Ellenor L. Amundson
Funeral services for Ellenor L. Amundson, 79, Anoka, will take place today 
(Friday, Jan. 26), 11 a.m., at Anoka Covenant Church. Rev. Ted Nordlund 
will officiate.
Anderson died at her home Jan. 21. She was born Feb. 5, 1921 in Burns 
Township to John F. and Elizabeth L. (McNitt) Keen. She was a retired cook 
at Park Center High School.
She is survived by her sons, Mike of Osseo, Dennis and wife Julie of 
Anoka; grandchildren, Sarah, Katie, Andrea, Robert and Ryan; and sister, 
Violet Smith of Coon Rapids.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sully; two brothers; and three 
sisters.
Interment will be private in the spring in Jacobson. Arrangements are by 
Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, Anoka.

Ronald B. Anderson
Ronald B. Anderson, 54, Ramsey, died Jan. 19 at his home. He was born Aug. 
25, 1946 in Chisholm to Raymond Anderson and Vida Dickson. He was a 
transmission technician and North Country Ford.
He is survived by his wife, Judy; son, Kevin and friend Laura; mother, 
Vida Anderson; one niece; one nephew; and many other relatives and 
friends.
He was preceded in death by his Raymond; and brother, Charles.
Interment was private. Arrangements were by Thurston-Lindberg Funeral 
Home, Anoka.

Phyllis Brown
Funeral services for Phyllis Brown, 70, Coon Rapids, took place Jan. 19 at 
Epiphany Catholic Church, Coon Rapids. Rev. Bernard A. Reiser officiated.
Brown died Jan. 16 in Coon Rapids. She was born Feb. 25, 1930 in 
Minneapolis, and was a retired 22-year employee of Federal Cartridge.
She is survived by her husband, James; children, Pamela Van Vleet (fiance 
Mark Wierlund), Laurie Inderlee (Rick Moran), Paula Dennie (fiance James 
Nau) Jennifer Garalla (Al Belisle), and Todd (Michelle) Dennie; 
stepchildren, Maria (Roger) Berg, Clyde Brown, James (Katie) Brown, and 
Raymond Brown; 16 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; many nieces and 
nephews; and family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Vera; three sisters; and 
one brother.
Pallbearers were James Nau, Mark Wicklund, Rick Moran, Roger Berg, Raymond 
Brown and Al Belisle.
Interment was at Epiphany Cemetery, Coon Rapids. Arrangements were by 
Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids.

Esther T. Chapman
Funeral services for Esther T. Chapman, 81, Anoka, took place Jan. 22 at 
Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, Anoka. Rev. Russell L. Schmidt officiated.
Chapman died Jan. 18 at Lynwood Health Care Center, Fridley. She was born 
Jan. 16, 1920 in Johnstown, Wis., to Theodore Haase and Lena Nass. She was 
a World War II veteran.
She is survived by her sons, Norman, Dean and wife Marcia, Mark and wife 
Barb, Calvin, Warren; grandchildren, Ian, Matthew, Denelle, Mallory and 
Nicholas; two sisters; three brothers; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Maurice.
Interment was at Highview Cemetery, Milwaukee, Wis. Arrangements were by 
Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, Anoka.

James Warren Elmer
Funeral services for James Warren Elmer, 68, Burns Township, took place 
Jan. 18 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Nowthen. Rev. Bill Pieper 
officiated.
Elmer died Jan. 15 at the Minnesota Veterans Home. He was born June 6, 
1932 in Minneapolis to Joseph Elmer and Evelyn Peterson. He served in the 
U.S. Army and was a machine technician.
He is survived by his sons, James W. (Trudy) Elmer of White Bear Lake, 
Brian A. (Patty) Elmer of Elk River, Robert M. Elmer of Andover; and 
daughter, Debra J. (Gary) Guerin of Bloomington.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred; mother, Evelyn Lindstrom; 
and sister, Patty Minehine.
Pallbearers were Russel Hanson, Donald Ege, Megan and Travis Elmer, and 
Lindsey and Wade Guerin.
Interment was at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Nowthen. Arrangements were by 
Dare’s Funeral Service, Elk River.

