ETHEL MARY REYNOLDS OF NORTH CHELMSFORD
Mrs. Ethel M. Reynolds of North Chelmsford died on January 20, 2000 at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington, MA.
She was married to Mr. Alexander F. Reynolds who died April 20,1969. 
Born in Lowell, on June 7,1911 a daughter of Anthony M. and Susan V.(Monahan) Meade. She was a graduate of Lowell High School with the class of 1930.
She was employed at Fort Devens during WW II after which she went to work as an inspector with the Merrimack Mills and then Raytheon Corp. in Waltham and Bedford retiring in 1976 after 24 years.
Mrs. Reynolds was a communicant of St John the Evangelist Church of North Chelmsford.
She was a member of the Blessed Virgin Sodality of St John's and a member of the Chelmsford Senior Citizen Club.
Mrs. Reynolds was the sister of the late James Meade, Helene E. O'Neil, Grace F. Ouellette, Annabelle P. Conlin, and Paul Meade.
She is survived by a daughter, Maureen M. and her husband Frank Vyvlecka of Jourdanton, TX, a son F. Meade and his wife Eileen Reynolds, of Lexington, MA., a sisters-in-law Ruth Meade of Lowell, and a brother-in-law George H. O'Neil of North Chelmsford, seven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

MARY L. RODDY OF PEPPERELL
Mrs. Mary L. (Sousa) Roddy of Pepperell, MA. died Jan. 28, 2000 at her home.
She was married to the late John T. Roddy who died on April 18, 1989. 
Born in Lowell MA. on Aug. 3, 1914, the daughter of the late Manuel and Isabelle (Perreria) Sousa. She was a graduate of Chelmsford High School with the class of 1932, the Worcester Hospital School of Nursing with the class of 1935, and Lowell Commercial College.
She has lived in Pepperell, MA. for the past 38 years and prior to that she lived in Lowell, MA.
She was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church and St. Anthony's Church in Lowell, MA, and St. Joseph's Church in Pepperell, MA.
She is survived by a daughter and her husband Maureen L. and Thomas Dalton of Litchfield, NH, and two sons John T. and his wife Gloria (Gagnon) Roddy of Townsend, MA, and James A. Roddy of Pepperell, MA, with whom she made her home, three sisters Auriela Sousa, Clarice Sousa and Isabel and her husband John McGonigle all of East Chelmsford, MA, and six brothers Albert Sousa of Sanford, ME, Anthony Sousa, John and his wife Edith Sousa, Michael and his wife Ann Sousa, and James and his wife Ruth Sousa all of Chelmsford, MA, and Alfred and Viola Sousa of North Billerica, MA, a sister-in-law Mary Sousa of Chelmsford, nine grandchildren, Thomas Dalton of New Boston, NH, James Dalton of Derry, NH, Robert Dalton of Goffstown, NH, Kathleen Lupien of Manchester, NH, Deborah Dalton of Litchfield, NH, and Amy Roddy, Kathryn Roddy, John Roddy and Rebecca Roddy all of Townsend, MA, six great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

MABEL K. DOWLING OF LOWELL
Mrs. Mabel K. (Rourke) Dowling mother of well known Lowell-Pawtucketville family died Jan. 30, 2000 at the Saints Memorial Medical Center in Lowell, MA.
She was married to the late John F. Dowling who died in 1967. 
Born in Lowell, MA. on Nov. 5, 1908, the daughter of the late Francis and Telia (Reed) Rourke. She was educated in the Lowell School System.
For many years she was employed as a cafeteria Worker at Reilly and Lowell High Schools retiring in 1973.
She was a communicant of St. Rita's Shrine in Lowell.
She is survived by a daughter and her husband Barbara and William Hodge of Lowell, three sons John and his wife Joan (Hanney) Dowling, James Dowling all of Lowell, and Brendan and his wife Sally (Pond) Dowling of Groton, MA., and a daughter-in-law Frances Dowling of Lowell, MA., and a brother Frederick and his wife Margaret Rourke of Dracut, MA., twelve grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
She was the mother of the late Brian Dowling of Lowell, MA.

