Services for Benjamin David Poole, 87, of West Bloomfield, were held

Mr. Poole was born Nov. 8, 1914 in Detroit and died June 12, 2002 at
Heartland Health Care Center in West Bloomfield. He was the owner of Pooles
Boring Company in Detroit.
He is survived by his wife, Ethel; son, David (Jean); daughter, Karen
(William) Elders; grandchildren, Jason, Lisa, Tiffani and William; great-grandson,
Nathan; and sister Martha Ingram.
LEONARD V. JOY
Services for Leonard Vincent Joy, 83, of Farmington Hills, will be held
10 a.m. Monday, June 17 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Farmington
with the Msgr. Walter Hurley officiating. Burial will take place at Glen
Eden Memorial Park in Livonia.
Mr. Joy was born Oct. 28, 1918 in Detroit and died June 12, 2002 at
Marywood Nursing Center in Livonia. He worked for the IRS for 32 years
and was a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Helen; son, James (Ruth); daughters, Nancy
(Harry) Davidson, Donna Calus, Diane Joy and Kathleen (Gary) Peters; sister,
Eleanor Nowak; brother, Dennis (Alice) Jagodzinski; and grandchildren,

Mr. Ramsay was born Oct. 19, 1921 in Detroit and died June 13, 2002

golf.

A memorial service for Enver Ragap Solomon, 76, of Southfield, will

Mrs. Perazzo was born Oct. 28, 1925 in West Bloomfield and died June
13, 2002, in Howell. She enjoyed golfing.

her first husband Marvin Longyear, second husband Angelo Perazza and son,
Fred Longyear.
KATHERINE M. WESTFALL
Services for Katherine M. Westfall, 95, of Farmington, were held June

Mrs. Westfall was born Nov. 14, 1906 in Bay City and died June 14, 2002,
at Botsford Hospital in Farmington Hills. She worked for Crowley's, Fred
Sanders, and Federal Department Store.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews including, Donna Brown,
James Driller, Nancy Verbison and David Driller; brothers, Ed and Norman
Denkhaus; and sister, Dorothy Driller. She is preceded in death by her
husband, John.

HOWARD E. DISBROW
Services for Howard Eugene Disbrow, 71, of Farmington Hills, will be

Mr. Disbrow was born Aug. 15, 1930 in Warsaw, Ind. and died June 26,

of Hagelstein's Bakeries of Royal Oak.

Mrs. Poyhonen was born June 14, 1915 in East Pepperell, Mass. and died

for Hubberston and Rutland in Massachusetts and also worked as a clerk
and secretary at Worcester State Hospital. She was a member of the Finnish
Cultural Center Association in Farmington Hills, the Dearborn Colony Club
and the Becker Alumni Association.
She is survived by her husband, Walter; sons, Mark and Kris; sister,
Mary Legacy; and five grandchildren.

Award foro Scholastic Excellence.
She is survived by her parents, Edward and Janice Bajek; sister, Sarah;

LUCILLE DUSTIN
Services for Lucille Dustin, 94, of Suttons Bay, Mich., were held July
3 at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Union City, Mich. with burial at Riverside
Cemetery in Union City.
Mrs. Dustin was born March 20, 1906 in Ida Grove, Iowa and died June
27, 2002 at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City. She was a kindergarten,
music and art teacher for 39 years in Farmington, Manchester and Fenton.
She was a leader in the Grandmother's Club of Port Charlotte and a member
of the Lutheran Church of the Cross.
She is survived by her son, Dan; daughter, Carol Husby; and grandchildren,
Chad Husby, Brock Husby, Andy Dustin and Adam Dustin. She is preceded in
death by her husband, Derby.