Larry Fischer
Funeral services for Larry Fischer, 66, Andover, took place Jan. 20 at St. 
Timothy’s Church, Blaine. Rev. George Kolath officiated.
Fischer died Jan. 15 in Andover. He was born Nov. 10, 1934 in Mount 
Carmel, N.D. He was employed in construction.
He is survived by his wife, Judy; sons, Rob (Lesley), Todd (Lori); 
daughters, Patti (Ernie) Kroll, Cindy (Joe) Rollin; grandchildren, Ryan, 
Shawn, Justin, Andy, Dallas, Brianna, Chris, Jacob, Rob, Keith, Ashley, 
Jeanne; brothers, Duane (Betty), Luvern (Janette), Mark, Harvey (Denise), 
Kevin (Lupe), Don (Dotty), Wesley (Ellen), Dennis (Kay), Jerry (Mary 
Helen) and Paul (Linda); sister and brother-in-law, Darlene and Dick 
Claffin; and sister-in-law, Mary.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Adolph and Anna; brother, Clair; 
and sister-in-law, Bonnie Fischer.

Coleen Alana Hegvik
Funeral services for Coleen Alana Hegvik, 70, Blaine, took place Jan. 20 
at the Jesus Christ of the Latter-Day Saints, Anoka. Bishop Andrew 
Knighton officiated.
Hegvik died Jan. 16 in Maplewood. She was born June 4, 1930 in Kenyon and 
worked in real estate sales.
She is survived by her husband, Jim; children, Janet (Andrew), Jon (Lynn 
Marie), Jay (Terri), Judd (Julie), Joal (Jamie) and Jeremy (Barbara); 
brothers, David and Bryce; sister, Sandy; 14 grandchildren; and one 
great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Glady and Iroll Skaar.
Pallbearers were Janet Morse-Hegvik, and Jon, Jay, Judd, Joal and Jeremy 
Hegvik.
Interment was at Morningside Memorial Gardens, Coon Rapids. Arrangements

Laura M. Koetke
Laura M. Koetke, 84, died Jan. 20 at Camilia Rose Convalescent Center, 
Coon Rapids. She was born Dec. 17, 1917 in Wheeler, Ind., to Septimous H. 
and Susan J. (Lowe) Conley and was a retired registered nurse.
She is survived by her husband, Norman; son, George Koetke; daughters, 
Linda Todd and Susan Klotz; and other family and friends.
Interment was in Indiana. Arrangements were by Thurston-Lindberg Funeral 
Home, Anoka.

Nancy Kristof
Funeral services for Nancy Kristof, 53, Coon Rapids, took place Jan. 24 at 
Methven-Taylor Funeral Home, Anoka.
Kristof died Jan. 21. She was born May 19, 1947 to Paul and Dora Sanitate. 
She was an antique dealer.
She is survived by her husband, Dezso; sons, Stephen and Craig; parents, 
Paul and Dora Sanitate; brothers, Gary and Alan Sanitate; sisters, 
Patricia (Rick) Hatton and Barbara (Ed) Kline; nieces and nephews; and 
other relatives and friends.

Curtis M. Kummala
Funeral services for Curtis S. Kummala, 49, Ramsey, took place Jan. 19 at 
Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Anoka. J. Bird Holt presided.
Kummala died Jan. 15 at the VA Medical Center, Minneapolis. He was born 
Oct. 31, 1951 in Park Rapids to Alex and Effie L. (Ariola) Kummala. 
He is survived by his wife, Judy; children, Donovan (Wendy) Kummala of 
Ramsey; Nicole Kummala of Anoka, Kyle Kummala of Ramsey, JoDell Kummala of 
Utah, Kayleigh Kummala of Ramsey; granddaughter, Kayla; two brothers; six 
sisters; and nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Gene Suvanto, Tony Arellano, Terry Armstrong, Kris 
Petersen, and Donovan and Kyle Kummala.
Interment was at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Arrangements were by

