THOMAS F. "TINY" SHEEHAN, JR.
1998 INDUCTEE IN THE LOWELL HIGH SCHOOL ATHLETIC HALL OF FAME
Mr. Thomas F. "TINY" Sheehan, Jr. of Hampton, NH, formerly
of Lowell, MA, died July 1, 1999 at the Exeter Hospital in Exeter,
NH.
He was married to Mrs. Joyce (Davis) Sheehan, the Hampton
Tax Collector, with whom he would have celebrated their 35th
wedding anniversary on Sept. 16.
Born in Lowell, MA, on Aug. 10, 1942, the son of Mrs. Irene
(Moran) Sheehan of Pelham, NH, and the late Thomas F. Sheehan Sr. 
He was a graduate of Lowell High School with the class of 1961.
He was inducted into the Lowell High School Hall of Fame in 1998.
He also attended the Nebraska State College. While he was in high
school he played Basketball, Baseball, and Football, and played
Semi Pro Football with the Nashua Colts and was team Captain, and
also played baseball with the Nashua Dodgers.
He served as a police officer with the University of Lowell
retiring in 1995.
He was a communicant of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal
Church in Hampton, NH. He enjoyed golf and was a past member
of the Wentworth by the Sea Country Club in Rye, NH.
Besides his wife and mother he is survived by two sons,
Thomas F. and his wife Susan (Cote) Sheehan, III of Dover, NH,
and Ryan D. Sheehan of Hampton, NH, a student at the Winnacunnet
High School, two daughters, Kelly Ann and her husband Shaun
Livingston of Chelmsford, and Kimberly and her husband William
Cross of Chesapeake, VA, three brothers John Sheehan of Lowell,
James and his wife Susan (Coulter) Sheehan of Kingston, NH, and
Robert and his wife Diane (Flaherty) of Lowell, two sisters,
Sharon and her husband William Witts of Lowell, and Donna and her
husband Ronald Abisi of Pelham, NH, 5 grandchildren, William
Cross, Jr., Patrick Cross, Meaghan Cross, Kaja Livingston, and
Devon Livingston, and many nieces and nephews.

MARY J. JOHNSON OF TYNGSBORO
Mrs. Mary J. (Philbin) Johnson of Tyngsboro, MA. died July
2, 1999 at her home in Tyngsboro.
She was the wife of Mr. Allan Johnson, II of Summerfield,
FL.
Born in Boston, MA, on Dec. 13, 1926, the daughter of the
late Henry J. and Sarah (Singer) Philbin. She was a graduate of
Mission High School with the class of 1945.
She was employed at the same bank location, at Drum Hill in
Chelmsford, first with Union National Bank, Bank of New England,
and then Fleet Bank, retiring in 1993.
She was a communicant of St. Catherine's Church of Westford,
MA.
She was a member of Tyngsboro Senior Citizens Club.
She is survived by three daughters Jeannie Johnson of
Allenstown, NH, Jacqueline and her husband Edmund Schunemann of
Londonderry, NH, and Joann Johnson and her friend Richard Pais
of Nashua, NH, five sons Allan and his wife Diane Johnson, III
of Hull, GA, Michael Johnson of Tyngsboro, David and his wife
Erika Johnson of Doverden, Germany, Timothy and Marlene Johnson
of Tyngsboro, and Mark and Susan Johnson of Raymond, NH, three
daughter-in-laws Kathleen Johnson of Lowell, Francine Johnson of
Nashua, NH, and Darlene Johnson of Raymond, NH, a brother and his
wife John and Irma Philbin of IN, 14 grandchildren, and 11 great
grandchildren.
She was the sister of the late Bernice Burke of OH, Ruth
O'Toole and Dorothy Philbin both of Boston, and Joseph Philbin of
WA.

Leonell J. Rodrigue OF North Chelmsford
Mr. Leonell J. Rodrigue of North Chelmsford, died July
4,1999 at the Lowell General Hospital.
He was married to Mrs. Evelyn C. (Lanoie) (MacLean) Rodrigue
with whom he would have celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary
on July 12th. 
Born in Lowell, on June 29,1913, the son of the late Arthur
N. and Donilda P. (Gelineau) Rodrigue. He attended Lowell
Schools. 
Mr. Rodrigue was employed with the Boston Naval Shipyard as a
shipfitter for many years prior to becoming a self employed
building contractor for twelve years, then returning to the
shipyard until retirement in 1978.
He was a communicant of St John the Evangelist Church in
North Chelmsford.
Mr. Rodrigue was a member of the Chelmsford Country Club, the
Knickerbocker Club, a Charter member of the Chelmsford Elks, a
former member of St Margaret's Holy Name Society, and the Lowell
Knights of Columbus.
He loved to play golf, and watch baseball, he was a diehard
Red Sox Fan, and he loved to read.
Besides his wife he is survived by two sons and a daughter
in law, Michael and Joanne Rodrigue of Nashua, John Rodrigue of
Lowell, two daughters and sons in law, Jacquelyn and Harry Ayotte
of North Chelmsford, Lenore and Miguel Cadena of
Mercedes, Texas, two brothers, Bro. Norbert Rodrigue F.M.S. of
Brownsville, Texas, Raymond and Irene Rodrigue of Lowell, two
sisters, Antoinette Martin of Lompoc, California, Julliette Julien
of Lowell, eleven grandchildren, David and Patricia Ayotte of
Chelmsford, Douglas and Karen Ayotte of Franklin, Ma, Dean and Sue

