Funeral services for Mrs. MISSOURI HAMBRICK, age 65 who died yesterday morning at the family home, 231 Holt Street, were held yesterday
afternoon at 4:00 pm. Revered Walter Singleton, Pastor of the Missionary Baptist Church conducted the service.   Mrs. Hambrick had been in declining health for some time and her death was not a surprise to her many friends.  Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons, L.H. and A.L. HAMBRICK and two sisters, Mrs. DAVE ANDERSON of Columbus and Mrs. G.W. ARD of Macon, GA.  (note) Records in Hart's Mortuary show she was the wife of R.H.HAMBRICK

Odius Bembry 

HAWKINSVILLE --- Services for Odius Bembry will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Mount Moriah Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Bembry, 80, died Saturday, Nov. 13, 1999. He was retired from Farmer Supply Co. He was a member of Mount Moriah Baptist Church. 

Survivors include his wife, Anna Bembry; children, Otis Bembry Jr. of Alma, Mary Kellom and Wanda Bembry of Warner Robins, Wade Bembry of Macon and James Bembry of Decatur; sister and brother, Julius Bembry and Mary Lawson of Unadilla; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Jack Burns 

ATLANTA --- Services for Jack J. Burns will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Sunrise Chapel Mausoleum of Arlington Memorial Park, Atlanta. Burns died Wednesday, Nov. 17, 1999. He was an electrical engineer who worked at G.E. for 30 years was president of the Industrial Engineers Society. He was a professional lighting engineer who conducted many seminars with Georgia Power customers. He was a member of Gate City Lodge No. 2 F&AM for more than 50 years and was a master Mason for 25 years. 

Survivors include his children, Jacqueline Scullion of Defiance, Ohio, Ona Smith and Ellen Hurst, both of Atlanta; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Caroline Clark 

PERRY --- Services for Caroline Braswell Clark will be at 3 p.m. Sunday in Watson-Hunt Funeral Home with burial in Henderson Cemetary. Clark, 88, died Wednesday, Nov. 17, 1999. A lifelong resident of Houston County, she was the daughter of the late Ephan and Edna Kezar Braswell. The widow of James Henry Clark, she was a retired civil service clerk. She was a member of Elko Baptist Church. 

Survivors include a sister, Shirley Tondee of Atlanta.

Margaret Carroll Clarkson 

SWAINSBORO --- Services for Margaret Evelyn Carroll Clarkson will be at 3 p.m. today in Peebles-Curry-Durden Mortuary with burial in Eastbrook Cemetery. Clarkson, 61, died Wednesday, Nov. 17, 1999. Born in York, S.C., she had lived in Swainsboro since 1955 and was a retired restaurant owner. She was a charter member of Emmanuel Harvest Church and was a member of Modoc Christian Center. 

Survivors include her husband, Milan E. Clarkson of Swainsboro; children, Harriett Nunn and Carol Ann Arrington, both of Swainsboro, and James S. Hicks of Cullman, Ala.; stepchildren, Karen M. Lee of Savannah, and Charles J. Clarkson of Swainsboro; brother, William H. Carroll of Hanceville, Ala.; 16 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. 

Dovie Ann Crawford 

RHINE --- Services for Dovie Ann Millwood Crawford will be at 3 p.m. today in Rhine Baptist Church with burial in Bay Springs Cemetery. Crawford, 62, died Tuesday, Nov. 16, 1999. Born in Fayette County, Ala., she was the daughter of the late Manley and Stella Taylor Millwood. A homemaker, she was a member of Rhine Baptist Church. 

Survivors include her children, Sybil Williamson and Beverly McIntyre, both of Rhine, Myra Crawford of Hawkinsville, James Crawford of Sparta, and Joe Crawford of Eastman; sister and brothers, Betty Williamson of Rhine, Taylor Millwood of Milan, and James Millwood of Yulee, Fla.; 12 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Henrietta Dellagall 

ORLANDO, Fla. --- Services for Henrietta Dellagall will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in Shorters Chapel AME Church, Eastman, with burial in Eastman City Cemetery. Dellagall died Sunday, Nov. 14, 1999. She was the daughter of the late Charlie and Minnie Bell. The widow of Willie King and James Dellagall, she was a maintenance supervisor. She was a member of Shorters Chapel AME Church. 