Joyce C. Lian
Funeral services for Joyce C. Lian, 54, Blaine, took place Jan. 24 at 
Peace Lutheran Church, Coon Rapids. Rev. Heather Tenue officiated.
Lian died Jan. 18, in Blaine. She was born July 2, 1946 in Wakefield, 
Mich. She was a lab technician.
She is survived by her husband, Keith; daughters, Michelle (Kevin), Nicole 
(Luke); mother, Helen Reinecke; sister, Gudrun Boyd (Ron); and many family 
and friends.
Pallbearers were Mike Riedel, Rick St. John, Kurt Bratile, Kevin 
Lian-Anderson, Luke Utting, and Dean Olander. Honorary pallbearer was 
Lorri Riedel.
Interment was at Morningside Memorial Gardens, Coon Rapids. Arrangements

Arlene L. Miller
Funeral services for Arlene L. Miller (Jett), Apple Valley, formerly of 
Anoka, took place Jan. 18 at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church, Anoka. Rev. Dennis 
Heiden officiated.
Miller died Jan. 16 at Burnsville Ridges Hospital. She was born March 6, 
1928 in Vesta to Charles P. Boushek and Verna H. Marquardt. She was a 
supervisor at American Hospital Supply.
She is survived by her husband, Kurt; son, Michael Jett; grandson, Michael 
Antonio; stepchildren, Karen Miller, Kristen Unger, and Robert Miller; 
brothers, Harlan Boushek (Joan) of Alexandria, and Leon Boushek (Judi) of 
Ramsey; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Myrl Jett; son, Ronald 
Jett; and her parents.
Pallbearers were Randy, Rick Mike and Charlie Boushek, Jesse Jett Jr., and 
Nick Norman.
Interment was at Morningside Memorial Gardens, Coon Rapids. Arrangements

Betty J. Morton
Funeral services for Betty J. Morton, 74, Lincoln, Neb., took place Jan. 
20 at Temple Baptist Church, Lincoln. Rev. David A. Peterson officiated.
Morton died Jan. 17. 
She is survived by her husband, Harvey Morton, of Lincoln; son, Rev. 
Robert and Joannie Morton, of Anoka; grandchildren, Andrew, Amber and 
Angela Morton; sister, Jeanne and Lloyd Weers, of Gresham, Neb.; and 
numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lionel Delbert and Nellie 
(Millington) Dunham; and twin brother, Bennie Dunham.
Pallbearers were Willard and Kevin Frey, Scott Cunning, Nathan Wilkinson, 
Andrew Morton and Larry Olson.

Mary K. Rehmann
Funeral services for Mary Kathleen Rehmann, 58, Anoka, will take place 
today (Friday, Jan. 26), 11 a.m., at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church, Anoka.
Rehmann died Jan. 23 at her home in Anoka. A former nurse, she was the 
founder and sole proprietor of the Uniformly Perfect stores.  
She is survived by her husband, Dr. Ronald E. Rehmann; daughters, Julie 
(David) Pribyl and Michelle (Joe) Tolod; son, Matt; grandchildren, Jack, 
Anna, Tommy, Cate; and many other family members and friends.
Arrangements are by Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, Anoka.

Victoria Isabel Stack
Funeral services for Victoria Isabel Stack, 83,Anoka, took place Jan. 20 
at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church, Anoka. Rev. Bill Deziel officiated.
Stack died at Mercy Hospital. She was born Feb. 25, 1917 in Minneapolis to 
Jacobus Zajac and Anna Bogunia.
She is survived by her daughter, Alice Stack; sisters-in-law, Mary Russell 
and Catherine Wredberg; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald; sisters, Kay Quigley, 
Caroline Slatoski and Dorothy Polak; stepbrother, Bill Sikora; and 
stepsister, Genevieve Gulezinski.
Pallbearers were John Ottenstroer, Irwin Russell, Dennis and Larry 
Quigley, Tom Slatoski and Jeff Luedtke.
Interment was at Calvary Cemetery, Anoka. Arrangements were by

