Services for Eddie Mae Brooks will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Hutchings Funeral Home with burial in Woodlawn Memorial Park. Brooks, 73, died Tuesday, Nov. 23, 1999. She was a patient-care assistant, retired from the Medical Center of Central Georgia after 49 years. She was a member and president of Bongo Rocks S&S Club and widow of Willie Brooks. 

Survivors include her children, Edna Lester, Sylvia Johnson and James Cannon of Macon; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. 

Family will be at 262 Leaf Drive. 

Mary Butler 

WARNER ROBINS --- Services for Mary R. Butler will be at 7 tonight in Heritage Memorial Funeral Home with burial in Bedford, Ind. Butler, 95, died Sunday, Nov. 28, 1999. Born in Colquitt County, she was the daughter of the late William and Rebecca O'Neal. She was the widow of Robert Butler. 

Survivors include her children, Jean Moore of Bedford, Ellen O'Neal of Lynn Haven, Fla.; 12 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

HAWKINSVILLE --- Services for Nina S. Colton will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Jerry Howard Funeral Home with burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Cochran. Colton, 82, died Friday, Nov. 26, 1999. She was a member of Martha Ann Baptist Church and a homemaker. 

Survivors include her children, Elizabeth Cauldon, Pernita Jones, Janice Jones, Archie Jones, and Ruthie Kitchens, all of Hawkinsville, L.T. Colton of Cochran and Jimmy Colton of Dade City, Fla.; 15 grandchildren; and a grandchild.

Oleeta Cooke 

MILLEDGEVILLE --- Services for Oleeta Clemons Cooke will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Salem Baptist Church Cemetery. Cooke, 84, died Sunday, Nov. 28, 1999. 

Survivors include her children, Lowell Cooke of Beckley, W.Va., Barbara Patton of Milledgeville and Fern Resnik of Youngstown, Ohio; five grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

Claude Criswell 

MILLEDGEVILLE --- Services for Claude Judson Criswell will be at 4 p.m. Wednesday in Moores Funeral Home with burial in Baldwin Memorial Gardens. Criswell, 66, died Monday, Nov. 29, 1999. He was formerly employed at J.P. Stevens and was the owner and operator of Criswell Moving & Storage. 

Survivors include his wife, LaVonne Criswell; son, Claude Criswell III of Milledgeville; and brothers and sisters, Kelly Criswell, R.M. Criswell and Martha Day, all of Milledgeville, and Sally Berry of Pontiac, Mich.

Dorlan Dixon 

MULBERRY, Fla. --- Graveside services for Dorlan Frances Dixon will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Pulaski-Bleckley Memorial Gardens in Cochran. Services will also be held at 2 p.m. today in Mulberry First Baptist Church. Dixon, 73, died Sunday, Nov. 28, 1999. A native of Laurens County, she was the daughter of the late Tommy and Maggie Stripling. She was a homemaker and the widow of Bernice Dixon. She was a member of the Mulberry First Baptist Church. 

Survivors include her children, Glenda Jowers of Lakeland and Rick Dixon of Mulberry; her sisters, Inez Kilchriss of Cochran, Betty Hattaway of Macon, and Audrey Zurn of Blairsville, Fla.; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. 

The family will greet friends for one hour prior to the service at Mathis Funeral Home in Cochran. 

Hattie Fluker 

MERIDEN, Conn. --- Services for Hattie Pearl Fluker will be at 2 p.m. today in Sand Hill Baptist Church in Wrightsville with burial in the church cemetery. Fluker, 53, died Tuesday, Nov. 23, 1999. She was employed as an assembler at Walbro Corp. in Meriden. She was the daughter of the late Leo Rozier. She was noted for her cooking, especially desserts. 

Survivors include her children, Angela Sharp of Valdosta, Audrey Fluker, Ella Fluker, Austell Fluker, Jr., and Eddie Fluker all of Meriden, and Thomas Fluker of Boston, Md.; mother, Katie Turner Rozier of Wrightsville; sisters and brother, Mary Taylor and Wendell Rozier, both of Miami, Fla., Ruby Outlaw, Bernice Martin and Lilly Rozier, all of Wrightsville; and 13 grandchildren.

