PALM CITY - Frances T. Baker, 88, of Palm City died Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2000, in Martin Memorial Medical Center, Stuart.
A native of Atlantic City, N.J., she lived in Palm City for 27 years. She moved here from Spring Lake, N.J.
Before retirement, she was a telephone operator.
She was a member of the New Jersey Bell Pioneers.
She was predeceased by her husband, Edward Baker.
Survivors include a son, John Baker of Wall, N.J.; a daughter, Joan Morris of Stuart; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are under the direction of All County Funeral Home, Stuart.

Gertrude Norton
PALM CITY - Gertrude Thyra Norton, 84, of Palm City died Thursday, Sept. 7, 2000, in Sandhill Cove, Palm City.
A native of Minneapolis, she lived in Palm City for five years. She moved here from Lighthouse Point, Fla.
She was a homemaker.
She was predeceased by her husband, Warren J. Norton.
Survivors include three daughters, Rae Ellen Ford and husband James of Stuart, Susan N. Rumpf of Northbrook, Ill., and Lynn A. Norton of Winlock, Wash.; eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 30, at First United Methodist Church, Stuart.

FORT PIERCE - Chuck Sepcsik, 56, of Fort Pierce died Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2000.
A native of Perth Amboy, N.J., he lived in Fort Pierce for three years. He moved here from Vero Beach.
He was an insulator with Gale Insulation Co. for four years.
He enjoyed fishing.
Survivors include his wife, Dolores M. Sepcsik of Fort Pierce; his mother, Katherine Sepcsik of Bradenton; a son, Chris Sepcsik of Bradenton; two daughters, Nicole Sepcsik of Vero Beach and Holly Sour of Manville, N.J.; and eight grandchildren.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. today at Haisley-Hobbs Funeral Home chapel, Fort Pierce.
A service will be at 4 p.m. today at the funeral home chapel. The Rev. Craig Bridgers will officiate.

Ardis S. Young
STUART - Ardis S. Young, 83, of Stuart died Monday, Sept. 18, 2000, in Martin Memorial Hospital South, Port Salerno.
A native of Bloomingdale, Mich., she lived in Stuart for 20 years. She moved here from Niles, Mich.
Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Ted A. Young of Stuart; two sons, James A. Young of Jones, Mich., and Dale Young of Niles; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. today at Forest Hills Funeral Home, Palm City.
Inurnment will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City.

Lucille M. "Lucie" Emerson
SEBASTIAN - Lucille M. "Lucie" Emerson, 62, of Sebastian died Friday, April 21, 2000, at her home.
A native of North Judson, Ind., she lived in Sebastian since 1987. She moved there from Indianapolis.
She was licensed practical nurse at the Eye Institute, Indianapolis, for four years.
She was a member of the Troy Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star, Detroit.
Her hobbies included bowling and reading.
She was predeceased by two daughters, Kathy Gordon and Melissa Emerson.
Survivors include her husband of 40 years, Lloyd A. "Bud" Emerson of Sebastian; two daughters, Sandy Emerson Kasten and husband Kirk of Sebastian and Michele "Shelly" Solender and husband Ian of Port St. Lucie; a son, Michael Gordon; her mother-in-law, Janice Emerson of Sebastian; and a granddaughter.
A service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 29, at Strunk Funeral Home, Sebastian. The Rev. Ralph E. Rivers will officiate.

Albin A. Amendola
PORT ST. LUCIE - Albin A. Amendola, 81, of Port St. Lucie died Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2000, at Hospice House of the Treasure Coast, Fort Pierce.
A native of Brooklyn, N.Y., he lived in Stuart and Port St. Lucie for 12 years. He moved here from Lafayette Hill, Pa.
Before retiring, he was a senior vice president for Atlantic Services, Philadelphia, for 34 years.
He served in Army Intelligence during World War II.
He was of the Catholic faith.
He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Council 6241, Stuart, Stuart-Jensen Elks Lodge 1870, Sons of Italy, Port St. Lucie and the Polish-American Club, Vero Beach.
Survivors include his wife of seven years, Helen Amendola of Port St. Lucie; two daughters, Aurelia Braun and husband Joseph of Naperville, Ill., and Maria Pelletier and husband Richard of Lake Ridge, Va.; and six grandchildren.
Burial will be in St. Matthew's Cemetery, Conshocken, Pa.
Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Hills Funeral Home, Palm City, and Lownes Funeral Home, Lafayette Hill.

PORT ST. LUCIE - May M. Bennett, 76, of Port St. Lucie died Friday, Sept. 22, 2000, in Martin Memorial Medical Center, Stuart.
A native of Newark, N.J., she lived in Port St. Lucie since 1984, coming from Livingston, N.J.
Survivors include a son, Greg Bennett of Claymont, Del.; a daughter, Diane Arifian of Morris, Conn.; a sister, Gertrude Root of Scotch Plains, N.J.; and six grandchildren.
Friends may call from 3 to 5 p.m. Monday, Sept. 25, at Aycock Funeral Home, Port St. Lucie.
A service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 26, at the Bennett residence, 2121 S.E. Alden St.
Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery, Jensen Beach.

