Dorthay Mae Kusterman, 80, of Alton, died Nov. 13, 2000, in Alton Memorial Hospital. Her husband, Alvin, preceded her in death. Surviving are a son, Ronald of Alton; a daughter, Carole Kusterman of East Alton; a brother, Richard Krotz of Godfrey; and sisters, Hazel Ashaver of Edwardsville, and Freida Chambers of Godfrey. Services were in Elias-Smith Funeral Home in Bethalto. Memorials may be given to charities of choice.