She worked at McDonald's and Bob's Majik Market and was a member of Little Rogers Methodist Church.

REYNOLDS --- Services for Smith Shorter Sr. will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Freerun Baptist Church with burial in Hicks Cemetery. Shorter, 89, died Wednesday, Nov. 24, 1999. He was retired from Robins Air Force Base.

Tommie Williams 

Services for Tommie Lee Williams will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Camphope AME Church with burial in the church cemetery. Williams, 71, died Friday, Nov. 26, 1999. He served in the Army during the Korean War and received several medals. He worked at Robins Air Force Base for 27 years before retiring.

Survivors include his wife, Ladwyana Williams; children, Sincere Zellner, LaDamia Williams, Yvonne Williams, Elijah Harris, Tommie Williams Jr. and Jerome Williams, all of Macon; sisters, Johnnie Smith, Thelma Knowlton and Annie Williams; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

CLAYTON --- Memorial Services for John Carter will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in First Baptist Church in Fitzgerald. Carter, 88, died Wednesday, Dec. 1, 1999. Formerly of Albany, he was the son of the late Robert L. and Florence Hargett Carter. The widower of Martha Bickley Carter, he was retired as owner/operator of the John Carter Photography Studio and Carter's Dry Cleaners. He was a member of First Baptist Church, where he was also a deacon. 

Survivors include his sister, Lois Webb of Clayton.

Bobby Clark, Sr. 

LUMBER CITY --- Services for Bobby H. Clark Sr. will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Murchison Funeral Home in Vidalia with burial in Shiloh United Methodist Church Cemetery in Wheeler County. Clark, 67, died Wednesday, Dec. 1, 1999. The son of the late Harvey B. and Willie Morris Clark, he was a retired truck driver and was a Methodist. 

Survivors include children, Patricia Howard and Bobby H. Clark Jr.; brothers, Harvey Joe Clark of Gainesville, Eugene Clark of Hollywood, Fla., and his twin, Billy C. Clark Sr. of Smyrna; and two grandsons.

Talmadge Cumbie Jr. 

Services for Talmadge H. "Bubba" Cumbie Jr. will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Cumbie died Wednesday, Dec. 1, 1999. He was a member of Napier Avenue Pentecostal Holiness Church.

Mae Dunn 

Services for Mae A. Dunn will be at 3 p.m. Saturday in Hart's Mortuary with interment at Ramah Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Gordon. Dunn died Wednesday Dec. 1, 1999. A native of Jones County, she was the daughter of the late Jack and Belle Amerson. She was retired after 48 years from Bibb Manufacturing. 

Survivors include her daughters, Jeanette Rowland of Jones County and Martha George of Ellersile; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

Johnnie Durden

Durden, 72, died Wednesday, Dec. 1, 1999. A native of Wheeler County, she was retired from Gertrude's Florist. She was a member of Landsburg Methodist Church. 

Survivors include her husband, Luther Durden; children, Kaye Cummings of Virginia Beach, Fla., and Carl Crawford of Jasper; brothers and sister, Clark Gillis, Donald Gillis and Charles Gillis, all of Glenwood, and Mabel Fuqua of Jackson; and two grandchildren.

Keifer Dykes 

COCHRAN --- Services for Keifer C. Dykes will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Lakeview Baptist Church with burial in Rozier Cemetery in Dodge County. Dykes, 95, died Thursday, Dec. 2, 1999. Born in Dodge County; he was the son of the late Jake and Sally Roland Dykes. The widower of Josie Warren Dykes and Mae Belle Harrison Dykes, he was a retired farmer and Robins Air Force Base civil service employee. He was a former deacon chairman and church treasurer at Lakeview Baptist Church. 

Survivors include children, Larson Dykes of Cochran, Russell Dykes of Bonaire and Helen Graham of Milledgeville; 16 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Clive Elliott 

ASHBURN --- Services for Clive Elliott will be at 2:30 p.m. today at Ashburn First United Methodist Church with burial to follow in Rose Hill Cemetery in Ashburn. Elliott, 77, died, Wednesday, Dec. 1, 1999. Born in and a lifelong resident of Turner County, he was the son of the late Henry and Allie Jones Elliott. The widow of Latrelle Sumner Elliott, he was the former owner and operator of Elliott's Jewelers. A Navy veteran of World War II, he was retired from the service. He was a member of Ffirst United Methodist Church. 

