her sons, Lawrence Shaw and wife Hazel of Ramsey, 
Norman Shaw and wife Sandra of Cambridge; daughter, Eleanor Galdek and 
husband Richard of Hinckley; seven grandchildren and three 
great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Burton A. Shaw.

Richard Galdek.

Daniel J. Van Hout Jr.
Funeral services for Daniel Joseph Van Hout, Jr., 62, Andover, took place

Van Hout died April 23 in Andover. He was born Sept. 2, 1937 in Ortonville 
and was a truck driver.
He is survived by his wife, Christal; children, Dan and wife Christine, 
Darnell Hildebrand and husband William, and Dennis; grandchildren, Dan 
III, Cayla, Beckie, Billie and Bobby; brother, Donald and wife Arvene; and 
other relatives and friends.

Lily Donovan
Private family services took place for Lily Sophie Catherine Donovan, Coon 
Rapids. 
She died at birth at Feb. 23 at Fairview Riverside Medical Center.
She is survived by her parents, Brian and Sarah; brother, Bailey, all of 
Coon Rapids; grandparents, Kenny and Elizabeth Sjulstad of Champlin,

Robin R. Glanz
Funeral services for Robin R. Glanz, 50, Blaine, took place Feb. 26 at 
Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids. Rev. Grant Tanner officiated.
Glanz died Feb. 22 in Coon Rapids. He was born June 24, 1949 in Vallejo, 
Calif., and was a service technician in the insurance industry.
He is survived by his wife, Cheryl; children, Stephanie (Rafael) Vasquez, 
Jarrett and Brianna; grandchildren, Christian and Edwin; brother, Kenneth 
Glanz; and other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers were Donnie Swanson, Andy Vorness, Wayne Nelson, Bill Stutz, 
Robert Henegar, Richard Curran and the United States Marine Corps.
Interment was at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Arrangements were by

Vernell J. Hentz
Funeral services for Vernell Joseph “Vern” Hentz, 68, Coon Rapids, took 
place Feb. 24 at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Rev. John O’Hara 
officiated.
Hentz died Feb. 21 in Spring Lake Park. He was born Feb. 2, 1932 in White 
Rock, S.D., to Joseph Hentz and Rose King. He worked in maintenance at 
Paper Calmenson, and served in the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Connie and Dan Dayton, 
Tracy and Barry Malm; son, Scott; grandchildren, Mitch, Matthew, Megan, 
Jennifer, Amanda and Faith; and great-grandchildren, Dulcia and Eponine.
He was preceded in death by his wife, LaRaine.
Pallbearers were Scott Hentz, Mitch and Matthew Lamb, Bobby and Pat 
Fitzgerald, and Vince Kurkowski.
Interment was at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Arrangements were by 
Gearhart Coon Rapids Funeral Chapel.

Lavaun Kondrak
Funeral services for Lavaun M. Kondrak, 64, Coon Rapids, took place Feb. 
28 at Epiphany Catholic Church, Coon Rapids. Rev. Bernard Reiser 
officiated.
Kondrak died Feb, 25 at Fridley Convalescent Center. She was born July 18, 
1935 in Minneapolis to Walter G. Sr. and Anna E. Brummund Webinger.
She is survived by her husband, Don; daughters, Cheryl Gotsch and husband 
Scott, Angela Westphall and husband Joel; grandchildren, Michelle, Andrew 
and Porter; sisters, Vianna Hagen and husband, Mark, Rita Schultz and 
husband Ed, Betty Evans and husband Don, Helene Walters, Sandra Fredrikson 
and husband Don; brothers, Walter Webinger, Jr. and wife Lucille, Lawrence 
Webinger and wife Jan, Roger Webinger and wife Sue, Robert Webinger, Sr.; 
and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter Sr. and Anna Webinger; 
and grandson, Donny Rosenow, Jr.
Pallbearers were Danny Webinger, Aaron Fredrikson, Joe Walters, Joe and 
Ted Jr. Kondrak, and Scott Strandberg.

Selma O. Kragerud
Funeral services for Selma O. Kragerud, 77, Coon Rapids, took place Feb. 
28 at Peace Lutheran Church, Coon Rapids. Rev. Kenneth DeFor officiated.
Kragerud died Feb. 23 in Coon Rapids. She was born March 21, 1922 in 
Brooten. She was self-employed.
She is survived by her daughters, Mavis (Ron) Fluegge, Connie (Joe) 
Cardinal; son, Douglas; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two 
sisters; and two brothers.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford; one sister; and seven 
brothers.
Pallbearers were Greg and Loren Alsaker, Dennis, Dervin and Roiger 
Amundson, and Leslie Proefrock.
Interment was at Glenwood Lutheran Cemetery. Arrangements were by

Richard Larson
Memorial services for Richard “Dickie” Larson, 46, Coon Rapids, took place 
Feb. 23 at Gearhart Coon Rapids Funeral Chapel. Rev. DeFor officiated.
Larson died Feb. 18 in Coon Rapids. He was born Oct. 28, 1953 to Melvin 
Larson and Hulda Abel. He was a welder.
He is survived by his daughters, Keona and Rikki; parents, Melvin and 
Hulda; brothers, Monroe (Peggy), Wayne (Rosemary), Gene (Libbie), Allen 
(Charleen), Ron (Pat), Dennis and Rodger (Cathy); sisters, Lorraine and 
Cindy (Rich); and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Clint and Melvin, Jr.

