Constance M. 'Connie' Wilke, 71
PEABODY Constance M. "Connie" (Leonard) Wilke, 71, wife of Albert "Alby" Wilke of 25 Sunset Drive, Peabody, died Saturday at Salem Hospital after a lengthy illness.
Mrs. Wilke was born in Weymouth, daughter of the late Albert A. and Anna F. (Mulloy) Leonard. She was raised in Peabody and graduated from Peabody High School class of 1943. She was president of her class and was also a cheerleader.
She was employed until 1963 as an assembler and secretary for G.T.E. Sylvania, Sylvan Street in Danvers. She then devoted her life to raising her family.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters and their husbands, Karen and Larry Lawless of Lynn, and Kathy and David Merson of Londonderry, N.H.; a brother, Paul F. Leonard of Salem; three sisters, Marion Inglis of Alfred, Maine, Gertrude Borgioli of Manchester-by-the-Sea and Barbara Downey of Peabody; six grandchildren, Michael, Chrissy, Sarah and Matthew Lawless all of Lynn, Danielle and Rachel Merson both of Londonderry, N.H.; and several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Albert J. Leonard Jr. and Warren Leonard.
Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 8 a.m. from the Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 20 Church St., Peabody, followed by a funeral Mass at 9 a.m. in St. Ann's Church, South Peabody. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visiting hours are Tuesday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Burial is in Cedar Grove Cemetery.

DANVERS Frank Strangie of 16 Bayberry Road, Danvers, husband of Elsie (Chicarello) Strangie died Sunday morning in Beverly Hospital. He was the father of Dennis Larson of California and Elisa Strangie and father-in-law of Kenneth Brown of Danvers.

Cleo P. Bouchard, 78
GEORGETOWN Cleo P. Bouchard, 78, of 27 Andover St., Georgetown and a former resident of Salem, died Friday at Hale Hospital following a long illness. He was the husband of the late Theresa Y. (Dionne) Bouchard.
Born and raised in Salem, he was the son of the late Philip and Albertine (Tremblay) Bouchard.
A veteran of World War II, he served in Europe and the Pacific with the Army. Following the war he returned to Salem and began working for the former C.B.S. Hytron of Salem.
In 1952, he and his brother-in-law opened Dionne's Market which they operated on Loring Avenue until 1969. Following the closing, he worked in shipping for the former Cran-Barry Company of Marblehead until his retirement in 1982.
He was a member of St. Joseph's Parish of Salem for many years and the Knights of Columbus, Council 76 of Salem.
Mr. Bouchard has been a resident of Georgetown for the past two years.
He is survived by three daughters, Celeste Y. Nimblett of Georgetown, Colette D. Welch of West Newbury and Denise M. Ames of Derry, N.H.; a son, Donald P. Bouchard of Bradford; a brother, Norman Bouchard of Peabody; a sister, Pauline Cashman of Peabody; seven grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
His funeral will be Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. from the Levesque Funeral Home, 163 Lafayette St., Salem, followed by his funeral Mass in St. Joseph's Church, Salem, at 11 a.m. Visiting hours will precede from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Salem.

Paul J. Ronan, 56
BEVERLY Paul J. Ronan, 56, of Beverly, and Fort Lauderdale, Fla., died suddenly of a heart attack on Saturday in Fort Lauderdale. He was the husband of Nancy (Gillis) Ronan.
Born in Somerville, he was the son of the late James and Mary I. (Cain) Ronan. Mr. Ronan grew up and lived most of his life in Marblehead.
He served as a crew chief in the U.S. Air Force in California.
He was yacht broker with international clientele. He was employed by the John G. Alden Co. of Boston for 26 years and most recently by Northrop & Johnson, Fort Lauderdale, Fla. He twice served as the president of the Yacht Architects & Brokers Association and was the recipient of the Broker of the Year Award, and sat on their ethics committee. He was also a member of the Florida Yacht Brokers Association.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Nicholas of Beverly; his daughter, Karen D. Ronan of Jackson, N.H.; his daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly and Stephen Ahmed of Salem; his brother, James Ronan of Fort Myers, Fla.; and nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, Jan. 29, at the Unitarian Universalist Church, 28 Mugford St., Marblehead, at 10 a.m.
In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to the Nicholas Ronan College Fund, Northrop & Johnson, 1901 S.E. 4th Ave., Fort Lauderdale, FL 33316.

Janice B. Lee, 75
ATKINSON, N.H. Janice B. (Bradley) Lee, 75, of 6 Fernwood Way, a resident of Atikinson for the past two years, died Saturday night at Columbia-Parkland Medical Center, Derry, N.H., following a long illness. She was the wife of the late Martin E. Lee, who died in 1966.
Mrs. Lee was born in Fairfield, Conn., on Feb. 8, 1922. She was the daughter of the late Winthrop C. Bradley and Dorothy (Bradley) (Bradley) Mueller. She attended schools in Fairfield and received her associate's of arts degree from Edgewood Park Junior College in Edgewood, N.Y.
She was a resident of Danvers, Mass., for 28 years before moving to Atkinson in 1995. She worked as a buyer at Johnny Appleseed's of Beverly for 20 years before her retirement.
She was an avid reader and enjoyed cooking and watching all sports. She was an avid golfer and former member of Brooklawn Country Club in Fairfield and was also a former member of the Greenfield Hill Congregational Church of Fairfield.
She is survived by a son, Martin B. Lee, and his fiance, Virginia Gorman, of Sandy Hook, Conn.; a daughter, Sandra L. Pepin, and her husband, Albert of Atkinson, with whom she made her home; three grandchildren, Curtis Pepin of Danver, Colo., Julie Pepin of Boulder, Colo., and Matthew Pepin of Atkinson, N.H.; a niece; and a nephew.
Private funeral services will be held Tuesday at Brookside Chapel and Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow, N.H. Burial will be in the spring in Oak Lawn Cemetery, Fairfield. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 2 to 5 p.m. at the home of Albert and Sandra Pepin, 6 Fernwood Way, Atikinson, N.H.