Harvey F. Youso
Funeral services for Harvey F. Youso, 67, Anoka, took place Jan. 20 at St. 
Stephen’s Catholic Church, Anoka. Rev. Mike VanSloun officiated.
Youso died Jan. 17 at Mercy Hospital. He was born June 16, 1933, and was a 
retired printer with ABC Newspapers, where he worked for more than 35 
years. He was shop foreman at the time of his retirement.
He is survived by his wife, Donna; children, Michael (Julie), Mary Jo, 
Paul, Peter, Jackie (Mark) Jensen; grandchildren, Andy, David; mother, 
Dorothy; brother, (Frank (Linda) Youso; and sisters, Lorraine (Alvin) 
Novak, Dorothy (Chuck) Zimmerman and Karen (Reuben) Youso.
Pallbearers were Harvey Korte, Reuben Richardson, Chuck Zimmerman, Brad 
Reid, Brad Novak and Allen Kosloski.
Interment was at Calvary Cemetery, Anoka. Arrangements were by

Jeremy Cross
Funeral services for Jeremy Joseph Cross, 29, Lexington, took place Feb. 
11 at Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids. Rev. Marcus Mork 
officiated.
Cross died Feb,. 8 in Minneapolis. He was born April 24, 1971 in Virginia 
and was a manager.
He is survived by his parents, Jack and Judy; sister, Theresa Cross; 
brothers, Dale Cross and Clayton Schroeder; nieces and nephews; and many 
friends.
Arrangements were by Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel.
Ralph R. Elofson
Ralph R. Elofson, 79, Clearwater, Fla., formerly of Anoka, died Jan. 31.
He was the former owner of Oak Terrace Estates mobile home park in Anoka 
and a former member of the VFW and American Legion.
He is survived by his wife, Doris; sons, Randy (Donna) and Todd (Carrie), 
both of Ramsey; daughter, Kari Zapanni (Dan ) of Indian Rocks Beach, Fla.; 
and five grandchildren.
Interment was in Clearwater.
Melva Hirsch
Funeral services for Melva Hirsch, 86, Coon Rapids, took place Feb. 15 at 
Faith Lutheran Church, Coon Rapids. Rev. james Donald officiated.
Hirsch died Feb. 5 in Coon Rapids. She was born April 15, 1914 in 
Springfield.
She is survived by her son, Steve and wife Beth of Cape Coral, Fla.; 
daughter, Carolyn and husband Tim of Coon Rapids; grandchildren, Michael 
Hirsch, Stephen Alm and wife Claudia, Rebekah Lundeen and husband Dale; 
and great-grandchildren, Mackenzie, Madigon and Jacob.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Greg.

Coon Rapids.
Kenneth Kuusisto
Funeral services for Kenneth Kuusisto, 55, Glenwood, took place Feb. 5 at 
St. Timothy’s Catholic Church, Blaine. Rev. George Kolath officiated.
Kuusisto died Feb. 2 in Coon Rapids. He was born July 13, 1945 in Chippewa 
Falls, Wis., and was a longtime employee of M.A. Mortenson Construction of 
Minneapolis.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; daughter, Kim Paddock and husband 
Mark; son, Kory and wife Sarah; stepson, Dean Thoennes (Jen); 
stepdaughters, Vicky and LeAnn Thoennes; brother, Robert and wife Debra; 
sisters, Mary Kuusisto and Barbara Mees; grandsons, Eric, Adam, Garrett, 
Tyler and Zachary and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Interment was private. Arrangements were by Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, 
Coon Rapids.
Jeanette McCall
Funeral services for Jeanette Marie McCall, 86, Marshall, Va., will take 
place at a later date.
McCall died Feb. 9 at Warrenton Overlook Center, Warrenton, Va. She was 
born Dec. 16, 1914 in Mankato to the late Richard A. and Ida Baumann 
McCall.
She is survived by her daughter, Gail M. Jaffery of Marshall, Va.; son, 
Kenneth L. McCall of Pitts Ford, N.Y.; five grandchildren; and three 
great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Archie L. McCall.