Survivors include her daughter, Eloise Sistrunk of Orlando; brothers, Clifton Bell of Atlantic City, N.J., and Jack Bell of Albany; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Horace Earven Sr. 

Services for Horace Lee Earven Sr. will be at 3 p.m. Saturday in Trinity CME Church with burial in Woodlawn Memorial Park. Earven, 75, died Saturday, Nov. 13, 1999. An Army veteran, he worked at Taylor Iron Works, Macon Building Supply and the Macon Housing Authority. He was vice president of the New Associated Men S&S Club and was a member of Lodge No. 710 P.B.S. He was a member and trustee of Trinity CME Church and was a member of the usher board. 

Survivors include his wife, Ada Earven; children, Marie Mills, Terry Lowder, Renee Davis, Mary Lowder, Horace Earven Jr., Willie Thompson and Johnny Paulo; mother and stepfather, LuSora and Willie Holmes; sister, the Rev. LuSora Brown; 40 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.

REYNOLDS --- Services for Katie L. Edwards will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in New Home Baptist Church with burial in Hicks Cemetery. Edwards, 89, died Saturday, Nov. 13, 1999. She was a member and mother of New Home Baptist Church. 

Survivors include her children, Mattie Bredell of Waldorf, Md., Ida Broyles and Eugene Edwards, both of Reynolds, Mary Edwards and Katrina Floyd of Fayetteville, James Parker of Butler; 27 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.

Jackie Gibson 

CARTERSVILLE --- Services for Jackie Gibson will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Rooks Funeral Home, Byron, with burial in Oaklawn Cemetary in Fort Valley. Gibson, 43, died Thursday, Nov. 18, 1999. Formerly from Warner Robins, she graduated from Northside High School and was a graduate of Floyd College in Rome. A registered nurse, she was a member of Woodstock Presbyterian Church. 

Survivors include her husband, Robert Dale Gibson; children, Christopher Dale Gibson, Robert Michael Gibson and Sarah Elizabeth Gibson, all of Cartersville; parents, James R. and Margaret Gibson of Woodstock; brothers and sister, James Fleming Hobbs of Ackworth, Stuart Russell Hobbs, Richard Morris Hobbs and Pamela Hobbs Vercher, all of Woodstock, and Norma Hobbs Young of Marietta; and three grandchildren.

OGLETHORPE --- Services for Henry Lee Hayes Sr. will be at 3 p.m. Saturday in Shady Grove Baptist Church in Ideal with burial in Oglethorpe City Cemetery. He was the son of the late L.B. Hayes Sr. He was employed at Rays Trucking Co. 

Survivors include his children, Henry Lee Hayes Jr. of Melbourne, Fla., LaVonia Hayes of Atlanta, and Carla Hayes of Albany; mother Willie Mae Hayes of Oglethorpe; brothers and sisters, Mary Washington, Minor Lewis Hayes Jr., Lenton Hayes Sr., L.B. Hayes Jr., and Lee Hayes, all of Oglethorpe, Mary Cephus of Decatur, Marie Hamilton of Marshalville, Monroe Hayes, Geraldine Ashman and Virginia Brown of Montezuma, Milton Hayes of Americus and Patricia Martin of Douglasville; his companion, Vivan Ball; and two grandchildren.

Alvan Herring Sr. 

Services for Alvan A. "Tut" Herring Sr. will be at 3 p.m. Saturday in Riverside Cemetery. Herring died Wednesday, Nov. 17, 1999. A Navy veteran of World War II, he was retired from Georgia Kraft. He was a member of Vineville North Baptist Church. 

Survivors include his son, Alvan Herring Jr. of Dunwoody; and two grandchildren.

Bernice Hodges 

DUBLIN --- Services for Bernice Dixon Hodges will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Northview Cemetery. Hodges, 92, died Wednesday, Nov. 17, 1999. Born in Laurens County, she was the widow of the late James Frank Hodges Sr. and was the daughter of the late Robert Ovid Dixon Sr. and the late Jennie Strickland Dixon. She was a member of First United Methodist Church. 

Survivors include a son, Dr. J. Frank Hodges Jr. of Dublin; grandchildren, John F. Hodges of Savannah, Krista H. Williams of Thomaston and Joseph J. Hodges of Milledgeville; and three great-grandchildren.

