Services for Wilma Ruth Black will be at 8 p.m. today in the chapel of Weaver Funeral Home, Knoxville, Tenn. Burial will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Lynch Bethel Church Cemetery, Knoxville, Tenn. Black, 70, died Friday, Feb. 9, 2001, at a local hospital. She was the daughter of the late George Washington Williams and the late Cleo Koonz.

Survivors include her husband, James R. Black of Macon; son Luther Eugene Shelton of Macon; and sister Wanda McCully of Bakersville, Calif.

Barbara Burnette 
 

WARNER ROBINS - Services for Barbara Burnette will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Westside Baptist Church. Burnette, 64, died Friday, Feb. 9, 2001. A native of LaGrange, she was the daughter of the late William and Anne Jones. She was a retired bookkeeper with Fairground Street Motors, Marietta, and a member of Westside Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughters Sharon Cunningham of Fort Valley, Joni Baldwin of Byron and Jamie Burnette of Bonaire; sister Joyce McElroy of Ellenwood; brothers William Earl Jones Jr. of College Park, Ralph Edward Jones of Florida, Charles Burr Jones of Scottsboro, Ala., and James Seborn Jones of Snellville; and three grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Tuesday at the church before and after services. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Houston County. Christopher-Smith Funeral Home has charge of arrangements. 
 

Lois W. Byram 
 

COCHRAN - Services for Lois W. Byram will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Empire Pentecostal Holiness Church, Dodge County, with burial in Bowers Cemetery, Dodge County. Byram, 80, died Saturday, Feb. 10, 2001. Born in Pulaski County, she was the daughter of the late Ellis and Eula P. Wynne. The widow of George A. Byram, she lived in Dodge County most of her life. Byram was retired from C&J Manufacturing, Eastman. She attended Empire Pentecostal Holiness Church, where she was a member of the Senior Adult Sunday School Class.

Survivors include her son Ellis Byram of Cochran; brothers Jesse Wynne of Dacula and Jerry Wynne of Cochran; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; and eight stepgreat-grandchildren.

ATLANTA - Services for P.J. Edalgo will be at 4 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Hughes & Wright Funeral Home, Cordele, with burial in Mars Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, Vienna. Edalgo, 28, died Saturday, Feb. 10, 2001, at his home. A native of Crisp County, he was employed with Carey Paul Ford as a salesman.

Survivors include his wife, Emily Serena of Atlanta; daughter Abigail Grace Edalgo of Atlanta; parents, Neal and Debbie Edalgo of Cordele; brothers Robbie Edalgo and Clint Fountain, both of Cordele; sisters Candace Huddelston of Americus, Dixie Edalgo of Rochelle and Julie Parham of Vienna; and grandparents John Robert Edalgo and Athlene White, both of Cordele. 
 

Emmer Fulford 
 

CARROLLTON - Services for Emmer Jane Fulford will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Brown Memorial Baptist Church, Wrightsville, with burial in Westview Cemetery. Fulford died Sunday, Feb. 11, 2001. Born in Toombs County, she was the daughter of the late Benton and Luella Kight Powell. The widow of J.C. Fulford, she was a member of Uvalda Baptist Church and was a homemaker.

Survivors include her sons Raymond Fulford, Donald Fulford and Harold Fulford, all of Carrollton; brothers Pearlie Benton Powell of Johnson Corners and B.L. Powell of Mount Vernon; sisters Vertice Meeks of Tarrytown and Mamie Lou Powell of Wrightsville; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

EAST DUBLIN - Services for Grady M. Gillis will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home, Warner Robins, with burial in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens, Warner Robins. Gillis, 77, died Saturday, Feb. 10, 2001, at his home. A Navy veteran, he was a retired warehouseman at Robins Air Force Base.

Survivors include his wife, Myrene Gillis of East Dublin; son David J. Gillis of Warner Robins; daughter Debra Gillis of East Dublin; and three grandchildren.

William Hamilton 
 

GRAY - Graveside services for William Thomas Hamilton will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Macon Memorial Park. Hamilton, 95, died Sunday, Feb. 11, 2001, at his home. Born in Columbus, he was the son of the late Perry Thomas Hamilton and the late Daisy Lee Brown Hamilton. He was a retired trainman with Southern Railroad. Hamilton was a member of AARP and the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen. He was a member of Shurlington Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife, Ruby E. Hamilton of Gray; children William F. Hamilton of Lake Sinclair, Margaret Ann Thornton of Gray, James Roy Hamilton of Macon and Ruby J. Barney of Baltimore, Md.; sister Sara Brown Love of Macon; 14 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great-grandchildren.

