PORT ST. LUCIE - Frank J. Cartisano, 86, of Port St. Lucie died Saturday, March 20, 1999, at Hospice of the Treasure Coast Residence, Fort Pierce.
A native of Italy, he lived in Port St. Lucie for 13 years. He moved here from Miramar, Fla.
Before retirement, he was a clerk with the U.S. Postal Service, Rockville Center, N.Y., for more than 15 years.
He served as a medic in the U.S. Army during World War II.
He was a member of American Legion Post 318, Port St. Lucie.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Carmela ''Cam'' Cartisano; two sons, Frank J. Cartisano and wife Linda of Hollywood, Fla., and Carl D. Cartisano and wife Monica; a daughter, Lorraine Hartnett and husband James of Greenlawn, N.Y.; and six grandchildren.
Friends may call from noon to 1 p.m. today at Forest Hills Funeral Home, Palm City.
A service will follow at 1 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City.

Joseph Clauso
FORT PIERCE - Joseph Clauso, 80, of Fort Pierce died Saturday, March 20, 1999, at his home.
A native of Philadelphia, he lived in Fort Pierce for 19 years. He moved here from Mantua, N.J.
He worked in wholesale produce sales.
He served in the Army during World War II.
He was of the Catholic faith.
He was predeceased by his wife, Kay Clauso, in 1995.
Survivors include two stepdaughters, Nancy Worthington of Fort Pierce and Carol Lund of Jensen Beach; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 23, at Yates Funeral Home, Fort Pierce.
A service will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. The Rev. David Thompson will officiate.

Robert Charles Cox
OCALA - Robert Charles Cox, 53, of Ocala, died Friday, March 19, 1999, in Shands Hospital, Gainesville.
A native of Flint, Mich., he lived in Ocala for 14 years. He moved there from Flint.
He was the owner and operator of Cox & Young Tractor Service and was vice president of Young's Paso Fino Ranch.
He was of the Protestant faith.
He was a member of Paso Fino Horse Association.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara B. Cox of Ocala; his mother, Ethel Viola Cox Reed of Michigan; two sons, Donald S. Young of Stuart and James D. Young of Ocala; three daughters, Kim Stoltenburg and Bobby Lynn Cox, both of Michigan, and Betty Ann Young Upper of Ocala; two sisters, Sandy Meek and Kaye Draper, both of Michigan; six brothers, Burton Jr., Jerry, Rick, Randy, Bill, and Tim Cox, all of Michigan; and eight grandchildren.

Frank Genevese
PALM HARBOR, Fla. - Frank Genevese, 87, of Palm Harbor died Thursday, March 18, 1999, in Stratford Court of Palm Harbor.
A native of Staten Island, N.Y., he moved to Palm Harbor from Stuart, where he moved to in 1976.
Before retirement, he was a nuclear physicist, and worked for the Pentagon and several private industries. He was a college professor in Connecticut. He retired from the Army as a lieutenant colonel.
He attended St. Luke Catholic Church, Palm Harbor.
Survivors include two sons, Stephen Genevese of Roswell, N.M., and Douglas Genevese of Dunedin, Fla.; three daughters, Laurene G. Sagnella of Dunedin, Carole Donagher of Farmington, Conn., and Gabrielle Reeves of Stuart; and seven grandchildren.

Constance MacIntyre
HOBE SOUND - Constance ''Connie'' MacIntyre, 56, of Hobe Sound died Sunday, March 21, 1999, in Martin Memorial Medical Center, Stuart.
A native of Brooklyn, N.Y., she lived in Hobe Sound for 25 years. She moved here from Fort Lauderdale.
She was a social worker at the state attorney's office, Stuart, for three months. She previously worked for the Council on Aging of Martin County.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Hobe Sound.
She was a member of the American Red Cross.
Survivors include her husband, Herbert MacIntyre of Hobe Sound; two sons, Keith and Christopher MacIntyre, both of Hobe Sound; and a brother, Nicholas Stabile of West Palm Beach.

FORT PIERCE - Elizabeth Claire Timm, 87, of Fort Pierce died Sunday, March 21, 1999, in a local hospital.
A native of Patterson, N.J., she lived in Fort Pierce for 28 years. She moved here from Patterson.
She was a registered nurse.
She was predeceased by a son, Herbert Timm.
Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Ronald G. Timm of Fort Pierce; a daughter, Roberta J. Garneau of Port St. Lucie; a brother, Frank Purdy of Prospect Park, N.J.; a sister, Florence Ehman of Tompson Lake, N.J.; and two grandchildren.
Services will be private.

Charlotte Youngman
STUART - Charlotte Dervin Youngman, 87, of Stuart died Saturday, March 20, 1999, at her home.
A native of Perry, Fla., she lived on the Treasure Coast for 16 years. She previously lived in Riviera Beach and Lake Worth.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Stuart.
Survivors include two sons, Walter Dervin of Atlanta and Richard Dervin and wife Vivian of Stuart; a daughter, Medeline Dervin of Stuart; two brothers, Amos Sadler of Georgia and Lawton Sadler of Florida; three sisters, Ivy Tillis, Polly Gunter and Matty Mae Weiss, all of Florida; and three grandchildren.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 23, at Forest Hills Funeral Home, Palm City. A vigil prayer service will be at 7 p.m.
A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 24, in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City.

