Erwin G. Dodge
Age 81 of Mt. Morris died Tuesday ,October 27,1998 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. Family will receive friends and relatives at 1:00 pm, followed by a memorial service at 3:00 pm Friday, October 30,1998 at Thetford United Methodist Church, 11394 N. Center Rd. In Clio, Rev. Mac Green officiating. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the family or the Thetford United Methodist Church Memorial Fund. Ernie was born on May 30,1917 to Guy and Susie (Richards) Dodge, and lived in Thetford Township all his life where he farmed the Dodge Homestead for over 50 years. Ernie was a machinist at Buick and UAW Local 599 member for 30 years, life member of Mt. Morris Masonic Lodge Chapter 535, F&AM, and a member of the Thetford United Methodist Church. Ernie is survived by his devoted wife of 61 years Marguerite (Russell) of Mt. Morris; son: Richard and wife Lyn of Clio; Robert and wife Gale of Clio; daughter: Patti Boice and husband Tom of Nixa, Missouri; sister: Una Heidebreicht and husband Lloyd of Mt. Morris; Harriet Donovan and husband Ken of Genesee; sister-in-law: Dorothy Fortier and husband Asa of Mt. Morris; Florence Duncan of California; He was preceded in death by both his parents, son David and sister Elizabeth (Noe) and Dorothy (Kippe). Ernie dearly loved his grandchildren Jason and David Dodge; Jennifer, and Andrew Dodge , Bradley and Lucas Smith: Scott, Dylan and MK Kala Boice; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends and neighbors. 

Paul Joseph Sekelsky
Age 57. Of Clio. Died Tuesday Oct. 27, 1998 at his residence with family and loved ones at his side. Funeral service will take place 11:00 A.M. Friday October 30, 1998 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Rev. Fr. Raymond Urbanek officiating with burial in Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Miles Martin Funeral Home 6-9 PM Wed. 9-9 Thursday. Parish and family will gather at PM Thursday to pray the Rosary. Friday morning family and friends will gather at the funeral home for prayers at 10:30 A.M. and then proceed to church for Holy Mass at 11:00 A.M. Born in Flint , the son of Paul and Anne (Kurys)Sekelsky. Paul was a survivor of the 1953 tornado. He attended St. Agnes School and was a 1959 graduate. He married Thelma(Tootie) Dupuis his loving wife of 34 blessed and joyous years on April 1, 1964 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Flint. Paul was a member of the AARP, the Waggin Wheels Camping Club and also served as its vice-president. and was also a member of the UAW Local 599. He was a die maker and served his apprenticeship at Buick where he worked for 36 years. Paul also worked at the Great Lakes Tech Center for the past 2 years as a Senior project engineer. Paul will be missed by his loving family and everyone else whose life he touched. He fought a courageous battle with cancer for the past year and he is now at peace. He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife Tootie, No.1 Son Paul II and friend Carrie Bacon, Little Polish Princess daughter Kelly and husb. Tim Stevens, also the pride, joy, and sunshine of PaPa life, his 2 special Grand Daughters Kayla Lynn and Kelsy Andrea Stevens. His mother Anne Gensel, Three Brothers, Ron and Marsha Sekelsky, Bob Gensel , Tom and Jan Gensel, 2 Sisters, Karen and Bob Childs, Cindy and Mike Rose, Also Tootie's supportive family, and hunting and fishing companions, Al and Norma Haemmerlein, Ken and Donna Dupuis, Wally and Bev Dupuis, Jack and Bernie McCarthy, Don and Betty Moliterno, Bea Mead, John and Donna Smith. Many Nieces, Nephews, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Friends, and his faithful cat "Precious". The family wishes to thank the staff of Drs. Black and Weiners office and the Hospice Nurses. He was preceded in death by his father Paul Sekelsky in 1953. 