NASHVILLE - Services for Velma Harrell will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Lovein Funeral Home, with burial in Pleasant Cemetery. Harrell, 58, died Saturday, Feb. 10, 2001, at her home. Born in Berrien County, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd Harrell and the late Evelyn McGill Harrell. She was a homemaker and a steward for an oil rig. Harrell attended the Nashville Mission.

Survivors include her daughters Billie Jean Fender of Nashville, and Brenda Young of Ray City; sister Retha Pittman of Ray City; brother Kenny Harrell of Warner Robins; and two grandsons.

VIDALIA - Services for Abagaile Layne Jones will be at 4 p.m. today at Cedar Crossing Church of God, with burial in the church cemetery. Jones, 2 weeks old, died Friday, Feb. 9, 2001, at Meadows Regional Medical Center.

Survivors include her parents, Russell and Shannon Jones of Vidalia; grandparents Gene and Terri Caraway of Uvalda, and Brenda and W.H. Williamson, and Conway and Fran Jones, all of Vidalia; and great-grandparents Ethel and Lonnie Sturgis of Uvalda, Gladys Caraway of Swainsboro, and Frank and Janice Musgrove of Columbia, S.C.

DRY BRANCH - Services for Alice H. Jones will be at 3 p.m. today at Southside Congregational Church, with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Jones, 74, died Thursday, Feb. 8, 2001. 

Survivors include her daughters Jadie Cox of Dry Branch and Nora Cox of Byron; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Betty Joyner 
 

FORT VALLEY - Services for Betty Laverne Hancock Joyner will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Evangelistic House of Prayer, Crawford County, with burial in Oaklawn Cemetery. Joyner, 79, died Sunday, Feb. 11, 2001. Born in Crawford County, she was a retired employee of the Tom Thumb Glover Factory, Roberta, and a member of Evangelistic House of Prayers. She was the widow of Heyward Joyner.

Survivors include her children Billy Joyner, Richard Joyner and Patricia Walton, all of Crawford County, and Larry Joyner of LaFayette; brother Lee Hancock of Fort Valley; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Jesse Mack 
 

COCHRAN - Services for Jesse Mack will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Marthann Baptist Church, with burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Mack, 90, died Thursday, Feb., 8, 2001. Born in Bullard County, Ala., he was the son of the late Jim and Arena Mack. He moved to Cochran in the 1930s. Mack was a member of Marthann Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon. He was also a member of Jeremiah Lodge No. 182 and a retired employee of Southern Railroad Co.

Survivors include his sons Nathaniel West of Cochran and Terry Walker of McRae; sisters Mattie McMillian and Ada Spencer, both of Midway, Ala.; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Wootie H. Parsons 
 

MILLEDGEVILLE - Graveside services for Wootie Harper Parsons will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Baldwin Memorial Gardens. Parsons, 77, died Saturday, Feb. 10, 2001, in a local hospital. A native of Berrien County, she was the daughter of the late Tom G. Harper and the late Maude Childs Harper. She had lived in Baldwin County since 1972. Parsons was employed with Diana Shops since 1964 and was manager of the Diana Shop and the Dress for Less in Milledgeville from 1972 until her retirement in 1998. 

Survivors include her daughter Jean Lee of Milledgeville; brothers Walter Harper or Tallahassee, Fla., and Henry Harper of Jackson; three grandchildren; and four great-granddaughters.

WRIGHTSVILLE - Services for Jerry Wayne Poole were held Sunday at May and Smith Funeral Home chapel, Tennille, with burial in Wimberly Family Cemetery, near Twin City. Poole, 52, died Thursday, Feb. 8, 2001, at his home. A native of Johnson County, he was the son of the late Louie Wade Poole and the late Myrtle Louise Crosby Glover. He was a retired employee of ECCI Kaolin Co. Poole was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War.

Survivors include his wife, Sandra Wimberly Poole of Wrightsville; daughters Kristy Poole of Sandersville, Sandi Wilson of Tennille and Stephanie Poole of Machanicsville, Va.; stepdaughter Kelly Denise Rountree of Twin City; brothers Louie G. Poole of Tennille, Tommy J. Poole and Larry W. Poole, both of Dublin, and Ricky Glover of Sandersville; sisters Louise Smith of Wrightsville and Carolyn Jenkins of Dublin; and four grandchildren.

WARNER ROBINS - Services for Chase Preston Rinehart will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at McCullough Funeral Home, with burial in Parkway Memorial Gardens. Rinehart, 9 months old, died Saturday, Feb. 10, 2001, at The Medical Center of Central Georgia. He was the grandson of the late Linda S. Brown.

Survivors include his parents, Robert C. Rinehart and Nicole Rinehart of Warner Robins; sister Alexis Taylor Rinehart of Warner Robins; grandparents, Al DeLoreto, Diane DeLoreto and Robert D. Rinehart, all of Warner Robins; and great-grandparents, Curtis W. Rinehart of Perry, Lillian DeLoreto of Everett, Mass., Martha C. Ray of Macon and Margaret Rinehart of Perry.

