GEORGE CARR
George T. Carr, 86, of Lombard, formerly of Elmhurst, died Thursday, Nov. 4, at home.
Funeral services were held Monday, Nov. 8, at St. Alexander Church, Villa Park. Interment was at Fairview Memorial Cemetery, Northlake.
Mr. Carr was the father of Sharon (Clairon) Perkins, Greig T. (Susan), Kenneth C. (Cheryl), and Marvin J. (Eleanor); grandfather of 12; and great-grandfather of six. He was preceded in death by his wife, Celia C; brothers William, Alfred, James, and Albert; and sisters Clara Reine and Arine Latimer.
Mr. Carr was a retired driver for a bus company.
Memorials to Hospice of DuPage or St. Alexander Catholic Church, 300 S. Cornell, Villa Park, IL 60181 would be appreciated.
Arrangements were made by Steuerle Funeral Home, 350 S. Ardmore Ave., Villa Park.

HELEN CULVER
Helen M. Culver, nee Sieferman, 90, of Villa Park, died Monday, Nov. 8, at the Anchorage of Bensenville.
Funeral services will be held today, Nov. 10, with Mass at St. Alexander Catholic Church, Villa Park. Interment will be at St. Joseph Cemetery, Freeport, Ill.
Mrs. Carver was the mother of Guy (Flora) and Mary (James) Rohrich; grandmother of nine; sister of Robert Sieferman, Frances Laurence, and Mary Ellen Hedtke; and aunt of many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Guy; and daughter, Ramona Kasten.
Mrs. Culver was a homemaker.
Arrangements were made by Steuerle Funeral Home, 350 S. Ardmore Ave., Villa Park.

JUDITH GEHRS
Judith "Judy" Diane Gehrs, nee Hein, 57, of Oak Ridge, Tenn., formerly of Lombard and Sycamore, died Thursday, Nov. 4, in Tennessee.
Funeral services were held in Tennessee. Interment will be today, Nov. 10, at Chapel Hill Gardens West, Oakbrook Terrace.
Mrs. Gehrs was the wife of Dr. Carl William; mother of Dr. Bradley Carl Gehrs, Dr. Melinda Anne Gehrs, and Kellie Suzanne Gehrs; daughter of Arthur H. Hein; sister of Jack (Diane) Hein; daughter-in-law of Margaret Gehrs of Lombard; sister-in-law of Pauline "Polli" Gehrs; brother-in-law of Paul Howland; and aunt of many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Julie Marie; mother, Gertrude Hein; father-in-law, Carl J. Gehrs; and sister-in-law, Kimberly Joy Howland.
Mrs. Gehrs attended Concordia Teachers College, River Forest, and taught third and fourth grade at Timothy Lutheran School, Chicago. She was a resident of Tennessee for 27 years where she was a district representative in financial planning for the Aid Association for Lutherans and was active in the Faith Lutheran Church. She was involved with the Breast Cancer Network, the Clinch River Association of Life Underwriters, and the YWCA of Oak Ridge.
Memorials to the Susan G Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, 5005 LBJ Freeway, Suite 250, Dallas, TX 75244 or to the Vanderbilt University Medical Center for Breast Cancer Research, 1211 22nd Ave. South, Nashville, TN 37232 would be appreciated.

JAMES GREEN
James Leehey Green, 76, of Lombard, died Thursday, Nov. 4, at Good Samaritan Hospital, Downers Grove.
Funeral services were held Monday, Nov. 8, with prayers from Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St., Lombard, to Mass at Sacred Heart Church, Lombard, with Rev. Arno Dennerlein officiating. Entombment was at Assumption Mausoleum, Winfield.
Mr. Green was the husband of Eileen; father of Deborah (Joe Hagel) Green, John Gerard (Linda), and Timothy Michael Patrick; grandfather of four; brother-in-law of Theresa Hutchings, Ruth Javers, Rita (Jack) Kolb, and Frank Kopnick; and godfather of Karen Humecke and Susan Javers. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Bernadine; and brother, Marmett.
Mr. Green was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in the Signal Corp during World War II in the New Guinea and southern Phillipines campaigns. He was a member of the American Legion Post 391 of Lombard and the VFW 2801 of Villa Park. He was a long-time parishioner of Sacred Heart Church, where he helped start German Fest in 1966; and a member of the Holy Name Society. He was a member of Prairie Schooners Square Dance Club and the Moose Lodge, and was active in local politics.

