Services for Cecil Williams Miller, 89, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church with the Rev. Steven LeBlanc officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. until 9 p.m. with an 8 p.m. rosary today at David Funeral Home, which will reopen Monday at 8 a.m.
A native of Franklinton and resident of New Iberia, Mr. Miller died at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 22, 1999, at his home in New Iberia.
He was a member of the Kiwanis Club in New Iberia and the Lions Club in Aransas Pass, Texas.
Mr. Miller was a retired superintendent for Atlantic Pipeline Co. where he worked for 47 years.
He is survived by his wife, Mildred Doerle Miller of New Iberia; one daughter, Muriel Ann Jones of Corpus Christi, Texas; one son, Bill Miller of New Iberia; one granddaughter, Brandi Miller of Lafayette; four grandsons, Doug Miller of New Iberia, Derrick Soward and Jeffery Soward, both of Corpus Christi, and Fred Soward of Clear Lake, Texas; one great-granddaughter, Lynzie Blake Miller of New Iberia; and one great-grandson, William Jeffery Soward of Corpus Christi.
Mr. Miller was preceded in death by his father, Samuel Miller; his mother, Hilda Williams Miller; and three brothers, Fred Miller, Glenn Miller and Willis Miller.
Pallbearers will be Pete Aucoin, Tommy Broussard, C.L. Delahoussaye, Dan Doerle, Kirby Hebert, Louis Kutschke, Doug Miller and Sonny Walet.
Honorary pallbearers will be Ray Comeaux, Francis Doerle, Harold Doerle, Paul Doerle Sr., James Dupnik, Johnny Stellman and Henry Walet.

Services for Mrs. Robert O'Brien, 56, the former Dianna Gaye Lancon, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at David Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Caesar Silva officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5:30 to 10 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary today at David Funeral Home, which will reopen Monday from 8 a.m. until the time of services.
A native of Orange, Texas, and a resident of New Iberia, Mrs. O'Brien died at 4:55 p.m. Friday, Jan. 22, 1999, at Iberia Medical Center.
She was a housewife.
Mrs. O'Brien is survived by her husband, Robert O'Brien of New Iberia; her father, Ovide Lancon of New Iberia; her mother, Barbara Moncla Lancon of New Iberia; one son, Michael O'Brien of New Iberia; one daughter, Michelle O'Brien of New Iberia; one sister, Connie Lancon Carter of New Iberia; one brother, Lynn Lancon of New Iberia; two sisters, Linda Desoto of Murfreesbor, Tenn., and Mona Lancon Moss of Houma; and one granddaughter, Meagan O'Brien of New Iberia.

Daniel B. Seely
HOUMA - Services for Daniel Bruce Seely, 39, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Maria Immacolata Catholic Church. Interment will be at St. Francis de Sales #2 Cemetery.
Visitation will be Monday from 9 a.m. until the time of services.
A native of New Iberia and resident of Houma, Mr. Seely died at 10:20 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 23, 1999. He was a senior mechanical engineer for M. Rosenblatt and Son Inc.
Mr. Seely is survived by his wife, Jill Juneke Seely of Houma; his parents, Sidney "Pete" Seely Jr. and Dorothy Moon Seely; two sons, Jacob Christopher Seely and Benjamin Daniel Seely, both of Houma; two brothers, Michael A. Seely and Patrick J. Seely both of Houma; two sisters, Laura Seely Dugas of Prairieville and Susan Seely Faulk of New Iberia; his grandmother, Laura Bourgeois Seely of New Iberia; father-in-law and mother-in-law, William "Billy" and Carolyn Juenke of Houma; 13 nieces and nephews; and one great-nephew.
Mr. Seely was preceded in death by his grandparents, Sidney J. Seely Sr., Benjamin Moon and Frances Moon.

Visitation will be from 2 to 10 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary today at Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home, which will reopen Monday from 8:30 a.m. until the time of services.
A native of New Iberia and a resident of Sulphur for the past 50 years, Mrs. Stein died Saturday, Jan. 23, 1999, in Sulphur.
She was a member of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Sulphur.
Mrs. Stein is survived by her husband, Wilson J. Stein; three sons, Raymond Stein of Sulphur, Turk Stein of California and Todd Stein of Carlyss; two daughters, Gail Darbonne of Carlyss and Wanda Chaumont of Lake Charles; one brother, Leroy Thibodeaux of New Iberia; two sisters, Joyce Dore of New Iberia and Gladys Broussard of Franklin; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, David Stein; two brothers, Westley and Wade Thibodeaux; and one sister, Carrie Broussard.

