George Peters
Age 79, of Hale, formerly of Mt. Morris, died Monday November 30, 1998 at the Laurels in Mt. Pleasant. Funeral and committal service will take place 11:00 AM Thursday December 3, 1998 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home with burial in Mt. Morris Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8pm Tuesday and 12-8 pm. Memorial contributions may be directed to McLaren Hospice. George was born Nov. 23. 1919 in Mt. Morris, the son of Jesse and Freda (Schofield) Peters. He married Margaret O'Kelly June 29, 1946 in Flushing. He served in the U.S. Army during WW2 and was also a member of the Big Brothers Assoc. of Flint. He had also been very active in sports while in high school and after. George had been employed as a Baker for 44 years. He is survived by his wife Margaret, 2 Brothers, Ben and Ellen Babcock and Roy and Betty Babcock, all of Hale. Also several Nieces and Nephews. 

John McCloy Kirk
Of Fairgrove, age 81 died Sunday Nov. 29, 1998 at Bay Medical Cntr. Funeral services will be 1pm from 1st Baptist Church of Caro, 1535 Gilford. Pastor Ronald C. Wigand officiating. Burial will follow at Brookside Cemetery. Mr. Kirk will remain at the Martin Funeral Home, Fairgrove where friends may call after 1pm Tuesday. Family will be present to receive friends from 1-5pm and 7-9pm. On Wednesday morning Mr. Kirk will be taken to church to lie in state from 12pm until time of services at 1pm.. Born May 4, 1917 in Fairgrove the son of Mr. and Mrs. James and Mary (McCloy) Kirk. He and Genevieve Reid were united in marriage in Saginaw July 19, 1936. He retired 1978 from Michigan Sugar as a fieldman with 32 years service. Surviving are: wife: Genevieve daughter: Shirley and husband Keith Kowitz of Fairgrove; 2 granddaughters: Tammy and husband Jerry Fierros, Terri and husband Keith Wilson; Great great grandchildren: Benjamin Wilson and Megan Wilson; Brother: Wilson and wife Elsie Kirk; Sister: Margaret Scharich; 2 sisters-in-laws: Grace Kirk and Marion Horton; several nieces and nephews preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers: Fred Kirk, Robert Kirk, and Francis Kirk. Memorials can be made directly or at the funeral home to the 1st Baptist church of Caro. 

Agnes Fern Culbert (Moore)
Age 98, of Fairgrove and Bay City died Sunday Nov. 29 1998 at Carriage House-Bay City . Funeral Services will be 11am Wednesday from Fairgrove Presbyterian Church. Pastor Donald R. Hyer will officiate. Burial in Brookside Cemetery, Fairgrove. Mrs. Culbert will remain at Martin Funeral Home- Fairgrove where Friends may call after 2pm Tuesday. Agnes Fern Blair was born June 13, 1900 in Fairgrove Township to Isabelle and William Blair. On December 23, 1920 she married Harry Moore, who predeceased her November 13, 1971. On June 13, 1979 she married George (Duff) Culbert. He predeceased her June 13, 1988. She Leaves one daughter, Isabelle Zuehlsdorff of Bay City, three grandchildren, Cheryl Zuehlsdorff of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Gregg Zuehlsdorff of Bay City and Dr. and Mrs Gary Zuehlsdorff, great grand children Benjamin and Sarah of Denver, Colorado. She also leaves a step-daughter Mrs Ellis Day, her husband Ellis, their son Mike Day, daughter Patricia Donovan, (Terry) and their children Mark and Matthew. She lived most of her life in Fairgrove, the oldest member of the Fairgrove Presbyterian Church, and was a life member active in the order of the Eastern Star Chapter #371, serving as worthy Matron, and a member of the State auditing committee for the order of the Eastern Star. She cherished her many friends in the Fairgrove community who were so very faithful to her for so many years. She dearly loved the members of the Bay county Health Department, the Staff of Bay Shores Nursing Home, and the Nurses and aides of the Carriage House of Bay City who were so compassionate and caring of her during her final days. 

Myrna Piar
Of Burton, Age 38, died November 26, 1998 at Hurley Medical Center. Funeral services will be 3pm Wednesday from Miles Martin Funeral Home. She was born on March 10, 1960 in Flint the daughter of Robert Allen and Linda Sue (Mallory) Lacina. She is survived by 2 sons: Jeffery of Burton and James of Netherlands; 3 brothers: Darin of Flint; Reggie of Las Vegas; Raymond of Flint; Grandmother: Imajean R. Thick of Davison; Several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. 

