Mrs. Florence R. (Eramo) DiSalvo, 80, of 79C South Webster Street,
Bradford, died Thursday at the Oxford Manor Rehabilitation Nursing Center.
She was born in Haverhill June 24, 1922, daughter of the late Celeste
and Linda Eramo and had been a lifelong resident of Haverhill.
Mrs. DiSalvo was educated in the Haverhill School System and was a
graduate of Haverhill High School, Class of 1941. She was employed in the
cafeteria of Cogswell School for 25 years.
A longtime member of Sacred Hearts Church she also served on the tenant's
council of South Webster Street.
She enjoyed making homemade pastas for her family and friends and will
be remembered for her kindness, her Italian cooking skills, and the love
she had for her family.
The wife of the late Salvatore DiSalvo, who died in 1984, she leaves
a son, State Trooper Alfred T. DiSalvo and his wife Susan DiSalvo of Bradford,
a daughter, Linda M. DiSalvo of Clinton, a brother, Thomas "Butch" Eramo
and his wife Helen Eramo of Haverhill, a grandson, New York Police Office
David A. DiSalvo of Brooklyn, NY, and several nieces and nephews.
Relative and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Funeral
Mass Saturday at 10:30 AM at Sacred Hearts Church, South Main Street, Bradford.
Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Bradford.
Calling hours at the H. L. Farmer & Sons Bradford Funeral Home
will be Friday evening from 5:00 to 8:00 PM.

John J. "Jackie" Doucette

Mr. John J. "Jackie" Doucette, 46, of Peabody, died Sunday at Beverly
He was born in Peabody, May 20, 1957, son of John H. and Joanne (Hayes)
Doucette of Bradford.
Mr. Doucette was educated in the Peabody School System and graduated
from Essex Aggie High School. He earned his Eagle Scout at the age of 18,
and was employed, for a time, at Hogan Regional Hospital.
Besides his parents his survivors include 3 brothers, Peter Doucette
of Bradford, Dave and his wife Carol Doucette of No. Andover, Michael Doucette
of North Quincy, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Mr. Doucette was also the brother of the late Thomas Doucette who died

Sharon M. (O'Brien) Cahill, 55, of 440 North Ave, Haverhill, died Sunday
at the Merrimack Valley Hospital.
She was born in Haverhill, May 28, 1948, daughter of the late Joseph
and Helen (Atwood) O'Brien. Educated in the Haverhill Public Schools, she
was a Graduate of Haverhill High School, class of l966.
Sharon had been employed as an X-ray Technician at the former Hale
Hospital, and at the time of her death was a Medical Technician at Pentucket
Orthopedics in Haverhill.
Her survivors include two daughters Mrs. Tara J. and her husband David
B. McLaughlin Jr. of Danville, NH, Cynthia L. Murphy of Haverhill, brother,
Joseph O'Brien of Lincoln, RI, Willard O'Brien of Port Charlotte, FL, two
sisters Margaret Sinsigalli and her husband Robert ,of The Villages, Florida,
Marlene O'Brien of Haverhill, two grandchildren Kaleigh and Brenna McLaughlin,
of Danville, NH, and her special friend Kent Haney of Haverhill.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to the Funeral Thursday
morning at 11a.m. at the West Newbury Congregational Church. Burial will

Mr. Joseph Boggiatto, Sr., 93, of Plaistow, NH, and formerly of Groveland,
died Sunday at the Merrimack Valley Hospital, Haverhill.
He was born in Haverhill, June 12, 1910, son of the late Antonio and
Orsalina Boggiatto, and was educated in the Groveland School System.
During World War II he was employed as a civilian contractor for the
Government to deliver cannons along the East Coast.
In l930, Mr. Boggiatto founded Joe's Haverhill Express and operated
it until his retirement in l980.
He was the husband of the late Barbara (Williams) Boggiatto who died
in 1972 and his survivors include 2 sons, Richard A. and his wife Janice
M. Boggiatto of Plaistow, NH, Joseph F. and his wife Carol M. Boggiatto
of Haverhill, a daughter, Suzanne L. and her husband Richard A. Gallipeau
of Stuart, FL, 7 grandchildren Christopher J. Boggiatto, Jennifer A. White,
Kimberly M. Boggiatto, Bethany A. Gioia, Ericka L. Gallipeau, Will L. Boddy,
Andrew E. Boddy, one great grandson Troy N. White, and several nieces and
nephews. He was also the grandfather of the late Stacie A. Gallipeau.