Lynn H. Miller
Funeral services for Lynn H. Miller, 55, Anoka, took place Feb. 8 at 
Trinity Lutheran Church. Rev. J.R. Baumgarn officiated.
Miller died Feb. 4 at Fairview University Medical Center, Minneapolis. He 
was born Feb. 19, 1945 in Duluth to Ivan C. and Lillian H. (Schmidt) 
Miller. He was an eighth-grade science teacher at Jackson Middle School.
He is survived by his wife, Susan; daughter, Kara Miller; and brothers, 
Ivan and wife Darlene of Traverse City, Mich., and Terrance and wife 
Barbara of Seattle, Wash.
Pallbearers were Dale Emmans, Tom Yurek, Jerry Herman, Dick and John Gran, 
and Monte Fjosne.
Interment was at West Branch Cemetery, Kettle River. Arrangements were by

Francis J. Mitteness
Funeral services for Francis J. “Frank” Mitteness, 60, Anoka, took place 
Feb. 7 at Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, Anoka. Rev. Ron Thompson 
officiated.
Mitteness died Feb. 5 at Mercy Hospital. He was born March 19, 1940 in 
Holloway to Severt and Clarissa A. (Hughes) Mitteness.
He is survived by his son, Troy of Minnetonka; brother, William (Sharon) 
of Benson; sister-in-law, Shirley of Benson; and special friend, Margie 
Bragelman and her son, Scott Gulbranson, both of Anoka.
He was preceded in death by his son, Daron; parents, Severt and Clarissa; 
brother, Joseph; and sister, Patricia.

Claire E. Ruen
Funeral services for Claire E. Ruen, 95, Minneapolis, took place Feb. 15 
at Servant of Life Lutheran Church, Champlin.
Ruen died Feb. 8 in Minneapolis. She was born March 5, 1905 in Parkers 
Prairie to Ole P. Olson and Bessie Hansen. She was a retired restaurant 
owner.
She is survived by her son, Robert Burger; grandsons, John Burger (Laura); 
and great-grandsons, Robert and Jack Burger.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Otto.

Richard Sabourin
Funeral services for Richard Sabourin, 75, Anoka, took place Feb. 12 at

Sabourin died Feb. 8 in Anoka. He was born Jan. 28, 1926 in Minneapolis 
and was employed in maintenance.
He is survived by his children, Gary Sabourin, Celeste Rouse (Edward); 
grandchildren, Rachael, Heather, Kimberly; great-grandchildren, Rico, 
Shanelle, Ashley, Stephon, Kiarra, Camron Jr., and Salena; brother, Robert 
(Alta) Sabourin; brother-in-law, Grover Shearer (Marion); and many friends 
and relatives.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce.

Albert J. Stromberg
Funeral services for Albert J. Stromberg, 57, Anoka, took place Feb. 9 at 
Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, Anoka. Rev. Liane Rock officiated.
Stromberg died Feb. 4 in Unity Hospital. He was born April 2, 1943 in Elk 
River to John O. Stromberg and Margaret L. Schaum. He was a retired steel 
mill worker.
He is survived by many friends.
Interment was at Lakeview Cemetery, Nowthen. Arrangements were by

Keith White Sr.
Funeral services for Keith White Sr., 55, Coon Rapids, took place Feb. 12 
at Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids.
White died Feb. 8 in St. Paul. he was born April 5, 1945 in Portland, 
Ore., and was a machinist.
He is survived by his mother, Susan Dyrdahl; children, Kelly (Eddie) 
Mickelson, Karen White, Keith White Jr.; grandchildren, Kassie, Jenissa, 
Blake Mickelson; and many friends and other relatives.

Machelle Whiting
Funeral services for Machelle Whiting, 41, Blaine, took place Feb. 8 at 
Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids. Rev. Steve DeMars officiated.
Whiting died Feb. 2 in Blaine. She was born June 14, 1959 in Minneapolis.
She is survived by her children, Jenny, Jason, and Joy Whiting and Wendy 
Renner; grandson, Brandon; special friend, Bill Renner; father, Keith 
Keller; sister, Korrie Stitter (John); and brothers, Dave (Iris), Jamie 
and Barry Keller.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary.