DELCAMBRE - Services for Eula Segura Lachaussie Bernard, 96, will begin at 2 p.m. today at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church with the Rev. Thomas Voorhies officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be today until the time of services.
A native of Vermilion Parish, and a resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Bernard died at 7:45 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 23, 1999 at a local nursing home.
Mrs. Bernard was a co-owner of Rene's Service Station in New Iberia for 25 years. She was a member of the Home Demonstration Club, the Golden Age Club, the New Iberia Concert Association, and the Sugar Cane Festival Association.
She is survived by a son, Jim Lachaussie and his wife, Marlene Martell, both of New Iberia; a daughter, Mrs. Inez L. Landry of Iberia Parish; nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Rene Lachaussie; second husband, Al Bernard; her parents, Romeal Segura and Avia Viator Segura Thibodeaux; her stepfather, Gabriel Thibodeaux; one son-in-law, Earl Landry Sr.; and a great-grandson, F. Keith Landry Jr.
Pallbearers will be Pierre Lachaussie, Fernand Landry Sr., Rene Landry Sr., Earl Landry Jr., Wayne Landry, and Rory Lopez.

A native of Delcambre and a resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Blaze died at 4:40 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 23, 1999 at University Medical Center following a lengthy illness.
Mrs. Blaze was a housewife. She was a member of St. Peters Catholic Church and a member of the Lay Carmelite.
She is survived by her husband, Edward Blaze of New Iberia; two sisters, Ouida Maturin and Rita Borel, both of New Iberia; a friend, Sylvia Kuhl of New Iberia; a loving nephew, Derrick Randall of New Iberia; a loving friend, Matthew Kuhl of New Iberia; a sister-in-law, Gustavia Mouton of New Iberia; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Augustine Freyou Champagne.

JEANERETTE - Services for Dudley J. Copp Sr., 66, will begin at 1 p.m. Tuesday at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church with the Rev. Ed Degeyter officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Military graveside services will be conducted by the VFW Post 1982.

A native and resident of Jeanerette, Mr. Copp died at 3:25 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 24, 1999 at Medical Center of the Southwest.
Mr. Copp is survived by his wife, Octavia Derouen Copp of Jeanerette; three sons, Paul Copp, Dudley J. Copp Jr., and Ernest Copp Sr., all of Jeanerette; four daughters, Mrs. Terry (Beth) Segura and Mrs. Gary (Denise) Vilcan, both of Charenton, Mrs. Rickey (Wanda) Simon of Sorrell, and Genevieve Segura of New Iberia; four sisters, Mrs. Harrison (Dorothy) Babin, Mrs. Calvin (Hazel) Broussard, and Mrs. Chester (Helen) Verret, all of Websterville, and Mrs. Allen (Virginia) Olivier of St. Martinville; 17 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Euclide and Dalzire Albert Copp.

A native of Iberia Parish, and a resident of Youngsville, Mrs. Richard died at 12:50 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 24, 1999 at a Lafayette hospital.
Mrs. Richard served 19 years in the religious life before her marriage. She was also a member of the St. Ann Altar Society, a Eucharistic minister and taught catechism for many years.
She is survived by her husband, Henry J. Richard of Youngsville; a stepson, Jessie J. Richard Sr. of Youngsville; two step-granddaughters, Tina R. Kreig of Youngsville and Tammy R. Roberts of Broussard; two step-grandsons, Chad Richard and Jessie J. Richard Jr. both of Youngsville; two step-great -grandchildren, Robert Kreig Jr. of Youngsville and Jackson Roberts of Broussard; three sisters, Mrs. Austin (Fannie) Huval of Lafayette, Mrs. Gordy (Celia) Harrington of New Iberia; and Mrs. Roy (Celiva) Thibodeaux of Abbeville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wallace and Azemie Broussard Waguespack; five brothers, Phelimon, Simon, Freddie, Dalton, and Bobby Waguespack; and a sister, Corinne Waguespack.

A resident of St. Martinville, Mr. Resweber died Sunday, Jan. 24, 1999 at his residence.

A native of St. Martinville and a resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Green died at 12:15 p.m. Wednesday , Jan. 20, 1999. at Iberia Medical Center following a lengthy illness.
Mrs. Green is survived by two sons, Hilton and Prosper Green Jr., both of New Iberia; five daughters, Theresa Mason of St. Martinville, Rose Green, Delores Green, Peggy Green, and Shirley Lewis, all of New Iberia; two brothers, Lloyd and Allen Decuir, both of Lafayette; two sisters, Theresa Celestine of Lafayette, and Mary Dennis of Jeanerette; 29 grandchildren; and 36 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Prosper Green Sr.; her parents, Camille and Rita Decuir; two sons, Ernest and Benny Green; two brothers, Milton and Jude Decuir; and a sister, Agnes Bourda.

A native of Loreauville and a resident of New Iberia, Mr. Edler went with the Lord at 4:50 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 17, 1999, at Iberia Medical Center.
Mr. Elder was a drilling superintendent for Exxon. He was a member of Exxon Retirement Club.
He is survived by his wife, Doris Duhon Edler of New Iberia; two daughters, Henny Edler Mahoney and Julie Edler Armentor, both of New Iberia; a son, Robert Joseph "Bozo" Edler Jr. of New Iberia; three grandsons, David Armentor, Sean Mahoney and Robert Edler III, all of New Iberia; six granddaughters, Jennifer Armentor, Dacie Mahoney, Brenna Mahoney, Makenzie Mahoney, Lauren Edler and Annaleesa Edler, all of New Iberia; two sisters, Anna Mae Lanclos of Jeanerette and Thelma Theriot of New Iberia; and one brother, Clarence Toffier of New Iberia.