Mr. Alex Kirman, 94, a resident Marland Place, 15 Stevens St., Andover,
died Sunday evening at the Lawrence General Hospital, Lawrence.
He was born in New York, August 8, 1908, son of the late Jacob and
Tanya (Kroshinsky) Kirman.
Mr. Kirman was educated in the New York School System and earned a
Law Degree from City College, New York. During World War II he served with
the United States Army.
Mr. Kirman was a lawyer and businessman in New York for many years.
He spent hi later years in Arizona and New Mexico, prior to moving to Andover
6 years ago.
He was the husband of the late Sonia (Elkins) Kirman and his survivors
include 3 daughters, Amanda and her husband Alan Righter of Andover, Lucie
and her husband Richard Burke of Marblehead, Lenore Strich of Australia,
a brother, Hy Kirman of Albuquerque, New Mexico, 6 grandchildren, 3 great
grandchildren and 5 nieces and nephews.
There will be a private funeral service for immediate family members

Terpsi H. Lafionatis

Terpsi H. Lafionatis, 75, a lifelong resident of Haverhill died Sunday
morning at Penacook Place in Haverhill.
She was born in Haverhill on May 23, 1928, daughter of the late George
D. and Coula (Kalivas) Lafionatis.
Terpsi attended the Haverhill School System, graduating from Haverhill
High School, Class of 1949. She also attended the former MacIntosh Business
College of Haverhill.
She was employed at the former Western Electric in N. Andover (now
Lucent) as a coil winder. Terpsi was a lifelong member of the Greek Orthodox
Church of the Holy Apostles, Saints Peter & Paul.
Her survivors include a brother Fokion Lafionatis and his wife Claire
of Franklin, NH, sister-in-law Koni Lafionatis of Westfield, MA, a niece
Kathryn Lafionatis of Derry, NH. 2 nephews Arthur and his wife Kathleen
Lafionatis of Chevy Chase, MD, Mark Lafionatis of Santa Ana, CA, grand
nephews James Lafionatis of Chevy Chase, Nathan Lafionatis of Los Angeles,
CA, grand nieces Melissa Lafionatis of Chevy Chase, Amy Wills of Germany,
and Lydia Tasker of Boston, as well as several great grand nieces and nephews.

Mr. Ralph H. "Joe" Fuller, 71, of 34 Grand Ave., Haverhill, died unexpectedly,
Saturday at the Merrimack Valley Hospital.
He was born in Georgetown, Oct. 20, 1931, son of the late Ralph H.
and Bertha (George) Fuller.
He was educated in the Georgetown Public Schools, and resided in town
for 30 years prior to moving to Haverhill.
Prior to his retirement he had been employed at Newman's Children's
Shop on Merrimack St. in Haverhill.
Joe was a member of the Haverhill Salvation Army, and had been a former
member of the Eagles Club.
His survivors include his wife of 14 years, Shirley R. (Silver) Fuller
of Haverhill, his twin daughters, Sherrie Bumba and Sheila Gilly, both
of Maine, 4 step children Robin McRae, Lisa McRae, both of Haverhill, David,
McRae, and Sheila McRae, both of New Hampshire, a brother Raymond E. Fuller
of Georgetown, several grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The visitation and funeral was held on Wednesday, June 11, at the H.L.
Farmer & Sons Funeral Home, 106 Summer St. Haverhill. Interment will
be held in Harmony Cemetery, Georgetown, MA.

