Anderson died Jan. 7 in Coon Rapids. She was born June 26, 1911 to Sigval 
and Emily Holton Reese.
She is survived by her daughters, Shirley Frashier (Grant) of Coleraine, 
and Cynthia Anderson of Coon Rapids; special niece, Ardith Andersen of Oak 
Park; and other nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin.

Evelyn Cartwright
Funeral services for Evelyn Elaine Cartwright, 83, St. Louis Park, will 
take place today (Friday, Jan. 19) at Gearhart Funeral Chapel, Coon 
Rapids.
Cartwright died Jan. 13. She was born in Chariton, Iowa, to George and 
Myrtle Parsons. She was a retired cook.
She is survived by her sons, LeRoy (Barbara) and Steven (Jeanne); 
grandchildren, David, Christine, Lorinda (Christopher), Andrea (Darrin) 
and Daniel; great-grandchildren, Benjamin, Theodore; brother, Guil (Sally) 
Parsons; and other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Abel.

Crane died Jan. 13 in Coon Rapids. She was born Aug. 22, 1913 in Dennison. 
She was retired from employment in housekeeping.
She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Sansone (Ed); granddaughters, 
Kimberly Sansone and Kellie McNichols (Mike); great-grandson, Nathaniel 
McNichols; brothers, Clifford and Richard Estrem; and many nieces, 
nephews, relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur; sisters, Mary Ann Bonar, 
Hazel Estrem; and brother, Lawrence Estrem.

Gray died Jan. 6. She was born in Warren, Ohio, to Gilbert and Lavian 
Rummell. She was retired from retail work.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and James Rust; son 
and daughter-in-law, Clifford and Michele Gray; grandchildren, Daniel 
Soderstrom, Nicolette Gray, Kristina Strain, Matthew Gray and Justin Gray; 
and great-grandmother, Marlah Soderstrom.
She was preceded in death by husband, Clifford Gray.

Dolores B. Herold
Funeral services for Dolores B. Herold, 93, Elk River, took place Jan. 18

Herold died Jan. 12 at Guardian Angels Nursing Home, Elk River. She was 
born July 27, 1907 in St. Paul to Bartholomew Rieger and Augusta Garrick.
She is survived by her sons, C. Warren and Michael (Jean); nine 
grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandson; and 
numerous other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence E.; son, Larry; and 
sisters, Beatrice Bies and Lorraine Tesch.

Randy David Larson
Funeral services for Randy David Larson, 30, Blaine, take place today

Larson died Jan. 14 in a snowmobile accident in Alaska. He was born Jan. 
18, 1970 in Minneapolis to Karen and Richard Larson of Blaine. He was a 
graduate of Blaine High School and worked for Ace Solid Waste.

Stoffel; brothers, Robert (Boni), Ryan (Stacie); grandmother, Pearl

1928 in Cumberland, Wis., to John and Helen M. (Cagley) Nelson.

Nellie E. Anderson

6, 1909 in Morley, Iowa, to Edward and Hazel (Strickel) Turner. She was a 
librarian for 32 years starting at the old Carnegie Library in Anoka and 
retired in 1974. She was a member of the Eastern Star and Martha Chapter 
for 62 years.

Beckman died Dec. 30 at her home. She was born May 28, 1917 in Roscoe,

operator at Federal Cartridge in Anoka.
She is survived by her children, Robert Beckman, Linda Anderson and 
husband Glen, Darlene Dahlheimer and husband Michael, Janice Shiltz and 
husband Scott, Michael M. Beckman and wife Julie; nine grandchildren; 
seven great-grandchildren; brothers, Mervin Hoffer and wife Lorraine; one

She was preceded in death by her husband, Manford; two brothers; and two

Ada Marie Gjorvad

28, 1925 in Ida Grove, Iowa, to Arthur V. and Catherine A. (Olson) Houser.

in World War II and was a member of Knights of Columbus No. 2018, Anoka, 
and the St. Stephen’s choir.
He is survived by his wife, Verleitta; sons, Joseph (Norene) Houser of 
Champlin, Timothy (Shelly) Houser of Ramsey, Michael Houser of 
Minneapolis; grandchildren, Catherine (Duane) Hall of Shakopee, Jason 
Houser of Winona, Michelle Houser of Eagan, Christopher Houser of St. Paul 
Park, Jeremiah Bormes of Fridley; and great-grandson, Mitchell Hall.

Cory Probst
Funeral services for Cory Probst, 18, Rogers, took place Jan. 2 at Zion 
Lutheran Church. Rev. Timothy Johnson officiated.
Probst died Dec. 28 in Rogers in a snowmobile accident. He was born Oct. 
7, 1982 in Long Prairie to Jerry P. Probst and Susan D. Hetland. He was a 
student at Champlin Park High School.
He is survived by his parents, Sue and Jerry Probst; grandparents, Dean 
and Bev Hetland, Lois Probst; uncles, Scott and Steve Hetland, John 
Probst; and nieces and nephews, Janessa, Shawnee, Michael, Rebecca and 
Rachel Hetland, Christopher, Joel and Seth Probst.
Pallbearers were Mike Maikkula, Chris Brabant, Joseph Dibble, Frank 
Jadwin, Patrick Simco and Robert McCurry.
Interment was at Hope Lutheran Cemetery, Eagle Bend. Arrangements were by 
Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, Anoka.