Erna A. Lincoln
Funeral services for Erna A. Lincoln, 92, Anoka, took place Feb. 29 at Mt. 
Olive Lutheran Church, Anoka. Rev. Norbert Streufert officiated.
Lincoln died Feb., 25 at the Anoka Good Samaritan Center. She was born 
Sept. 2, 1907 in Wausau, Wis., to Theodore Zimmerman and Anna Whelitz.
She is survived by her sons, Robert, David and wife Ruthanne; daughters, 
Donna Joan Lincoln, Bonnie Lincoln, Erna Jean Weekley and husband Robert, 
Mary Ann Dayon; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and sister, 
Anna Schlueter.
She was preceded in death by her husband Leland; and seven brothers and 
sisters.
Pallbearers were Mark and Thomas Lincoln, Brian, Michael and Scott 
Weekley, and Robert Dayon.
Interment was at Forest Hill Cemetery, Anoka. Arrangements were by

Marcella Ostendorf
Funeral services for Marcella H. Ostendorf, 74, Coon Rapids, took place 
March 1 at St. Timothy’s Catholic Church, Blaine. 
Ostendorf died Feb. 28 in Fridley. She was born April 30, 1925 in Stearns 
County to Henry Heinen and Elizabeth Pepping.
She is survived by her husband, Clarence; daughters, Sue, Connie, 
Margaret, Renee, Carmen, Carla; sons, Warren, Roland, Greg; 18 
grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother, Harvey; sisters, Verena, 
Florence, Evelyn, Janette, Lordine, Millie; numerous nieces and nephews; 
and other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers were Steve Larson, Del Theison, Scott Libby, Lenny Kroska, 
Arlo Cook, and Mark Silbernagel.

Ruth L. Ridge
Funeral services for Ruth L. Ridge, 75, Coon Rapids, will take place today 
(Friday, March 3) at Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, Anoka. Rev. Jan L. 
Follett will officiate.
Ridge died Feb. 26 at her home. She was born March 17, 1924 in Eunice, 
La., to Raymond and Lorraine LeDoux.
She is survived by her husband, Russell; children, Russ Jr. and wife 
Dorothy, Linda Mord and Jane, Patricia Riley, Lloyd, Darrell and wife 
Barbara; 15 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; sister, Esther Ballas; 
brother, Ray LeDoux and wife Gail; and aunt, Ethel Johnson.
Pallbearers are Jeff Eder, Marty Lien, Russ Lundgren, and Connie, Randy 
and Jeremy Ridge. Honorary pallbearer is Chad Tomlinson.

Edward W. Saarela
Funeral services for Edward W. Saarela, 67, Blaine, took place Feb. 25 at 
Methven-Taylor Funeral Home, Blaine Chapel. Rev. Liane Rock officiated.
Saarela died Feb. 22 in Falcon Heights. He was born Dec. 11, 1932 in 
Minneapolis to William and Sadie Saarela. He recently retired from 
Assurance Manufacturing.
He is survived by his wife, Linda; sons, Edward, Jr. (Sharon), William 
(Darla), Timothy, Gerald (Tina); seven grandchildren; one 
great-grandchild; sisters, Doris Nelson, Irene Maki (Donald); brother, 
Kenneth; and numerous friends and relatives, Edward Marjamaa and Robert E. 
Ritter.
Pallbearers were Edward Jr., William, Timothy and Gerald Saarela.

Warren M. Sparks
Funeral services for Warren M. Sparks, 89, Anoka, took place Feb. 25 at 
St. Stephen’s Catholic Church, Anoka. Rev. Bill Deziel officiated.
Sparks died Feb. 21 at Mercy Hospital He was born May 13, 1910 in Lincoln, 
Ill., to Charles and Mary E. Maltby Sparks. He was a veteran of World War 
II.
He is survived by his wife Marie; sons, William (Mary) Sparks of Michigan, 
Richard Martie) Sparks of Las Vegas, Nev., John (Kathy) Sparks of Anoka; 
daughter, Beth (Al) Feng Sparks of New Mexico; grandsons, William Sparks 
and John and Patrick Stodola; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces 
and nephews.
Pallbearers were Bill, Dick, and Bill Jr. Sparks, and John and Patrick 
Stodola.

Zola L. Tripe
Funeral services for Zola Lucile Tripe, 81, Coon Rapids, took place Feb. 
28 at Methven-Taylor Funeral Home. Rev. Grant Tanner and Ken Reiners

Tripe died Feb. 23. She was born Oct. 13, 1918 in Des Moines, Iowa, to 
Lewis and Lucile Ross. She was a member of the Andover Lioness Club.
She is survived by sisters, Carma Johnson of Tomball, Texas, Glois Gilbert 
of Des Moines, Iowa; daughter, Sharon (Verlon) Robinson of Andover; 
grandchildren, Brenda (Darrell) Ridge of Circle Pines, Brian (Barbara) 
Robinson of Ham Lake, Bradley (Julie) Robinson of Fridley; and 
great-grandchildren, Dana, Megan and Tyler.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters; one brother; and 
husband, Paul.
Interment was at Lakeport Cemetery, LaPorte. Arrangements were by