Survivors include children, Julian Elliott of Sycamore and Carolyn E. Bowen of Tifton; a sister, Cassie Haley of Sylvester; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. 

Visitation was Thursday at Perry Funeral Home. 

Moses Fullwood Jr. 

DUBLIN --- Services for Moses Fullwood Jr., will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at New Cannan Baptist Church in Chester with burial in the church cemetery. Fullwood, 34, died, Thursday, Nov. 25, 1999. He was an usher at New Cannan Baptist Church and an active participant at William Chapel Baptist Church. 

Survivors include parents, Moses Jr. and Mary Lee Fullwood; grandmother, Robbie Lee Fullwood of Chester and Theo Fullwood of Dublin; brother and sister, Donald Fullwood of Dublin, Maurice Fullwood and Stacy Fullwood, both of Miami, and Sandy Fullwood Johnson of New Orleans.

W. Colen Gillis 

Services for W. Colen Gillis will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the Sammons Funeral Home with burial in Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery. Gillis, 75, died Wednesday, Dec. 1, 1999. He was born in Wheeler County and was the son of the late Seward P. and Eva Estelle Padgett Gillis. A retiree, he was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church. 

Survivors include his wife, Lillie Mae "Billie" Myers Gillis; children, Johnny Myers of Dalton and Wynoka Moye of Macon; a brother, Howard Gillis of Albany; four grandsons, and one great-great-granddaughter.

Nathan Goodrich 

CHANDLER, Ariz. --- Services for Nathan A. Goodrich will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in First Lutheran Church in Glasgow, Mont., with interment in Highland Cemetery in Glasgow. Goodrich, 93, died Friday, Nov. 25, 1999. A native of Charleston, Ill., he was the son of the late Charles and Lottie Fisher Goodrich. The widower of Ruth Haversfield Goodrich, Edith Gajewski Goodrich and Lena Wangrud Goodrich, he was a retired electrician. He was a member of First Lutheran Church choir, the historical society, the Masonic Order and a senior citizens group. 

Survivors include his children, Ronald Goodrich of Macon, Dennis Goodrich of Highwood, Mont., and Marcia Lee of Tempe, Ariz.; step-children, Florence Briggs, Dorothy King, Carolyn Timmreck, Viva Werner, Larry Ordean and Ronald Wangrud; six grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. 

Frank Head 

SANDERSVILLE --- Services for Frank Larry Head will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Kaolin Church of God in Sandersville with burial in Zeta Cemetery in Tennille. Head, 52, died, Wednesday, Dec. 1, 1999. A native of Dalton, he was the son of the late Wayne and Mildred Marie Bramblett Head. An Army veteran of the Vietnam War, he was an auto service manager. He was a member of Kaolin Church of God and a former member of the Moose Lodge. 

Survivors include his wife, Janice D. Head; stepdaughter, Janet Mae Ellis of Homestead, Fla.; and two grandchildren.

Humphrey, 80, died Thursday, Dec. 2, 1999. She was born in Coffee County and was a homemaker. She was a member of Center United Methodist Church. 

Survivors include her husband, Robert L. "Bob" Humphrey; children, Lonette Mead and Travis McBride, both of Vidalia; brothers, Hatley Fussell of Jacksonville and Martin Fussell of Ocilla; six grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Mary Iluma 

HAWKINSVILLE -- Services for Mary Ann Iluma will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Macedonia Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Iluma, 41, died Saturday, Nov. 27, 1999. She was born in Pulaski County, and a member of the Church of God in Fort Wayne, Ind. 

Survivors include children, Henry L. Lawson and Julius Lawson of Fort Wayne, Ind., Demon Iluma of Hawkinsville and Donnelly Iluma of Selma, Ala.; parents, Willie Henry Sr. and Mary H. Lawson of Hawkinsville; brothers, Willie Henry Lawson Jr. of Hawkinsville, Aaron Lawson, Darryl Lawson and Wallace Lawson of Fort Wayne, Ind.; and three grandchildren.