Lorraine M. Schildt
FORT PIERCE - Lorraine M. Schildt, 72, of Fort Pierce died Friday, Sept. 22, 2000, at her home.
A native of Brooklyn, N.Y., she lived in Fort Pierce for 13 years, coming from Queens, N.Y.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Francis J. Brennan of Fort Pierce; four sons, Thomas Pravata of Staten Island, N.Y., Charles Pravata of Amityville, N.Y., and Ralph and Douglas Pravata of Jamaica, N.Y.; a daughter, Lorraine Snyder of Fort Pierce; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

PORT ST. LUCIE - Irving E. Bopp, 89, of Port St. Lucie died Tuesday, Aug. 22, 2000, at his home.
A native of Detroit, he lived in Port St. Lucie for 14 years. He moved here from Glen Lake, Mich.
He was vice president of Tweddle Lithograph Printing Co. , Detroit.
He was predeceased by his wife, Ruth, on March 22, 2000.
Survivors include a son, Richard Bopp and wife, Nancy, of Richmond, Va.; a daughter, Charlene Tardi and husband, Guido, of Port St. Lucie; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

BONITA SPRINGS - Theodora L. Brewi, 77, of Bonita Springs died Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2000, at her daughter's home in Fort Myers.
A native of Brooklyn, N.Y., she lived in Bonita Springs for nine months. She was a resident of Palm City for 10 years. She moved to Palm City from East Quogue, N.Y.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Palm City.
Survivors include two daughters, Jean Hoffman and husband, Craig, of Fort Myers, and Catherine Connor and husband, John, of Throgs Neck, N.Y.; twin sister, Eva Craft of Bonita Springs; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Forest Hills Funeral Home, Palm City. There will be a prayer service at 7 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
A Mass of Christian burial with be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 26, at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Palm City.

Louis DeVito
FORT PIERCE - Louis DeVito, 74, died Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2000, at his home.
A native of Brooklyn, N.Y., he lived in Fort Pierce since 1988. He moved here from New York City.
He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Before retirement, he was a manager with the U.S. Postal Service in New York City.
Survivors include his wife, Jeanne; a son, Thomas of Long Island, N.Y.; and a daughter, Debra of Boca Raton.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Aycock Funeral Home, Fort Pierce. A prayer service will be at 7 p.m.

Donald G. Flareau
PORT ST. LUCIE - Donald G. Flareau, 76, of Port St. Lucie, died Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2000.
A native of New York, he lived in Port St. Lucie for 15 years. He moved here from Deer Park, N.Y.
Before retirement, he was a steamfitter.
He was a member of the Purple Heart Association; Disabled American Veterans, Chapter 650, Port St. Lucie; and a charter member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
He was interested in the outdoors, woodworking and building model airplanes.
Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Geraldine; two sons, Bruce of St. Petersburg and Don of Deer Park; a daughter, Jeri Edgar of West Palm Beach; a sister, Jeanne Porey of St. Moriches, N.Y.; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday at Yates Funeral Home, Port St. Lucie. Military rites by the Military Order of Purple Heart, Chapter 650, will be at 4 p.m.
A service will be at 7 p.m. at the funeral home. The Rev. Theodore LeTure will officiate.

Stella Hunt
STUART - Stella Lantz Hunt, 97, of Stuart died Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2000, in Martin Memorial Medical Center.
A native of Kennecook, Nova Scotia, she lived in Stuart for 27 years. She moved here from Granville, Mass.
Before retirement, she was a registered nurse at Noble Hospital, Westfield, Mass.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Stuart.
She was predeceased by her husband, Leland W. Hunt, on Nov. 9, 1991.
Survivors include a daughter, Dorothy O'Donnell of Jupiter.
A service will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 28, at the Forest Hills Funeral Home, Palm City. The Rev. Richard Rohrer, senior pastor of First United Methodist Church of Stuart will officiate.
Burial will be in Forest Hill Memorial Park, Palm City.

BAREFOOT BAY, Fla. - Robert Dunbar "Bob" Hussey, 83, of Barefoot Bay died Tuesday, Aug. 22, 2000 in Sebastian River Medical Center, Roseland.
A native of Albion, Maine, he was a resident Barefoot Bay since 1989. He moved here from Stuart.
He was a teacher in Danforth, Maine, and Waterville, Maine.
He was an executive with the Norrwock Shoe Co. in Norridgewock, Maine, and Dexter Shoe Co. in Dexter, Maine.
He served in the Navy during World War II and in the Navy Reserves.
He was a member of the Barefoot Bay Golf Association. He was a member of Pi Gamma Mu and Lamda Chi Alpha.
He was a graduate of Colby College, Waterville, Maine.
Survivors include his wife, Do rita Hussey of Barefoot Bay; a son, Richard D. Hussey of Belfast, Maine; a sister, Thelma Pearl of Waterville; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
There will be no visitation.

A native of New York, She lived in Jensen Beach for 21 years. She moved here from Detroit.
Before retirement, she was a teacher in Detroit schools.
She was predeceased by her husband, Harold Mountain, in 1991.
Survivors include two sons, Peter Y. Mountain and wife, Maria, of Toronto, and Michael Mountain and wife, Mary Ann, of Plymouth, Mich.; and three grandchildren.
A service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 26, at Aycock Funeral Home, Jensen Beach. The Rev. Dale Kent will officiate.

John Nagy
PORT ST. LUCIE - John Nagy, 84, of Port St. Lucie died Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2000, in St. Lucie Medical Center, Port St. Lucie.
A native of Trenton, N.J., he lived in Port St. Lucie for 23 years. He moved here from Trenton.
Before retirement, he worked as a job setter for General Motors.
He was a member of the Hungarian Reform Church.
He served in the Army during World War II in Africa and Italy.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Thelma F. Magy of Port St. Lucie.
A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 28, 2000, at White City Cemetery, Fort Pierce.

Before retirement, he was a metallurgist with Saint Gobain in Cambridge, Mass., for 30 years.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Yolanda R. Pannetta of Stuart; three daughters, Carolyn M. Deardon and husband, Robert, of Plymouth, Janet Smith and husband, David, of Franklin, Mass., Jeanne Burns and husband, William, of The Woodlands, Texas; three brothers, William Panetta of Maynard, Mass., Robert Panetta of Jupiter, and Charles Panetta of Acton, Mass.; a sister, Carolyn Chase of Rye, N.H.; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
