Russell A. Goodrich 

Age 57, of Fairgrove, died Wednesday May 30, 2001, at his residence. Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Saturday June 2, 2001 at Martin Funeral Home in Fairgrove. Burial at Brookside Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home 10 am Saturday until the time of service at 1:00 PM. Russell was born July 29, 1943 in Alpena the son of Mr and Mrs. Russell and Dorothy (Geddart) Goodrich. Russell and Sandra J. Poppy Richmond were united in marriage July 29, 1977. He had been a self employed truck driver, and a member of the Grace Lutheran Church. Survivors include: wife Sandra; stepson: Gregg & wife Sara Richmond of Marquette; mother: Dorothy Goodrich of Alpena; 2 sisters and 1 brother; Sharon Holzwarth of Alpena; Rhoda Mills, Herron, MI; Bruce Goodrich, Ossineke.He was preceded in death by his father Russell. 

Charles E. "Chuck" Pomroy 

Age 40, of Mt. Morris died Wednesday May 30, 2001. Funeral services will be held 10:00 am Saturday June 2, 2001 at Miles Martin Funeral Home. Family will be present to receive friends Friday from 12 noon - 9:00 pm. If desired memorial contributions may be made to the Family, envelopes are available at the funeral home. Chuck was born October 30, 1960 in Flint the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald and Arletta (Hicks) Pomroy. He graduated from Bridgeport High School in 1978. Chuck was involved in Mt. Morris Youth Football and Baseball. He and Kimberly Berry were united in marriage September 24, 1982. Chuck was employed by PJAX Freight System. Survivors include: wife Kim, 2 sons: Joshua, and Jonathon of Mt. Morris, parents Avis and Gerald Pomroy, sisters and brother: Shelly and husband Rick Huber of Montrose, Tammy and husband Alan Renico, of Arizona, Albert Pomroy of Birch Run, Tanya and husband Dick O'Connor of Clio, 2 step sisters: Judy and husband Bob Russell of Fenton, Jackie and husband Bill Morrison of Sutton's Bay, mother in law: Loretta Graves, mother and father in law; Kathleen and James Berry, brother in laws: James and wife Terri Berry, Rick Liddell, Dennis and wife Kim Liddell, Byrne and wife Stacey Liddell, Rob and wife Beth Graves, Scott and wife Lori Graves. Special people in Chuck's life included his aunt and uncle, Cheryl and Ken Johnson of Kansas, Cousins Douglas Dewberry and the Santino family. Also many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother Arletta. 

Casey Louis Thomas 

Age 2 ½ months of Mt. Morris died Saturday May 26, 2001 at Hurley Medical Center. Casey was born March 10, 2001 the son of Cheryl Lea Denty and William H. Thomas. Funeral services will be held 11:30 am Tuesday May 29, 2001 at Miles Martin Funeral Home with Rev. Fr. Raymond Urbanek officiating. Burial at Crestwood Cemetery, Family will receive friends 2-8 pm Monday, 9 am until the time of service at 11am Tuesday. Surviving are parents: Cheryl Lea Denty and William H. Thomas; sister: Haley Ann Denty; half sister: Heather Thomas; half brother: Jorden Vinton; Grandparents: Merilyn and husband Lawrence Denty; Virginia Thomas; Great Grandmother: Rose M. Joseph; Many Aunts, Uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by great grand father George Joseph, grand father Louis Thomas, great grandparents Clarence and Myrtle Phifer, Frank and Mary Denty, Aunt Donella Thomas. 

