Gertrude Asbrock
     Mrs. Gertrude Asbrock, 69, of Big Four St., Eldorado, died at 10:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 8, 1997 in Fountainview Nursing Home in Eldorado.
     She was born in Eldorado on May 6, 1927, to the late Ivory and Lula Hall Ford. She was a Baptist by faith.
     Surviving are a daughter, Pat Kramer of Chicago; and two sisters, Betty Augler of Eldorado and Credie Kissel of Oregon. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home in Eldorado, where friends may call after 9 a.m. until service time Friday. The Rev. Bill Jones will officiate. Private burial will be in Wolf Creek Cemetery at Eldorado.

Lyle James Wood
     Lyle James (Hunk) Wood, 77, of Rosiclare, died Wednesday, Jan. 8, 1997 at his home. He was a member of the Board of Directors at the State Bank of Rosiclare.
     Mr. Wood was a member of First Christian Church, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and American Legion. 
     Surviving are his wife, the former Anita Howard; a daughter and son-in-law, Lyla and Galen Talley of Clinton, Ky.; a son and daughter-in-law, Edward and Willie Wood of Aurora, Colo.; three sisters and two sons-in-laws Phyllis Orbits of Rosiclare, Dorothy and James Carter of Aurora and Norma Lee and Don Reu of Fort Madison, Iowa; a brother, Frank and his wife, Clarice Wood of Elburn; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
     He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Wood and a brother, Sam Wood.
     Services will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at Hosick Funeral Home in Rosiclare, where friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday. Bro. Leonard Largent will officiate and burial will be in the Howard Family Cemetery in Rosiclare.
     Donations may be made to the Quality of Life Services-Hospice in lieu of flowers.

Helen Lorene Dale
     Mrs. Helen Lorene Dale, 70, of Elizabethtown, died Tuesday, Jan. 7, 1997 at Barnes Jewish Hospital North in St. Louis. Surviving are daughter, Carolyn McDowell of Indianapolis, Ind.; two sons, Charles Dale of Cave-in-Rock and Gene Dale of Shawneetown; a sister, Hazel Hess of Hill City, Minn.; three brothers, John Lasater and Lowell D. Lasater, both of Elizabethtown and Charles Willard Lasater of Mason, Mich.; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a friend who cared for her Bob Blaine of Elizabethtown.
     Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Rose-Gilbert Funeral Home in Cave-in-Rock, where friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. to service time Friday. Burial will be in Cave Hill Cemetery.
     Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.

Anna Scadden Campbell
     Mrs. Anna Scadden Campbell, of Olney, formerly of Harrisburg, died Wednesday in a nursing home there. She was the daughter of George and Mary Belle Scadden.
     Surviving are two daughters, Mary Beth Fann and Betty Scadden; a grandson, Bobby Fann; three nieces, Mary E. Winkleman and Nina Angelly, both of Harrisburg and Delores Healy of Middletown, Ohio; and two nephews, Kenneth Fleming and Carl Ray Fleming. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Albert Scadden and Roy Scadden; and a sister, Alice Fleming.
     Services and burial will be in Olney.

Vida Lee Goodson
     Mrs. Vida Lee Goodson, 82, of Rosiclare, died Wednesday, Jan. 8, 1997 in Elgin.
     Services will be held at 11 am. Saturday at First Apostolic Church. The Rev. Lowell Goins will officiate. Burial will be in the Fluorine Cemetery.
     Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home and after 10 a.m. at the church until service time.

Anthony Funaro
     Services for Anthony Funaro, 59, of Harrisburg, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Mary Catholic Church in Harrisburg. Fr. Jack Stallings will officiate and burial will be in Sunset Lawn Cemetery.
     Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Lambert Family Funeral Home in Harrisburg.

Linda Ann Ferguson
     Memorial services for Mrs. Linda Ann Ferguson, 53, wife of Charles M. Ferguson of 14 Cherry Tree Place, Harrisburg, will be held at St. Stephens Episcopal Church at 14 East O'Gara, Harrisburg at 2 p.m. Friday. Burial will be private at Sunset Lawn Cemetery.
     Visitation will be Thursday from 6 to 9 p.m. at Lambert Family Funeral Home in Harrisburg.
     Memorials may be made in the name of Linda to the St. Stephens Episcopal Church Building Fund and may be left at the funeral home.