Suzanne Marie Talley 
Age 32. Of Davison, formerly of Burton. Died Monday October 26, 1998 at her residence. Funeral Service will take place 11:00 AM Thursday Oct. 29, 1998 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Rev. Fr. She is survived by her precious daughter Leah Marie Talley of Davison; Mother and Stepfather: Martha and Henry Sulkowski of Hudson, Fla.; Father and Stepmother; Raymond and Donna Talley of Lapeer; Twin Sister; Cherie and Don Bryson of Burton; Brother: Patrick R. Morris; Joan Talley of St. Petersburg, Fla.; Niece and Nephew: Michael and Gabrielle Bryson; Special Friend: Paul Burke; God Parents: Bob and Debi Swales of Mt. Morris; Several Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins. She was preceded in death by Grandfathers Joseph R. Swales Sr. and L.E. Talley. 

Coralyn J. (Pat) Luck 
Age 69 of Mt. Morris died Friday October 23, 1998 at Genesys Health Park. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM, Tuesday October 27, 1998 at First Baptist Church with Pastor Richard Cook officiating. Burial at Flint Memorial Park. Family will receive visitors at Miles Martin Funeral Home Sunday from 6-9 PM and on Monday from 12-9 PM. and on Tuesday from 10am until time of service. She was born on September 28, 1929 in Flint the daughter of Mr. And Mrs. Elmer and Coraline (Wright) Cheney. She married Warren A. Luck on June 11, 1949. She was a member of the Mt. Morris First Baptist Church, and T.O.P.S. Her hobbies included Bowling and Gardening. Surviving are husband : Warren Luck ; children: David and wife Kathleen Luck of Flint; Sharon and husband Frank Campbell of Clio; Pamela Lee and Walt Kosiba of Flint; Nathan Luck and Jane Painter of Clio; grandchildren: Deanna, Ben and wife Crystal, Scott, Luke, Stephen, Sean, Michelle, Lindy, Jon, Karrie, and Dan. Great grandchildren: Connor and Mariah; 2 sisters: Dorothy Bennett of Mt. Morris; Mary Moore of Clio; one brother: Elmer and wife Ginger Cheney of Mt. Morris. She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 brother and 3 sisters, John Cheney , Florence Skaggs, Virginia Bigger, Hazel Weddle. She will be missed by many more family and friends. 

Nathaniel Hamilton-Wayne Baker 
Of Vassar, was born and died on Tuesday, October 20, 1998 at Saginaw General Hospital, the son of Mr. and Mrs. James and Ronda (McCartney) Baker. Frank Vida 
Age 67 Of Mt. Morris. Died Wed. Oct. 21, 1998 at Genesys Health Park. Funeral Service will take place 11:00AM Monday Oct. 26, 1998 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home, Rev. Zoltan Sutto officiating with burial in Flint Memorial Park.. The family will receive friends at the Miles Martin Funeral Home 6-9 PM Sat. 12 Noon - 4:00 PM and 6-9 PM Sunday. Frank was born March12, 1931 in Baja, Hungary and came to the United States with his wife Helen in 1957 during the Hungarian Revolution. Helen preceded him in death in 1991. He then married Klara Babai Nov. 11, 1992. Frank resided in Mt. Morris the past 28 years. He was a retired General Motors skilled tradesman from Grand Blanc Metal Fabrication Plant. He is survivied by; wife Klara; son Gyorgy and wife Connie Vida Clio; son Frank Vida Jr. Mt. Morris; daughter Katherine and husband Larry Psaris Shanghi, China; stepdaughters; Babi and Klara Both of Budepest, Hungary; Grandchildren; George Jr., Alan, Adriane, David, Anthony, Jonathon, Deanna, Rob, April, and Crystal. Rose Link
Of Mt. Morris. Age 86. Died Wednesday at McLaren Regional Medical Centr.. Funeral services will be Miles Martin Funeral Home on Saturday October 24, 1998 at 11:00 am. Burial will take place at Flint Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6pm-9pm on Thursday, 10am- 9pm Friday, and 9am to service on Saturday. Rose was born on March 10, 1912 in New Jersey the daughter of M/M Zigmund and Sabrina Mierzwa. Rose married Arnold Link on February 8, 1933 a union that lasted 59 years. Rose was a devoted mother and Homemaker . Survivors: Son: Dawain and wife Leona Link of Alger, MI; Carl Link of Mt. Morris; Daughter: Betty Skaggs of Flint; Sister : Alice Zelenka of Owosso ; and several grand and great grand children. 

