of Melissa Ankney and Kenneth Firman. Left to cherish her memory are mother,

Erwin G. Dodge
Age 81 of Mt. Morris died Tuesday ,October 27,1998 at McLaren Regional
Medical Center. Family will receive friends and relatives at 1:00 pm, followed
by a memorial service at 3:00 pm Friday, October 30,1998 at Thetford United
Methodist Church, 11394 N. Center Rd. In Clio, Rev. Mac Green officiating.

United Methodist Church Memorial Fund. Ernie was born on May 30,1917 to
Guy and Susie (Richards) Dodge, and lived in Thetford Township all his
life where he farmed the Dodge Homestead for over 50 years. Ernie was a
machinist at Buick and UAW Local 599 member for 30 years, life member of
Mt. Morris Masonic Lodge Chapter 535, F&AM, and a member of the Thetford
United Methodist Church. Ernie is survived by his devoted wife of 61 years
Marguerite (Russell) of Mt. Morris; son: Richard and wife Lyn of Clio;
Robert and wife Gale of Clio; daughter: Patti Boice and husband Tom of
Nixa, Missouri; sister: Una Heidebreicht and husband Lloyd of Mt. Morris;
Harriet Donovan and husband Ken of Genesee; sister-in-law: Dorothy Fortier
and husband Asa of Mt. Morris; Florence Duncan of California; He was preceded
in death by both his parents, son David and sister Elizabeth (Noe) and
Dorothy (Kippe). Ernie dearly loved his grandchildren Jason and David Dodge;
Jennifer, and Andrew Dodge , Bradley and Lucas Smith: Scott, Dylan and
MK Kala Boice; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends and neighbors.
Paul Joseph Sekelsky
Age 57. Of Clio. Died Tuesday Oct. 27, 1998 at his residence with family
and loved ones at his side. Funeral service will take place 11:00 A.M.
Friday October 30, 1998 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Rev. Fr. Raymond Urbanek
officiating with burial in Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends
at the Miles Martin Funeral Home 6-9 PM Wed. 9-9 Thursday. Parish and family
will gather at PM Thursday to pray the Rosary. Friday morning family and
friends will gather at the funeral home for prayers at 10:30 A.M. and then
proceed to church for Holy Mass at 11:00 A.M. Born in Flint , the son of
Paul and Anne (Kurys)Sekelsky. Paul was a survivor of the 1953 tornado.
He attended St. Agnes School and was a 1959 graduate. He married Thelma(Tootie)
Dupuis his loving wife of 34 blessed and joyous years on April 1, 1964
at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Flint. Paul was a member of
the AARP, the Waggin Wheels Camping Club and also served as its vice-president.
and was also a member of the UAW Local 599. He was a die maker and served
his apprenticeship at Buick where he worked for 36 years. Paul also worked
at the Great Lakes Tech Center for the past 2 years as a Senior project
engineer. Paul will be missed by his loving family and everyone else whose
life he touched. He fought a courageous battle with cancer for the past
year and he is now at peace. He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving
wife Tootie, No.1 Son Paul II and friend Carrie Bacon, Little Polish Princess
daughter Kelly and husb. Tim Stevens, also the pride, joy, and sunshine
of PaPa life, his 2 special Grand Daughters Kayla Lynn and Kelsy Andrea
Stevens. His mother Anne Gensel, Three Brothers, Ron and Marsha Sekelsky,
Bob Gensel , Tom and Jan Gensel, 2 Sisters, Karen and Bob Childs, Cindy
and Mike Rose, Also Tootie's supportive family, and hunting and fishing
companions, Al and Norma Haemmerlein, Ken and Donna Dupuis, Wally and Bev
Dupuis, Jack and Bernie McCarthy, Don and Betty Moliterno, Bea Mead, John
and Donna Smith. Many Nieces, Nephews, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Friends,
and his faithful cat "Precious". The family wishes to thank the staff of

Baptist Church, and T.O.P.S. Her hobbies included Bowling and Gardening.

the past 28 years. He was a retired General Motors skilled tradesman from

Planning Commission for Genesee Twp., and a member of the Johnson Memorial

of Lapeer, and Gayle and husband Mark Heggan of Tenn.; 8 grandchildren

Of Flushing Age 85, died Wednesday October 14, 1998 at Fostorian Manor.

1932 in Sault Ste. Marie Michigan. the son of Cecil and Elsie (Rye) Ames.
He married Virgie (Jenny) Saiko June 28, 1958 in Bancroft, Michigan . He
had been employed as a construction foreman. He was a member of the Independent
Order of the Foresters and the Loyal Order of the Moose. Surviving are:

9am until time of service at 11am. She was born November 21, 1918 in Vassar,
the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harrison and Matilda (Roth) Levis. She and
Walter Clouse were united in marriage on February 28, 1937. He preceded
her in death after 52 years of marriage on January 25, 1989. Those left
to cherish her memory are; 2 children, Walene and husband Gary Blasius
of Vassar, Richard Walter Clouse of Vassar; 4 grandchildren, Gary and wife

