Mrs. Mary Lou (Drake) Pelletier of Tyngsboro, MA died Nov. 5, 2001, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Nashua, NH.
She was married to Mr. Joseph A. Pelletier with whom she celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary on Oct. 19, 2001.
Born in Terre Haute Township, IL on Aug. 9, 1926, the daughter of the late Elmer G. and Alma (Baker) Drake. She was educated in the Chicago, IL. School System.
She was a resident of Tyngsboro all of her married life and in her early years she was a den mother with the cub scouts.
She was a communicant of St. Mary Madeline's Church.
Besides her husband she is survived by three daughters and their husbands JoAnn and Her husband Joseph Morrissey of Hudson, NH, Marlene and her husband William Duncanson of Merrimack, NH, and LuAnn and her husband Paul Angove of Greenfield, MA, and four sons Robert and his wife Susan (Gardner) Pelletier, and Brian Pelletier all of Tyngsboro, MA, Stephen and his wife Susan (Guthrie) Pelletier of Lunenburg, MA, and Joseph and his wife Melissa (LaChance) Pelletier of Litchfield, MA, two sister-in-laws Anita Pelletier of Hillsborough, NH, and Arlene and her husband Raymond Williams of Gardner, MA, and a brother-in-law Frank Midkiff of Hazelcrest, IL, and several nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Mildred Midkiff of Hazelcrest, IL, and Marguerite and her husband Bud Moore of St. Louis, MO.

LT. COLONEL ANGELO A. "AL" LAUDANI, USA, (RET)
OF CHELMSFORD
Lt. Colonel Angelo A. "Al" Laudani, USA, (RET) of Chelmsford died at home on November 8, 2001.
He was the husband of the late Patricia R. (Graney) Laudani who died June 28, 1996.
Born and raised in Lawrence, MA, he attended the Lawrence Public School System and graduated from Lawrence High School in 1935. Shortly thereafter he enlisted in the Massachusetts National Guard from which he won an appointment to the U.S. Military Academy, West Point, N.Y. He graduated in 1941 earning a Bachelor of Science Degree and an appointment as a Commissioned Officer in the Regular Army. Later in his Army career, he was selected to attended and graduated from Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration in 1951, earning a Masters Degree in Business Administration.
During World War II he served with the First Army Headquarters in Europe and the United States. During the Korean Conflict he served with the 1st Cavalry Division in Korea and Japan.
Among other assignments in the Army, he saw duty in the Office of the Quartermaster General, Washington, D.C.; the Research & Development Command, Natick, MA, Supreme Headquarters, Allied Powers, Europe (SHAPE), Paris, France, and Headquarters, U.S. Strike Command, MacDill AFB, Florida.
In 1962 Colonel Laudani retired from the Army and took up residence with his family in Chelmsford. For the next 14 years he taught at Dracut High School retiring in 1977.
He was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church of North Chelmsford.
He is survived by a son, William A. Laudani of Coral Gables, FL, and two sisters, Viola Panarello of Methuen, and Theresa Capriole of Amesbury.

She was employed with Computer Vision Corp. in Bedford, MA, until her retirement.
In her youth she was a communicant of St. Charles Church of Woburn, MA.

Mr. Pat G. Ciampa of Chelmsford, MA died December 3, 2001 at Lowell General Hospital.
He was married to Mrs. Helen (Connolly) Ciampa with whom he had celebrated their 54th wedding anniversary on November 15th.
Born in Winchester, MA on May 23, 1912, the son of the late Mr. Domenic Ciampa and Mrs. Julia (Borriello) Ciampa. He was a graduate of Boston Trade High School with the class of 1929.
He was a cabinetmaker in his early years, then during World War II he worked for the Boston Naval Ship yard. He then was employed with the Tech Weld Company in Burlington as a welder until his retirement in 1968.
He was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church of Chelmsford, MA.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his son Edward Ciampa of Chelmsford, his daughter Marian and her husband James Emr of North Potomac, a sister Lydia Ciampa of Roslindale, MA, a sister-in-law Anna Ciampa of Brunswick, ME, two grandchildren, Jackie and Christopher Emr of North Potomac, MD, a niece Ann Marie and Wayne Wallace of Brunswick, ME, and a nephew, Edward and Claire Ciampa of Arlington, VA.

She was an avid sports fan and enjoyed bowling with the League of Catholic Women, and was a Life Member of T.O.P.S. # 98 in Lowell, MA, also was a member of the A.A.R.P. Spindle City Chapter 2694 in Lowell, MA.

She was pre-deceased by her husband George R. Winn who died March 9, 2000.
Born in Lowell on December 27, 1927, the daughter of the late John R. and Ethel (Greenhalgh) Canham. She was a graduate of Lowell High School with the class of 1945.
She was employed with B.T.U. of Billerica until her retirement in 1990.
She was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church of Lowell.
She was an accomplished roller skater in her early years performing in countless competitions and numerous awards. Eva enjoyed arts and crafts in her spare time she also enjoyed crocheting gifts for family and friends.
She is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law Mary E. Winn of Chelmsford, Patricia A. (Winn) and her husband Martin P. Cahill of Woburn, a sister-in-law Caroline R. She was married to Mr. Charles D. Bowles with whom she would have celebrated their 56th anniversary on Feb. 22, 2002.
Born in Saugus, MA, on Jan. 5, 1920, the daughter of the late Rufus and Hattie (Bancroft) Hartford. She was educated in the Lowell School System.
Over the years she was employed with Microwave Corp. (MACOM) of Burlington, MA, and Tewksbury State Hospital in the laundry, from where she retired in 1981.
She was a member of Highland Methodist Church in Lowell.
She was a member of Tyngsboro Senior Citizens Club and a past member of the Town Travelers Square Dance Club Dracut.