Rodney R. Shannon 

Died Saturday morning May 26, 2001 at Covenant Cooper. Age 97, he was born March 17, 1904 in Fairgrove, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Douglas and Eleanor (Crowley) Shannon. He married Elsie E. LeValley March 24, 1929 . Rodney was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Caro and had been employed for Buick Motor Co. and Defoe Shipbuilding, but most of his life was devoted to working the family farm. In 1960 he built the first all electric house in Tuscola Co. His hobbies included hunting and beekeeping. For the past 29 years he and Elsie spent the winter months in Fla. He is survived by wife: Elsie of Fairgrove; 6 children: Donna and husband Wendell Pafford of Essexville; Douglas Shannon of Fairgrove; Mert Periard of Fla.; Mary Ann Shannon of Bay City; Marie and husband Keith J. Goslin of Gagetown; Sherry and husband Paul T. Vaughn of Mayville; 21 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a granddaugther Marsha, daughter-in-law Delores Shannon and also 2 sisters. Funeral services will take place 11:00 am Monday May 28, 2001 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Caro, Rev. Fr. Kenneth Yaroch will officiate with burial at Brookside Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Martin Funeral Home- Clark Chapel in Fairgrove from 3-9 pm, Sunday and at the church on Monday from 10:00 am until time of service. A Prayer Service will be held at the funeral home at 7:30 pm Sunday. Memorials may be directed to Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Caro. 

Morris Sowden 

Of the Millington and Vassar area, age 69, died Thursday, May 24, 2001 at St. Marys Hospital in Saginaw. Morey was born July 7, 1931 in Cass City, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Francis and Myrtle B. (Hill) Sowden. He and Elizabeth Thorpe were united in marriage April 9, 1955 at Frasier Presbyterian Church in Cass City. Morris served with the U.S. Army from 1951 until 1954, during the Korean Conflict, and was stationed in the Philippines. Morris was employed at G.M. Truck and Coach in Pontiac as a parts locator from 1965 until 1978. He and his wife Betsy owned and operated Skateway Arena in Vassar from December 1977 until March 1987. Morris was a member of the Roller Skating Rink Operations Association. He was a member of the Vassar First Presbyterian Church where he served as Church custodian since 1985. Surviving are, his wife, Betsy; daughter, Minnie L. and husband Richard Avery of Caro; son, Rayford D. and wife Maureen Sowden of Vassar; grandchildren, Dena and husband Paul Garrison of Vassar, Alaina Garlick of Vassar; Shelley Dziesinski, Kendra Leach, Jill Leach, and Stephanie Leach all of Millington; brothers and sisters, Clifford and wife Glenna Sowden of Yale, Marshall Sowden of Cass City; Myrtle and husband Dean Rabideau of Cass City, David and wife Pat Sowden of Almont, Nancy Lee Brown of Cass City, Arthur and wife Marjorie Battel of Cass City, Lawrence and wife Lillian Neaves of Las Vegas; step-mother Jenny Kappen of Cass City, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and one sister. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Sunday at Vassar First Presbyterian Church with Rev. John Becker officiating. Burial services will be 2:00pm Tuesday at the Cass City Cemetery. Family will be present at the Martin Funeral Home, Clark Chapel in Vassar to receive friends 12 noon until 9:00 pm Saturday and 9:00 am until 12 noon on Sunday. Age 49, of Birch Run, died Thursday, May 24, 2001 at her home. Funeral services will take place 4:00 pm, Sunday, May 27, 2001 from Miles Martin Funeral Home. Pastor Mike Weslock officiating with cremation to follow. Family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 12-4pm. Susan was born September 11, 1951 in Flint, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George and Delores (Pfeiffer) Parker. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. Surviving are, 3 children, Bridget Brannan, Rich and wife Shelli Brannan, Brenda and husband Chris McRae, 16 grandchildren, mother, Delores and husband Kenneth Goodroe, father, George and wife Sandy Parker, brothers, Barry and wife Julie Parker, Edward and wife Tammy Parker, George Parker, Martin and wife Tina Parker, sisters, Kathy and husband Johnny Barrett, Sherry Montelongo, step-sisters, Kendra Muelhen and Janel Phillips, grandmother, Verna Bissell, Susan was preceded in death by her grandfather, Carl Pfeiffer and her step-grandfather, Truman Bissell. 

