Miss Erma "Sue" Smith
Miss Erma "Sue" Smith, 15 year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. C.
Smith of the Brushey Creek Community was killed in a ca accident near her
home Sept. 1st.
Sue leaves many dear friends and relatives behind. She was a girl
that to know her was to love her. She made friends everywhere she went.
Sue was an outstanding member of the Jr. III class of Georgiana High
School last year. She was a very active member of the 4-H Club and won a
trip to Auburn in July. She was President of the Citizenship Club and the

helping hand, she never refused.
She was everyone's favorite in her community. She was a member of the
Brushey Creek Baptist Church, and a member of G.A.'s. She set an example for
oters. Suee took her little brothers and sisters to Sunday School most every
Sunday. She was a conscientious worker in everything she attempted.
One of Sue's classmates said Sue and William Hines were two of the most
popular students in the class and they had lost both of them. Yes, you budded
on earth to bloom in Heaven and God looked down and picked two more beautiful
roses to place in His garden up there.
