Richard L. Sparrow
Arrangements are pending at DeLaughter-McKee Mortuary for Richard L. Sparrow of 308 N. Market St., North Manchester, IN. Former Vocational Agriculture teacher at Manchester High School, and currently serving as a Manchester Community Schools Board member, he died Tuesday, May 12, 1998 at 5:50 p.m. at Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis, IN.
Wolfgang Mueller, 42, of Durham, N.C. and formerly of North Manchester, IN, died Sept. 28, 1996 at his residence in Durham. He was cremated at the time. He was born Feb. 3, 1954 at Varel, Germany to the late Johannes Mueller and Hannelore (Dubig) Mueller of Durham, N.C. He was a vet-eran of the U.S. Air Force.
Graveside service will be held Saturday, May 16, 1998 at 11:00 a.m. at Oaklawn Cemetery, North Manchester, with Rev. Jeffrey Hawkins of-ficiating.

William E. Stone
William E. Stone, 50, of 504 Singer Road, North Manchester, IN died Wednesday, May 6, 1998 at his residence. He was born Sept. 16, 1947 at Logan, WV to the late John Wesley Stone and Violet (Kitchen) Stone of Logan, WV.
He married Glenda Gillum October 8, 1967 in Lincoln Park, MI. He was a 1966 grad-uate of Logan High School in Logan, WV. He was a member of Oil, Chemical and Atomic Workers Union at Laketon Refinery. He was a member of Moose Lodge #1518 in North Manchester. He was currently employed as an operator at the Laketon Refinery.
Survivors include his wife, Glenda of North Manchester; his mother, Violet Stone of Logan, WV; sons John Wesley Stone II and his wife Bobbi of Columbia City; and Brandon J. Stone and wife Michelle of Wabash; a brother, Elmer Stone of Sarah Ann, WV; and three grandchildren.
Funeral service was held Sunday, My 10, 1998 at the Christian Fellowship Church with Pastor J.P. Freeman offi-ciating. Burial was in Oaklawn Cemetery, N. Manchester.
Arrangements were by Grandstaff-Hentgen Bender Chapel.
LeRoy D. Ward
LeRoy Duyane Ward, 74, of 532 N. Parker St., Warsaw, IN, died Saturday, May 2, 1998 in Nassau, Bahamas. He was born July 10, 1923 at Huntington County, Indiana to Clifford and Icy (Gilbert) Ward. He married Mary O. Wall March 7, 1942 and she died October 18, 1992; he then married on January 15, 1994 Jean Reich who died July 4, 1997. He was currently married to Dorothy Symons as of Nov. 15, 1997. He had resided in Warsaw for one year, having retired from United Technology of North Manchester; Ace Hardware of North Manchester, and was currently employed at Miller's Merry manor of Warsaw. He attended First Baptist Church of Warsaw.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy of Warsaw, IN; two daughters, Mrs. Glen (Suzi) Ashby and Mary Titus, both of Warsaw; a step son, Tom Symons of Warsaw; two grandchildren - Mitch Titus and Amber Titus; two great-grandchildren, and one step-great-granddaughter.
Funeral service was held Friday, May 8, 1998 at the Titus Funeral Home of Warsaw with Pastor Karl Kloppmann officiating. Burial was in Roann Community Cemetery of Roann, IN.