Lillie V. Moberly
Of Mayville, Age 93, died Saturday November 28, 1998 at Lapeer Hospital. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Wednesday from Martin Funeral Home, Vassar with Rev. Mr. Walter David officiating. Burial in Roseland Park Cemetery - Royal Oak. Friends may call at the funeral home after 6pm Monday, all day Tuesday, and Wednesday until time of service at 11am. She was born on March 17, 1905 in Marksbury, KY., the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mitchell and Nannie (Adkins) Lane. She and Homer Moberly were united in marriage on November 21, 1921. He preceded her in death October 21, 1977. She worked as a machine operator at Ternstedt Div. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, 1 son and 1 daughter. Surviving are: Son: Alex; 5 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 son, 1 daughter, and a brother. 

Henry J. Kufta
Of Mt. Morris, Age 77, died at his residence Saturday November 28, 1998. Funeral services will be held at Miles Martin Funeral Home at 7:30 pm on Wednesday December 2, 1998. Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday from 4pm until time of service at 7:30pm. He was born July 23, 1921 in Muskegon the son of Mr. and Mrs.Joseph and Maria (Galat) Kufta. He married Pamela Klauka. He retired in 1980 from Fisher Body Ternstedt Coldwater Road from inspection. Surviving are: wife Pamela; 1 sister: Stephanie of Muskegon; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents , 2 brothers and 2 sisters. 

Michelle Lacina
Of Burton, Age 38, died November 26, 1998 at Hurley Medical Center. Funeral services will be 3pm Wednesday from Miles Martin Funeral Home. She was born on March 10, 1960 in Flint the daughter of Robert Allen and Linda Sue (Mallory) Lacina. Pearl Newsome
Of Mt.Morris, Age 79, died Thursday November 26, 1998 at McLaren Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Miles Martin Funeral Home on Monday. Friends my call after 6pm Saturday and all day Sunday. Family will be present Saturday from 6pm to 9pm, Sunday from 2pm to 5pm and 7pm to 9pm. Memorials may be directed to the American Lung Assoc. She was born on March 15, 1919 in Lancaster, Minn the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar and Beda (Melin) Olson. She married James C. Newsome January 21, 1978. She was a member of Loyal Order Moose - Flushing Lodge 1437, Auto City Eagles Aerie #3485. She was also a member of UAW Local #326. She retired from Ternstedt Division Coldwater Road in 1979. Upon her retirement she enjoyed traveling with many trips to Las Vegas. Surviving are: husband: James; 2 brothers: Clifford Olson of Yuma, AZ.; Owen and wife Deanna Dorff of Ludington; Several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 brothers Virgil Olson on August 11, 1977 and Lester Dorff on August 11, 1996 

Kathalene Howell
Of Flushing, Age 72, died at Mclaren. Funeral services will be held at Miles Martin Funeral Home at 1:30 pm Monday, November 30, 1998. Burial will take place at Eastwood Cemetery. Friends may call after 6pm Sunday, and from 9am to time of service at 1:30pm. She was born September 14, 1926 in Empire AL; the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fayett and Maddie (Keller) Butler. She married Wilburn W. Howell on October 28,1942 he preceded her August 1, 1993. Surviving are daughter: Carolyn & Jerry Ward; 2 grandchildren: Jeannie Berry of Mt. Morris and James Walter of Vassar; 5 great grandchildren: Amanda Berry, Anna Walter, Jamie Walter and wife Jennifer, Toby Walter, and Ericka Pulley; 4 Brothers and 4 Sisters. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Gary W. Howell August 14, 1983 and 3 brothers and 1 sister. 