John S. Toth 

Age 74, of Mt. Morris, died Monday, May 21, 2001 at his home. Funeral service will be held 12 noon, Thursday, May 24, 2001 from St. Mary Catholic Church. Rev. Fr. Raymond Urbanek officiating. Interment in Flint Memorial Park. Family will be present at the funeral home on Wednesday from 11-9pm. Wednesday evening, family, friends, and parish will gather at the funeral home to pray the Rosary at 7:30pm. Thursday morning, John will be taken to church to lie in state from 11 am until the time of service at 12 noon. John was born February 11, 1927 in Holden, West Virginia the son of Mr. Joseph Toth and Mrs. Julia (Kovach) Trites. He graduated from St. Mary High School in 1945. John and Barbara Johnson were united in marriage on July 31, 1948 at St. Mary Catholic Church. He volunteered for the Mt. Morris Fire Dept. for 25 years and he worked for Buick with over 43 years of service, retiring in 1982. John loved hunting and fishing and was an amateur gunsmith. Surviving are his wife Barbara; 3 children: Michael and wife Deborah Toth; Patti and husband William Parrish; Lucinda Toth and fiancé Donald Rowe; 3 grandchildren: Tiffany Hense; Rochelle and Amanda Parrish; brother: William and wife Eileen Toth; his beloved puppies, Maggie and Baby, several nieces and nephews. John was preceded in death by his parents and brother Joseph. 

Peppina Natalie Celeste Mastroeni 

Age 37, of Genesee Twp. died Sunday May 20, 2001 at Hurley Medical Center. Funeral Service will take place 2:00 p.m. Wednesday May 23, 2001 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home, Mr. Vernon Lawrence officiating with burial in Pinckney Cemetery at 4:00p.m. The family will receive friends at the Miles Martin Funeral Home Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Natalie was born March 18, 1964 . She is survived by her parents John and Norma Mastroeni of Pinckney, Michigan 2 Brothers and 3 Sisters: Jody Mastroeni and husband Frank Garber of Grand Rapids, Michigan; John and wife Gerilyn Mastroeni of Howell, Michigan; Toni and husband Daryl Wetzel of Pinckney, Michigan; Gina and husband Marv Evans of Pinckney, Michigan; Charles Mastroeni of Pinckney, Michgan; 1 Niece and 1 Nephew Violet and John Mastroeni. 

Carmen Frances Spencer
Age 87, died Saturday May 19, 2001 in Genesys Goodrich Hospice Center. Cremation has taken place. She was born September 29, 1913 in Grand Rapids, Michigan the Daughter of Mr. And Mrs. Hammond. Surviving are: 2 sons and 1 daughter: Joseph T. Spencer; Charles W. Nelson Jr. and Christine S. York. 

Esther M. Yuhos
Age 72, of Mt. Morris, died Friday, May 18, 2001 at the McLaren Hospice Center. Funeral services will take place 11:00 am, Monday, May 21, 2001 from St. Mary Catholic Church in Mt. Morris. Rev. Fr. Raymond Urbanek officiating. Interment in Calvary Cemetery. Family will be present at the funeral home to receive friends on Saturday from 6-9 pm and on Sunday from 12-9 pm. On Sunday evening, family, friends, and parish will gather at the funeral home to pray the Rosary at 7 pm. On Monday morning, Esther will be taken to church to lie in state from 10 am until the time of service at 11 am. Esther was born July 2, 1928 in Vaga, Czechoslovakia, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John and Mary (Kiacz) Forro. She and Joseph V. Yuhos were united in marriage on April 16, 1955 in Flint at St. Joseph, Church. He preceded her in death on July 27, 1994. Esther was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. Surviving are son: Paul and wife Kelly Yuhos of Montrose; daughter: Monica and husband Ron Howdyshell of Flint; son: Andrew Yuhos of Mt. Morris; daughter: Mary Ellen and husband Rich Garduno of Mesa, AZ,; son: Ronald Yuhos of Lapeer; son: Kenneth and wife Kelly Yuhos of Clio; daughter: Carol and husband Celso Aranjo of Chandler, AZ; 8 grandchildren: Angela Yuhos, Christopher Yuhos, Joseph Yuhos, Matthew Howdyshell, Danielle Yuhos, Jordan Aranjo, Alexander Aranjo, brother, Frank and wife Margaret Forro of Davison, sister, Helen Bourassa, AZ, mother, Mary Forro of Davison. Esther was preceded in death by her father, John Forro, and her husband, Joseph. 

