Mr. Kenneth W. Boczar of North Chelmsford, MA died Dec 15, 2000 at the Saint's Memorial Medical Center in Lowell, MA.
He was married to Mrs. Lorraine (Swistak) Boczar with whom he celebrated their 42nd wedding anniversary on Sept. 6, 2000.
Born in Lowell, MA on Mar. 31, 1937, the son of the late Emil and Stasia (Krawczyk) Boczar. He was a graduate of Lowell High School with the class of 1954, and attended Bentley School of Accounting in Boston, MA.
He served with the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.
He was employed as a heavy equipment mechanic with the Teamsters A.F. of L. and C.I.O. Local # 49. Over the years he worked for E.A. Wilson Inc. in Lowell, MA, Allied Concrete Co. in Everett, MA, Boston Sand and Gravel Co., and McLean Concrete Co. in Lowell, MA.
He was a communicant of St. Casimir's Church and St. John the Evangelist Church.
He enjoyed fishing.
Besides his wife he is survived by four sons and their wives Kenneth and Terry (Schneider) Boczar of Nashua, NH, Kevin R. and Hayley (Crossley) Boczar of Amherst, NH, Brian S. and Candace (Helt) Boczar of Wilton, NH, Stephen J. and Sandra (Foster) Boczar of Lowell, MA, his mother-in-law Mrs. Lillian (Jodoin) Swistak of North Chelmsford, MA, and three grandchildren Kenneth D. Boczar of Nashua, NH, Robert J. Shanley and Shaun M. Shanley, both of Lowell, MA.
He was the brother of the late Barbara Jean Boczar of Lowell, MA. Private funeral services were held on Monday at the Dolan Funeral Home in Chelmsford. He was buried in Fairview Cemetery in North Chelmsford, MA.

A LONG-TIME RESIDENT OF CHELMSFORD
Mrs. Alice R. (Ducharme) (Smith) Sullivan of Chelmsford died December 18, 2000 at the Westford Rehab Nursing Home after a brief illness.
She was married to the late Prescott D."Scottie" Smith who died April 1, 1969.
Born in Lowell on May 5, 1924, the daughter of the late Timothy Joseph and Alma Marie (Beddard) Ducharme. She was a graduate of Chelmsford High School with the class of 1942.
In the past, she was employed with the S.S. Kresge Co. in Lowell, Atlantic Parachute in Lowell, Hamilton Propeller in Hartford, CT, George's Cigar Store in Lowell, the Lion's Den in Chelmsford, Purity Food Stores in Chelmsford, Technology Instruments Corp. in Acton, Power Sources Inc., the Technical Operation Co. and GCA all in Burlington and before her illness she worked at the Elegant Farmer in Chelmsford.
She was a communicant of St. Mary's Church in Chelmsford and St. John the Evangelist Church in North Chelmsford.
She was the sister of the late Lucien, George, Paul, Raymond Ducharme, and Antionette Puzon, all of Chelmsford, Beatrice Leonard, and Thaddeus Ducharme of Billerica, Simone Le Blanc of GA, and Alexandrine Grondin of Nutley, NJ.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law Jane and William Nickles, 2 grandchildren, Dawn Ealy of Chelmsford, and Paul Ealy of Reading, MA, a great-grandson, Nathaniel Ealy of Chelmsford, and many nieces and nephews.

Mr. Arthur C. Leary of Merrimack, New Hampshire, died Dec. 20, 2000, at the Genise Elder Care Nursing Home in Bedford, NH.
Born in Boston on Nov. 17, 1913, the son of the late Arthur and Mary (Clifford) Leary. He received his education in the Boston School System.
He was employed with Wakefield Industries in Lowell from 1960 through 1972 then becoming employed at the Riverside Industrial Cleaning in Pelham, NH for 10 years and then Purity Supreme in Chelmsford for 12 years retiring in 1988.
Mr. Leary was a communicant of St Patrick Church in Lowell
for many years.
He enjoyed flowers and landscaping.
His survivors include a nephew Roland Cossette of Merrimack, NH., Robert Cossette, and Darren Cossette both of Chelmsford, MA, a niece Kristen (Cossette) Perry of Tyngsboro, MA, and grandnieces Ashley, Jenna, Amber, Cossette, and grandnephews Cody, Jake, and Nicholas Cossette.

Born in Lewiston, ME, on March 12, 1960 the son of Thomas and Rita (Stebbins) Pucci Sr. of Chelmsford, MA. He was a graduate of Chelmsford High School with the class of 1979 where he played basketball and baseball. He also attended Unity College.
He served a tour of duty with the U.S. Army in the 1980's.
Over the years he was employed with Pella Industries, Inc., in Littleton, and later with landscaping and building contractors.
He was a communicant of St. Mary's Church in Chelmsford, MA where he was an altar server and a member of the boys’ choir and Boy Scout Troop.
He enjoyed basketball and fishing.

