JEANERETTE - Services for Leroy Prince, 75, will begin at 2 p.m. Sunday at the David & Landry Funeral Home of Jeanerette with the Rev. Andrew Hebert officiating. Interment will be in the Beau Pre Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. today at the funeral home, which will reopen at 8 a.m. Sunday until time of services.
A native of Cypremort Point and resident of Lydia, Mr. Prince died at 5:05 a.m., Friday, Nov. 21, 1997, at Iberia Medical Center.
He was a night watchman for the Morton Salt Co.
Mr. Prince is survived by his wife, Irma Ewing Prince of Lydia; his sister, Belle Prince Grantham of Sulphur and four brothers, Galen Prince of Cypremort Point, Ira Prince, Lawrence Prince and Harold Prince Sr., all of Lydia.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Blanche Guidroz Prince Sr.; two brothers, Ernest Prince Jr. and Lyman Prince Sr. and two sisters, Hilda Prince Borel and Genevie Prince Pichoff.
Pallbearers will be Ricky Prince, Melvin Landry, Ira Prince, Francis Prince Sr., Norbert Prince Sr. and Lyman Prince Jr.

Lucille Duhon
LAFAYETTE - Services for Lucille D. Duhon, 86, will begin at 2 p.m. today with a Mass of Christian burial at the Martin & Castille Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Cedric Sonnier officiating. Interment will be in the Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation was from 5 p.m. Friday until time of services today, with a 6 p.m. rosary Friday at the funeral home chapel.
A native of Vermilion Parish and resident of Lafayette for most of her life, Mrs. Duhon died at 4:40 a.m. Friday, Nov. 21, 1997, at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Duhon is survived by two sons, Jim Duhon and Lynn Duhon, both of Maurice; four sisters, Neuvee Vincent, Alga Landry, Audrey Mae Villien and Jane Broussard, all of Maurice; three brothers, Paul Duhon of Maurice, Carrol Duhon of Port Acres, Texas and Clarence Duhon of Groves, Texas, and three grandchildren.
Mrs. Duhon was preceded in death by her parents, Ode and Anna Baudoin Duhon; her husband, Clovis Duhon and one grandson, Yancy Duhon.
Pallbearers will be James Patrick Duhon, Bo Broussard, Derek Touchet, Kyle Duhon, Clint Savoy and Brian Baumgardner.

Services for Mrs. Lester Delaune, 91, the former Erma Halpin, will begin at 3 p.m. Sunday at St. Peter's Catholic Church with the Rev. William Rogalla officiating. Interment will be in the Holy Family Mausoleum.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. today, with a 7 p.m. rosary at the David Funeral Home of New Iberia, which will reopen at 10 a.m. Sunday until time of services.
A native of Arkansas and resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Delaune died at 2:45 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 20, 1997, at her home.
She was a housewife.
Mrs. Delaune is survived by one son, Robert Johnson of New Iberia; a daughter, Marye Delaune Partin of San Diego; a sister, Gladys Harris of Indiana; eight grandchildren and numerous great and great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Delaune was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Delaune; her father, Frank Halpin; her mother, Bertha Gebhart Halpin Young; a son, Paul Johnson, and a brother, John R. Halpin.
Pallbearers will be family members.

ERATH - Services for Mrs. Dudley Dugas, 83, the former Yolande Boudreaux, will begin at 1 p.m. today at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with the Rev. Charles Langlois officiating. Interment will be in Our Lady of the Lake Cemetery in Delcambre.
Visitation was from 3:30-10 p.m. Friday, with a 5 and 7 p.m. rosary at the Broussard Funeral Home Chapel, which will reopen at 8 a.m. today.
Mrs. Dugas died at 7:10 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 20, 1997, at the West Jefferson Hospital in Marrero.

Jack Tilbury
Services for Jack Vernon Tilbury, 78, will begin at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Peter's Catholic Church with Monsignor Guy Lemoine officiating. Interment will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery in Loreauville with military graveside rites conducted by V.F.W. Post 1982.
Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. today with a 7 p.m. rosary at the David Funeral Home of New Iberia, which will reopen at 8 a.m. Monday until time of services.
A native of Detroit and resident of New Iberia, Mr. Tilbury died at 3:30 p.m., Friday, Nov. 21, 1997, at Dauterive Hospital.
A World War II veteran, Mr. Tilbury was a compressor operator for Texaco for 38 years. He was a member of V.F.W. Post 1982.
Mr. Tilbury is survived by his wife, Lydia "Tiny" Amy Tilbury of New Iberia; one son, John Tilbury of New Iberia; two brothers, Joe Tilbury of Monaville, Texas, and Richard "Dick" Tilbury of Corpus Christi, Texas; one sister, Pat Pillows of Caldwell, Texas; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Margaret Hunt Tilbury; a daughter, Diane T. Conner; three brothers, Bill Tilbury, Jerry Tilbury and Robert Tilbury, and a sister, Mary Malone.
Pallbearers will be Edward Tilbury, Harold Hulin, Frank Romero, Eddie Sorrell, Chad Tilbury and Scott Tilbury.