A native of Chaupin and a resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Fruge died at 12:23 p.m. Monday, Jan. 25, 1999, at her residence.
Mrs. Fruge was a loving mother, grandmother and great -grandmother.
She is survived by a son, Acey J. Fruge Jr of New Iberia; a daughter, Alma F. Hernandez of New Iberia; six grandchildren, Jimmy Bellow Jr., Rhonda Hernandez Theriot and Ricky Hernandez Fruge, all of New Iberia; Troy Fruge of Breaux Bridge ; Randy "Bud" Hernandez and Russ J. Hernandez, both of Indianapolis, Ind.; 14 great-grandchildren; a brother, Douglas Howell of Pineville; a sister, Gladys Massalatti of Bayou Louis; and her companion, Burley Aucoin of New Iberia.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Acey J. Fruge; her parents, William and Bertha Thompson Foster; two brothers, Lawrence Foster and Melvin Howell; and a grandson, Chet Bellow.

A native of Iberia Parish and a resident of Jeanerette, Mrs. DeRouen died at 10:15 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 26, 1999, at Iberia Medical Center. 
Mrs. DeRouen was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church and a member of the Rosary Group.
She is survived by three sons, Antoine DeRouen, Charles DeRouen and Joseph Guy DeRouen, all of Jeanerette; five daughters, Mrs. Beverly "Jim" (Joyce) LaBiche, Mrs. Dudley (Octavia) Copp and Mrs. Carol (Rosalie) Landry, all of Jeanerette, Mrs. Alfred (Juliet) Landry of Franklin and Mrs. Ambrose (Mary Ann) Blanchard of Charenton; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Anthony (Lelia) Powers of Harahan, and Mrs. Charles (Lilly Stoute) Broussard of Lafayette; 38 grandchildren; 71 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Octave "Jack" DeRouen; her parents, Henry Gabriel Hebert and Rosalie Granger Hebert; a son, Joseph Paul DeRouen; a grandson, Alfred B. Services for Ross Joseph Colletti, 70, will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church with the Rev. Steve LeBlanc officiating. Entombment will be in the Beau Pre Mausoleum. Military graveside services will be conducted by VFW Post 1982 Honor Guard.
Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. today with a 6:30 p.m rosary at Evangeline Funeral Home, which will reopenThursday at 8 a.m. until the time of services.
A native of Jeanerette and a resident of New Iberia, Mr. Colletti died Tuesday, Jan. 26, 1999, at a New Orleans hospital. 
Mr. Coletti was a Korean War veteran of the U.S. Army Quartermaster Corp. He was the founder and owner of Cobra Advertising for 45 years. He was a member of the New Iberia Chamber of Commerce, Kiwanis Club and was on the board of directors. He was also a member and chairman of the New Iberia Tourist Commission.
He was survived by his wife, Mary Dean Moity Colletti of New Iberia; two daughters, Gina Colletti Carrier of New Iberia, and Sandy Colletti Speer of New Orleans; two brothers, Anthony Colletti of Jeanerette and Joe Colletti of Houma; three sisters, Mamie Landry and Sarah Miguez, both of Jeanerette, and Camella Woodby of Townsend, Tenn.; four grandchildren, Colt Colletti, Stone Speer, Lucas Carrier and Hunter Speer.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ross J. Colletti, and Sarah Culotta Colletti; and a brother, Nicholas Colletti.
Pallbearers will be Colt Colletti, Oscar Speer, Reggie Carrier, Bert Guiberteau, Wayne White and Donald Sanders.
Honorary pallbearers will be Joe Colletti and Anthony Colletti.
Evangeline Funeral Home of New Iberia is in charge of arrangements.

Michael Polk
Services for Michael "Forley" James Polk, 40, will begin at 8 p.m. Thursday at St. Edwards Catholic Church with the Rev. Thomas James officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-7:30 p.m. Thursday with a 7 p.m. rosary at Journet and Bolden Funeral Home , which will reopen at 7:30 a.m. Friday until the time of dismissial services.
A native of New Iberia, Mr. Polk died at 6:08 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 23, 1999, at the Veterans Administration Hospital in New Orleans following a lengthy illness.
Mr. Polk is survived by his parents, Russell Polk and Bersia Anthony Polk, both of New Iberia; a daughter, Roxanne Renne Charles of New Iberia; three brothers, Johnathan L. Polk of New Iberia, Russell Polk Jr. and Kendall M. Polk of Dallas; two brothers-in-law, Reginald Babin of New Iberia and Clarence Duhon of Lafayette; three sisters, April P. Babin of New Iberia, Veronica P. Duhon of Lafayette and Rosalind Polk of Dallas.
He was preceded by his paternal grandparents, Bonnie Polk Sr. and Mable Barnes Polk; maternal grandparents, Nathan Anthony and Audrey Gregoire Anthony.
Pallbearers will be Russell Polk Jr., Kendall Polk, Johnathan Polk Sr., Reginald Babin, Clarence Duhon and Carl Polk.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of the family and friends.
Journet and Bolden of New Iberia is in charge of arrangements.