Beatrice Little 

Services for Beatrice Little will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Bloomfield Gardens Baptist Church with burial in Macon Memorial Park. Little, 87, died Wednesday, Dec. 1, 1999. She was born in Telfair County. The widow of Albert B. Little, she was a quiller with Willingham Mill and Bibb Mill. She was a member of Bloomfield Gardens Baptist Church. 

Survivors include her daughters, Lorene Watson and Ann Spivey, both of Macon; sister, Annie Kate Roberson of Macon; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Elouise Martin 

Services for Elouise Gray Martin will be at 2 p.m. today in Dekle Funeral Home in Cordele with burial in Sunnyside Cemetery. Martin, 75, died Wednesday, Dec. 1, 1999. Born in Sumter County, she was the daughter of the late Roy C. and Jannie Mitchell. The widow of Andrew Martin, she was a retired pattern cutter. 

Survivors include a son, Robert A. Gray of Macon.

Jack Parker 

Services for Jack Willis Parker will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Faulk Chapel Church in Jeffersonville with burial in the church cemetery. Parker died Thursday, Nov. 25, 1999. Born in Twiggs County, he was the son of the late Melvin and Victoria Whitehead Parker. He was a retired employee of the city of Macon. 

Survivors include children, Betty Stephens, Shannon Harvey, Joseph Curtis, Freddie Hill and Jerry Harvey, all of Macon; and brothers, Freddie Taylor and Sammuel Taylor.

C.L. Perdue 

THOMASTON --- Services for the Rev. C.L. Perdue will be at noon Saturday at Rising Star Baptist Church in Thomaston with burial in the Southview Cemetery. Perdue, died Tuesday, Nov. 30, 1999. He was born in Lamar County to the late Jimmy and Rosa Lumdsey Perdue. A master transmission specialist and a member of Dumas Lodge No. 225, he was serving as pastor at Rising Star Baptist Church and Mount Gillard Baptist Church in Reynolds; 

Survivors include his wife, Dessie Mae Traylor Perdue; children, Deacon Clarence Perdue Jr. of Jonesboro, Frederick Perdue of Atlanta, Earlene Harris of Fort Leonard, Mo., Roasmary White of Macon, Valencia Hollis of Ellenwood and Regina Perdue of Decatur; a sister, Bessie Bass of Atlanta; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild;

Mabel Rawlins 

VALDOSTA --- Services for Mabel Rawlins will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Vaughn Funeral Home with burial in Telfair Memorial Gardens. Rawlins, died Thursday, Dec. 2, 1999. She was the daughter of the late James Augustus and Deborrah Wilson Coody. The widow of Oscar Rawlins, she was a homemaker and former seamstress at Roydon Wear. 

Survivors include daughter, B.J. Sellars of Valdosta; brother and sister, James A. Coody Jr. of West Palm Beach, Fla. and Eudora Fletcher of Columbus; and two grandchildren.

Donald Rawls 

FITZGERALD --- Services for Donald E. Rawls will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Hall's Funeral Home with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Rawls, 61, died Monday, Nov. 28, 1999. He grew up in Wilcox County and was a logger. 

Survivors include sons, Alton Lowe and Anthony Lee Sparrow, both of Fitzgerald; sisters and brothers, Carrie Rogers and Sallie B. Young, both of Chester, Pa., Willie Pearl Lattimore, Lonnie Rawls and Clara Williams, all of Miami, Horace Davis Patterson of New Jersey and Joseph Rawls of Fitzgerald. 

Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. 

Bruno Rogers Jr. 

MILAN --- Services for the Rev. Bruno Rogers Jr. will be at 3 p.m. today in Sand Grove Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Rogers, 65, died Wednesday, Dec. 1, 1999. Born in Dodge County, he was the son of the late Bruno Sr. and Nannie Mullis Rogers. He was an Army veteran. He was a retired employee of Georgia Pacific and was a Baptist minister. 