A native of Garden City and resident of Loreauville, Mrs. Doerle died at 7:02 p.m., Friday, Nov. 21, 1997, in a Lafayette hospital.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Mrs. Doerle is survived by her father, Charles Broussard of Loreauville; one son, Wayne C. Doerle of Lafayette; one daughter, Mrs. Cecil (Bobette Doerle) Landry of New Iberia; one sister, Mrs. John (Peggy) Lagan of Loreauville and one grandson, Jordan Charles Landry of New Iberia.
Mrs. Doerle was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. "Bob" Doerle and her mother, Beatrice Ronsonet Broussard.

A native and resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Bryan died at 12:40 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 23, 1997, at her residence.
She was owner and operator of Simon's Glass Co. for the past four years. She enjoyed fishing as a hobby. Her favorite was bass fishing. Her family extends deep and special thanks to Linda Robicheaux Ramsey of New Iberia. She was a special friend who devoted much care and support during Jean's lengthy illness.
Mrs. Bryan is survived by her father, James Herman Simon of New Iberia; two daughters, Alison Celeste Bryan and Jennifer Clare Bryan, both of New Iberia; one brother, W. David Simon of Mandeville; her maternal grandmother, Helen Has Ducote of Bunkie; and her paternal grandmother, Mamie Barousse Simon of New Iberia.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Ducote Simon.

He was retired from AMOCO/Cropmate after 35 years of service. Mr. Daigle was a U.S. Army veteran, a life member and past post commander of the VFW Post 8150, a life member of the American Legion Post 26 and a member of the 50 Plus Club.
Mr. Daigle is survived by his wife, Lorraine Migues Daigle of Jeanerette; two sons, Louis P. Daigle and Ira R. Daigle Jr., both of Jeanerette; one stepson, Brad Louviere Sr. of Jeanerette; one daughter, Lana Daigle Rentz of Jeanerette; one stepdaughter, Janis Louviere Helms of Jeanerette; two brothers, Charles Daigle and Leroy Daigle, both of Jeanerette; two sisters, Doris Kapp of Lydia and Geraldine Moresi of Jeanerette; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; 10 stepgrandchildren; and six stepgreat-grandchildren.

A native of Franklin and resident of Jeanerette for 54 years, Mr. Smith died Sunday, Nov. 23, 1997, at his residence following a lengthy illness.
He was retired from Walter R. LeJeune Inc. after working for 51 years, a member of First Jerusalem Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and a member of Evergreen Lodge No. 31, F&AM.
Mr. Smith is survived by his wife, Thelma J. Smith; four sons, Larry R. Smith of Jeanerette, Ronnie Smith of Missouri City, Texas, Charles A. Smith of Rosharon, Texas, and Akil Yusef Aziz (Gerald Smith) of Lafayette; one daughter, Gwendolyn S. Francis of New Iberia; two brothers, Howard Smith Sr. of Franklin and Charles L. Smith of Houston; one sister, Dorothy S. White of Galena Park, Texas; 21 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul Smith and Mary Luster Smith; two brothers; and five sisters.

FRANKLIN - Services for Raymond Jackson, 37, will begin at 8 p.m. Friday at Otis Mortuary Chapel. Interment will be in the Sorrell Cemetery in Sorrell.
Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. Friday with an 8 p.m. rosary at the chapel. The chapel will reopen at 9 a.m. Saturday.
A native of Charenton and resident of Jeanerette, Mr. Jackson died Saturday, Nov. 22, 1997 at his residence.
Mr. Jackson is survived by his wife, Mary Washington Jackson of Jeanerette; his father, Louis Green, his stepfather, James Alexander, his mother, Cora Jackson, all of Olivier; three sons, Lance, Bob, and Arnold Washington, all of Jeanerette; one daughter, Lakeisha Henry of Charenton; four brothers, Mike, Tyrone, James, and Kenneth Jackson, all of Olivier; four stepbrothers, Clarence, Dennis, Paul and Samuel Alexander, all of Franklin; one sister, Tiffany Alexander of Olivier and one grandchild.