He was married to Mrs. Mary (Flor) Caires with whom he would have celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary on Dec. 26, 2000.
Born in Chelmsford, MA on June 21, 1921, the son of the late Manuel and Isabel (Ferreira) de Caires. He was educated in Madeira Island school system.
He served with the U.S. Coast Guard during World War II.
He was employed with the Town of Chelmsford High way Dept. and the Cemetery Dept. from 1959 until his retirement in 1988.
He was a communicant of St. Anthony's Church in Lowell, MA.
He was a member of Portuguese American Club.

She was employed with the Cove Restaurant in Billerica until 1995.
Besides her mother she is survived by two brothers and their wives Louis (Mike) and Janice (Palmer) DeSilvio of Tyngsboro, MA, and Peter A. and Brenda (Barrett) DeSilvio of Ossippi, NH, and several nieces and nephews, and a friend Christine Chagaris of Billerica, MA.
She was the mother of the late James DeSilvio who died in 1973.

Mr. E.U. "Tab" Gallardo age 53, of Westford, MA died Dec. 23, 2000 at the Emerson Hospital in Concord, MA.
He was married to Mrs. Marilyn L. (Forni) Gallardo. They celebrated their 24th wedding anniversary on Nov. 6, 2000.
Born in Portsmouth, VA, on Sept. 25, 1947, the son of Genevieve (Urquhart) Gallardo of Somerville, MA, and the late Eulogio C. Gallardo. He was a graduate of St, Catherine's Elementary School and North Cambridge Catholic High School with the class of 1965, received his B.S. from Northeastern University with the class of 1985, and he received his Master of Science in Applied Management from Lesley College with the class of 1988.
He served with the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War era, serving on the USS Forrest Sherman, he also graduated from U.S. Navy Advance Electronics School.
He was employed as a Radar Systems Engineer for over 25 years at the Haystack Observatory, Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Westford, MA, where he was the recipient of the NASA Award for outstanding contribution on the Orbital Debris Radar Calibration Spheres Project.
He was a communicant of St. Catherine's Church in Westford, MA.
He was actively involved in Westford's youth athletics programs for fifteen years, he received the 1991 Westford Youth Baseball Award (WYLBL) and the 1992 Westford Youth Baseball League Minor League Coaches Award. He was also active in the Lou Tomkins Baseball League.
Besides his wife and mother he is survived by two sons Jeffrey Gallardo, and Brian Gallardo and a daughter Julie Gallardo, all of Westford, MA, and two sisters Marcella U. Mr. Lloyd "Lou" Snowdon age 36, of Derby, VT formerly of Westford, MA. died by snow mobile accident in Newport, VT on Dec. 28, 2000.
He was married to Mrs. Corinne (Campbell) Snowdon with whom he celebrated their 12th wedding anniversary on Sept. 17, 2000.
Born in Everett, MA on Sept. 26, 1964, the son of Lloyd and Marjorie (Lavie) Snowdon of Tyngsboro, MA. He was educated in the Westford School System and also attended Johnson and Wales Culinary College in RI.
He served with the U.S. Army from Aug. 26, 1983 to May 11, 1984, and then served with the U.S. Army Reserves until Aug. 25, 1989.
Over the years he was employed with the Outlook Ski Area Restaurant, Beef & Ale Restaurant, Nabnasset Country Club, Willows Restaurant all in Westford, MA, Firestone Tire Shop in Leominster, MA, Forge village Marine in Westford, MA, and Newport Marine in Newport, VT., he also had his own catering business.
He was a avid hunter and outdoor sportsman, and he enjoyed his hobby as a taxidermist.
He was a member of H.E. Fletcher Social & Athletic Club, Nabnasset American Legion Post # 437, and the V.F.W. Mattawanakee Post # 6539, all in Westford, MA.

She has lived in Lowell, MA, and Westford, MA for over 46 years and for the past 8 years she has lived in Tyngsboro, MA.
She was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church in North Chelmsford, MA.
She was a member of Tyngsboro Senior Citizens Club, and was a past member oft the Westford Golden Age Club.

Mr. Joseph R. Belodeau of Tyngsboro, MA died at his home Feb. 2, 2002.
He was married to Mrs. Martha (Lindvall) Belodeau with whom he would have celebrated their 11th wedding anniversary on Sept. 13, 2002.
Born in Waltham, MA on Aug. 25, 1943, the son of the late Lawrence Belodeau of Waltham, MA and Sarah (Bigley) Belodeau of Wellesley, MA. He was a graduate of Lowell High School with the class of 1961.
He served with the U.S. Navy from Oct. 1961 until 1967, serving in the Vietnam Conflict.
He was self-employed as a painting contractor in the greater Lowell area until illness forced him to retire in 1991.
He was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church of No, Chelmsford, MA.
He was a member, and past commander, of the American Legion in Tyngsboro, VFW Post 10333, and member of the Tyngsboro Sportsman Club until he moved to Sarasota, FL in 1995. He returned to North Chelmsford in 1998.

