LOIS I. GIBSON, 75, died Thursday at Lutheran Hospital. Born in Fort Wayne, she retired in 1987 as a registered nurse at St. Joseph Hospital after 35 years. Surviving are four daughters, Suzanne Bierbaum of New Haven, Mary Jane Gibson and Rose Marie Gibson, both of Fort Wayne, and Rebecca Rodgers of Leo-Cedarville; a son, George D. of Fort Wayne; three sisters, Corinne Oetting, Mary Kleber and Marjorie McClurg, all of Fort Wayne; a brother, Robert Kintz of Oswego, N.Y.; and four grandchildren. Her husband, George, died in 1985. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 2610 New Haven Ave., with calling one hour before services. LAVERNE M. REINKING, 70, died Thursday at Lutheran Homes. She was born in Allen County. Surviving are a brother, Richard H. ROY J. ROBERTS, 62, died Thursday at home. Born in Richlands, Va., he was the owner and operator of Roberts Drywall for 35 years and had also worked for Painters Local 469. He was a U.S. Navy veteran. Surviving are his wife, Bettye A.; two sons, Keith of Fort Wayne and Lawrence Edward of Wichita, Kan.; two daughters, Debra Diane Roberts of Christiana, Tenn., and Drenda Sue Phillips of Kingsport, Tenn.; three brothers, Harold and Erie, both of Richlands, and Troy J. of Fort Wayne; a sister, Hazel Johnson of Fort Wayne; and six grandchildren. VIRGIL GEORGE SCHAEFER, 72, died Wednesday at Lutheran Hospital. Surviving are his wife, Violet A.; a daughter, Pam J. Welsh of Fort Wayne; a son, Rick of Fort Wayne; two sisters, Anna Stippich and Pat Ladig, both of New Haven; four brothers, Clarence Schaefer and Donald Schaefer, both of Grabill, and Jimmie Collette and Jon Robert Collette, both of Fort Wayne; and five grandchildren. Surviving are his wife, Mary A.; a son, Patrick A. of Hartford City; four daughters, Carol Elizabeth Garrett of Santa Cruz, Calif., Alica R. Van Gordon of Indianapolis and Vera Ann Wyatt and Ethel Mae Fick, both of Fort Wayne; 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Robert Ward Garrett of Muncie and Raymond W.
