AMLEY, Louis Vern, 86, of Oscoda died Friday, Feb. 25, 2000 at the Iosco Medical Care Facility. He is survived by a son, Terrance of Flint; a brother, Milton of Oscoda; and a sister, Bonnie Benard of Mesa, Ariz.; two grandchildren, Michelle and Jeff; and four great-grandchildren. Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. today and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday with a 7:30 p.m. scripture service at the Buresh Chapel of the Buresh-Bennett Funeral Home, Oscoda. Visitation continues from 10:30-11 a.m. Monday at the Sacred Heart Church. Services at 11 a.m. Monday at the church with the Rev. James Brucksch officiating. Interment in Sacred Heart Cemetery. 

ANDERSON, Ione A., 82, of 1320 First died Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2000 at home. She is survived by her husband, Robert; a son, Duane R. and wife Sharon of Alpena; a daughter, Carolyn I. (Mrs. Larry) Gilliam of Florida; three grandchildren, Pamela (Mrs. Duane) Courtright of Gaylord, Duane E. and wife Jill Anderson of Ohio, and Lancer and wife Melissa Gilliam of Washington; six great-grandchildren; a brother, Gerald McKie of Alpena; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Anderson's body has been taken from the Bannan Funeral Home for cremation. Services at 11 a.m. Sept. 25 at St. Paul Lutheran Church with Leslie Nye officiating. 

COLLARD, Gordon, 79, of Atlanta died Thursday, Feb. 3, 2000 at home. His survived by his wife, Muriel; a son, Robert of Anchorage, Alaska; and two brothers, Ralph of Cadillac and Frank of Detroit.A Masonic memorial service and Order of Eastern Star service will be held today beginning at 7 p.m. at the Green Funeral Home. Services at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with the Rev. Joy Prasad officiating. Interment in Briley Township Cemetery. 

CONLEY, Dr. Margaret C., of Broomfield, Colo., formerly of Posen, died Jan. 30, 2000. She is survived by two brothers, James and John; four sisters, Kathleen, Maxine and Ginny Centala and Patricia Nelan; a sister-in-law, Gloria Malsam; two nieces; and one nephew. Services were held at Horan & McConaty Funeral Home in Thornton, Colo. 

CARVO, E. Jennie, 94, of Flint, formerly of Spruce and Black River, died Thursday, March 30, 2000 in Flint. She is survived by two daughters, Karen (Mrs. Rick) Parker of Denver, Colo. and Jeannette LeTourneau of Kawkawlin; four sons, Robert and wife Margaret Carvo of Flint, Keith Carvo of Swartz Creek, Vern Gauthier of Long Lake and Ken Gauthier of Ossineke; 22 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. today and 2-9 p.m. Sunday at Gillies Funeral Home where a rosary will be said Sunday evening. Visitation continues from 10-11 a.m. Monday at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, Black River. Mass at 11 a.m. Monday at the church. Interment in Calvary Cemetery, Black River. 

CHRISTENSEN, Ida, 86, of Alpena died Tuesday, March 28, 2000 at Tendercare Alpena. She is survived by three sons, Donald and wife Paula and Gary, both of Alpena, and Thomas and wife Casey of Ventura, Calif.; three daughters, Pat (Mrs. Harry) Domke of Herron, Susan (Mrs. Randall) Drake of Camarillo, Calif., and Mary (Mrs. Robert) Lang of Alpena; 15 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; a brother, John Przeslawski of Alpena; and three sisters, Alice Kowalski, Grace Niedbala and Regina Swallow, all of Alpena. Friends may call from 2-9 p.m. Sunday at the Wachterhauser Funeral Home. Services at 11 a.m. Monday at Grace Lutheran Church with the Rev. Owen Williams officiating. Interment in Grace Lutheran Cemetery. 

CHAMBERS, Frances (Pastalaniec), 86, of Burbank, Calif., died Sunday, Feb. 11, 2001, at St. Elizabeth Convalescent Home. She is survived by two sisters, Anna Mae Rucinski and Eleanor (Mrs. Gerald) McKie, both of Alpena; a brother, Edward Pastalaniec of Wyoming, Mich.; and several nieces and nephews. 

FERRANDO, Frank John, 85, of Cheboygan died Sunday, Feb. 27, 2000, at Northern Michigan Hospital in Petoskey. He is survived by his wife, Viola McWhirter; a daughter, Barbara Lentini; and a son, Paul Ferrando. The Nordman Funeral Home in Cheboygan is handling the funeral arrangements. Interment in Evergreen Cemetery.
