Detroit, Sept. 7 (AP) - Mrs. Evangeline Lindbergh, 79, mother of the famous flyer, Charles A. Lindbergh, died today at her home in suburban
Gross Point Park.  Mrs. Lindbergh was a public school teacher here in 1927 when Lindbergh made his famous trans-Atlantic flight to Paris.  She retired in 1942.  Her husband, a former Minnesota congressman, had been dead many years.   Her only extended absence from her teaching career came late in 1928 when she took a year's leave of absence to teach at a college at Istanbul, Turkey.