Donald Adrian Reed 

Of Linden, formerly of Mt. Morris, died Tuesday, May 15, 2001 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. Funeral service will take place 11:00 am, Saturday, May 19, 2001 from the Miles Martin Funeral Home. Mr. Vernon Lawrence officiating with cremation to follow. Family will be present at the funeral home to receive friends on Thursday from 7-9 pm and on Friday from 11-8 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed towards James Adrian Reed. Envelope will be available at the funeral home. Donald was born June 10, 1958 in Sandusky, MI, the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Edward and Jeanne Ann (Loranger) Reed. He and Vickie Hamilton were united in marriage on October 20, 1984. Don was an avid golfer, sports fans, and a devoted family man. Surviving are his wife Vickie: son: James Adrian Reed; father: James E. and wife Patricia Reed; brothers: Thomas and wife Kim Reed and Robert and wife Sydney Reed; sister: Debra and husband John Peterson; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins, and a great niece, Nona Marie Reed. Donald was preceded in death by his mother, Jeanne Funsch, brother, Randy, and his grandparents, Adrian and Nona Reed and Thomas and Gertrude Loranger. 

Louella G. Suffel 

Age 81, of Mt. Morris died Tuesday May 15, 2001 at Genesys Hospice Center in Goodrich. Funeral services will take place 11:00 am Friday May 18, 2001 at SS Charles and Helena Catholic Church in Clio, Rev. Fr. Gerald Ploof will officiate with cremation to follow. The family will receive friends at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris from 12-9:00 pm Thursday and at the church on Friday from 10:00 am until the time of service. Family and Parish will gather at the funeral home 7:30 pm Thursday to pray the Rosary. Memorial Contributions may be directed to the Genesys Hospice Center or the Therapeutic Riding Center in Ann Arbor. Louella G. Brochu was born December 22, 1919 in Flint the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leo and Annamae Brochu. She married Ray Suffle April 8, 1978. Louella was a member of SS Charles and Helena Catholic Church. Prior to her retirement she had been employed at Fisher Body for 30 years. She is survived by 4 children: Dianne and Bruce Tite of Waterford, MI.; Mary Ann and James Lintz of Fairfield Glade, TN.; David and Ava Suffel of Flint, MI.; Ed and Adrian Suffel of Flint, MI.; 7 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 1 brother and 1 sister: Shirley King of Long Island, NY.; and David and Agnes Brochu of Grand Blanc; many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by a son, David L. Gage. 

James Albert Yoder
Age 75, of Vassar died Thursday May 10, 2001 at his residence. Memorial services will be held 11:00 am Wednesday May 23, 2001 at St. Frances Xavier Cabrini Catholic Church in Vassar with Rev. Fr. John A. Ederer officiating. Family will be present at the Martin Funeral Home in Vassar to receive friends 6-9:00 pm Monday, 12-8:00 pm Tuesday . Family, friends and parish will gather 7:00 pm Tuesday at the funeral home for a Prayer Service. Wednesday morning family and friends will gather at the funeral home for prayers at 10:35 am and then proceed to church for Mass of the Christian Burial at 11:00 am. James married Eleanor Krygrowski July 17, 1954 in Flint, she preceded him in death November 22, 1999. surviving are: 6 children: James and wife Marie Yoder of Davison; Raymond and wife Sandra Yoder of Phoenixville, PA; Anna Lenzini of Indianapolis, IN.; Helen and husband Steve Hicks of Kalamazoo; John Yoder of Fort Collins, CO.; Steve Yoder of Ft. Wayne, IN; 7 granddaughters, Theresa, Rachel, Sarah, Lauren, Katie and Jenny Yoder, and Katie Hicks; sister: Della Stiyer of Ogema, MN;Many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by 2 daughters, Teresa and Mary Eleanor. 