RICHARD W. COUGHLIN OF WESTFORD
Mr. Richard W. Coughlin of Westford, died February 3, 2000 at home.
He was married to Mrs. Joyce P. Baudreau with whom he would have celebrated their 42nd wedding anniversary on July 19, 2000. 
Born in Arlington, MA, on October 27, 1931, the son of the late Arthur and Josephine (Talamona) Coughlin. He was a graduate of Arlington High School with the class of 1949.
He served with the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. 
He co-owned and operated, a family business - Holovak & Coughlin Sporting Goods - in Arlington, MA, until his recent retirement.
He was a communicant of St. Catherine's Church of Westford.
He was an avid golfer and a member of the Nabanasset Lake Country Club in Westford, and a past member of the Chelmsford Lodge of Elks.
Besides his wife he is survived by five daughters and their husbands, Catherine Coughlin of Nashua, NH, Cynthia and Hossein Moradipour of Brentwood, TN, Carole and Richard Morse of Centerville, MA, Christine and Bruce Swanton of North Andover, MA, and Caryn and Joseph Ross of Newbury, MA, two brothers, Robert and his wife Eleanor Coughlin of Woburn, MA, and Edward and Dianne Coughlin of Arlington, MA, nine grandchildren, Daniel and Andrew Morse, Courtney, Ashley, and Katelyn Moradipour, Alexander and Jonathan Swanton, and Casey and Samuel Ross, and many nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late Arthur F. Coughlin, Jr. of Arlington, MA.

IRENE E. RYAN RETIRED RYAN FLORIST
Mrs. Irene E. (Moriarty) Ryan of Lowell died Feb. 5, 2000 at the
Saints Memorial Medical Center.
She was married to Mr. Frederick Ryan with whom she would have celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary on Aug. 26. 
Born in Lowell, MA. on June 1, 1911, the daughter of the late Florance and Ethel (Crothers) Moriarty. She was educated in the Lowell School System. 
She was the owner operator of the Ryan Florist Shop in Lowell for many years, retiring in 1980.
She was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church in Lowell.
She was a member of the Mt. Pleasant Country Club, and was an active member of the country clubs cribbage tournament, and the "45" tournament. She was a past member of the Lowell Florist Association, the Lowell Better Business Bureau. 
Besides her husband she is survived by two daughters Rene and her husband Donald Walsh of Lowell, MA., and Gail Beauchesne of Derry, NH., and two sons Rick and his wife Linda (Burke) Ryan of Lowell, and Jerry and his wife Patricia (Joyce) Ryan of Lowell, MA., two sisters Thelma and her husband William McCarthy of GA., and Shirley Deschaine of Chelmsford, MA., and a brother George and his wife Barbara Moriarty of Chelmsford, MA., and fourteen grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Blanche Allen of Saugus, MA., Florence E. McEnaney of North Chelmsford, James Moriarty of Chelmsford, and John Moriarty of Medford, MA.

RITA B. COBLEIGH OF TYNGSBORO
Mrs. Rita B. (LeBlanc) Cobleigh of Tyngsboro died Feb. 7, 2000 at her home.
She was married to Frank E. Cobleigh with whom she celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary on Jan. 27, 2000. 
Born in Lowell, MA. on Aug. 20, 1924, the daughter of the late Adelard J. and Alice P. (Lamarre) LeBlanc. She was a graduate of Lowell High School with the class of 1942, and Nashua Business College with the class of 1954.
Over the years she was employed with Edgcombe Steel Co. in Nashua, NH., Lowell Technological Institute Book Store as manager, and the K.H. Fredricks Co. in Wilmington, MA., retiring as the Treasurer in 1985. 
She was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church of North Chelmsford, MA.
She was a long time volunteer at the Tyngsboro Library and in the past was a Girl Scout Leader.
Besides her husband she is survived by two daughters Michelle E. and her husband James Healy of Singapore, and Maureen E. Cobleigh of Tyngsboro, and one sister Pauline M. and her husband Albert Gervais of Tyngsboro, and two brothers Roger E. and his wife Patricia (Foye) LeBlanc of Hollis, NH., and Dennis E. and his wife Carol (Bickford) LeBlanc of Tyngsboro, one granddaughter and her husband Leigh Ann Healy-Davis and Thomas Davis, and many nieces and nephews.

