Donald C. Lyons, 56, died Sept. 12, 1997. He is survived by his mother, Mercetis of Alton; a son, Chris of Dallas, Tx.; and a daughter, Donna Lyons of Houston, Tx. Services were through Staten Funeral Home in Alton. Memorials may be given for masses.

Stella L. Lyons, 66, of Godfrey, died Aug. 30, 1999, in St. Luke's in Chesterfield, Mo. Her husband, Robert, survives. Also surviving are sons, Robert of Rochester, Mn., William of Heyworth, and Richard of Godfrey; a brother, Harold Ursch of Alton; and sisters, Florence Loy of Alton, and Rita Meyer of Godfrey. Services were through Staten Funeral Home in Alton. Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society and St. Mary's Catholic Church in Alton.