A World War II veteran, he was retired from Robins Air Force Base. He was a member and deacon of First Baptist Church. 

Survivors include his wife, Eunice M Jackson; children, Connie Johnson of Fayetteville, Vivian Fuller of Byron, Helen Jenkins of Gray and Edith Murray of Lizella; brothers and sister, William Jackson of Macon, Roy Jackson of Augusta and Ollie J. OZARK, Ala. --- Services for Jimmie Lee Jones will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Friendship Baptist Church, Sumter County, with burial in Eastview Cemetery. Jones, 57, died Tuesday, Nov. 16, 1999. He was retired from the Army.

Born in Hancock County, she was the daughter of the late Herod and Snowby Worthy. The widow of James Jones, she was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church.

She was a retired bookkeeper, having worked at Kinards Cleaners.

Born in Laurens, S.C., she lived in Dodge County most of her life. She was a licensed practical nurse and was a member of Rhine Baptist Church. She was the daughter of the late Junior and Ann Crawford. 

Survivors include her children, Lynn Roberson and April Roberson, both of Eastman; companion, Henry Stegall; sisters and brothers, Beverly McIntyre and Sybil Williamson, both of Rhine, Myra Crawford of Hawkinsville, James Crawford of Sparta, Joe Crawford of Eastman, and Christopher Crawford of Joanna, S.C.; and two grandchildren.

CENTERVILLE --- Graveside services for Pearlie Merritt will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Bethlehem Cemetery. Merritt, 91, died Nov. 17, 1999. He was a self-employed farmer. 

Survivors include his children, Peggy Powell, Robert Fitzgerald and Donald Fitzgerald, all of Macon, and J.A. Fitzgerald of Hawkinsville; 11 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

Elizabeth Morgan 

UNADILLA --- Services for Elizabeth Buff Morgan will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Unadilla United Methodist Church with burial in Walnut Cemetery. Morgan, 81, died Wednesday, Nov. 17, 1999. She was a 1938 graduate of Wesleyan College and was a graduate of Andrew College in Cuthbert. The widow of Wayne D. Morgan Sr., she was a member of Unadilla United Methodist Church and the Mary Murray Sunday School Class. 

Survivors include her children, Frances M. Hill of Valdosta, Elizabeth M. West of Unadilla, Wayne D. Morgan Jr. of Stone Mountain, and Dr. W. Raymond Morgan of Richmond, Va.; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Rev. Ernest Phinazee 

FORSYTH --- Services for the Rev. Ernest Phinazee will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Towaliga County Line Baptist Church, Jackson. Phinazee, 84, died Monday, Nov. 15, 1999. He was retired from the Sanitation Department for the city of Forsyth and was a former pastor of Straight Street Holiness Church and was a member of Towaliga County Line Baptist Church. 

Survivors include his wife, Frances Phinazee; daughter, Annie Buckner of West Palm Beach, Fla.; stepchildren, Evelyn Coriffen, Betty Williams, Ellen Cole, Willie Phinazee, Earnestine Calloway, Annette Andrews and Andrew Phinazee, all of Forsyth, Willie Talmadge of Atlanta, Ruby Halls of Chicago and Jeanette Davis of Miami; sister, Ruth Mae Turner of Forsyth; three grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

CENTERVILLE --- Services for Ralph E. Poff will be at 3 p.m. Saturday in McCullough Funeral Home, Warner Robins, with burial in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Poff, 65, died Thursday, Nov. 18, 1999. He was retired from the Air Force after service in the Korean and Vietnam wars. He was a former volunteer with the Centerville Fire Department. He attended Cornerstone Baptist Church. 

Survivors include his wife, Kathy Poff; children, Pam Hedrick of Mansfield, Ohio, Mark Poff, Michael Poff and Steve Poff, all of Centerville; sisters and brother, Pauline Garver of Mansfield, Charles Poff of Owings, Md., and Ruth Prosser of Delaware, Ohio; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

A lifelong resident of Vidalia, he was retired from Vidalia Motor Parts. He was an Army veteran of World War II.