Florence Sizer
Funeral services for Florence Sizer, 76, Coon Rapids, took place Dec. 29 
at Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids. Dr. Thomas McDoll 
officiated.
Sizer died Dec. 27 in Coon Rapids. She was born April 7, 1924 in 
Minneapolis.
She is survived by her husband, Douglas D.; son, Gerry (Carol); daughters, 
Karen Herrboldt (Chet), Merrilee Jarvis (Gary); four grandchildren; three 
great-grandchildren; a large extended family, and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her son, Sheldon; and brother, Herold Buhrow.
Interment was private. Arrangements were by Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel.

Sue Ann Soderberg
Memorial services for Sue Ann Soderberg, 38, Circle Pines, took place Dec. 
29 at Presbyterian Homes of Arden Hills Chapel. Rev. Gerald Foley 
officiated.
Soderberg died Dec. 23 at her home. She was born July 21, 1952 in San 
Antonio. Texas, to Robert and Marjorie Lee. She was director of care at 
The Farmstead, Andover.
She is survived by her sons, Nels of Andover and Andrew of Circle Pines; 
parents, Robert and Marjorie Lee of Siren, Wis.; brothers, Jerr (Susie), 
John (Jeri), Sim (Claudia); grandmother, Celina; uncle, Dick; aunts, Betty 
(Paul), Mona (Harold); six nieces and nephews; and close friends, 
Roseanne, Lynn and Jill.
Interment was at Lakeview Cemetery, Siren, Wis. Arrangements were by 
Methven-Taylor Funeral Home, Blaine.

Charlotte Sunderlin
Funeral services for Charlotte Sunderlin, 84, Blaine, took place Dec. 29 
at Church of the Resurrection, Spring Lake Park. Canon John Rettger 
officiated.
Sunderlin died Dec. 26 in Fridley. She was born Oct. 30, 1916 in 
Minneapolis and owned and operated Charlotte’s Popcorn Wagon on Nicollet 
Mall for 23 years.
She is survived by her brother, Richard Sowden; daughter, Charlotte (Dean) 
Sabby; sons, James (Anne), Richard (Margaret), and Robert (Beth); 
grandchildren, Jim, Scott, Linda, Terry, Cathy, Rich, De, Darrin, Curt, 
Ben, Melissa, Shannon and Barbara; great-grandchildren, April, Jimmy, 
John, Jayce, Kolton, Kierstyn, Caitlin, Hunter, Layne, Matthew, Justin, 
Sarah, Jonothon, Jarrod, Derek and Cody; and great-greatgrandchildren, 
Alexis and Karen.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth; parents; sister, 
Phyllis; and brother, Joseph.
Interment was at Forest Hill Cemetery, Anoka. Arrangements were by 
Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids.

Jerome Tatley Sr.
Funeral services for Jerome Tatley Sr., 59, Kent, Wash., took place Jan. 3 
at Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids.
Tatley died Dec. 27 in Seattle, Wash. He was born April 13, 1941 in 
Hitterdahl. He was employed in construction.
He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer; sons, Jerry (Lousinda) and Jeff; 
grandchildren, Justin and Riley; brothers, Wallace (Ingrid), Donald 
(Darlene) and Herman (Linda); and sisters, Gladys (Shelvin) Syverson and 
Flora Rodvold.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Justin; and three brothers.
Interment was in Hitterdahl. Arrangements were Washburn-McReavy Seman 
Chapel.

John R. Weiss
Funeral services for John R. Weiss, 78, Coon Rapids, took place Dec. 27 at 
Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids. Rev. Marcus Mork officiated.
Weiss died Dec. 23 in Coon Rapids. He was born June 24, 1922 in 
Minneapolis. He was a retired railroad worker with the Soo Line Railroad.
He is survived by his sons, Steve and Larry Weiss.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Margie.
Interment was at Crystal Lake Cemetery, Minneapolis. Arrangements were by 
Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel.

Kenneth Zablocki
Funeral services for Kenneth Zablocki, 64, Blaine, took place Dec. 28 at 
St. Timothy’s Catholic Church, Blaine. Rev. Harry Tasto officiated.
Zablocki died Dec. 25 in Blaine. He was born April 15, 1936 in Alberta 
Township. He was an electronic technician with the U.S. Post Office.
He is survived by his wife, Roseann; sons, Brian (Nancy) and Daniel, both 
of Blaine; daughter, Victoria of Fridley; grandchildren, Nicholas and 
Krista; brothers, Richard (Shirley) of Little Falls, Dennis (Shiela) of 
Foley; sisters, Delphine (Sam) Cichon of Minneapolis, and Rita Hatch of 
Minneapolis; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Daniel and Leroy; and 
sister, Phyllis Funt.
Interment was at Epiphany Cemetery, Coon Rapids. Arrangements were by 
Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel.
