(Maury) Johnson, 88, Kansas City, Mo., formerly of Anoka and Ramsey. Johnson died April 30 at his home. He was born Dec. 4, 1911 in Anoka to Allen D.W. and Nora Bergslien Johnson. He grew up on the family farm in Ramsey and graduated from Anoka High School, then earned a journalism degree from the University of Minnesota, where he played football on the team that was the 1934 national champion. He moved to Kansas City to join the staff of the Southwestern Miller, a publication serving the milling industry, then became executive vice president of the Staley Milling Company, Kansas City, in 1945. From 1960-67, he was executive vice president of the First National Bank of Kansas City, before moving to Louisville, Ky., to assume the presidency and subsequently chairman of the board of then Citizens Fidelity Bank, now PNC Bank Louisville. He retired as chairman of the board in 1977. He is survived by his wife, Kathryn; daughters, Sandra Patzman and husband David, Martha Johnson, and Nancy Bullock and husband Tom; grandsons, Andrew Patzman and wife Michele, John Patzman, and Torbin Bullock; brother, Robert W.
