   Lauree Warren Anderson, 61, died Friday, July 31, 1998.
   A native of Greene County, Mrs. Anderson was a daughter of Flora Battle and the late Luke Warren. She was a former member of Randolph Baptist Church and a member of Springfield Missionary Baptist Church, where she was president of the Courtesy Club and the Beautification Clubs and a member of the gospel chorus.
   Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Randolph Baptist Church with the Rev. C.M. Hawkins officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body will be placed in the church at 1 p.m.
   Survivors, in addition to her mother, include her husband, Eugene Anderson; three stepchildren, Ronnie Anderson, Kevin Anderson and Wanda Anderson, all of Evanston, Ill.; and nieces and nephews.
   The family is at the home of Flora Battle, Randolph Church Road.
   Visitation will be 7:30-9 p.m. today at Watts Funeral Home, Union Point.

Donna 'Faye' Campbell
Winder
   Donna "Faye" Campbell, 35, died Wednesday, Aug. 5, 1998.
   Mrs. Campbell was a daughter of Peggy Nix, Winder, and the late Lawrence Nix. She was a coordinator for Primerica Financial & Life Insurance Co. and a member of Emmanual Baptist Church.
   Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today at Smith Funeral Home with the Revs. Johnny Willis, J.W. Helton and John Talley officiating. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery.
   Survivors, in addition to her mother, include her husband, Jerry Campbell; two sisters, Brenda Ferguson, Winder, and Melissa Fulcher, Monroe; a brother, Mike Nix, Winder; and nieces and nephews.

Barbara Sue Greenway
Elberton
   Barbara Sue Hill Greenway, 47, of 2748 Rockbranch Road, Rockbranch Community, died Wednesday, Aug. 5, 1998.
   A native of Hart County, Mrs. Greenway was a daughter of Emma Sue Maxwell Hill, Hartwell, and the late Sidney Hill. She was a member of Rockbranch Baptist Church and an F&I manager at Claude Ray Ford.
   Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. today at Rockbranch Baptist Church with the Rev. Ed Sayer officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
   Survivors, in addition to her mother, include her husband, Glenn Greenway; a daughter, Mikky Greenway, Elberton; a son, Tony Greenway, Elberton; two brothers, Melvin Hill, Dewy Rose, and David Hill, Hartwell; and a granddaughter.
   Pallbearers will be Joe Brown, Charles Hill, Howard Greenway, Walton Howell, James Gulley and Ralph Maxwell.
   The family is at the residence.
   In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Rockbranch Baptist Church or a favorite charity.
   Berry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Kathryn R. Hamdy
Athens
   Kathryn Russel Hamdy, 68, of 200 Devonshire Drive died Wednesday, Aug. 5, 1998.
   A native of McComb, Ohio, Mrs. Hamdy was a daughter of the late Ethyl Mary Turner and William Thomas Russel, Ohio. She was a member of Athens Women's Club, University Garden Club, Jeannette Rankin Foundation and the St. James Methodist Church Handbell Choir and Circle of Four. She was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels.
   Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. James UMC. Burial will be in Oconee Hill Cemetery.
   Survivors include her husband, Dr. M.K. Hamdy; a daughter, Kathy A. Hamdy-Swink, Alpharetta; a son, David H. Hamdy, Athens; and a sister, Leona Peart, Swanson, Ohio.
   The family will receive friends as the residence today and 6:30-8:30 p.m. today at Bridges Funeral Home.

Josephine Hunter

   Josephine Garrett Hunter, 81, died Thursday, Aug. 6, 1998.
   A native of White County, Mrs. Hunter was a daughter of the late Harley and Mary Montgomery Garrett and was the widow of Henry Jackson Hunter. She was a homemaker and a member of Level Grove Baptist Church.
   Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Whitfield Funeral Home, Baldwin, with the Rev. Terry Rice officiating. Burial will be in Level Grove Cemetery.
   Survivors include two daughters, Pauline Chitwood, Mauldin, S.C., and Marie Purcell, Cornelia; four sons, James R. Hunter, Oakwood, and Bobby L. Hunter, David V. Hunter and Kenneth H. Hunter, all of Cornelia; a sister, Maggie Roberts, Cornelia; a brother, Roy Garrett, Winder; 16 grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren.
   The family is at the home of Marie Purcell, York Drive, Cornelia, and will receive friends 7-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