Marie Gertrude (Barry) Bresnahan

Mrs. Marie Gertrude (Barry) Bresnahan, 93, of Maffie Haven, Stuart
Draft VA, and formerly of Dunedin Fl and Lowell, MA, died Friday at the
Augusta Medical Center in Stuarts Draft Va.
She was born in Lowell, MA on April 16, 1910, daughter of the late
William and Mary (Allen) Barry.
Educated in the Lowell Schools, she was one of the first women to attend
the Lowell Technological Institute.
Mrs. Bresnahan was a member of the St. Francis Of Assisi Church in
Prior to moving to Virginia she has lived for many years in Dunedin
Fl. where she attended, Our Lady Of Lourdes Church. While in Florida she
was a member of the Democratic Club, the Ladies Auxiliary of the Knights
Of Columbus and served as Vice President and Treasurer of her retirement
She was married to the late Bernard J Bresnahan Sr., and her survivors
include two sons. Bernard J. Bresnahan Jr. of Woodbridge, VA, Neil E.J.
Bresnahan of Munich, Germany, a daughter Rosemary Parsells Harris of Lexington,
VA, her grandchildren Samuel L., Edward J. Bresnahan, and Angela M. Bresnahan
all of Woodbridge, Va. Melissa M. Parsells of Lexington, VA, Michel Jordan
and Nicole M. Bresnahan of Frankfurt, Germany, and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Mass was held on Wednesday June 11, at Immaculate Conception
Church in Lowell. Interment was in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery,
Ida L. (Deblois) Spaulding

Mrs. Ida L. (Deblois) Spaulding, 70, of Bradford, MA died Tuesday at
her residence in Bradford.
She was born in Dover, NH on Jan. 17, 1933, daughter of the late Erwin
W. and Evelyn M. (Brown) Deblois.
Mrs. Spaulding was educated in Middleton and attended Danvers High
School. Mrs. Spaulding was employed at AT&T for over 25 years retiring
in 1991. She was a 40 year resident of Middleton prior to moving to Bradford
in 1997, where she has been a resident since.
She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America, the American
Legion Auxiliary Post 227, and was an avid gardener.
She was the wife of the late Robert J. Denault, who died in 1983, and
sister of the late Jean Denault, who died in February of 2003.
Her survivors include a son Kenneth R. Denault and his wife Michelle
of Bradford, daughter Yvette M. and her husband Richard Feole of Bradford,
sister Eileen Kennedy of Saugus, MA, 4 grandchildren, Lyn Toscano, Derek
Beckwith, Katie Hennessey, and Derek Kelly all of Bradford, 3 great grandchildren,
as well as several nieces and nephews.
The graveside service was held on Friday, June 6, at the Oakdale Cemetery
in Middleton, MA.

Evelyn Evans Reynolds

Mrs. Evelyn Evans Reynolds, 75, of Haverhill died suddenly Sunday evening
at her residence.
Mrs. Reynolds was born in Everett, MA on April 16, 1928, daughter of
the late Edward Arthur Evans and Mary Margaret Dunn.
She was attended the Immaculate Conception Grammar School and Malden
Catholic High School. She later graduated from the Wyndham Secretarial
School in Boston. Mrs. Reynolds was employed as an Administrative Assistant
at Eljer Plumbing Ware for 15 years and most recently was employed part
time in Real Estate Sales. Mrs. Reynolds was a resident of Everett until
1987 when she moved to Haverhill, where she has been a resident since.
She attended St. James Church in Haverhill, was a volunteer at the
Lawrence General Hospital, and was a member of Crystal Springs Golf Club
in Haverhill where she was an avid golfer.
Mrs. Reynolds was the former wife of the late Francis C. Reynolds,
and is survived by her son Edward F. Reynolds and his wife Debra of N.
Reading, daughters Kathryn A. and her husband Gary Jaffarian of Haverhill,
and Ellyn E. Reynolds of Haverhill, 4 grandchildren, Nicole and Steven
Reynolds, Gavin and Mara Jaffarian.
The Funeral Mass was held on Friday, June 6, at St. James Church, Winter
St., Haverhill. Interment was private in the Glenwood Cemetery, Everett.

Solomon "Sy" Leavitt

Mr. Solomon "Sy" Leavitt, 85, of Mission Viejo, CA and formerly of
Haverhill died Friday at the Coastal Community Hospital in Santa Ana, CA.
He was born in Haverhill on August 24, 1917, son of the late Louis
M. and Mary (Chodes) Leavitt.
Mr. Leavitt was a graduate of Haverhill High School and the University
of New Hampshire. While attending UNH, he was the University's School Tennis
Champion. Mr. Leavitt was an Air Force veteran of WWII. Upon returning
from the war he moved to CA where he has been a resident since.
Mr. Leavitt was a self-employed financial advisor and was the owner
and operator of Sy Leavitt, Inc. Over the years, he developed a strong
relationship with his clients and had served multiple generations within
the same families. Mr. Leavitt was a generous contributor to the Medical
Schools of UCLA as well as Irvine Medical School. He was a member of the
Temple at Leisure World.
He was the husband of the late Shirley Leavitt and Doris "Dee" Leavitt.
His survivors include a sister Hannah Leavitt Heifetz of Andover, MA,
and several nieces and nephews.
The graveside service was held on Thursday, June 5, at the Children
of Israel Cemetery, Middle Rd., Haverhill.