Jonathan M. Davis 
Age 25. Of Mt. Morris. Died Tuesday Oct. 20, 1998 at Hurley Medical Center. Funeral Service will take place 2:00 P.M. Friday Oct. 23, 1998 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home with burial in Flint Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the Miles Martin Funeral Home 2-9 PM Thursday and on Friday from 9:00 AM until time of service at 2:00 PM. Jonathan was born January 19, 1973 in Newport, Ark. the son of James Allyn and Rebecca(Holloway) Davis. William H. Selvidge 
Of Genesee , Age 66, died Monday , October 19, 1998 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Friday from Miles Martin Funeral Home. Cremation will follow. Family will receive friends at the funeral home after 6 PM Wednesday and all day Thursday. In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to the Johnson Memorial Friends of the Library. Mr. Selvidge was born in Detroit on July 18, 1932, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul J. and Marjorie (Young) Selvidge. He was former volunteer fireman with Genesee Township Central Fire department, also school board member for Genesee Schools, Lions Club of Genesee, Served on the Planning Commission for Genesee Twp., and a member of the Johnson Memorial Friends of the Library. Surviving are: his wife, Shirley; son Paul and wife Pamela Selvidge of Clio; 2 daughters, Susan and husband Gary Swosinski of Lapeer, and Gayle and husband Mark Heggan of Tenn.; 8 grandchildren ; 1 great grandchild; mother, Marjorie Selvidge of Genesee. His father preceded him in death. 

Kathryn Mary Vincenti
Of Flushing Age 85, died Wednesday October 14, 1998 at Fostorian Manor. Funeral service will take place 1:30 P.M. Saturday October 17, 1998 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home with burial in New Calvary Cemetery. Pastor Mac Greene officating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 12 noon - 9:00 P.M. Friday and on Saturday from 9:00 A.M. until time of service. She was born in St. Louis MO., on June 20, 1913 the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James and Mary Vincenti. Prior to her retirement she had been employed at Fisher Body - Ternstedt for 17 years. Surving are Barbara and Thomas Blanton of Flushing; Jill and Chris Woods of Mt. Morris; Anthony; Sean Blanton , Nicholas Blanton, and Jennifer and Jamie Lucero. 

Arvid C. Ames (Moose)
Of Mt. Morris. Age 66. Died Wednesday October 14, 1998 at Genesys Health Park. Funeral service will take place 11:00 A.M. Saturday October 17, 1998 at the Mile Martin Funeral Home, with Clifford Jordan and Jimmy Jordan officiating with burial in Flint Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 1-4 and 6-9 PM Friday. He was born August 4, 1932 in Sault Ste. Marie Michigan. the son of Cecil and Elsie (Rye) Ames. He married Virgie (Jenny) Saiko June 28, 1958 in Bancroft, Michigan . He had been employed as a construction foreman. He was a member of the Independent Order of the Foresters and the Loyal Order of the Moose. Surviving are: Wife Jenny Ames; Sons: Fran and wife Debbie Saiko ; Rob and wife Jamie Saiko ; Grandchildren: Angie, Chad, Krista and Joey; Sisters: Shelva and Bill Bassett; Katie and husband Roger Wayland; Many Nieces and Nephews, Grand Nieces and Grand Nephews and many more family and friends. Moose was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Duane of Linden and Robert of Swartz Creek. Moose's family would like to extend there thanks to his special Forester family. Irene Norma Clouse 
Of Vassar, age 79, died Sunday, October 11, 1998 at Covenant Medical Center-Harrison in Saginaw. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday at Martin Funeral Home in Vassar with Rev. Mr. Cyril Haines officiating. Burial at Riverside Cemetary. Family will receive friends at the Martin Funeral Home in Vassar on Tuesday from 11am until 9pm and on Wednesday 9am until time of service at 11am. She was born November 21, 1918 in Vassar, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harrison and Matilda (Roth) Levis. She and Walter Clouse were united in marriage on February 28, 1937. He preceded her in death after 52 years of marriage on January 25, 1989. Those left to cherish her memory are; 2 children, Walene and husband Gary Blasius of Vassar, Richard Walter Clouse of Vassar; 4 grandchildren, Gary and wife Rachel Blasius of Concord, N.C., Heidi Blasius of Raleigh, N.C., Todd Blasius and fiancé Cory of Fostoria, Kevin and wife Patricia Blasius of Millington; 3 great grandchildren, Kevin, Taylor and Brandon; several neices and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, huaband and infant daughter, 3 brothers, infant brother Harold, Clarence and Roy. 