Joanne R. Bro
Funeral services for Joanne R. Bro, 52, Andover, took place Feb. 6 at 
Faith Lutheran Church, Coon Rapids. Rev. James Donald officiated.
Bro died Feb. 3 at her home. She was born April 20, 1948 in Waverly, Iowa, 
to Gerhard Reints and Dorothy Courbat. She was an English teacher at Fred 
Moore Middle School.
She is survived by her husband, Richard; sons, Steven; daughter, Emily; 
parents, Gerhard and Dorothy Reints; and sister, Gayle Simpson.
Pallbearers were Jim Huff, Scott Bonfig, Tom Stevens, Eric Sohr, Larry 
Culp and Ray Wirz.
Interment was at Forest Hill Cemetery, Anoka. Arrangements were by

Joseph Herrmann
Funeral services for Joseph “Larry” Herrmann, 53, Coon Rapids, took place 
Feb. 6 at Epiphany Catholic Church, Coon Rapids. Rev. Bernard A. Reiser 
officiated.
Herrmann died Jan. 28 in Coon Rapids. He was born Dec. 20, 1947 in 
Chicago, Ill. He was an automotive partsman and a longtime member of the 
Vietnam Veterans of America.
He is survived by his wife, Judy; son, Michael (Rebecca); daughter, Kelly; 
parents, Joseph and Bernie; and nieces, nephews, family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Barbara Hadesh; and his 
grandparents.
Pallbearers were Jeff and Otis Shudlick, Richard Kubesh, Larry Berg and 
Jim Costello.
Interment was at Morningside Memorial Gardens, Coon Rapids. Arrangements

Richard Hansen
Funeral services for Richard Hansen, 57, Coon Rapids, took place Feb. 3 at 
Osakis Lutheran Church.
Hansen died Jan. 28. He was born Aug. 25, 1943 to Norman and Ruth Hansen. 
He was a mail processor with the U.S. Post Office, and a 17-year member of 
the Coon Rapids American Legion.
He is survived by his wife, Marlene; children, Michael and Rebecca and 
their spouses; three grandchildren; brother, William Hansen; and a niece 
and nephew.
Interment was at Osakis Lutheran Church Cemetery. Arrangements were by

John T. Ingrassia
Funeral services for John T. Ingrassia, 76, Anoka, took place Feb. 5 at 
St. Stephen’s Catholic Church, Anoka. Rev. Adrian Piotrowski officiated.
Ingrassia died at his home on Feb. 2. He was born May 30, 1924 in Peoria, 
Ill., to Lucas and Frances (Castronova) Ingrassia. He was a veteran of the 
U.S. Army in World War II and was supervisor in the life and health 
division of the Minnesota Department of Commerce.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara; sons, Phillip (Jill) of Virginia, 
John (Sara) and Lee (Nancy), all of Maple Grove, Robert (Lida) of New York 
City; granddaughter, Kaylee Anne; brother, Mario (Janet) and 
brother-in-law, Dale Kimberlin, all of Illinois; and sister-in-law, Diane 
Ingrassia of Wisconsin.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Anne Frances; parents, Lucas and 
Frances; brother, Russell; and sister, Annette.
Pallbearers were his sons, Philip, John, Lee and Robert Ingrassia.
Interment was at Calvary Cemetery, Anoka. Arrangements were by 
Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, Anoka.

Nancy Janes
Funeral services for Nancy Janes, 60, Coon Rapids, took place Feb. 5 at 
Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids. Rev. Marcus Mork officiated.
Janes died Jan. 31 in Minneapolis. She was born Sept. 30, 1040 in Liberty 
Township, Mo., and was a project manager at Control Data (SMD), where she 
was a 26-year employee.
She is survived by her partner, Jerry Hambrick; children, Terry Janes, 
Tracy Ridout, Ted (Beth) Janes; grandchildren, Jessica, Amy, Jacob, 
Nicholas and Emily; mother, Wilburn Sadler; sister, Myrna Kellig; and 
former husband, Denny.
She was preceded in death by her father, Marcus Sadler.
Interment was at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Arrangements were by 
Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel.