She was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church of Chelmsford, MA.
She is survived by her brother, Joseph Hogan of Nashua, NH and her sister Margaret and her husband Waldo Leedberg of Westford, and several nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late William C. Hogan of Lowell who died in 1982.
Her funeral Mass was celebrated by her nephew Fr. John Hogan OMI at the Immaculate Conception Church on Tuesday at 10:30 am. Burial was in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Lowell.

She was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church.

Mr. George E. Lowder of Dunstable, MA, formerly of Arlington, MA died Feb. 6, 2002 at the Greenbriar Nursing Home in Nashua, NH.
He was married to the late Phyllis (Sullivan) Lowder who died on July 3, 1997.
Born in Medford, MA on Feb. 17, 1916, the son of the late George E. and Gertrude (King) Lowder. He was a graduate of Charlestown High School with the class of 1933.
He owned and operated the Lowder Transportation Co. in Woburn, MA until his retirement in 1981.
He was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church in North Chelmsford, MA.
He was a past member of Arlington Lodge of Elks during the 1960's.
He is survived by his daughter and her husband Gertrude W. "Trudy" and Edward F. Atkinson of Dunstable, MA, and a daughter-in-law Ruth Anne (Roy) Lowder of Dunstable, MA, four grandchildren Christine and her husband Robert Talbot of Hudson, NH, Jennifer and her husband Peter Tello of Nashua, NH, Laura J. and her husband Thomas Schroeder of Southborough, MA, Philip and his wife Loreene (Robson) Lowder of Dunstable, MA, and eight great grandchildren Nichole Lowder, Trevor Lowder, Travis Lowder, all of Dunstable, MA, Alexander Schroeder, Michelle Schroeder both of Southborough, MA, Jacqueline Talbot and Michael Talbot both of Hudson, NH, and Katerine Rose Tello of Nashua, NH.
He was the father of the late George E. Lowder III of Dunstable, MA died May 16, 2001, and was the brother of late Joseph F. Lowder of Arlington, MA.

DONNA M. DICKEY
OF PELHAM, NH
Mrs. Donna M. (Sullivan) Dickey of Pelham, NH died Feb. 8, 2002 at Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington, MA after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was married to Mr. Robert W. Dickey with whom she would have celebrated their 42nd wedding anniversary on Sept. 17, 2002.
Born in Lowell, MA on August 11, 1941, the daughter of the late Thomas F. and Mary R. (Gougerty) Sullivan. She was a graduate of Notre Dame Academy High School with the class of 1959. She was an active member and past president of the Notre Dame Alumni Association and was the Recipient of the Distinguished St. Julie Award as Alumnae of the year for 1996.
Over the years she was a Finance Officer at the Notre Dame Academy School in Tyngsboro, MA and was employed as a Customer Service Representative with Butler Bank in Lowell, MA, and for over 25 years as Office Manager at Purity Supreme Supper Markets.
She was a communicant of St. Patrick's Church in Pelham, NH, and St. Rita's Church in Lowell, MA.
Besides her husband she is survived by a daughter and her husband Kara A. and Mark Beauchamp of Swampscott, MA, and a son and his wife Robert M. and Tracey (Beattie) Dickey of Windham, NH, and three sisters Maureen A. Ferrari of Lynn, MA, Judith C. and her husband Henry McDermott of Andover, MA, Patricia A. and her husband Ralph Wise of Lowell, MA, and two grandchildren Robert P. Dickey and Daniel J. Dickey both of Windham, NH, and several nieces and nephews.
She was the grandmother of the late Thomas A. Dickey of Windham, NH who died on May 8, 1999.

Patricia Ann (Whalen) Koen of Chelmsford, MA died Feb. 11, 2002 at her home.
Born in Belmont, MA on Jan. 18, 1938, the daughter of the late Patrick and Mae (Davis) Whalen. She was a graduate of Belmont High School with the class of 1955, and received her B.A. from Regis College class of 1959.
Over the years she was employed with USCI Bard in Billerica, MA, from 1981 to 1991 and then in 1994 she worked for the Catalog Ventures in Chelmsford, MA to the present.
She was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church.
She was a past member and past President of the Chelmsford Hockey Association.
She is survived by a daughter Lisa Koen of Derry, NH, and three sons Michael Koen, and Jason Koen both of Chelmsford, MA, and Kenneth and his wife Lisa (Santilli) Koen of San Jose, CA, and her sister Barbara Trioano of Belmont, MA, and two grandchildren Nadine and Joshua Koen both of San Jose, CA. and two nieces Patricia Garcia of East Bridgewater, MA, and Susan McLaughlin of Belmont, MA.