Mr. Raymond H. Russell of Lowell, died February 11, 2000 at the
Lowell General Hospital, Lowell.
He was married to the late Mrs. Elizabeth L. (Ahearn) Russell who died July 13, 1999. 
Born in Lowell, on March 23, 1918, the son of the late Howard and Ida (Hubley) Russell. He attended the Lowell School System.
He served with the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. 
He was employed with the Ames Worsted Mills in Lowell; Burbeck's Mills Dairy in Lowell, and the Lowell Liquor Mart, which he managed for many years until his retirement in 1988.
He was a member and past secretary of the Tyngsboro Sportsman's Club.
He is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Donald and M. She was a retiree of the Internal Revenue Service in Andover, MA.
She was a communicant of Immaculate Conception Church of Lowell, MA.

RITA F. GRAVES OF LOWELL
Mrs. Rita F. (LaFlamme) Graves of Lowell, died February 13, 2000 at the Saints Memorial Medical Center in Lowell.
Born in Lowell, on November 7, 1926, the daughter of the late Charles and Fabiola (Beaudette) LaFlamme. She was a graduate of Lowell High School and Middlesex Community College where she earned an Associates Degree.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, William and Patricia Graves of Voorhees, NJ, a daughter, Cheryl Graves of Lowell, four brothers, Charles and his wife Phyllis LaFlamme, John and his wife Doris LaFlamme, and James LaFlamme all of Lowell, and Richard and his wife Gloria LaFlamme of Lowell and Florida, and two grandchildren, Peter and Daniel Graves.
Cremation to take place at Linwood Crematory in Haverhill, MA. 

JOHN F. LAFLAMME OF LOWELL
Mr. John F. LaFlamme of Lowell, died February 25, 2000 at Saints Memorial Medical Center in Lowell.
He was married to Mrs. Doris (Hetu) LaFlamme with whom he celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on December 11. 
Born in Lowell, on February 28, 1928, the son of the late Charles and Fabiola (Beaudette) LaFlamme. He was a graduate of the Lowell Trade School with the class of 1945.
He served with the U.S. Army during World War II. 
He was employed in the Trucking Industry with Teamsters Local #633 in Manchester, NH.
He was a communicant of the Sacred Heart Church of Lowell.
Mr. LaFlamme was an avid camper.
Besides his wife he is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, John F. and Barbara J. (Barris) LaFlamme of Pepperell, a daughter and son-in-law, Gail M. and Ken R. Low of Hudson, NH, three grandchildren, Marc T. LaFlamme of Pepperell, and Ashley E. Low and Christopher K. Low both of Hudson, NH, three brothers, Charles and Phyllis LaFlamme of Lowell, Richard and Gloria LaFlamme of Lowell and Florida, and James LaFlamme of Lowell, and many nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late Robert LaFlamme of Lowell, who died while serving his country during the Vietnam War, and Rita (LaFlamme) Graves of Lowell, who died February 13, 2000.

He was married to the late Mrs. Edith M. (Gomes) Scott who died March 19, 1999. 
Born in Georgetown, KY, on January 30, 1922, the son of the late Joseph E. and Virginia (McCracken) Scott. 
He served with the U.S. Navy during World War II and the Korean Conflict. 
He was employed with the Perkins Institute for the blind as a Machinist.
He was a member of the Mason's since 1956, Ancon Lodge, A.F. & A.M., Balboa, Representative of Panama, the Alton Senior Citizens Club in Alton, NH, a life member of the VFW Post 11163, Alton, NH, the American Legion, Post 72 - Claude R. Batcheld - in Alton, NH, and the Fleet Reserve Association in Alexandria, VA.
He is survived by a son, Robert L. Scott, Jr., of Acton, MA, a brother, Joseph Scott of Chicago, IL, two sisters, Ruth Heath of California, and Dorothy Makepeace of Kentucky, two sisters-in-law, Olive Looney of Chelmsford, MA, and Isabel Freitas of Rochester, NY, and several nieces and nephews.