CHARLOTTE L. QUINN OF EAST CHELMSFORD
Mrs. Charlotte L. (Waite) Quinn of East Chelmsford died July
6, 1999 at the Saints Memorial Medical Center in Lowell, MA.
She was married to the late Daniel M. Quinn who died on July
6, 1988. 
Born in Concord, MA. on Aug. 7, 1918, the daughter of the
late Myron P. and Mary E. (Meagher) Waite. She was a graduate of
Lowell High School with the class of 1936, and also graduated
from Lowell Commercial College.
She was employed over the years with W.C.A.P. as a writer,
Educator Crax Co., and for over thirty years she worked with her
husband at the Quinn Pak Candies, Inc. all in Lowell. 
She was a communicant of St. Mary's Church in Chelmsford,
MA., and the Sacred Heart Church in Lowell, MA.
She is survived by a daughter Kathleen P. and her husband
Leland P. Stanford, Jr. of Nashua, two sons and a daughter-in-law
David Quinn of Hillsboro, NH, and Michael and his wife Jane
(Hannon) Quinn of Hampstead, NH, two brothers and their wives
Paul and Jean (Wadleigh) Waite of Melbourne, FL, and William H.
and Joan (Flanders) Waite of Bedford, MA, four grandchildren,
Matthew Stanford and Meredith Stanford, both of Nashua, NH, and
Adam Quinn and Devan Quinn both of Hampstead, NH, several nieces

She was the mother of the late Mary Ann Sougnez of
Chelmsford who died in 1985.

WALTER A. SHAW OF WESTFORD
Mr. Walter A. Shaw of Westford, died July 7, 1999 at Lowell
General Hospital.
He was married to Mrs. Constance B. (Cassidy) Shaw with whom
he celebrated their 47th wedding anniversary on January 20. 
Born in Lowell, on March 12, 1928, the son of the late
Walter D. and Maryellen (Murphy) Shaw. He was educated in the
Lowell School System.
He served with the U.S. Navy and then with the U.S. Army
during the Korean Conflict. 
He was employed with the U.S. Bunting Mills, the Uxbridge
Mills, and the J.P. Stevens Mills in Dracut, in his earlier
years. Mr. Shaw had retired from the V.A. Hospital in Bedford,
MA, in 1980.
He was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church of
North Chelmsford.
He was a member of the Lowell Chapter of the Knights of
Columbus in his early years.
Besides his wife he is survived by a son, Bryan W. and his
wife Diane Shaw of Chelmsford, two brothers, John and his wife
RoseMary Shaw of Lowell and Paul and his wife Elizabeth Shaw of
Dracut, a grandson, Nicholas Shaw of Chelmsford, a granddaughter,
Michaela Shaw of Chelmsford, and many nieces and nephews.

Mr. Thomas A."RED" Willard of Tyngsboro, died July 10, 1999
at the Harborside - Northwood Nursing Home in Bedford, NH.
He was married to the late Mrs. Mary F. (Connolly) (Munroe)
Willard who died September 23, 1993. 
Born in Boston, MA, on June 26, 1913, the son of the late
David U. and Helen (Jones) Willard. He was a graduate of the
Boston School System.
He served with the U.S. Coast Guard. 
He was employed with the Boston Naval Yard for 33 years as a
Lead Man of Riggers.
He was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church of
North Chelmsford.
Mr. Willard was an avid reader, and enjoyed music and the
opera.
He was the beloved father of David and Amelia Willard of
Tucson, AZ, Brenda Falvey and Family of Peabody, MA, and Peggy
and Harry Hrdlicka and family of Tucson, AZ, beloved step-father
of Bunny and Dixon Knight and family of North Chelmsford, Mary
and Jim Niham and family of Chelmsford, Geri and Paul McPhillips
and family of Dunstable, Barbara and Dennis Pickering and family
of North Chelmsford, Frank and Maureen Munroe and family of
Tewksbury, and George and Carol Munroe and family of Dunstable,

He was the beloved father of the late Steven Willard of
Lowell, the beloved brother of the late David Willard of

1999 at her home.
She was married to Mr. Raymond H. Russell with whom she
would have celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary on August
5th. 
Born in Lowell, on October 25, 1918, the daughter of the
late George J. and Mary A. (Henderson) Ahearn. She was a
graduate of Lowell High School with the class of 1936.
She was employed with Ligetts Drug Store in Lowell,
Transport Clearance Co. in Lowell, and retiring from the Fred C.
Church Insurance Co. in Lowell in 1980.
She was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church of
North Chelmsford.

