Hobert Buhl
Hobert Buhl, 84, of Vine Grove, died Monday, June 3, 2002, in Vine Grove.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Imogene Buhl; his parents, Ed and Mary Jane Buhl; three sisters; and a brother.
Survivors include two daughters, Mary L. Allgauer and Gloria Caldwell, both of Vine Grove; four sons, Edward Levi Buhl of Chardon, Ohio, Donald Ray Buhl of Elizabethtown, Hobert Buhl Jr. of East Lake, Ohio, and Harold Ray Buhl of Cincinnati; a brother, Ray Buhl of Williamsburg; a sister, Ruby Long of Dayton, Ohio; 13 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
The funeral is 11 a.m. Thursday at Ellison Funeral Home in Williamsburg with the Rev. Kevin Byrd officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery in Pleasant View.
Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Nelson-Edelen-Bennett Funeral Home in Vine Grove and continues from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and at 10 a.m. Thursday at Ellison Funeral Home in Williamsburg.

Hardin Coogle
Hardin Coogle, 90, of Otterbein, Ind., died Wednesday, June 5, 2002, at Home Hospital in Lafayette, Ind.
A native of Eastview, he was a farmer and enjoyed riding his bicycle.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lora Coogle; his parents, Acie Coogle and Anna Miller; a brother; and five sisters.
Survivors include two sons, Larry Coogle of West Lafayette and Garry Coogle of Otterbein; a daughter, LaVerne Wilmot of Sharpsville, Ind.; two brothers, Singleton Coogle of Fowler, Ind., and Park Coogle of Eastview; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
The funeral is 11 a.m. Friday at Schuyler Avenue Wesleyan Church with Pastor Tom Schmidt officiating. Burial will be in Tippecanoe Memory Garden in West Lafayette.
Visitation is from 6 to 9 p.m. today at Shoemaker Funeral Home, 26 South Main St., in Otterbein and continues at 10 a.m. Friday at the church.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Schuyler Avenue Weslyan Church or Kokomo Southdowns Wesleyan Church.

Donald Eugene Hester
Donald Eugene Hester, 64, of Elizabethtown, died Tuesday, June 4, 2002, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown.
A native of Cub Run, he was a member of Vineyard Christian Fellowship of Elizabethtown and was retired from Mouser's Kitchens.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Ora Childers Hester.
Survivors include his wife, Darlene Vance Hester; two sons, Steve Hester of Elizabethtown and Marty Eason of Louisville; two daughters, Donna King of Glasgow and Tricia Eason DiPietro of Elizabethtown; two sisters, Millie Ash and Sue Zajac, both of Priceville; and five grandchildren.
The funeral is 2 p.m. Friday at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown with Pastor Mike Smith officiating. Burial will be in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.
Visitation is from 4 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Ramon T. Luna
Ramon T. Luna, 17, of Hodgenville, died Tuesday, June 4, 2002, in Campbellsburg.
A native of Pontiac, Mich., he would have been a senior at LaRue County High School, where he had been on the wrestling team for five years. He was a member of Brooks Baptist Church.
Survivors include his mother, Maria Salazar of Hodgenville; his father, Noa Luna of Pontiac; three sisters, Jessica Bernal of Toledo, Ohio, Angelique Lemos of Pontiac and Ramona L. Willis of Hodgenville; a stepsister, Heather Cain of Pontiac; a stepbrother, Noah Camren of Pontiac; and his grandmother, Margaret Garcia of Elizabethtown.
The funeral is 11 a.m. Friday at Brooks Baptist Church in Elizabethtown with the Rev. Raford Herrin officiating. Burial will follow in Red Hill Cemetery in Hodgenville.
Visitation is from 3 to 9 p.m. today at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown.
A dinner will be held at the United Methodist Church of Hodgenville, 825 Tonieville Road, after the graveside service.

Emily R. McCullum, 91, of Elizabethtown, died Wednesday, June 5, 2002, at Helmwood Healthcare Center in Elizabethtown.
Arrangements are incomplete at Dixon-Atwood Funeral Home in Elizabethtown.

Joyce Cofer Patterson
Joyce Cofer Patterson, 69, of Elizabethtown, died Wednesday, June 5, 2002, at her residence.
A native of Hardin County, she was a member of First Presbyterian Church. She was a retired title clerk at Bob Swope Ford.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Flint and Inez Lee Cofer.
Survivors include her husband, Jerry L. Patterson; two sons, Jonny Cofer of Conyers, Ga., and Jerry Ray Patterson of Lexington; three daughters, Judy Lee Engle of Glendale and Jamie Fites and Jackie Burckley, both of Elizabethtown; a sister, Boots Roberson of Elizabethtown; and five grandchildren.
The funeral is 4 p.m. Friday at at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown with the Rev. Steve Hill officiating. Burial will be in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.
Visitation begins at 4:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Helen Young Crafton Williams
Helen Young Crafton Williams, 70, of Leitchfield, died Tuesday, June 4, 2002, at Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center.
A native of Henderson County, she retired from teaching after having taught for the Cloverport and Breckinridge County School System, Corydon, Dawson Springs and St. Brigid in Vine Grove. She was a member of Leitchfield United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Brooks and Edna Young Crafton.
Survivors include her husband, the Rev. W. Alfred Williams; two daughters, Anniesse Williams of Greenville and Beth Speedy of Louisville; a son, Harold Williams of Louisville; a sister, Martha Crafton Tow of Sebree; and two grandchildren.
The funeral is 11 a.m. Central time Friday at Watson and Hunt Funeral Directors, US Hwy. 62 East in Leitchfield. Burial will be 11 a.m. Central time Saturday in Fernwood Cemetery in Henderson.
Visitation begins at 5 p.m. Central time Thursday at the funeral home.