TRUDI JACQUE
Trudi E. Jacque, 59, of Lombard, died Oct. 31 at Central DuPage Hospital, Winfield.
A memorial service was held Wednesday, Nov. 3, at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St., Lombard.
Mrs. Jacque was the mother of David (Mary) and Susan; grandmother of three; and sister of Brigitta. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter.
 
GEORGE KAHL AND GERTRUDE KAHL
George W. Kahl, 88, of Wheaton, formerly of Milwaukee, died Friday, Nov. 5, at home. 
Gertrude M. Kahl, nee Kaiser, 88, of Wheaton, died Monday, Nov. 8, at Lexington Health Care Center, Lombard. 
Visitation will be held today, Nov. 10, at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St., Lombard. Funeral services will be held Thursday, Nov. 11, at the Lombard Bible Church, Lombard, with Rev. Lloyd Morrison officiating. Chapel committal will be held Thursday, Nov. 11, at Valhalla Memorial Park, Milwaukee, Wis.
Mr. and Mrs. Kahl were the parents of George (Bobby) and Barbara (Kenneth) Paradowski; and grandparents of four. Mr. Kahl was the brother of Louis Mohr, Martha Baker, and Marion Harter. He was preceded in death by his brother, Ervin. Mrs. Kahl was the sister of Frank Kaiser and Paul (Margaret). She was preceded in death by her brother, Eric; and sister, Hildegarde Mueller. Mr. and Mrs. Kahl were uncle and aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Mr. and Mrs. Kahl were residents of Wheaton for 30 years. Mr. Kahl retired in 1975 as a draftsman and estimator for Chicago Bridge and Iron.

FRANK MANS
Frank Mans, 64, of Lombard, died Thursday, Nov. 4, at Good Samaritan Hospital, Downers Grove.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Nov. 6, with prayers from Knollcrest Funeral Home, 1500 S. Meyers Road, Lombard, to Mass at Christ the King Church, Lombard. Interment was private.
Mr. Mans was the husband of Jeannine; father of Frank F. (Suzanne), Deborah (Tim) Zarnowski, David, of Lombard, Donna (John) Staniec, and Jefferey (fiancee Lisa Stewe), of Lombard; grandfather of four; brother of Beatrice Hanrath; and son-in-law of Jane Mohr. He was preceded in death by his brothers-in-law, Raymond Hanrath and Alvin Fielder; and sister, Marie Fiedler.
Mr. Mans served in the U. S. Navy during the Korean Conflict and was an assistant manager for Eagle Foods.

SUSAN MLADUCKY
Susan T. Mladucky, nee Olnick, 50, of Villa Park, died Saturday, Nov. 6, at home.
Funeral services will be held today, Nov. 10, at Steuerle Funeral Home, 350 S. Ardmore, Villa Park. Interment is private.
Mrs. Mladucky was the mother of Carol and Michael; daughter of Lauraine Olnick; sister of Sharon (James) Harris; and Aunt of GinetteKazmier and Daniel Olnick. She was preceded in death by her father, John Olnick; and brother, Dennis Olnick.
Mrs. Mladucky was a salesperson for a mattress company. 
Memorials to the American Heart Association would be appreciated.

KATHARINE RAMSBOTTOM
Katharine Jane Linghorne Ramsbottom, nee Linghorne, 90, of Glen Ellyn, died Tuesday, Nov. 2, at DuPage Convalescent Center, Wheaton.
Funeral services were held Friday, Nov. 5, at Leonard Memorial Home, Ltd., 565 Duane St., Glen Ellyn, with Chaplain John Hildner officiating. Interment was at Forest Hill Cemetery, Glen Ellyn.
Mrs. Ramsbottom was the mother of Patricia Anne Ramsbottom Johnson, John, Kathleen McNair Ramsbottom Jaffray, of Lombard, and Donald William; grandmother of nine; and great-grandmother of eight. She was preceded in death by her husband, John M.
Mrs. Rathsbottom was born in Ontario, Canada, and after attending teachers college taught in New Liskard until her marriage in 1932. She then came to the U.S. and lived in the Chicago area for most of her married life.

PATRICIA ZYCH
Patricia A. Zych, nee Zakrzewski, 65, of Villa Park, died Thursday, Nov. 4, at Elmhurst Hospital, Elmhurst.
Funeral services were held Monday, Nov. 8, with prayers fro Steuerle Funeral Home, 350 S. Ardmore Ave., Villa Park, to Mass at St. Alexander Catholic Church, Villa Park. Interment was private.
Mrs. Zych was the sister of Ralph (Sandra) Zakrzewski, sister-in-law of Norbert (Sandra) and Gerald (Madonna); and aunt of many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; and brother-in-law, Leonard Zych.
