A native of Jeanerette, Ms. Rogers died at 3:45 p.m. Saturday, Oct.
18, 1997, in Loreauville.
She worked as a registered nurse at Columbia Dauterive Hospital where
she was head of the Intensive Care Unit for many years.
Ms. Rogers is survived by six brothers, Frank Rogers, Michael Rogers
and Roland Rogers, all of Jeanerette, John Rogers of Lafayette, Kirby Rogers
of Austin, Texas, and Peter Rogers of New Orleans; and four sisters, Jane
Boudreaux and Mary Thibodeaux, both of Lafayette, and Suzanne Luke and
Rita Rogers, both of Jeanerette.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Kirby S. and Marguerite Minvielle
Rogers; and one brother, Robert Rogers.

Sr. of Jeanerette; and two brothers, Anthony Gibson Sr. of Ft. Hood, Texas,
and David Wayne Gibson of Jeanerette.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Joe and Maggie

and two aunts.

served on the Board of Directors for City Bank and Trust and was co-owner
of Gonsoulin Brothers Inc.
Mr. Gonsoulin is survived by his wife, Hazel Barrilleaux Gonsoulin

A native and resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Montandon died at 1:36 p.m.
Sunday, Oct. 26, 1997, at a New Iberia hospital.
She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Larry (Betty) "Jean" Guillotte,
Mrs. Sam (Kathy) Domingue and Mrs. Harold (Linda) Boullion, all of New
Iberia; two brothers, Joseph "Joe" Giarratano of Mississippi and Frank
Giarratano of New Iberia; three sisters, Mrs. Edmond (Josephine) "Josie"
Bourque and Mrs. Welsey (Rose) Ronsonet, both of New Iberia, and Mrs. Frank
(Joanne) de Hargara of Pompano Beach, Fla.; four grandchildren; and six
great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Montandon was preceded in death by her husband, Albert "Al" Montandon;
her parents, Emanuel and Bonita Citrano Giarratano; and one grandson, Todd
Anthony Guillotte.
Pallbearers will be Larry Guillotte, Sam Domingue, Harold Boullion,
Clay Terry, Greg Champagne and Matthew Champagne.
Honorary pallbearers will be Frank Giarratano, Joseph "Joe" Giarratano
and Ronnie Ronsonet.

BROUSSARD - Services for Mrs. George Girouard, 96, the former Nathalie
Landry, will begin at 2 p.m. today at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment
will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be at David Mortuary until the time of services.
A native of Broussard and resident of Lafayette, Mrs. Girouard died
at 6:10 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, 1997, at Lady of the Oaks Nursing Home.

Charles Francisco
Services for Charles Francisco, 28, will begin at 8 p.m. today at Journet
and Bolden Funeral Home. Interment will be in the St. Matthew Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. today at the funeral home, which will
reopen from 7:30-10 a.m. Thursday.
A native and resident of New Iberia, Mr. Francisco died at 1 a.m. Sunday,
Oct. 26, 1997.
He is survived by his parents, Sidney Francisco and Florence Londo
of New Iberia; five brothers, Jimmy Francisco, Floyd Francisco, Michael
Francisco and Davis Francisco, all of New Iberia, and Junior Francisco
of Lafayette; eight sisters, Delores Sam, Gloria Homles, Theresa Francisco,
Rose Francisco, Shirley Francisco and Nancy Francisco, all of New Iberia,
Mary Cole of Loreauville, and Geraldine Daniel of Jeanerette; and 54 nieces
and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Phillips, Easton Sam, Ronald Daniel, Bradley
Davis, Calvin Jackson and Thomas Cole.

ERATH - Services are pending for Clerphy "Tee Chere" LeBlanc, 95, who
died at 6 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 28, 1997.

Murray P. Delcambre
RYNELLA - Services for Murray Paul Delcambre, 65, will begin at 2 p.m.

graveside services conducted by VFW Post 1982 of New Iberia.

A native and resident of New Iberia, Mr. Delcambre died at 11:30 p.m.,
Tuesday, Oct. 28, 1997, at his residence.
He was previous owner of Murray's Frame and Alignment in New Iberia,
a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in the Korean War and was a member
of the IBEW Local 901 for 20 years.
Mr. Delcambre is survived by his wife, Earline Delcambre Delcambre
of New Iberia; his mother, Winnie Waguespack Delcambre of New Iberia; three
sons, Dale A. Delcambre and Jade P. Delcambre, both of New Iberia, and
Robbie J. Delcambre of Erath; three daughters, Suezell D. Bunney of The
Woodlands, Texas, Danette D. Sandoz of New Iberia and Sandy L. Delcambre
of New Iberia; one brother, Verland J. Delcambre of Lafayette; and 10 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Roy G. Delcambre.
Pallbearers will be Robbie J. Delcambre, Jade P. Delcambre, Dale A.
Delcambre, Jason Delcambre, Carroll Sandoz Jr. and Michael Moore.

ST. MARTINVILLE - Services for Johnny I. Etienne Sr., 82, will begin

A native of St. Martinville, Mr. Etienne died Sunday, Oct. 26, 1997,
at Ollie Steele Burden Manor in Baton Rouge.
He was a veteran of World War II having served in the U.S. Army and
a member of the St. Joseph Benevolent Society and the American Legion.
Mr. Etienne is survived by two sons, Eldridge C. Etienne of Baton Rouge
and Glenn R. Etienne of Houston; three daughters, Anastasia E. Marshall
of St. Louis, Iris E. Williams of Birmingham, Ala., and Marthaleen E. Cooper
of Houston; two brothers, Louis Etienne Sr. of St. Martinville and Ulysse
Etienne Jr. of Schenectady, New York; one sister, Mable E. Daggs of Marrero;
and 11 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Hazel Dugas Etienne; his parents,
Mr. and Mrs. Ulysse Etienne Sr.; one son, Johnny Etienne Jr.; two brothers,
James Etienne and Howard Etienne; and two sisters, Enola Etienne and Lucy
Breaux.

ST. MARTINVILLE - Services for Edna Albert Dore Verret, 84, will begin