Naomi M. Kellner
Funeral services for Naomi M. Kellner, 79, Blaine, took place Jan. 31 at 
Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids. Revs. David Barrett and David 
Shepherd officiated.
Kellner died Jan. 27 in Fridley. She was born Sept. 6, 1921.
She is survived by her children, Alyne Koerschen, Kathleen Decheine, 
Alfred P. Kellner, and Kurt (Janice) Kellner; eight grandchildren; 15 
great-grandchildren; and brother, Bernard (Marvel) Peterson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred.
Pallbearers were Brett, David and Steven Decheine, Keith Kellner, Jamie 
Chatelle and Jason Lloyd.
Interment was at Morningside Memorial Gardens, Coon Rapids. Arrangements 
were by Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel.

Dolores E. Pierce
Funeral services for Dolores E. Pierce, 91, Anoka, took place Feb. 8 at 
Anoka United Methodist Church. Rev. Kenneth Rice officiated.
Pierce died Feb. 4 at Unity Hospital. She was born in Crookston on May 17, 
1909.
She is survived by her son, Paul (Winness) Pierce Jr., of Anoka; 
daughters, Joy (Loren) Hannan of Missouri, Burnetta (Gary) Lien of Coon 
Rapids, Nickola (John) Becker of Anoka; companion, Wilber McDaniel of 
Anoka; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Pierce Sr.
Interment was at Pierce Cemetery, Oak Grove. Arrangements were by 
Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, Anoka.

Anna Romanchuk
Funeral services for Anna R. Romanchuk, 102, Cambridge, formerly of Anoka, 
took place Feb. 5 at Nowthen Alliance Church. Rev. Robert M. Morton 
officiated.
Romanchuk died Feb. 1 at Grandview Christian Home, Cambridge. She was born 
on July 26, 1898 in Tarnopil, Ukraine, to Sylvester and Mary Richley.
She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Shirley; and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John; and son, Norman.
Pallbearers were Don and Harvey Greenberg, Joe Green, Russel Haag, Kevin 
Rundquist and Louie Wilhelmi.
Interment was at Forest Hill Cemetery, Anoka. Arrangements were by

Lois J. Scharber
Funeral services for Lois J. Scharber, 62, Bethel, took place Feb. 3 at 
Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church, East Bethel. Rev. Brian Fragodt officiated.
Scharber died Jan. 31 at Mercy Hospital. She was born Oct. 12, 1938 in 
Grand Rapids to Charles and Avis Van Dusen. She worked for 20 years at 
Federal Cartridge.
She is survived by her husband, Arne; father, Charles Van Dusen of 
Branson, Mo.; son, Stewart Van Dusen and wife Debbie of East Bethel; 
stepsons, Steve Scharber and wife Wendy of Mounds View, Richard Scharber 
of Isanti; stepdaughters, Lynnette Stewart of Lima, Mont., Donita Scharber 
of Braham, Frances Karpen and husband Mike of Maple Grove; brother, Gary 
Van Dusen and wife Nancy of Hinckley; half-brothers, Dick Vogel and wife 
Theresa of Motley, Charles Vogel of Minneapolis; sister, Grace Erickson 
and husband Dewayne of Branson, Mo.; nine grandchildren; and many other 
relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Avis Irene Van Dusen.
Pallbearers were Larry Bufford, Scott and Terry Lemke, Scott Uram, and 
Cory and Robert Van Dusen. Honorary pallbearers were Jordan and Justin Van 
Dusen.

Helois M. Thery
Funeral services for Helois M. Thery, 64,. Coon Rapids, took place Feb. 1 
at St, Timothy’s Catholic Church, Blaine. Rev. George Kolath officiated.
Thery died Jan. 29 in Coon Rapids. She was born Nov. 24, 1936 in Caledonia 
and worked for Anoka County.
She is survived by her sons, Fred of Princeton and Bruce (Pennie) of Coon 
Rapids; daughter, Michelle (Joe) Witzmann of Isanti; grandchildren, Lucas, 
Tiffany, Trevor, Joseph, Matthew and Bridget; brothers, Earl (Leah) Ryan 
of Stockton, Calif., and Bill (Margaret) Ryan of Colorado Springs, Colo.; 
and sisters, Anna Marie Henley of Springfield, Mo., Beatrice Kramer of 
Highland., Ky., Mary Kay Lethbridge of Northfield, and Patricia (Terry) 
Curran of LaCrescent.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred; parents; two brothers; and 
three sisters.
Interment was private at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Arrangements