Donald McFarland
Of Genesee Age 78 died Wednesday November 25, 1998, at Genesys Convalescent Center. Funeral service will be at Miles Martin Funeral Home at 1:00 pm on Saturday . Visitation will start at 12:00 noon to 8 pm on Friday and 9 am till service on Saturday. Burial will take place at Flint Memorial Park. Mr. McFarland was born May 17, 1920 in Malden Missouri, the son of Mr. And Mrs. Olin O. And Zelia (Watson ) . He was joined in marriage May 3,1948 to Jean M. Young. She preceded him in death February 10, 1997. Donald served with the US Marines and was a veteran of World War II. He retired from General Motors, Buick Motor Division in 1980 with 35 years service. A Special Thanks to Genesys Convalescent Home. He lost the Battle but won the War, because He is now with his Jean. Survivors are: Brothers Alman and wife Rosemary McFarland ; Wayne and wife Irene McFarland; Norman and wife Ilene McFarland; and many nieces and nephews . Sidney Ann Haynes
of Vassar age 1 year 2 months died Tuesday November 24, 1998 at St. Lukes Hospital in Saginaw. Sidney was born September 18, 1997 in Saginaw. Surviving are: mother: Jody Haynes of Vassar; grandparents: Verna and Charles Sharrow of Vassar; Randy Haynes of Vassar; great grandparents: Gladys Wilber and Ken Barbant of Vassar; Charles and Jan Sharrow of Saginaw; great great grandfather: Fred Wilbur, Sr. of Vassar; aunts, uncles, and cousins. Funeral services will be 1pm Monday from Martin Funeral Home, Vassar with burial in Riverside cemetery Vassar. 

Doris Arwilda Massey
Of Mt. Morris Age 77 Died Tuesday November 24, 1997, at McLaren Hospice. Funeral will take place at Miles Martin Funeral Home at 10:00 am on Saturday with burial at Woodlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-9 pm on Thursday , 9-9 pm on Friday and 9 am until service. Doris was born February 2, 1921 in Flint the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alvia and Isabelle ( Dunham) Glidden. She bowled for many years and loved to knit and crochet and many other crafts. Survived by 4 children: Francis C. Massey of Mountain City, Tenn.; Arwilda Jeanne and David Martin of North Carolina; Barry and Shurlia Massey of Mt. Morris; LouAnn and Michael Moczarski of Wichita Falls, TX; 11 grandchildren; 11 great grand children; Brother and Sister Maynard Glidden o f Manitou Beach, MI.; Myrna and Donald Jones of Rancho Cordova, CA.; Gwen and Max Coleman of Mt. Morris; Nadine and Earl Helwig of Midland. And very good friends Donna Fias and Sharon Hornung. She was preceded in death by her parents, Brother Duane Glidden and Sister Wilma Dibble and former husband of 38 years Francis L. Massey. 