Mr. Richard C. Nichols of Tyngsboro, MA. died July 20, 1999
at his home after a long illness.
He was married to Mrs. Patricia M. (Thomson) Nichols with
whom he celebrated their 42nd wedding anniversary on June 15. 
Born in Providence, RI. on June. 16, 1936, the son of the
late Richard C. & Margaret E. (Livingstone) Nichols Sr. He was a
graduate of Pawtucket East High School with the class of 1954,
and attended Lowell Technological Institute. 
Over the years he was employed as a plastics engineer with
Continental Can Co. in Nashua, NH., and The Dev-Tech Labs. in
Amherst, NH. and retired in 1993 because of illness.
Besides his wife he is survived by a daughter & her husband
Donna L. & Montgomery Grimes of Westford, MA., a son Richard
Nichols of Westford, MA., and a daughter-in-law Mrs. Donna (Kerr)
Nichols of Dunstable, three sisters and their husbands Doris &
Raymond Tameo of Attleboro, MA., Muriel & Frank Valvano of
Rehoboth, MA., & Eleanor & Lee Chase of Norton, MA., and a
brother Kenneth Nichols of Seekonk, MA., and eight grandchildren
Candice, Tony, David, Chris, Sarah, Robert, Daniel, Matthew, and
many nieces & nephews.
He was the father of the late Robert T. Nichols of
Dunstable, MA. who died in 1995 at the age of 33.

THOMAS MOOREHOUSE, JR. OF CHELMSFORD
Mr. Thomas Moorehouse, Jr. of Chelmsford, died July 23, 1999
at the Health South - St. Joseph's Health Care Center in Lowell.
He was married to Mrs. Natalie M. (Feindel) Moorehouse with
whom he would have celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary on
August 10, 1999. 
Born in Waltham, MA, on January 27, 1920, the son of the
late Thomas and Jane (Pullen) Moorehouse. He was a graduate of
Lowell High School with the class of 1937.
He served with the U.S. Air Corps during World War II. 
He was employed with the G.E. Corp. in Lowell for over 38
years until his retirement in 1982.
He was a member of the Chelmsford Senior Citizens Center.
Besides his wife he is survived by a son and daughter-in-
law, David and Maureen (Casey) Moorehouse of Shrewsbury, MA, a
brother, Robert Moorheouse of Chelmsford.
He was the brother of the late Alvin Moorehouse of Penns
Grove, NJ, Lester Moorehouse of Lowell, Dorothy Brotz of
Shelburne, VT, Marion Parker of Chelmsford, and Doris Moorehouse
of Waltham, MA. Private Services will be held at the convenience

RUTH E."TOOTIE" KISLEY OF TYNGSBORO
Mrs. Ruth E. "Tootie" (Lorman) Kisley of Tyngsboro, MA. died
July 24, 1999 at her home.
She was married to Mr. Anthony Kisley with whom she would
have celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary on Sept. 21. 
Born in Charlton, MA. on Oct. 27, 1928, the daughter of the
late Charles and Hazel (Kingston) Lorman. She was a graduate of
Lowell High School with the class of 1945.
She was employed over the years as a bookkeeper with Greenridge Turkey Farm in Nashua, Sherburne Lumber Co. in Tyngsboro, MA., and Hanover Leather & Findings, Inc. in Lowell, from where she retired in 1991.
She was a attended of Tyngsboro Evangelical Congregational
Church of Tyngsboro, MA.
Earlier in her life she was a Girl Scout Leader in
Tyngsboro.
She was a member of the Tyngsboro American Legion Aux. Post
247, and was a worker at the polls during elections in Tyngsboro,
MA.
Besides her husband she is survived by two daughters
Kathleen (Kisley) Smith of Tyngsboro, MA., and Karen (Kisley) and
her husband Joseph Callis of Scituate, MA., and a son Anthony
Kisley Jr. of Willimantic, CT., six grandchildren Melissa Fetzer,
Angela Fetzer, Danielle Smith, Michelle Smith, Stephanie Callis,
and Ashley Callis, and three brothers Wayne Lorman of Weare, NH.,
Richard and his wife Janet (Clarke) Lorman, and Frederick and his
wife Claire (Rivard) Lorman all of Tyngsboro, MA., and brother
and sister-in-laws Gloria (Campbell) (Lorman) Kidwiler of Palm
Bay, FL., Jean and James Kane of Sun City Center, FL., Sophie
Polubinski of West Chelmsford, and Ernest and Estelle Kisley of