Alice R. (Chretien) Monahan

Mrs. Alice R. (Chretien) Monahan, 75, of Derry, NH, and formerly of
Lawrence, died Friday evening at her daughters home in Methuen.
She was born in Lawrence, August 13, 1927, daughter of the late Emile
and Dianea (Bilodeau) Chretien.
Mrs. Monahan was educated in St. Anne's School, Lawrence.
For over 19 years she was employed as a presser at Eastern Uniform,
until her retirement in 1992. Mrs. Monahan moved to Derry in 1993.
She was the wife of the late Harold H. Monahan who died in 1971, and
her survivors include her sons, Harold A., Raymond H., Michael J. all of
Lawrence, daughters, Joanne Domingue of Methuen, Katherine Monahan of Lawrence,
Eileen L. and her husband Daniel Markey of Derry, NH, Patricia E. Monahan
of Lawrence, sisters, Lorraine Mottram of Haverhill, Jeannette Cantwell
of Lawrence, her stepmother, Annette Chretien, step-brothers, Robert, William
and James Chretien all of Lebanon, NH, her longtime companion, Kenneth
D. Turner of Derry, NH, 6 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and several
nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Monahan was the mother of the late Thomas J. Monahan who died
in 2000 and sister of the late Eileen Chretien.
The graveside service was held on Tuesday, June 3, at the Immaculate
Conception Cemetery, Lawrence.
Marjorie (Johnson) Collins

Marjorie (Johnson) Collins, 85, of 116 River Pines Groveland, died
Tuesday May 27 at her residence after a brief illness.
She was the widow of the late Wilfred A. Collins Sr. who died in l972.
Born and educated in Haverhill, she was the daughter of the late Harry
A. and Stella C. (Patterson) Johnson, and was a Haverhill resident most
of her life.
For many years she was employed at Cleary Cleaners.
Marjorie was a member of the First Universalist Unitarian Church and
was a member of the Ladies Circle at the Church.
Her survivors include her sons and daughters in law Charles J. "Chuck"
and his wife Diane H. Collins of Haverhill, Wilfred a. Collins Jr. and
his wife Lynn of Haverhill, a daughter Peggyann and her husband John R.
Hilsabeck of Mattapoisett, a sister Julia M. Terry of Boynton, Beach. Fl,
7 grandchildren Jeffrey, Eric, Merridith Collins Kelly Feaster, Jill Foye,
Jamie Wiksten, Lindsey Huckins. She was also the sister of the late H.
Arnold Johnson and Lois Munt.
A Memorial Service was held on Monday, June 2, at the First Universalist
Unitarian Church. Burial in the Linwood Cemetery was private at the convenience
of the family.

Mrs. Rita A. (Nadreau) Webster, 83, of Haverhill, died Tuesday morning
at her home.
She was born in Haverhill, November 6, 1919, daughter of the late Joseph
and Esmerilda (Benoit) Nadreau.
Mrs. Webster was educated in St. Joseph’s Grammar School and attended
Assumption Academy High School, Nicolet, Canada, form where she graduated

Mary E. Foley, 39, of 100 Water St., died Monday at the Kenoza Manor
She was born in Haverhill April 4, l963, daughter of Margaret (Passas)
Foley of Haverhill, and the late Daniel F. Foley.
Mary was educated in the Haverhill Public Schools, and attended Haverhill
Prior to her illness she had been employed at Dunkin Donuts and DeMoulas
Market Basket Supermarket, and had been a member of St. James Church.
She was a dedicated NASCAR fan.
Her survivors include her mother Margaret Foley of Haverhill, a brother
Daniel F. Foley Jr. of Haverhill, two sisters Patricia A. and her husband
Christiano Lima of Pawtucket, RI. Kathleen T. and her husband Bernard Muir
of Haverhill, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was also the fiancée of the late Ken Dovey