Inez A. Randle 
Age 87 of Hale formerly of Mt. Morris died Saturday October 10, 1998 at her son's home in Carson City, Nevada. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Friday from Mt. Morris First Baptist Church, at corner of Walter & Louisa. Pastor Richard Cook officiating. Burial in Flint Memorial Park. Family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday 6-9pm and Thursday 9am - 9pm. Friday morning Mrs. Randle will be taken to church to lie in state from 10am until time of funeral at 11am. Inez was born June 30, 1911 in Iron Mountain the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louis and Marie (Olson) Nelson. She and Walter Randle were united in marriage August 21, 1931. He predeceased her March 29, 1989. She had been a resident of Mt. Morris from 1943 until 1990 when she moved to Hale. She was a member of Mt. Morris First Baptist Church since 1935. Surviving are her 5 children, 2 sons and 3 daughters: Marilyn and husband Duane Johnson of Hale; Dale and wife Gloria Randle of Carson City, NV; Noreen Mattingly of Mt. Morris; Deanna Drayton of Madison Hts.; William and wife Pat Randle of Linden.; 15 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; sister: Vivian and husband Neil Coan of Flint; 2 sisters-in-law: Ethel Carrier of Clio and Jean Nelson of Iron Mountain; She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 sisters, and 2 brothers. 

Minnie Coenen
Of Mt. Morris, Age 90, died Saturday October 10, 1998 at McLaren Hopsital. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday October 12, 1998 at Crestwood Cemetery with Dr. Dale Woods Jr. officiating. Family and Friends will assemble at the Miles Martin Funeral Home at 10:00 AM Monday October 12, 1998, and proceed to Crestwood Cemetery for Graveside services. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Diabetes Assoc. Or your favorite charity. She was born August 7, 1908 in Lapeer the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Omar and Augusta (Sylvester) Bagley. She married Stephen E. Coenen on September 1, 1927 in Whigville. She enjoyed sewing and quilting. She also enjoyed her husbands interest at the cabin and fishing up north. Surviving are 2 sons: Dale Stephen Coenen of New York, NY; Roy C. Coenen of Mt. Morris; 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Stephen Coenen and daughter Geraldine Ball. 

Richard J. McDermott
Of Mt. Morris, Age 59, died Thursday October 8, 1998 at Kith Haven - Mclaren Hospice in Flint. Funeral services will be held at Miles Martin Funeral Home on Monday October 12, 1998 at 1:00 PM. With Fr. Paul Ruge O.F.M.I. officating and burial at Flint Memorial Park. Visitors will be recieved on Sunday from 3pm to 9pm. Monday October 12, 1998 from 9am to time of service at 1pm. He was born on December 30, 1938 in Johnstown, PA, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard and Sarah Cecelia (Burns) McDermott. He worked for GM as a Laborer. 