Jefferson Levi Welsch 

Age 82, of Mt. Morris died Sunday May 6, 2001 at Genesys Hospice. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Wednesday May 9, 2001 from Miles Martin Funeral Home, burial in Flint Memorial Park.. Family will receive friends 4-9pm Tuesday, Wednesday 9am until time of service. Memorials may be directed to Genesys Hospice in Goodrich, envelopes are available at the funeral home. Jefferson was born April 23, 1918 in Puxico, MO. the son of Mr. and Mrs. John and Annie (Davis) Welsch. He and Ruby Rodgers were united in marriage on October 13, 1940. He worked for General Motors as a welder. Surviving 3 children: Mary and husband Ernest Jackson of Flushing;Larry and Charlene Welsch of Flint; John Wayne and Judy Welsch of CA. brother and sisters: Peter and Maryann Welsch of Willis, CA.; Sylva Benson of Orangeville, CA.; Dorothy and Charles Roberts of Puxico, MO.; Louise Ragsdale of Dexter, MO.; 5 grandchildren: Kimberly Reams; April; Jeff Welsch; Rodney Welsch; Teresa Jo; 8 great grandchildren. Robert Lee Tigner 

Age 63, of Mt. Morris died Sunday May 6, 2001 at his residence. Funeral services will be held 11:00am Wednesday May 9, 2001 from First United Methodist Church, Pastor Bob Burkey and Pastor Len Lason officiating. Family will receive friends 6-9pm Monday, 9-9pm Tuesday, and at the church on Wednesday 10-11:00 am. Memorials may be directed to First United Methodist Church, envelopes are available at the funeral home and church. Robert was born April 25, 1938 in Flint the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles B. and Eva (Smedley) Tigner. He and Bonnie Ann Anklam were united in marriage April 19, 1958. He was a member of First United Methodist Church. Robert retired from Buick Foundry after 30 years of service. Surviving are wife: Bonnie Ann; 3 children: Yvonne and Rich Bouwkamp of Grand Rapids; Daniel Robert and Janice Tigner of Clio; Mark Walter Tigner of Mt. Morris; 5 grandchildren: Amanda Robert; Jeremy Ross; Nicole Richard; Danielle Lynn; Jessica Lynn; 3 sisters: Juanita Kuhen of FL.; Margaret Fredericks of Burton; Kathy and husband Earl Miller of Burton. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, Curtis and Douglas. 

Dale C. Blandford
Age 70 of Flushing passed away May 5, 2001 McLaren Regional Medical Center after a long illness. Funeral services will be held 3:00pm Tuesday May 8, 2001 from Miles Martin Funeral Home Rev. Walter Reynolds officiating with cremation to follow. Family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1-3:00 pm Tuesday. In lieu of flowers Memorials may be directed to donors favorite charity, envelopes are available at the funeral home.Dale was born on July 4, 1930 in Mt. Morris the son of Mr. and Mrs. Harold and Lenore (Hanover) Blandford. Prior to his retirement he had been employed at AC Rochester for 30 years. He also served in the U.S. Air Force. His sense of humor and fighting spirit were an inspiration to many that knew him. Surviving are 2 daughters: Paula Blandford of Fenton; Jacalyn Blandford of Texas; brother: Raymond and wife Donna Blandford; sisters: Betty Canfield and Connie LaFromboise; also several nieces and nephews. Dale's daughters would like to give special thanks to family and friends who were always willing to lend a hand. There ARE angels on earth. 

J. P. "Pete" Wordlaw 

Age 77 of Mt. Morris, died Friday May 4, 2001 at his residence. Funeral services will be held 1:30 pm Monday, May 7, 2001 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home. Pastor Larry Survance officiating, burial to follow at Flint Memorial Park. Family will be present at the funeral home to receive friends Monday morning from 11 am - 1:30 pm. If desired memorial contributions may be made in his name to McLaren Hospice. Pete was born June 2, 1923 in Boaz, Alabama the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Lamar and Verdie (Fricks) Wordlaw. Pete and Ida Lee Hill were united in marriage April 24, 1941, she preceded him in death September 18, 1985. He was employed at Fisher Body on Coldwater Road until his retirement in 1976. Pete enjoyed gardening. Surviving are: 4 children: Jimmie and husband Fred Knoodle of Harbor Springs, Marilyn (Jacki) Olin and friend Floyd Stocking Sr. of Grand Rapids, Randy and wife Cindy Wordlaw of Clio, Teresa and husband Kevin Robinson of Perry; 8 grandchildren: Shelley and David Knoodle , Timothy and Todd Olin, Tamra Sytsma, Nicholle Wordlaw, Brandon and Taylor Robinson. 8 great grandchildren; brother: Paul and wife Kenyon Wordlaw. nieces and nephews. 

