A religious service will be held at 8 p.m. Friday at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Thibodaux for Maud C. Bolt, 71, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Thibodaux, who died Aug. 14, 2000.
Visitation will be from 5 until 7:45 p.m. Friday at the church.
Dismissal services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church.
Burial will be at Allen Chapel Cemetery in Thibodaux.
She was the wife of Christopher Bolt Jr. of Thibodaux; mother of Laura Ingram, Linda B. Dorsey, Cora Lee Johnson, Christine B. White, Irma B. Griffin and Marguerite B. Chatman; and sister of Henry Williams Sr. of Deridder and Rosezetta Williams Turner of Thibodaux. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie Terrance and Emma Rollins Williams; daughter, Emily B. Kennedy; brothers, Isiah Williams Sr.; and sisters, Hazel W. Ellis and Lillie Williams.
She was Baptist and a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
She was a retired manager (cook) at South Thibodaux Elementary School.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Paradis for Anne Dufrene Hebert, 41, a native and resident of Paradis, who died at 2:20 p.m. Aug. 15, 2000.
Visitation will be from 7 until 10 p.m. today and 8 a.m. until funeral time at the church.
Burial will be at Mennonite Cemetery in Des Allemands.
She was the wife of Audrey Hebert; daughter of Myrtle Dufrene Naquin; mother of Christopher and Rechelle Hebert; and sister of Ricky and David Lewis and Elaine Duckworth. She is also survived by one grandchild.

Earl Hebert
Earl P. Hebert, 74, a native and resident of Thibodaux, died at 6:30 a.m. Aug. 11, 2000.
He died of cancer.
His body was donated to science.
He was the husband of Dot Gautreaux Hebert; father of Catherine A. Hebert Turner Webber; stepfather of Linda Clause, Shelia Scioneaux and Melissa Dwoskin; and brother of Euclid "Poochie," Preston "Boonie," Wilson "Baye" and Milton "Neg" Hebert and Maggie Aupied. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Tisha M. Turner Bergeron, Nathan Paul and Joshua Lane Turner; great-grandchildren, Blaike, Blair, Brooke and Blaine Bergeron and Jayce Champagne; step-grandchildren, Tammy Bergeron, Cammy Danos, Troy, Missy and Jacob Clause, Andrea and Abby Scioneaux, Denise Zeringue and Wayne Webber; and step-great-grandchildren, Travis and Brandt Bergeron and Kayla Danos.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Jeane Estavan Hebert; former wife, Edna M. Washam Hebert; sister, Beulah "Nanny" Clement; and brothers, Wilton, Harry, Dewey, Roland and Eddie Hebert.
He was a WWII Navy veteran and also a retired employee from Univeral Iron.
The family would like to thank his friends, Larry Bourgeois, Rodney Ponvelle, Wilson Vicknair, Terry Labat and nephew, Bruce Hebert, for everything they did to make him happy in his last days.

Burial will be at St. Mary Cemetery in Raceland.
She was the daughter of Wade J. Guidry and Nazie Martin Guidry of Raceland; granddaughter of Judith Guidry of Raceland; and sister of Lonnie P. Guidry of Lockport, Landa G. Domangue of Laronger and Annell G. Foret of Thibodaux.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Norman Guidry, Odelia Foret Martin and Maurice Martin.
She was a parishioner of St. Mary Catholic Church in Raceland.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Golden Meadow for Manuel "Manu" A. Martin, 85, a native and resident of Golden Meadow, who died at 9:55 p.m. Aug. 16, 2000.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until midnight today and 8 a.m. until funeral time at Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano.
Burial will be at the church cemetery.
He was the father of John L. "Roy" and Leola Gisclair Martin, James Joseph Sr. and Liz Fertitta Martin and Marry Ann and Larry St. Germain; and brother of Leona M. Guidry, Nancy M. Callais and Anna Mae M. Doucet. He is also survived by six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Hodge Martin; parents, Joseph C. Martin and Julie Collins Martin; brother Luke Martin; sisters, Eva M. Terrebonne and Evella M. Guidry; and one grandson.
He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church.
He was a retired employee of Ebdon Callais Boat Company.
He enjoyed attending prayer meetings.

She was the mother of Thomas Simoneaux Jr. and Jane Simoneaux.

Dora Griffin
A memorial mass will be celebrated at 5 p.m. Wednesday at Holy Savior Catholic Church in Lockport for Dora B. Griffin, 75, a native of Cut Off and resident of Lockport, who died at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 3, 2000 at Thibodaux Regional Medical Center.
She was the mother of Kenneth and David Griffin and Sandra Taylor; sister of Roland and Clarence Boudreaux, Mary Jane Cook and Annie Rose Pennison. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Angela, Lori, Lacey, April, Mike, Robert and Jessica; and great-grandchildren, Brandt, Mark and Raya.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman P. Griffin; parents, Blaise Boudreaux and Alice LeBlanc; brothers, Jimmy Orville and Johnny Boudreaux; and great-grandchild, Megan Fields.
She was a homemaker.

She is also survived by 26 grandchildren, 51 great-grandchildren and 21 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Johnson Sr.; parents, Bartley and Ocielia Colbert Shields; son, Theophilus Kelson; daughters, Ida Mae Spellman and Carolyn Verret; brothers, Adam and Oliver Colbert; and sisters, Mary and Ida Colbert and Corrine Pitkines.
She was Baptist and was the mother of the church at St. Mathews Baptist Church.

He was the husband of Joyce Champagne Gendron; son of Lise Landeche Gendron; father of Keith Gendron, Cheryl Cazenave and Rhonda Breaux; and brother of Jerry and Virgil Gendron and Sylvia Boudreaux. He is also survived by six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jules Gendron; sons, Dale Anthony and Kirk James Gendron; and daughter, Cheryl Ann Gendron.
He was a member of American Legion Post 131 and Woodman of the World Post 494.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. Joseph B. Hawkins Sr. and Gertrude D. Hawkins; brothers, Edwin and Joseph Hawkins; and sisters, Geza E. Hawkins and Betty J. Dennis.
He was a parishioner of St. Luke Catholic Church.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
He was employed by the Lafourche Parish School Board for 32 years as a teacher and guidance counselor.

Louis L. Matherne Jr., 53, a native of Westwego and resident of Chauvin, died at 12:56 p.m. Oct. 4, 2000.
He was cremated.
He was the husband of Earline Sevin Matherne of Chauvin; father of Deke Matherne of Chauvin; and brother of Thomas and Raymond Matherne, Virginia Adams, Pauline Sampey, Louise Dantin, Sylvia Rivers, all of Larose, Doris Najolia of New Orleans, Henrietta Griffin of Gheens and Pearl Davis of North Carolina.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis L. and Manilla Cheramie Matherne Sr.
He was Catholic.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Eddie and Olanda Dufrene Williams; son, Johnny Gisclair; brothers, Edward, Irby, Lawrence, Harold and Woodrow Williams; and sister, Esther Terrebonne.
She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church.
She was a member of the Golden Meadow Senior Citizens.
She enjoyed needlework and gardening.

He was a lifetime member of VFW Post 5097 and American Legion Post 11. He was a veteran of World War II.