WRIGHTSVILLE - Graveside services for Earnest Clifford Rogers will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Union Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Rogers, 90, died Sunday, Feb. 11, 2001, at his home after an extended illness. Born in Johnson County, he was the son of the late Gordon and Julia Ann Garnto Rogers. He was a farmer and a used car dealer. Rogers was the widower of Wilhelmina Hawkins Rogers.

Survivors include his sons Wayne Rogers of Harrison and Terry Rogers of Wrightsville; daughters Sue Fish of Lizella and Sharon Barry of Warner Robins; sisters Estel Heath of Dawson and Jean Jones of Savannah; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Blanche Sailor 
 

Services for Blanche McKissick Sailor will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Greater Bellevue Baptist Church, with burial in Woodlawn Memorial Park. Sailor died Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2001, at an Atlanta hospital. Born in Monroe County, she was the daughter of the late James and Lizzie McKissick. The widow of Nathan Sailor Jr., she was a member of Greater Bellevue Baptist Church. Sailor was a retired teacher with Cherokee Baptist Day Care Center.

Survivors include her children James Sailor of Gulfport, Miss., Vernon McKissick of Macon and Blanche Harden of Atlanta; 15 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Stanley, 81, died Sunday, Feb. 11, 2001, at her home. Born in Laurens County, she was the daughter of the late Morris W. White and the late Geneva White. She was a beautician for many years.

Survivors include her daughter Jean S. Bailey of Macon; sons Peewee Stanley of Chauncey, Mark Stanley of McRae and H.M. Stanley of Fort Walton Beach, Fla.; sister Angela Schneider of Chicago, Ill.; brother Berry White of Cedar Grove; 10 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

OCILLA - Services for Dorothy Mixon Tucci will be at 4 p.m. Tuesday at Paulk Funeral Home chapel, Ocilla, with burial in New Valley Grove Cemetery, Irwin County. Tucci, 80, died Saturday, Feb. 10, 2001, at Dorminy Medical Center, Fitzgerald. Born in Irwin County, she was the daughter of the late C.C. Mixon and the late Rebecca Roberts Mixon. She had lived in Irwin County most of her life. Tucci was a former employee of Robins Air Force Base, Warner Robins, and had attended Abraham Baldwin College, Tifton. She was a resident of Fitzgerald Nursing Home.

Survivors include her grandchildren Michele Walker of Tifton, Laura Caron of Chattanooga, Tenn., and O.W. "Chad" Lewis III of Ocilla; and two great-grandchildren.

McRAE - Services for Rosa Mae Yawn will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Lowe's Funeral Home chapel, with burial in Helena City Cemetery. Yawn, 87, died Saturday, Feb. 10, 2001, at Taylor-Telfair Regional Hospital. A native of Telfair County, she was the daughter of the late Eli Jackson Lowery and the late Mary Vaughn Lowery. Yawn was a member of Faith Baptist Church. The widow of Tom Yawn, she was a retired lunchroom worker with Central Middle School.,

Survivors include her children Barbara Purvis and Jimmy Yawn, both of Clarksville, Tenn., and Jeanette Yawn of Helena; brothers William Lowery of Milan, Russell Lowery of Norriston and Jerry Lowery of Macon; 10 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

GOINS, Wilbur P.: 76, of Macon, died Thursday, Feb. 8, 2001, at his residence. Services: 1 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Crest Lawn Funeral Home. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park. The Rev. Edwin Smith will officiate. Mr. Goins was born in Spalding County and had resided in Macon for most of his life. He was retired from Robins Air Force Base and was a veteran of the Air Force, serving in World War II and the Korean conflict. He was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church, and the American Legion posts #40 and #8. Survivors: Son James Preston Goins Sr. of Smyrna; sister Ann Jones of Griffin; grandson James Preston Goins Jr. of Dublin; three nieces; and three great-nephews and two great-nieces. Mr. Perdue was born in Bibb County, Ga., then moved to Houston County, where he graduated from Houston County High School. He attended Green Acres Baptist Church. PERDUE, Patricia Juanita: 61, of Warner Robins, died Thursday, Feb. 8, 2001, at her home. Services were at 3 p.m. Sunday, graveside, at Fort Valley City Cemetery. The Rev. Herbert Williams officiated. Mrs. Perdue was born in Peach County, Ga., and had lived in Warner Robins for the past 19 years. She was a homemaker and she attended the Church of God. Survivors: Her daughter Linda Ann Perdue of Macon; brother Joe Whittington of Gainesville, Fla.; sisters Jean Walton of Macon and Louise Larkin of Texas; and five grandchildren.