Roger C. Morse
Age 56, formerly of the Flint area, died April 21, 2001 in Ruskin, Florida. Memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Thursday May 10, 2001 at Miles Martin Funeral Home. Deacon Jim Brown officiating, burial at Flint Memorial Park. Family will be present at the funeral home to receive friends Thursday morning starting at 9:30 am. Roger was born October 24, 1944 in Flint the son of Mr. and Mrs. Calvin L. and Ellen J. (Roth) Morse. Roger served with the U. S. Marine Corps Reserve. He was employed at Metal Fabricating with over 30 years of service. He enjoyed street rods, and was a member of several Car Clubs. Roger and Bethany A. Funsch were united in marriage December 10, 1966 in Flushing. He leaves to cherish his memory wife of 34 years: Bethany A. Morse; son: Robert N. Morse of Clio; mother: Ellen Morse of AuGres; sister: Linda and husband David Harmon of Twining; grandmother: Gladys Morse; special- in- laws: Janet and Don Mince; Bob and Bette Funsch. Several, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by 2 sons, infant son, and Roger Lawrence, father Calvin Morse and grandparents, Norman Morse, and Henry and Lula Roth. 

Chad P. Conner 

Age 28 of Clio died Thursady, May 3, 2001 at Hurley Medical Center. The family will receive friends at the Miles Martin Funeral Home 10am-3pm Sunday. Memorial Contributions may be directed to the family. Chad was born March 2, 1973 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri the son of Mr. And Mrs. Paul Wisdom and Bonnie Conner. He is survived by his mother and step-father: Bonnie and Larry Anger of Clio. 2 brothers and 1 sister: Amanda and John McGinnis both of Mt. Morris, Curtis Anger of Clio. Several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Howard and Margie Conner. 

Tony Asperger 

Age 80, died Thursday May 3, 2001 at Caro Communtity Hospital. Tony was born February 12, 1921 in Caro, the son of Mr. And Mrs. George and Mary (Kreps) Asperger. He married Norma B. TerBush November 03, 1943. He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Reese, served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was also a member of the Reese American Legion Post #139. Prior to his retirement he had been employed at Turnsted-Coldwater Plant for 28 years. He is survived by: Wife: Norma of Vassar; 4 Chilidren: Gary & Gail Asperger of Vassar; Toni Kay and Dennis Hadeway of Fairgrove; Tom and Nola Asperger of Vassar; Scott and Beth Ann Asperger of Walled Lake; 10 Grandchildren; 3 Great Grandchildren; 2 Brothers and 1 Sister: George and Amelia Asperger of Dalton, Ga.; Paul Asperger of Flint; Helen Poppy of Caro. He was preceded in death by3 Brothers, John , Sylvester, and Martin, and a Sister Mary. Funeral Service will take place 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Christ Lutheran Church in Reese, Rev. Ron Vereb officiating with burial in Riverside Cemetery in Vassar. The family will receive friends at the Martin Funeral Home - Clark Chapel in Vassar from 3-9 p.m. Friday and at the church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Memorial Contributions may be directed to Christ Lutheran Church or Make A Wish Foundation.

Age 83, of Mt. Morris, died Tuesday, May 1, 2001 at the Frankenmuth Care Center. Age 83, of Mt. Morris, died Tuesday, May 1, 2001 at the Frankenmuth Care Center. Funeral services will take place 3:00 pm, Friday, May 4, 2001 from the Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris. Mr. Vernon Lawrence officiating. Burial in Montrose Cemetery. Family will be present at the funeral home to receive friends from 6-9 pm Thursday, and on Friday from 12 noon until the time of service at 3:00pm. Donna was born January 28, 1918 in Mt. Morris, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Claude and Bessie (Leland) Rounds. She married Elisha A. Beach on Dec. 18, 1937 in Flint, the two divorced on March 29, 1948. She then married John Harvey on April 12, 1967, he preceded her in death on August 13, 1967. Surviving are, her son, Rex Beach, 2 grandchildren, Ronnie Dean Beach and Trent Lee and wife Dawn Lynn Beach, 1 great granddaughter, Noel Harris, sister, Rhea Mardell Mead, several nieces and nephews.
