Private burial of cremains for Robert L.Cooper, 78, of Rockford, were arranged by Fred C. Olson Funeral Chapels, Ltd., Rockford. 
Born March 20, 1920, in Washburn, Ill., the son of Robert and Helen Foster Cooper, he died Saturday, April 4, 1998, at home following a long illness. 
He married Viola E. Dibble in Rockford on April 10, 1943.  He was employed by Sundstrand Corporation as a custodian for 10 years, retiring in 1983.  He was a member of Kepotah Gun Club in Shirland, Ill. 
and enjoyed the outdoors and bicycling. 
Survivors include his wife, Viola of Rockford; nephew, James Cooper of Mundelein; and sister-in-law, Reta Cooper of Arizona. 
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Frank.

Donajane Zimmerman Bishop

Born Dec.23, 1926, in Milwaukee, Wis., she passed away Friday, April 3, 1998, at Waukesha Memorial Hospital, Waukesha, Wis. 
A Libertyville and Mundelein resident for the past 35 years, Mrs. Bishop was a former employee of CareMark Pharmaceutical Corp.in Lincolnshire and had also worked as a receptionist at Condell Medical Center in Libertyville.  She attended St.John's Lutheran Church in Libertyville.  Among her special interests, she very much enjoyed being with her family, especially her grandchildren, as well as playing bingo. 
Surviving are her children, Sandra (Terry) Hueneman of Mundelein, Jay (Debbie) Bishop of Cary, Jim (Kim) Bishop of Grayslake, and Cindy (Kevin) Sinnett and Sherry Bishop, both of Mukwonago, Wis.; grandchildren, David, Becky, Josh, Joe, Jake and Samantha; brother, Silven (Bev) Zimmerman of Panama City, Fla.;and sisters, Antoinette (Art) Lilly and Marcella Gould, both of Panama City, and Myrna (James) Rossow of Glen Burnie, Md. 
She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Minnie Zimmerman; husband, Joseph Bishop, on March 26, 1986; brother, Clarence; and sister, Ethel.

She had been a resident of Elgin most of her life.She was employed as a registered nurse at the Elgin Mental Health Center and was a supervior before retiring.She was a member of the Illinois State Employees Association and Illinois Nurses Association.

Mrs. Erickson was a member of the Mount Prospect YMCA Senior's Group. 
She was the wife of the late Arthur R.; mother of Judy (Jerry) Oldenburg of Mundelein, Diane L. Fritz of Fox Lake, Richard Erickson of Arlington Heights and Ardith (Larry) Ouellet of Schaumburg; grandmother of nine; great-grandmother of eight; and sister of the late Earl Mattson and Jane Viglione.

He was an avid bowler with the Senior Citizens.  Mr. Haas was an iron worker by trade for more than 40 years, retiring in 1975. 
He leaves his wife, Virginia (nee Nelson), to whom he was united in marriage on June 8, 1986; children, Barbara Phillip of North Carolina, Carol (Dick) Smania of California, David (Rosemary) Hass of Wisconsin, Lois (Ken) Wahl of California, Ruth (Bill) Hibbard of California, Donagle Lloyd of Las Vegas, Nevada and Judy (Richard) Kessell of California; stepchildren, Gary and Roger Snyder and Chanette Smith; 19 grandchildren; and 12 greatgrandchildren.

Walter O. Haringe 
Funeral services for Walter O. Haringe, 70, of Ashton, Ill., formerly of Batavia, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, at Malone Funeral Home, 324 E. State St., Geneva. 
Born May 29, 1927, in Geneva, the son of Walter C. and Geraldine (Rodgers) Haringe, he died Sunday, April 5, 1998, at home.  Burial will be in River Hills Cemetery, at a later date. 
He was a veteran of World War II in the Navy.  He was an electrician by trade belonging to the IBEW Local #701 in Wheaton.   He also belonged to the St. Charles Moose Lodge #1368 and the American Legion Post #75 of Geneva. 
He was married to Nancy (LeKander), together raising two daughters, Linda (Rick) Sampson of Kentucky and Paula (Jim) Kohlert of Ashton and son, Terry of Ashton. 
They were the proud grandparents of Scott, (Robin) Anderson, Jimmy Kohlert, Kelly Kohlert, Stephanie Kohlert, Jesse Kohlert, Mikey Kohlert and Casey Kohlert; and great-grandchild, Megan Anderson. 
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Nancy, who passed away in 1995.