Naomi Ysletta Cox 
age 93 of Mt. Morris died Wednesday Oct. 7, 1998 at Genesys Health Park. Funeral services will be 1pm Saturday from Miles Martin Funeral Home. Pastor Thomas Craighead officiating. Burial in Flint Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home after 12 noon Friday. Memorials may be directed to her church the Bray Road Baptist Church. Born September 26, 1905 in Vassar the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Guy and Blanch Watkins. She and Bert Cox were united in marriage. He preceded her in death January 1976. Naomi was a member of Bray Road Baptist Church and AARP. Among all the things she will be remembered for she will be remembered also as an excellent seamstress and for her beautiful crochete work. Surviving are her 5 children: James and wife Bernice Cox of Clio; David and wife Diane Cox of Clio; Victor and wife Cindy Cox of Mt. Morris; Joyce and husband John Tait of Mt. Morris; Juanita Tennant of Mt. Morris; 2 daughters-in-law: Ruth Cox of Davison; Ethel Cox of Montrose; 27 grandchildren; 46 great grandchildren; 26 great great grandchildren; sister: Eleanor Clampitt of Vassar; several nieces and nephews; very special friends: Neva Beach; Connie Stebbins; Nancy Hawkins; and her special friend and nurse: Kathy Bowers. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and 2 sons: Burton Cox and John Cox. 

Anne Marie Rehak
Of Gladwin , age 86, died Sunday, October 4, 1998 at Gladwin Living Center. Cremation has taken place. Interment will take place at Flint Memorial Park with a F.O.E. memorial service on Saturday October 10, 1998 at 11:00 AM. at the Chapel in Flint Memorial Park. Anne Marie was born in Eureka, South Dakota on April 4,1912 to M/M Otto and Barbara (Koehn) Froh. Anne married Anton Rehak on September 16, 1934. She was a life member of the F.O.E. #629 of Flint. Survivors are: daughter Barbara Meyerhoffer of Rhodes, MI; 2 grand-daughters Colleen Meyerhoffer of Marquette, MI; Lori (Meyerhoffer) and Husband Douglas Kellerman of Dandridge,TN; Great grandson, Joshua Lee Kellerman of Dandridge,TN; Sister, Elsa Maynard of East, Lansing, MI; And Several Nieces and Nephews. She was preceded in death by : Husband, Anton Rehak; 4 brothers Walt, Otto, Emil, William Froh; 2 sisters, Linda Barthold , Norma Cook; and Son-in-law Edward Meyerhoffer. 

Dale Delbert Princing
Of Mt. Morris, Age 76, went to be with his lord on Friday, October 2, 1998 at Hurley Medical Center. Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday October 6,1998 at Miles Martin Funeral Home at 11:00 am . Burial will take place at Flint Memorial Park after services Rev. Hal Phillips officiating. Visitation will be 6-9 on Sunday, 10 am-9 pm on Monday, and 9am till service at 11:00 am on Tuesday. Dale was born in Crump, Mi. to Mr. and Mrs. Delbert and Harriet (Barber) Princing on March 7,1922. He Married his very best friend Lois Jean Torrey on September 20, 1940, a love affair that lasted all of those 58 years. Dale was a veteran of World War II and served in the U.S. Navy aboard a munitions carrier in the Pacific. He worked at A.C. Spark Plug as a machine repairman for 42 years. Dale enjoyed sports, especially baseball, fishing, hunting, bowling, but most of all, he loved being with his family. Dale was a devoted husband, a loving father, a caring grandfather and "lots of candy" great-grandfather. Dale will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. Surviving to cherish his dear memory are: wife Lois, 3 daughters Judy and husband Steve Bliss of N.C., Joan and husband LaVaughn Lee of Genesee; and Jill Kellerman of Mt. Morris; and son Dale James of Flint; Grandchildren: Stephanie Kalscheur, Erin Bliss, Camille Glynn, Mark Wright, Kirsten Bliss, Nicole Black, Rick Glynn, David Princing, Jamie Princing, D.J. Princing, and Kimberlyn Princing. Great grand children: Bryan, Kevin, Cassidy, Jordan, and Jesse. 3 sisters, Shirley Rilenge, Donna and John Van de Bunt, Janice and Bill Barnum, brother, Pete and Donna Princing 2 sister-in-law and Althea Gorecki and Loris Princing; brother-in-law, Craig and Louise Torrey; and several nieces and nephews. Dale was preceded in death by both parents Delbert and Hattie , brother Wesley Princing; brother-in-law, Gene Gorecki, Art Beardslee, and Paul Rilenge; nephew, Doug Beardslee, and niece, Annie Torrey.