Inez A. Randle
Age 87 of Hale formerly of Mt. Morris died Saturday October 10, 1998
at her son's home in Carson City, Nevada. Funeral services will be 11:00
am Friday from Mt. Morris First Baptist Church, at corner of Walter &
Louisa. Pastor Richard Cook officiating. Burial in Flint Memorial Park.
Family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday 6-9pm and Thursday
9am - 9pm. Friday morning Mrs. Randle will be taken to church to lie in
state from 10am until time of funeral at 11am. Inez was born June 30, 1911
in Iron Mountain the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louis and Marie (Olson) Nelson.
She and Walter Randle were united in marriage August 21, 1931. He predeceased
her March 29, 1989. She had been a resident of Mt. Morris from 1943 until
1990 when she moved to Hale. She was a member of Mt. Morris First Baptist
Church since 1935. Surviving are her 5 children, 2 sons and 3 daughters:
Marilyn and husband Duane Johnson of Hale; Dale and wife Gloria Randle
of Carson City, NV; Noreen Mattingly of Mt. Morris; Deanna Drayton of Madison

Minnie Coenen
Of Mt. Morris, Age 90, died Saturday October 10, 1998 at McLaren Hopsital.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday October 12, 1998 at
Crestwood Cemetery with Dr. Dale Woods Jr. officiating. Family and Friends
will assemble at the Miles Martin Funeral Home at 10:00 AM Monday October
12, 1998, and proceed to Crestwood Cemetery for Graveside services. Memorial

charity. She was born August 7, 1908 in Lapeer the daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Omar and Augusta (Sylvester) Bagley. She married Stephen E. Coenen
on September 1, 1927 in Whigville. She enjoyed sewing and quilting. She
also enjoyed her husbands interest at the cabin and fishing up north. Surviving
are 2 sons: Dale Stephen Coenen of New York, NY; Roy C. Coenen of Mt. Morris;
6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by
her husband Stephen Coenen and daughter Geraldine Ball.
Richard J. McDermott
Of Mt. Morris, Age 59, died Thursday October 8, 1998 at Kith Haven
- Mclaren Hospice in Flint. Funeral services will be held at Miles Martin
Funeral Home on Monday October 12, 1998 at 1:00 PM. With Fr. Paul Ruge
O.F.M.I. officating and burial at Flint Memorial Park. Visitors will be

time of service at 1pm. He was born on December 30, 1938 in Johnstown,
PA, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard and Sarah Cecelia (Burns) McDermott.

Naomi Ysletta Cox
age 93 of Mt. Morris died Wednesday Oct. 7, 1998 at Genesys Health
Park. Funeral services will be 1pm Saturday from Miles Martin Funeral Home.

may call at the funeral home after 12 noon Friday. Memorials may be directed
to her church the Bray Road Baptist Church. Born September 26, 1905 in
Vassar the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Guy and Blanch Watkins. She and Bert
Cox were united in marriage. He preceded her in death January 1976. Naomi
was a member of Bray Road Baptist Church and AARP. Among all the things
she will be remembered for she will be remembered also as an excellent
seamstress and for her beautiful crochete work. Surviving are her 5 children:

AM. at the Chapel in Flint Memorial Park. Anne Marie was born in Eureka,
South Dakota on April 4,1912 to M/M Otto and Barbara (Koehn) Froh. Anne
married Anton Rehak on September 16, 1934. She was a life member of the
F.O.E. #629 of Flint. Survivors are: daughter Barbara Meyerhoffer of Rhodes,
MI; 2 grand-daughters Colleen Meyerhoffer of Marquette, MI; Lori (Meyerhoffer)
and Husband Douglas Kellerman of Dandridge,TN; Great grandson, Joshua Lee

Dale Delbert Princing
Of Mt. Morris, Age 76, went to be with his lord on Friday, October
2, 1998 at Hurley Medical Center. Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday
October 6,1998 at Miles Martin Funeral Home at 11:00 am . Burial will take
place at Flint Memorial Park after services Rev. Hal Phillips officiating.
Visitation will be 6-9 on Sunday, 10 am-9 pm on Monday, and 9am till service
at 11:00 am on Tuesday. Dale was born in Crump, Mi. to Mr. and Mrs. Delbert
and Harriet (Barber) Princing on March 7,1922. He Married his very best
friend Lois Jean Torrey on September 20, 1940, a love affair that lasted
all of those 58 years. Dale was a veteran of World War II and served in
the U.S. Navy aboard a munitions carrier in the Pacific. He worked at A.C.
Spark Plug as a machine repairman for 42 years. Dale enjoyed sports, especially
baseball, fishing, hunting, bowling, but most of all, he loved being with
his family. Dale was a devoted husband, a loving father, a caring grandfather
and "lots of candy" great-grandfather. Dale will be sadly missed by all
who knew and loved him. Surviving to cherish his dear memory are: wife
Lois, 3 daughters Judy and husband Steve Bliss of N.C., Joan and husband
LaVaughn Lee of Genesee; and Jill Kellerman of Mt. Morris; and son Dale
James of Flint; Grandchildren: Stephanie Kalscheur, Erin Bliss, Camille