Vera E. Green
Mrs. Green , age 96, passed away Saturday November 21, 1998 at the Frankenmuth Care Center. She was born in on October 25, 1902 in Fairgrove. She was a member of the Fairgrove Presbyterian Church, a life member of Kedron, and Chapter O.E.S. in Caro. She married Ward H. Green on January 25, 1920. He preceded her in death on June 20, 1974. Survivors are : Daughter-in-law Barbara (Fred) Wahrman of Romulus; Step granddaughters Debra (Don) Klug and Susan (Jerry) Cichowski; Sister-in-law Iva Black of Caro; 5 nieces and nephews. Harold Black; Dorothy Campbell; Virginia Reeves; Nona (Wm) Jonke and Ernest Black. Black. Mrs. Green was preceded in death by her parents Donald Green and Edith Black, her 2 sons; Dale W. Green January 10, 1942 and Donald Green March 6, 1944; and grandson, David D. Green February 15, 1986. 4 brothers: Leo, Clayton, Claude, and Carl Black. George Stekl
Of Fairgrove, age 76, died Friday November 20, 1998, at Bay Medical Center. Mr. Stekl was born October 9, 1922 in Fairgrove the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph and Rose (Rajkovich) Stekl. He and Marian Starkey were united in Marriage on March 15, 1944. She preceded him in death January 3, 1997. Mr. Stekl was a life long farmer. In his younger years he enjoyed hunting, fishing and softball. Surviving are: son Dale and wife Diane Stekl of Akron; daughter Brenda Rae of Interlochen; 3 grandchildren Jennifer and husband Dennis Doyle, Jeff Stekl and Stephanie Rae; 1 great grandson Connor Doyle; and several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friend at the Martin Funeral Home in Fairgrove on Sunday from 2pm to 8pm and on Monday from 9am to time of service at 11am. Pauline Glay
Age 67 died Thursday Nov.19 1998. Mrs Glay was born in Detroit, MI to Howard Jantz and Albina Viewiekowski on July 25, 1931 . Mrs Glay was an avid bowler belonging to Flint All Stars league, Major classics & Twilight mixed doubles. She was an avid golfer & charter member of Genesee hills golf course. Surviving are Marc & wife Mary, Dale & Jeff; Don & wife Phillyis, Yvonne & grandchildren Elizabeth & Travis, Dear friends Merilyn & Larry Denty. She was preceded in death by her husband Frank Glay. Everett Mayle
Of Mt. Morris, age 80, died Wednesday, November 18, 1998. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday at Miles Martin Funeral Home with Pastor Ronald Emmerling officiating. Burial at Flint Memorial Park. Family will receive friends at the funeral home 9-9 Friday and 9 until service time on Saturday. Mr. Mayle was born June 3, 1918 in Midland, Michigan the son of Harry and Mary (Redman) Mayle. He married Mozelle Smith on October 22, 1993. He worked for General Motors as an inspector retiring in 1972. He was a member of Central Baptist Church in Flint. Surviving are: Wife Mozelle; 3 daughters Judy & husband Eugene Csapo of Grand Blanc; Maryetta & husband Don Ridgeway of Noblesville Indiana; Loretta Young of Columbiaville; 1 brother Kenneth & wife Dorothy Mayle; 1 sister Virginia Halleck; sister-in-law Margaret Mayle; Several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Agnes Stone
Of Mt. Morris died Thursday Nov. 12, 1998 at Genesys Health Park. Funeral services will be 11am Saturday from Mt. Morris St. Mary Catholic Church. Rev. Fr. Raymond Urbanek officiating. Burial in Calvary Cemetery with military honors by VFW Gordon Bennett Post 1452. Mrs. Stone will remain at the Miles Martin Funeral Home where friends may call all day Friday. Family and friends will gather at the funeral home to pray the Rosary 7pm this evening. Saturday morning Mrs. Stone will be taken to church to lie in state from 10am until time of funeral at 11am. Born January 1, 1919 in Berlin, New Hampshire. Mrs. Stone was a veteran of WWII serving with the Women's Army Corps at Ft. Ord California. She retired 1984 from US Postal Services as a clerk at Flint's main branch. After her retirement she volunteered at St. Joseph Hospital. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. Surviving are her 3 sons: Norman and wife Pamela McCarthy of Burton; Bradley and wife Marilyn (Jill) Reno of Clio; Brian Reno of Mt. Morris; 5 grandchildren: Jennifer A. McCarthy of Hancock; Brent Reno of Flint; Christopher Reno of Mt. Morris; Melody and husband Robert Gilkes of Genesee; Brandon Reno of Clio; 2 Great grandchildren: Kylie Gilkes and Kynlie Gilkes. Ashley Mae McCallister
Of Flint age 6 died Monday Nov. 9, 1998 at Hurley Medical Cntr. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday November 12, 1998. Burial in Flint Memorial Park. Born January 23, 1992 in Flint the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Randall Paul Jr. and Leona Kay (Cwiklinski) McCallister. Ashley has appeared several times in Hurley Medical Cntr's Health Monitor newsletter and Jerry Lewis Telethon. Surviving are parents. 2 sisters: Kailey and Holly; grandparents: Katheryn and Dennis Wolodkin; Randall P. and Sandy McCallister; Christine Moore; Leonard and Camille Cwiklinski. Great grandparents: Wilma and Jim Farmer; Loren and Roxanne Austin Sr.; Beverly McCallister. several aunts, uncles, and cousins and friends. 

Anthony Leo Spanke Jr.
Of Flint age 25 slipped away Friday November 6, 1998. Family will receive friends at Miles Martin Funeral Home from 2pm Tuesday until time of services at 4pm. Cremation will follow. He was born August 29, 1973 in Lapeer and resided in Flint his entire life. He leaves to cherish his memory ; Children: Toni; Kimberly; and Brandon all of home, Parents: Penny and Mike Ables; Robin and Dale Whitetree; 3 brothers: Dale; Orvil; and Robert; 4 sisters: Ardith; Natasha both of Flint; Emily and Elizabeth both of Mt. Morris; Grandparents: Mary Porter; Darlene and Bob Crain; 2 special friends: Michelle and Tracey; Several aunts, uncles, nieces, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father Anthony L. Spanke Sr., and grandparents Dale and Gladys Warner.