Francis Antoine
Services for Francis "Tony" Antoine, 61, will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Edward Catholic Church with the Rev. Thomas James officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. today with a 7 p.m. rosary, at Journet and Bolden Funeral Home, which will reopen at 7:30 a.m. Saturday.
A native of New Iberia and resident of Washington, D.C., for 30 years, Mr. Antoine died at 8:15 a.m. Friday, Nov. 21, 1997, in St. Louis, Mo.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran having served in many diverse worldwide locations that included service during the Vietnam War. Mr. Antoine rose through the military service as a photographer's mate and air crew member, achieving the rank of chief petty officer with numerous professional decorations and personal accomplishments. He continued to enjoy a long and distinguished naval career that transcended 40 years of service to include his current position in Naval Intelligence Command as a GS-14 level representative of the Civilian Intelligence Personnel Office.
He is survived by two sons, Andre' Antoine of Seattle, Wash., and Francis Antoine Jr. of Forestville, Md.; one daughter, Rene' Eaton of Seattle; six brothers, Edward Antoine, Perry Antoine and Merrick Antoine, all of New Iberia, Peter Antoine of Lake Charles, and Weldon Antoine and Merlin Antione, both of Fort Wayne, Ind.; two sisters, Verda Bradford of Fort Wayne and Delores Antoine of New Iberia; and three grandchildren.
Mr. Antoine was preceded in death by his parents, Henry L. Antoine Sr. and Freda F. Antoine; two brothers, Henry Antoine Jr. and Glenn Antoine; and three sisters, Matilda Perodin, Madello Butler and Yolanda Antoine.

He is survived by his former wife, Joyce Narcisse of St. Joseph; one son, Burnell Albert Narcisse of Franklin; four daughters, Reponzala Smith of Hinesville, Ga., Vanessa Narcisse of Franklin, Anna Alexander and Vern Williams; one sister-in-law, Mary Lee Manuel of Jeanerette; one sister, Beulah Narcisse of Houston; and 15 grandchildren.
Mr. Narcisse was preceded in death by his parents.
Pallbearers will be Albert Alexander, Sgt. Kevin Smith, Kevin Davis, Zack Bennett, Rodney Phillips and Andy Hebert.
Honorary pallbearers will be Harry Francis, Burnell Albert Narcisse, Claroid Washington, William Jenkins, Arthur Davis Jr., Clergyman Joseph Eddie and Freddie Narcisse.

Valerie M. DeRouen
Services for Mrs. Arthur DeRouen, 90, the former Valerie Molaire, will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday at St. Peter's Catholic Church with the Rev. Keith DeRouen officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. today with a 6:30 p.m. rosary at Evangeline Funeral Home, which will reopen at 7 a.m. Saturday until the time of services.
A native of Loreauville and resident of New Iberia; Mrs. DeRouen died at 11:15 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 27, 1997, at a New Iberia nursing home.
She operated DeRouen Upholstery along with her husband Arthur DeRouen from 1946-1987. Mrs. DeRouen was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church where she taught CCD classes for many years, a member of the Catholic Daughters of America for many years and she belonged to the Gloria Mundi Travel Club.
Mrs. DeRouen is survived by four sons and daughters-in-law, Dallas J. DeRouen and his wife, Evelyn, Ray J. DeRouen and his wife, Rena, and Francis L. DeRouen and his wife, Lois, all of New Iberia, and Chris A. DeRouen and his wife, Christine of Baton Rouge; 12 grandchildren, Brenda Aucoin, Julia LeBlanc, Lynn DeRouen, Dwight DeRouen, Debra Sonnier, Donna Pontiff and Dale Robinson, all of New Iberia, Dwayne DeRouen of North Carolina, Marsha Williams and Valerie Stevens, both of Jackson, Miss., Paul DeRouen and Brian Degan, both of Baton Rouge; and 13 great-grandchildren, Shaye Lee Aucoin, Rusty Aucoin, Natalie LeBlanc, Karla LeBlanc, Michelle DeRouen, Mandy DeRouen, Jade DeRouen, Drew Sonnier, Derek Sonnier, Keisha DeRouen and Chace Robinson, all of New Iberia, Alejandra DeRouen and Rebecca DeRouen both of North Carolina.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur DeRouen; one daughter, Betty Jo DeRouen; her parents, Eno and Julia LeBlanc Molaire; and two brothers, Alfred Molaire and Armond Molaire.
Pallbearers will be Dallas J. DeRouen, Ray J. DeRouen, Francis L. DeRouen, Chris A. DeRouen, Lynn A. DeRouen and Elwood Molaire.

Raoul Gary
ERATH - Services for Raoul Gary, 87, will begin at 11 a.m. today at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with the Rev. Wayne Duet officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 8 a.m. today until the time of services at Broussard Funeral Home.
Mr. Gary died at 2:15 a.m. Friday, Nov. 28, 1997, at his home in rural Abbeville.