She was the sister of the late Gerald Lorman of Palm Bay,
FL. who died in 1993, and Charles Lorman Jr. of Tyngsboro who

EUGENE A. DUSSAULT OF SEDEN, ME. 
Mr. Eugene A. Dussault of Sweden, ME. and Florida, formerly
of Wilmington, MA., and Hanover, MA. died July 23, 1999, at
Beacon Place Hospice of Greensboro, NC.
He was married to Mrs. Rita (Kennedy) Dussault with whom he
would have celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary on April
7th. 
Born in Somerville, MA, on June 20, 1928, the son of the
late Albert and Dorothy (Stacey) Dussault. He was a graduate
of Somerville High School with the class of 1946.
He was employed as a sheet-metal fabricator in Wilmington,
and then as a Shop Teacher with the South Shore Vocational
Technical High School from 1965 until his retirement in 1985.
He was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church in Sweden, ME.
He was a member of the Moose Club in Florida. Before his
move to Florida he resided in Wilmington, MA, from 1954 until
1965, Hanover, MA, from 1965 until 1985, then to Sweden, ME. 
Besides his wife he is survived by three sons and two
daughters-in-law, Eugene and Patricia Dussault and Richard and
Nancy Dussault all of Wilmington, and Lawrence Dussault of
Plymouth, MA, a daughter and son-in-law, Denise and Leonard
Sweeney of Greenboro, NC, three brothers, Melvin and his wife

and Harriet (Stewart) Buchanan of North Chelmsford. He was a
graduate of Lawrence Academy in Groton with the class of 1944,
and received a B.A. Degree in Accounting from Bentley College
with the class of 1950.
He owned and operated for over 45 years the Graniteville
Foundry Co. in Westford.
He was a member of the North Chelmsford Congregational
Church. He was also a member of the American Legion, Post 437 in
Nabnasset and a member, as well as serving on the Board of
Governors in the past at the Nabnasset Lake Country Club in
Westford, and was also a member of the Mt. Pleasant Country Club
in Lowell. 
Besides his wife he is survived by two sons and daughters-
in-law, Harold S. and Debra Buchanan, and Stephen T. and Diane
Buchanan of Littleton, three daughters and sons-in-law, Cynthia
L. and Frank Kerstetter of Englewood, CO., Linda J. and Thomas
Coppinger of Salem, NH, and Leslie and Rick Danielson of Woburn,
a brother, Warren T. and his wife "Jesse" Buchanan of Seabrook,
NH, a sister, Lorraine (Domey) (Lachut) Hollimon of Poway, CA,
and 9 grandchildren and one on the way.

Born in Watertown, MA. on July 29, 1915, the son of the late
Thomas and Alice (Hoey) Naien. He was a graduate of St. Mary's
High School in Waltham, MA. with the class of 1932, and received
a BA Degree from Boston College, and graduated from St. John's
Seminary in Brighton, MA. with the class of 1942.
Over the years he served at St. Peter's Church in Plymouth,
MA., Sacred Heart Church in Middleboro, MA., St. Thomas Church in
Logan, UT., Holy Rosary Church in Bingham, UT., Lourde's Church
in Salt Lake City, UT., St. Joseph's Church, West End Boston,
MA., St. Francis de Sales in Charlestown, MA., St. Joseph's
Church in Wakefield, MA., St, Therese's Church and St. Mary's
Church both in Dracut, MA., and was the Pastor of Sacred Heart
Church in Groton, MA. from 1968 to 1983. He is survived by two
sister laws Margaret Navin of Falmouth, MA., and Eileen Navien of
Groton, MA., and many nieces and nephews, and many grandnieces
and nephews. He was the brother of the late Paul Navin of
Falmouth, MA., Charles Navien of Groton, MA., and Francis Navien
of Waltham, MA.

U.S. AIR FORCE PARAMEDIC
Mr. James W. Thompson Jr. of Brockton, MA died July 29, 1999
at his home unexpectedly.
Born in Lowell, MA on November 7, 1958, the son of
James and Mildred (Carbonneau) Thompson Sr. of Lowell. He was a
graduate of St. Joseph's High School in Lowell with the class of
1976.
He served as a paramedic with the U.S. Air Force from 1978
until 1986. 
He was employed for many years with Arlin Manufacturing in
Lowell. 
He was a communicant of Notre Dame De Lourdes Church of
Lowell, MA.
Besides his parents he is survived by a sister and her
husband, Diana and Walter Szafran of Lowell. He is also survived
by three brothers and two sister-in-laws Daniel Thompson of
Mexico, NY, David and Kimberly Thompson of Lowell, and Dennis and
Linda Thompson of Hudson, NH., and one niece and two nephews, and
many aunts and uncles. Burial will take place in St. Catherine's
Cemetery in Westford, MA at the convenience of the family.