   Marie Ann Doiron Parker, 61, of 201 Mount Zion Road died Wednesday, Aug. 5, 1998.
   A native of Suffolk County, Mass., Mrs. Parker was a daughter of the late John Alexander and Anna Cross Doiron. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Diane Parker. She was a salesperson with Hancock Fabric Co. and of the Catholic faith.
   Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church with the Rev. Wayne Douglas officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
   Survivors include two daughters, Joan Elizabeth Frazier, Stockbridge, and Lynn Marie Stevens, Ila; four sons, David Scott Parker and James Allen Parker, both of Ila, and Donald C. Parker Jr. and John Raymond Parker Sr., both of Boston; a sister, Joan Bartlett, Ila; and 15 grandchildren.
   The family is at the home of David Parker, 299 Mount Zion Road, and will receive friends 7-9 p.m. today at Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce.

Fred Roberts

   Fred Roberts, 85, of 349 W. Ridgeway Road died Thursday, Aug. 6, 1998.
   A native of Homer, Mr. Roberts was a son of the late Joe and Ella Gibson Roberts. He was a citrus packer.
   Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. today at Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, with the Rev. Eugene Pritchett officiating. Burial will be in Grey Hill Cemetery, Commerce.
   Survivors include a sister, Clifford Mae Collins, South Carolina; and a brother, Stanley Roberts, Maysville.

Velma Seymour
Elberton
   Velma Tempy Denney Seymour, 94, died Thursday, Aug. 6, 1998.
   A native of Madison County, Mrs. Seymour was a daughter of the late George Henry and Viola Black Denney and was the widow of Clarence A. Seymour. She was a homemaker and a member of Rehoboth Baptist Church.
   Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Hicks Funeral Home with the Revs. Bill Vaughn and Gary Purvis officiating. Burial will be in Rehoboth Baptist Church Cemetery.
   Survivors include two daughters, Irene S. Hendrick, Easley, S.C., and Elizabeth S. Hulme, Lawrenceville; three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
   Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
   The family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. today at Hicks Funeral Home.

Alfred Smith

   Alfred Smith, 75, of 2091 Randolph Church Road died Thursday, Aug. 6, 1998.
   A native of Greene County, Mr. Smith was a son of the late Dave and Annie Woodfin Smith. He served in the Army during World War II and was honorably discharged. He was retired from Franklin Anerson, a 32 mason and a member of New Salem Baptist Church, where he served on the board of deacons and was chairman of emeritus board of trustees.
   Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at New Salem Baptist Church with the Rev. R.L. Reynold officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body will be placed in the church at 1:30 p.m.
   Survivors include his wife, Doris Smith; two daughters, Patricia Smith and Cynthia Kessee, both of Salisbury, Md.; two sisters, Christine Blakely and Susan Clark, Philadelphia; three brothers, David Lee Smith and Plee Smith, both of Philadelphia, and Ruben Smith, Fort Pierce, Fla.; six grandchildren, 10 grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
   The family is at the residence.
   Visitation will be 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Saturday at Watts Funeral Home.

Joseph Bell

   Joseph Donald Bell, 62, died Thursday, Aug. 6, 1998.
   Mr. Bell was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Lint Hendon, Athens, and the late Joseph C. Bell.
   A rosary is scheduled for 8 p.m. today at H.M. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, Spring Hill.
   Survivors, in addition to his mother and stepfather, include his wife, Joanne Cota Bell; a son, Joseph Donald "Jody" Bell Jr.; two sons and daughters-in-law, John and Pat Bell and Patrick and Polly Bell; a brother, C. David Bell, Athens; six grandchildren, a niece and a nephew.
   Funeral services will be announced later by the funeral home, 1020 Spring St. N.W., Atlanta, (404) 876-1020.
