Kathleen C. Brown, nee Cordes, 61, of Crete, died Thursday at Vistas Hospice in Chicago Heights.

A funeral service will be held at 8 p.m. Sunday at Fred C. Hub Memorial Chapel, 1301 Otto Blvd., Chicago Heights.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Brown was born Nov. 20, 1939, in Chicago Heights. She worked in the housekeeping department at St. James Manor Nursing Home in Crete and was a member of St. Agnes Church in Chicago Heights.

Mrs. Brown is survived by a son, Robert Brown of Crete; a sister, Janice Ballard of Chicago Heights; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Ann V. Cimbala

Ann V. Cimbala, 84, of Chicago, died Thursday.

A funeral mass will be said at 10 a.m. Saturday at Nativity B.V.M. Church, 8530 131st St., Palos Park.

Burial will be at Resurrection Cemetery in Justice.

Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. today at Hann Funeral Home, 8230 Harlem Ave., Bridgeview.

Mrs. Cimbala was born May 30, 1917.

Mrs. Cimbala is survived by three daughters, Joan Ormins, Barbara Cristofaro and Lynne Yavaraski; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Alexander M. Harnack
Retired machinist

Alexander M. Harnack, 82, of Willow Springs, died Wednesday at Brian Place Nursing Home in Indian Head Park.

A funeral mass will be said at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. James at Sag Bridge Church, 10600 Archer Avenue, Lemont.

Burial will be at Resurrection Cemetery in Justice.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Damar Funeral Home, 7861 88th Ave., Justice.

Mr. Harnack was born Dec. 31, 1918. He was a retired machinist for Meaden Screw in Burr Ridge.

Mr. Harnack is survived by his wife, Edna; two sons, Michael Harnack of Kaneville, Ill., and Steven Harnack of Glen Ellyn; a sister, Josephine Terwiel of Willow Springs; and one grandchild.

Memorials may be made to the American Red Cross.

David J. Kelder

David J. Kelder, 32, of Bolingbrook, died Wednesday in Downers Grove.

A funeral service will be held at 8 p.m. Sunday at McCauley Funeral Chapel, 530 Boughton Road, Bolingbrook.

Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Mr. Kelder was born July 10, 1969, in Wickliffe, Ohio. He was an auto inspector with Inter-Mobile Transportation in Bolingbrook.

Mr. Kelder is survived by his wife, Alpha; his parents, Ronald and Jacqueline Kelder; a sister, Sarah Kelder; and a grandmother, Lillian Lowe.

Doreen C. Korzyniewski

Doreen C. Korzyniewski, nee Dziak, 54, of Chicago's Archer Heights community, died Thursday at Holy Cross Hospital.

A funeral mass will be said at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Bruno Church, 4751 S. Harding Ave., Chicago.

Burial will be at Resurrection Cemetery in Justice.

Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at Wolniak Funeral Home, 5700 S. Pulaski Road, Chicago.

Mrs. Korzyniewski was born March 30, 1947, in Chicago. She was secretary of St. Bruno Church.

Mrs. Korzyniewski was a Eucharistic minister at St. Bruno Church and was a member of the church's liturgy committee and family circle.

Mrs. Korzyniewski is survived by her husband, Joseph; a son, Philip Korzyniewski; a daughter, Stefanie Korzyniewski; her parents, Julian and Genevieve Dziak; a sister, Sharon Cisek; many brothers- and sisters-in-law; and many nieces and nephews.

Phillip D. McGovern

Phillip D. McGovern, 33, of Hickory Hills, died Tuesday at Christ Hospital in Oak Lawn.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. today at Lawn Funeral Home, 7909 State Road, Burbank.

Mr. McGovern was born June 19, 1968. He was an electrician and worked for Huen Electric in Broadview.

Mr. McGovern is survived by his fiancee, Maureen Rodak and her son, Joseph; his parents, Kenneth and Willene McGovern; three brothers, Michael McGovern, John McGovern and Nathan McGovern; three sisters, Diane Schwinn, Becky Carrasquillo and Eunice Mudryj; and many nieces and nephews.

Richard L. Pacholec

Richard L. Pacholec, 77, of Palos Park, died Monday at Palos Community Hospital in Palos Heights.

A funeral mass will be said at 10 a.m. Saturday at Our Lady of the Woods, 10731 131st St., Orland Park.

Burial will be at Resurrection Cemetery in Justice.

Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. today at Colonial Chapel, 15525 S. 73rd Ave., Orland Park.

Mr. Pacholec was born June 17, 1924, in Chicago. He was a banker at Continental Bank in Chicago for many years before he retired in 1986. He was a lifelong member of the American Legion. He served in the Army during World War II and the Korean War. Mr. Pacholec was a resident of Palos Park for the past 10 years.

Mr. Pacholec is survived by a sister, Elizabeth Senjanin; two nieces; and four great-nieces and great-nephews.

Bernice A. "Bunny" Degnan, 86, of Oak Lawn, died Thursday.

Burial will be at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Alsip.

Mrs. Degnan was born on June 6, 1914. She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Degnan is survived by four sons, Timothy F. Degnan, Richard F. Degnan, Patrick F. Degnan and Robert T. Degnan; 18 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Roche was born on March 10, 1927, in Chicago. She was a homemaker and an avid bridge player. Mrs. Roche played bridge with the St. Linus Bridge Group, the St. Bede the Venerable Bridge Group, the St. Catherine of Alexandria Bridge Group, the Mother McCauley Bridge Group, and many others.

Mrs. Roche is survived by two daughters, Carol Dinaso and Julie Tierney; two sons, Michael and David Roche; a sister, Geneva Baldwin; a brother, Robert Latta; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Raymond Simutis, 69, of Tinley Park, formerly of Park Forest and Chicago Heights, died Tuesday at Northwestern Hospital in Chicago.

A funeral mass will be said at 10 a.m. today at St. Julie Billiart Church, 7399 W. 159th St., Tinley Park.

Burial will be at St. Casimir Cemetery in Chicago.

Mr. Simutis was born on Aug. 13, 1931, in Chicago. He was a retired purchasing manager for ITT Barton Co. and an Air Force veteran.

Mr. Simutis is survived by his wife, Lynda; three sons, Gregory Simutis; Christopher Simutis, and Thomas Simutis; a sister, Ruth Kazlauskas; two brothers, Leonard Simutis, and John Simutis; and five grandchildren.

Mrs. Wilke was born on Dec. 30, 1918, in Tuscola, Ill. She was a homemaker and a member of the Crete United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Wilke is survived by a daughter, Elizabeth Wilke; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