Mr.Oehler was a lifelong resident of Lake County.He had received his bachelor of arts degree from Northwestern University and had worked as a loan officer for many years at Grayslake National Bank.

She earned the rank of sergeant in the Marine Corps during World War II; was a member of the Blanche S. Osborne Women Marine Association; and was owner and manager of the Stegitz Insurance Agency.

Prayers for Luis Fernando Torres, 36, of Elgin, will be said at 9:40 a.m. Wednesday, at O'Connor and Homeier Funeral Home, 364 Division St., Elgin, going to St. Joseph Catholic Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Rev. Michael Morrissey will officiate. 
Born Sept.23, 1961, in Mexico, the son of Rafael and Carmen (Diaz) Torres, he died Saturday, April 4, 1998, at Provena St. Joseph Hospital.  Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery. 
A member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, he was the husband of Sylvia (Mora) Torres, whom he married Sept.12, 1992, at St. Joseph; son, Rafael Torres and daughter, Fernanda Torres both of Elgin; mother, Carmen Torres of Elgin; brothers, Rafael (Carolina) Torres Jr. of Mexico, Gorge (Josfina) Torres of Mexico, Arturo (Juana) Torres of Elgin, Mario (Marie-Eugenia) Torres of Elgin and Martin (Maria Refusio) Torres of Elgin; sisters, Maria Elena Torres of Elgin, Guadalupe (Consepcion) Baltazar of Elgin and Alta Gracia (Felix) Cobarrubias of Elgin; and sister-in-law, Audelia Torres of Elgin. 
He was preceded in death by his father, Rafael in 1994 and brother, Jesus in 1995. 
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today, at the funeral home.

Born May 15, 1915, in Medford, Wis., Mr. Vesneske died Sunday, April 5, 1998, at home.  Burial will be in St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine. 
He was the owner of Rand Saw Service and a member of Carpenters Union Local #839 and the Musicians Union Local #10-208. 
Survivors include his daughters, Barbara J. Eck of Monterey, Cal. and Geraldine L. Poe of Crystal Lake; his sons, James A. (Carolyn) Vesneske of Lake Villa, Ronald G. Vesneske of Palatine and Richard A. Vesneske of Fox River Grove; his grandchildren Edward Cox, Cheryl M. Cox-Mackie, Tonie Cox, Robin Eck, Scott Roof, Suzanne Roof, Michael Roof, Ryan Poe, James Vesneske Jr., Robert Vesneske and Connie Vesneske; four great-granchildren; his brother, John (Anna) Wisniewski of Medford, Wis.; and his sister Frieda (late Richard) Griswald of Holiday, Fla. 
He was preceded in death by his wife, Caroline R. Rickel and by 11 brothers and sisters.

Born Nov. 20, 1909, in Chicago, she died Friday, April 3, 1998, at Friendship Village in Schaumburg. 
Burial will bein Irving Park Cemetery, Chicago. 
A homemaker, she was a member of the Palatine Senior Citizens Center and also the Normennenes Singing Society for more than 50 years. 
Survivors include her son, Robert C. (Janet) Wold of Palatine; grandchildren, Karin (Richard) Koebernick of Palatine and Keith (Urana) Wold of Lake In The Hills; great-grandchildren, Bailey and Tyler Koebernick; and sister-in-law, Edith Hanssen of California. 
She was preceded in death byher husband, Henry I. Wold; and brother, Elmer Hanssen.