Norman Robinson 
Of Flint, Age 58 went home to be with the Lord Thursday November 5, 1998 at Hurley Medical Cntr. Due to a brain aneurism. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Monday from Miles Martin Funeral Home. Rev. Mr. Bruce Badder officiating. Burial in Flint Memorial Park. Family will receive friends after 6pm Saturday and all day Sunday. Norman was born September 4, 1940 in Flint the son of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard and Rose (Clark) Robinson. His stepfather was Julian Shelly whom he cherished and who helped raise him. He and Sharon Ann Marcou were united in marriage July 10, 1964. He was employed by Chevrolet Motor Division for 10 years and was then employed by the Bendle Public Schools for the past 26 years. Norman was very active in the S.E.I.U. union as vice-chairman for approximately 12 years. He was a old car buff with the 1965 Thunderbird as his favorite. He loved life and his family. He lived his life with their happiness as his number one concern. Car Travel was on of his favorite pleasures. He was a beautiful singer. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife: Sharon; Son: Matthew and wife Alaina of the US Navy ; Daughter: Dawn Robinson: granddaughter: Chelsea Robinson; 3 Brothers: Rick and wife Wanda Robinson ; Paul and wife Judy Robinson; Max and wife Norma Robinson all of Flint; Special friend Eddie Starkey; He was preceded in death by his parents, stepfather, 2 brothers George and Leonard, and father & mother-in-law Leo and Leona Marcou. 

Louis N. Larson
Of Tuscola age 71 died Wednesday Nov. 4, 1998 at his home. Funeral services will be 1:00pm Saturday from Martin Funeral Home - Vassar. Rev. Mr. Cyril Haines officiating. Burial in Tuscola Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home 2-8pm Friday. Born Oct. 28, 1927 in Saginaw the son of Mr. & Mrs. Chris and Mary (Campbell) Larson. He and Marilyn P. Bender were united in marriage May 5, 1950. He was a member of Mayville VFW and had also been an old gas engine collector. Prior to his retirement he had been employed at the Saginaw Malleable Iron plant for 30 years. Surviving are his wife: Marilyn; 2 sons and 2 daughters: Donna and husband Joseph Kern of Vassar; Chris and husband John Pfeiffer of Lapeer; Nels and wife Jan Larson of Lapeer; Lars and wife Jody Larson of Allegan; 13 grandchildren. 1 sister and 1 brother: Lucene Narloch of Mt. Pleasant; Carlton Larson of New Liberia, LA.; 2 very close friends: Edward and Nancy Sullivan. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 grandchildren: Jeremy Larson and Allison Pfeiffer and 2 brothers Robert and Richard Larson. 