Survivors include his wife, Joyce Collins Rogers; children, Tonya R. Graham of Eastman, James Rogers of Rhine, and Albert Rogers of Milan; sisters, Catherine Thigpen of Waycross, Mildred Peterson of Tullahoma, Tenn., and Lillian Taylor of Eastman; and seven grandchildren.

Laverne Rowell 

AMERICUS --- Services for Laverne Palmer Rowell will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Big Bethel Baptist Church with burial in Eastview Cemetery. Rowell, 69, died Tuesday, Nov. 30, 1999. She was born in Sumter County to the late James and Inez Tennie Palmer. She was retired from Carter Cleaners and was a member of Big Bethel Baptist Church. 

Survivors include her husband, Hosea Rowell Sr.; children, Mamie Inez Christmas of Atlanta, Gussie Diann Snell of Fort Irving, Calif., Janice Lois Rowell of Americus, Demetrice Omozusi of Atlanta, and Hosea Rowell Jr. of Tacoma, Wash.; 13 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren

Rosa Shirah 

Services for Rosa Lee Fountain Shirah will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Shirah, 87, died Wednesday, Dec. 1, 1999. She was the daughter of the late Albert Vinson and Rosa Lee Fountain. The widow of Albert Vinson Shirah, she was retired from Payne Mill. 

Survivors include a daughter, Ann Lee Spires of Atlanta; 10 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

Lawrence Simmons Sr. 

CORDELE --- Services for Lawrence Robert "Larry" Simmons Sr. will be at 11 a.m. today in Hughes & Wright Funeral Home with burial in Andersonville National Cemetery. Simmons, 52, died Tuesday, Nov. 30, 1999. A Houston County native, he was the son of the late George and Alice Day Simmons. An Army veteran of the Vietnam War, receiving the Bronze Star, Purple Heart and the Air Medal, he was a rural mail carrier for the Unadilla Post Office. He was a former board member, coach and umpire for the Cordele Little League and was a member of the Church of Christ. 

Survivors include his wife, Cindy Brake Simmons; children, Rusty Simmons, Lawrence Simmons Jr. and Suzanne Simmons, all of Cordele; brothers and sisters, the Rev. John Simmons of Manchester, the Rev. George Simmons of Asheboro, N.C., Billy Simmons and Mary Peterman, both of Warner Robins, Tim Simmons of Perry; the Rev. Frank Simmons of Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada, Bobby Simmons of Bonaire, Cecil Simmons of Palm Harbor, Fla., Ann Cheatham of Jacksonville, Fla., and Lonnie Simmons of Spring Hill, Fla. 

Albert Smith 

DUBLIN --- Services for Albert Smith will be at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Calvary Hill Baptist Church in Irwinton with burial in Red Level Cemetery. Smith, 66, died Friday, Nov. 26, 1999. He was the son of the late Duckie Smith. 

Survivors include children, Genette Smith of Detroit, Mary Smith, Shirley Smith, Gwen Smith, Aaron Smith, Lonnie Smith, Ann Smith and Sheila Smith, all of Atlanta, and Dale Smith of Gordon; father, Grover Smith; brothers and sisters, Ennis Smith, Grover Smith Jr., Elois Brown and Sarah Stanley, all of Montrose, and Mary Smith, Ollie Lott, Mattie Watkins and Myrtle Foots, all of Miami; 39 grandchildrenl and 32 great-grandchildren.

Bernice Watkins 

HAZELHURST --- Services for Bernice Steen Watkins will be at 1 p.m. today in Piney Grove Baptist Church with burial in Kirkland Grove Cemetery. Watkins, 85, died Tuesday, Nov. 28, 1999. She was born in Treutlen County and was a lifelong resident of the Kirkland Still community. She was a homemaker and a member of Kirkland Baptist Church, where she served as secretary/treasurer and on the usher board. 

Survivors include children, Mary Blackham of Orlando, Fla., Minnie R. Watkins, Theodore Watkins and Johnny Watkins, all of Hazelhurst, Emory Watkins of Coolidge and Eddie M. Watkins of Atlanta; sisters and brother, Lillian McDougle of Gainesville, Fla., Ada Griffin, Adele Allen and Carrie Hill, all of Ovieda, Fla., and Ivory Wilson of San Jose, Calif.; and 18 grandchildren.
