ROBINSON -- Sgt. Thomas, age 62, of South Yarmouth, died at his home after a long battle with lung cancer. He was a longtime police officer with the town of Yarmouth. He was the husband of Virginia M. (Vieira) Robinson of South Yarmouth; father of Mark Robinson of Yarmouth, Beverly Poirier of Tiverton, R.I., Sara Humiston of Milford, MA. and Melissa Robinson of South Dennis, MA; brother of Mary Taylor of Reidsville, NC. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and his mother-in-law, Lillie Smith of South Yarmouth. A funeral will form at DOANE, BEAL, AND AMES FUNERAL HOME, Route 134, South Dennis, MA on Saturday, February 3 at 10:00 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Pius The Tenth Church at 11:00 AM.