Lillie Frasik 
Of Grand Rapids, formerly of Flint and Clio, died Wednesday Nov. 4, 1998 at Kent Community Hospital age 85. Funeral Services will take place 10:00 AM Saturday, November 7, 1998 at St. Marys Catholic Church in Mt. Morris with Rev. Fr. Raymond Urbanek. Burial at Flint Memorial Park. Family will receive friends at Miles Martin Funeral Home 6-9pm Thursday and 12 noon -9pm Friday. Lillie was born January 16, 1913 in Lakquay, MO the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George and Annie (Tucker) Parsons. Lillie moved to Flint at age of 16 residing there and Clio most of her life, the last 2 years she spent with her daughter Genevieve Gibson in Grand Rapids. She and Wallace Leo Frasik on March 13, 1930. He preceded her in death 1978. Surviving are: 4 daughters, LaVern and husband Thomas Poe of Mecosta, MI, Jeanette and husband Gerald Szabo of Henderson, Nevada, Teresa and husband Eugene Grembowski of Henderson, Nevada, and Genevieve and husband Stacey Gibson of Grand Rapids; 17 grandchildren, Lenny Acardo, Angela Austin, Tom Poe, Jr., John Poe, Kathleen Walton, Neal Szabo, Dennis Szabo, Anne Smedley, Deb Johnson, Bruce Grembowski, Lance Shirley, Sabrina Eggleston, Auzahnee Shirley, Justin Gibson and Anthony Bear Gibson; 12 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; several nieces and nephews. Ronald Patrick Lambert 
Age 44 of Mt. Morris Twp. Died Tuesday Nov. 3, 1998 as a result of automobile pedestrian accident. Funeral services will 2pm Sunday from Miles Martin Funeral Home. Friends may call at the funeral home after 12noon Saturday. Born December 28, 1953 in Saginaw the son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael John Sr. and Helene (Samolin) Lambert. He was a veteran of Vietnam era serving with the US Marine Corps. He retired from Buick City assembly. Surviving are his daughter: Jennifer Lambert. Parents: Michael J. Joseph W. Connolly
Of Clio formerly of Mt. Morris, age 86 died Tuesday November 3, 1998 at McLaren Regional Medical Cntr. Funeral services will be 10am Thursday from SS Charles & Helena Catholic Church, Clio. Rev. Fr. Gerald Ploof will officiate. Burial in New Calvary Cemetery. Mr. Connolly will remain at the Miles Martin Funeral Home where friends may call after 1pm Wednesday. This evening the Mt. Morris Holy Family Council #4285 and the Leon Satkowiak Assembly of 4th degre will assemble for Knights of Columbus and 4th degree chalice and memorial service. Thursday morning the family will assemble at the funeral home for prayers and proceed to church for Holy Mass at 10am. Memorials may be directed to Arthritis and Diabetes Foundations. Mr. Connolly was born in Andover, MA October 23, 1912 the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph and Margaret (Davies) Connolly. He and Evelyn Mary Ferguson were united in marriage August 4, 1934. She predeceased him August 19, 1998 just after celebrating 64 years of marriage together. Joe was a member of Mt. Morris Holy Family Council #4285 and the Leon Satkowiak Assembly of 4th Degree KofC. He was a longtime member of Elk Rapids Golf Club and Elk Rapids Lions Club, also the Clio Country Club. He was inducted into the Flint Bowlers Hall of Fame. He retired from Chevrolet V-8 engine plant as a foreman of Tool & Die with 44 years service to General Motors. Joe was a member of the first graduating class from GM's Tool and Die Apprenticeship program. He also was an instructor for GM's apprenticeship program. Surviving are: son: Dennis and wife Catherine Connolly of Flushing daughter: Roberta Wood of Lapeer; 7 grandchildren: Michelle Stonerock; Michael Wood; Maureen Klage; Matthew Wood; Kimberly Key; Scott Connolly; Laurie Miller; 13 great grandchildren; 2 brothers: John and wife Barbara Connolly of Flint; Thomas and wife Donna Connolly of Clio; sister: Margaret and husband Joseph Sautner of Florida; sister-in-law: Frances and husband Andrew Young of Berkley; several nieces and nephews. 

Ruth Laura Tulloch 
Of Vassar, age 83, died Monday Nov. 2, 1998 at Saginaw St. Mary Hospital. Funeral services will be 11am Thursday from First Baptist Church of Vassar. Pastor Douglas Stockwell officiating. Burial in Riverside Cemetery. Friends may call at Martin Funeral Home - Vassar Wednesday from 1-4pm and 7-9pm. And at the church from 10am until time of services at 11am Thursday. Memorials may be directed to First Baptist Church. A longtime resident of Vassar. Mrs. Tulloch was born near Standish Dec. 2, 1914 the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John and Laura (Wyatt) Wubbena. She graduated from Standish High School and Arenac County Normal College. She worked 5 years on the Arenac County Independent before marrying William C. Tulloch on August 3, 1938. They were married nearly 50 years when William died November 1987. The couple moved to Vassar September 1939, where William taught vocational agriculture for over 30 years. The family also farmed south of Vassar and raised four children. She was a long time member of First Baptist Church. Mrs. Tulloch served many terms as Deaconess as well as many other offices and duties. During the 1970's she enjoyed writing local news for Vassar Pioneer Times and the Caro Advertiser. In her later years she was active in the Senior Citizens club of Vassar. Surviving are her 4 children: Rodney and wife Charlotte Tulloch of Lexington, KY; John and wife Pauline Tulloch of Colorado Springs, CO; Janine and husband Richard Emery of Flint; Christine and husband Duane Robinson of Ft. Wayne, IN.; Also surviving are 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, 2 sisters: Catherine Wubbena of Standish; Jean Bittner of Vassar; And several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers.

Friends may call at the funeral home all day Wednesday. David was born November 11, 1998 in Flint. Michael was born March 30, 1992 in Flint. Surviving are: Parents: Bettyann Ingleston and George William Smith. 3 sisters: Jessica P. Ingleston; Meshele Dawn Smith; Tabiatha Sebrina Smith. 3 brothers: Daniel L. Ingleston; George W. Smith Jr.; Ryan Michael Smith. Grandparents: Pat and Charles Colley; Norna Smith; Merle and Jewels Ingleston. Great grandmother: Margaret Sarah Germaine.