Services for Ethel Smith Tanner will be at 11 a.m. today in Snow's Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono Avenue, with burial in Macon Memorial Park. Tanner, 97, died Tuesday, Nov. 16, 1999, at her residence. Born in Davisboro, she was the daughter of the late S.E. and Della Gross Smith. A graduate of Georgia State College for Women, she lived in Macon the past 60 years and was a retired teacher. The widow of Ira Thomas Tanner, she was a charter member of Hillcrest United Methodist Church. 

Survivors include her children, Charles S. Tanner of Lizella and Billy T. Tanner of Macon; sister, Sue Bolden of Macon; and a grandchild.

Josephine Weston 

AMERICUS --- Services for Josephine Crumbley Weston will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Scott Mater CME Church with burial in Eastview Cemetery. Weston, 74, died Monday, Nov. 15, 1999. The daughter of the late Augustus and Ida Kimball Crumbley, she was the widow of Samuel Weston. 

Survivors include her son, Kenneth Samuel Weston III of Americus; stepson, Samuel M. Weston of Washington, D.C.; brother, Joseph Crumbley of Miami; and three grandchildren.

John Williams 

Services for John Williams will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Woodlawn Memorial Park. Williams, 53, died Thursday, Nov. 18, 1999. He was the son of the late Nathaniel Williams Sr. 

Survivors include his children, Karen Parker of South Carolina, Cecil Hawkins, Michael Hawkins and Christina Clark of Macon; sisters, Lilla H. Williams of Milledgeville, Betty Clark and May Hawkins of Macon.

Dorothy Winslette 

EATONTON --- Services for Dorothy Blizzard Winslette will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Vining Ivy Hill Chapel with burial in Eatonton Memorial Park. Winslette, 81, died Thursday, Nov. 18, 1999. She was a homemaker and a member of Blessed Hope Baptist Church. 

Survivors include her children, Rosalind Mixon of Macon, Larry Winslette of Rockmart, and Ronnie Winslette and Jimmy Winslette, both of Eatonton; sister and brother, Bessie Hawkins and J.D. Blizzard; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. 

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Blessed Hope Baptist Church, Eatonton. 

Shirley Woodard 

WARNER ROBINS --- Services for Shirley Mae Woodard will be private. Woodard, 72, died Wednesday, Nov. 17, 1999. A native of Deerfield, Ill., she was a homemaker and the widow of Groover Marion Woodard. 

Survivors include her children, Gregg Woodard of LaHabra, Calif., Dennis Woodard of Big Bear, Calif., Jeff Woodard of Pico Rivera, Calif., Larry Woodard of Bakersfield, Calif., Steven Woodard of Rancho Cucamonga, Calif., Debby Dykes of San Luis Obispo, Calif., Kathee Menosky of Hope Mills, N.C., and Judi Albert of Warner Robins; sister and brothers, Leslie Rudolph of Lake Bluff, Ill., Lester Marshall of St. Petersburg, Fla., and John Marshall of Franklin, N.C.; and eight grandchildren.

Sabrina W. Wright 

DEXTER --- Services for Sabrina W. Wright will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Dexter United Methodist Church with burial in Dublin Memorial Gardens. Wright, 26, died Wednesday, Nov. 17, 1999. She was a secretary for the Laurens County Emergency Management Agency and the Laurens County Rural Fire Department. 

Survivors include her husband, Brad Wright; daughter, Gracie Sabrina Wright of Dexter; mother, Brenda Joyce Barron Williams of Chester; father and stepmother, Roy and Hope Williams of Montrose; brother, James Williams of Dublin; grandparents, Delmas and Mary Barron of Dexter, and Calcie and Jack Wester of Dexter. 

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight in Adams Funeral Home in Dublin. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Dexter United Methodist Church. 

Mary Wright 

DUBLIN --- Services for Mary Lou Wright will be at 3 p.m. Saturday in Buckeye Baptist Church. Wright, 85, died Sunday, Nov. 14, 1999. She was the daughter of the late Jim and Maggie Coley. She was the widow of Adolph Wright. 

Survivors include her children, Ossie Wright, Bobby Wright, Charles Wright, Celia Peacock, Lois Little and Jewell Willis, all of Dublin, Beauty Jordan, Maggie Drane and Ida Wells, all of Miami, J.D. Wright of Americus and Larry Wright of Memphis, Tenn.; sister, Jimmie Fowler of Dublin; 55 grandchildren; 84 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