He was married to Mrs. Priscilla (Gill) Rega with whom he celebrated their 42nd wedding anniversary on June 27, 2001.
Born in Jersey City, NJ on Nov. 1, 1932, the son of the late Louis H. and Florence (Eichhorn) Rega. He was a graduate of Clifford Scott High School with the class of 1950, and received a degree in Industrial Engineering from Farleigh Dickinson University with the class of 1954.
He was employed with the Raytheon Corp. for over 35 years in So. Lowell and the last position he held before his retirement in 1992 was the Quality Assurance Manager.
He was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church and he had served as President of the church's CCD program.
He was a past Boy Scout Webeblos leader and Chelmsford Little League coach.

VERA M. LAFFERTY
OF LOWELL
Mrs. Vera M. (Shepard) Lafferty of Lowell died December 29, 2001 at Palm Manor in Chelmsford.
She was married to the late Charles J. Lafferty who died on November 6, 1953.
Born in Lowell, on January 19, 1910, the daughter of the late Joseph and Ann (Clough) Shepard. She was a graduate of Lowell High School with the class of 1928.
She was employed with the Lowell School System, at Lowell High School and the Bartlett School where she was cook manager until her retirement in January 1980.
She was a communicant of St. Rita Church, Sacred Heart Church and St. Patrick Church all in Lowell.
She was a member of the Blessed Virgin Sodality, the Lowell Senior Citizens and the Tenants Council at the Francis Gate House where she was past treasurer.
She is survived by two sons, Robert C. Lafferty of Lowell, and Gerald F. and his wife Mary Lee (Gallagher) Lafferty of Sandwich, MA, three daughters, Barbara A. McDermott of Lowell, Sr. Mary Lou Lafferty, OSF of No. Chelmsford and Charlene R. and her husband Brian J. Muscato of Tyngsboro, a brother Joseph and his wife Doris Shepard of Lowell, three sisters, Anna Fortin of Chelmsford, Eileen and her husband Theodore Potry and Mary Ricard all of Nashua, NH, ten grandchildren, among whom locally are Matthew and Patricia (DeFreitas) Muscato formerly of Tyngsboro, Shane Muscato and Meaghan Muscato of Tyngsboro, and ten great grandchildren.

OF WESTFORD, MA
Mrs. Valerie R. (Palardy) Beauregard of Westford, MA died Dec. 31, 2001 at the Deaconess Nashoba Community Hospital in Ayer, MA and her brother Hector J. Palardy died the same day in Littleton, MA.
She was married to the late Raymond A. Beauregard died April 10, 1986.
Born in Lowell, MA on Feb. 24, 1918, the daughter of the late Raphael and Angelina (Bilodeau) Palardy. She was a graduate of Lowell High School with the class of 1936, and the Bradshaw Business College in Lowell, MA, with the class of 1938.
She was employed at Heinz Electric Co. in Lowell, MA, and as a civilian worker at Hanscomb Air Force Base in Bedford, MA, and also with the Defense Dept. DCASR at Sanders Assoc. Inc. in Nashua, NH, retiring in 1981 and then worked part time in the family business Valgra Industries in Hudson, NH.
She was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church in North Chelmsford, MA.
She is survived by a son and his wife Philip R. and Donna (Hoffses) Beauregard of Merrimack, NH, and a sister Gloria Palardy of Nashua, NH, and three grandchildren Karen Beauregard off Newton, MA, Janet Couture R.N., and her husband Timothy Couture R.P.T. of Henniker, NH, and Jason Beauregard of Hudson, NH and one great granddaughter Hannah Couture of Henniker, NH.
She was the sister of the late Hector J. Palardy who lived with her and he died the same day as herself.

HECTOR J. PALARDY
OF WESTFORD, MA
Mr. Hector J. Palardy of Westford, MA died Dec. 31, 2001 at the Life care Center of Nashoba Valley in Littleton, MA, just hours after his sister Valerie R. Beauregard died at the Deaconest-Nashoba Community Hospital in Ayer, MA.
He was married to the late Evelyn (Lavoie) Palardy who died in 1986, and the late Madeline (Fundack) Palardy who died in 2000.
Born in Lowell, MA on Dec. 16, 1915, the son of the late Raphael and Angelina (Bilodeau) Palardy. He was a graduate of Lowell High School with the class of 1934, and the Waltham Watch Repair School in New York City, NY.
He served with the U.S. Navy, S.R.V. during World War II.
He was employed as a cabinetmaker for the Chelsea Model Cabinet Co. in New York City, NY until his retirement.
After his wife past away last year he moved in with sister in Westford and was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church.
He is survived by a daughter Dianne M. Morin R.N. and her husband George E. Morin of Lowell, MA, and a son Andrew G. and his wife Bobby Jean (Cribb) Palardy of New Castle, ME, and a sister Gloria Palardy of Nashua, NH, and six grandchildren Stephen G. and his wife Cathleen Morin of Tyngsboro, MA, Christopher G. Morin and his friend Jodie Roy of Lowell, MA, Denise M. Morin and her friend Edwin Guignard of Lowell, MA, Cheryl Thompson R.N., and her husband Robert Thompson of Deland, FL, Sharon Palardy of Lowell, MA, and Andrew G. and his wife Pattie Palardy of Phippsburg, ME, and two great grandchildren twins Kaylee and Danielle Morin of Tyngsboro.
He was the brother of the late Valerie R. Beauregard of Westford, MA who died the same day as himself.