JENSEN BEACH - William S. Hanson, 63, of Jensen Beach died Sunday, March 21, 1999, in Jackson Memorial Hospital, Miami.
A native of Calais, Maine, he lived in Jensen Beach for two years. He moved here from Crawford, Maine.
Before retirement, he owned the Yankee Whaler Restaurant and Hook "n' Finn Restaurant for 12 years in Cape Neddick and Lyman, both in Maine.
Survivors his mother, Minerva Hanson of Crawford; and a sister, Mary Ellen Nadeau of Crawford.
A memorial service will be at a later date at Aycock Funeral Home, Jensen Beach.

ST. SIMONS ISLAND, Ga. - Ruth Chaffee McDonald, 95, of St. Simons Island died Saturday, March 6, 1999.
A native of Dayton, Ohio, she was a former resident of Stuart.
She was a member of Christ Church, Frederica, Ga.
She was a member of the Fort Frederica chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
Survivors include a son, Jack E. McDonald of St. Simons Island; three grandchildren, Kathleen McDonald Kent of St. Simons Island, Jeffry S. McDonald of Dublin, Ohio, and Douglas C. McDonald of Brunswick, Maine; and four great-grandchildren.
Her ashes will be buried at a later date in Fernhill Memorial Gardens, Stuart.

Pauline L. Miracle
STUART - Pauline L. Miracle, 91, of Stuart died Sunday, March 14, 1999, at National Health Care.
A native of Stafford, Ohio, she lived in Stuart for three years. She moved here from Zanesville, Ohio.
She was a clerk for J.C. Penny Co., Zanesville, for 20 years. Survivors include a husband, Ellis B. Miracle of Stuart; a daughter, Virginia Moore and husband Nevil of Stuart; a sister, Irene Keevert of St. Clairsville, Ohio; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 25, at Redeemer Lutheran Church, Stuart.

He worked as director of food and beverage with Sailfish Point Country Club for two years.
Survivors include his parents, Joseph and Joan Piazza of Port St. Lucie; and two brothers, Joseph Piazza of Manhattan, N.Y., and James Piazza of Georgia.

PALM CITY - Rachel E. Wise, 64, of Palm City died Monday, March 22, 1999, in Martin Memorial Medical Center, Stuart.
A native of Canada, she lived in Palm City for four years. She moved here from Sommerville, Ky.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of Assembly of God Church, Palm City. She enjoyed traveling, fishing, and arts and crafts.
Survivors include her husband of 20 years, Gilbert Wise of Palm City; two sons, Robert Sheltra of Indiantown and Roger Sheltra of Moncks, S.C.; her mother, Alice Cadieux of St. Johnsbury, Vt.; two brothers, Armand Cadieux of East Lake, Ohio, and Roger Cadieux of St. Johnsbury; six sisters, Rita Carter of St. Louis, Jackie DeGree of Lyndonville, Vt., Nicole Hartley of Stanstead, Quebec, Canada, Anita Tetreault of Chardon, Ohio, Constance Walker of Grafton, Ohio, and Alice Wandless of Dover, Del.; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

He was vice president of Tweddle Lithograph Printing Co. , Detroit.
He was predeceased by his wife, Ruth, on March 22, 2000.
Survivors include a son, Richard Bopp and wife, Nancy, of Richmond, Va.; a daughter, Charlene Tardi and husband, Guido, of Port St. Lucie; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

A native of Brooklyn, N.Y., she lived in Bonita Springs for nine months. She was a resident of Palm City for 10 years. She moved to Palm City from East Quogue, N.Y.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Palm City.
Survivors include two daughters, Jean Hoffman and husband, Craig, of Fort Myers, and Catherine Connor and husband, John, of Throgs Neck, N.Y.; twin sister, Eva Craft of Bonita Springs; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

FORT PIERCE - Louis DeVito, 74, died Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2000, at his home.
A native of Brooklyn, N.Y., he lived in Fort Pierce since 1988. He moved here from New York City.
He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Before retirement, he was a manager with the U.S. Postal Service in New York City.
Survivors include his wife, Jeanne; a son, Thomas of Long Island, N.Y.; and a daughter, Debra of Boca Raton.

Donald G. Flareau
PORT ST. LUCIE - Donald G. Flareau, 76, of Port St. Lucie, died Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2000.
A native of New York, he lived in Port St. Lucie for 15 years. He moved here from Deer Park, N.Y.
Before retirement, he was a steamfitter.
He was a member of the Purple Heart Association; Disabled American Veterans, Chapter 650, Port St. Lucie; and a charter member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
He was interested in the outdoors, woodworking and building model airplanes.
Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Geraldine; two sons, Bruce of St. Petersburg and Don of Deer Park; a daughter, Jeri Edgar of West Palm Beach; a sister, Jeanne Porey of St. Moriches, N.Y.; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

STUART - Stella Lantz Hunt, 97, of Stuart died Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2000, in Martin Memorial Medical Center.
A native of Kennecook, Nova Scotia, she lived in Stuart for 27 years. She moved here from Granville, Mass.
Before retirement, she was a registered nurse at Noble Hospital, Westfield, Mass.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Stuart.
She was predeceased by her husband, Leland W. Hunt, on Nov. 9, 1991.
Survivors include a daughter, Dorothy O'Donnell of Jupiter.
A service will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 28, at the Forest Hills Funeral Home, Palm City. The Rev. Richard Rohrer, senior pastor of First United Methodist Church of Stuart will officiate.
Burial will be in Forest Hill Memorial Park, Palm City.

BAREFOOT BAY, Fla. - Robert Dunbar "Bob" Hussey, 83, of Barefoot Bay died Tuesday, Aug. 22, 2000 in Sebastian River Medical Center, Roseland.
A native of Albion, Maine, he was a resident Barefoot Bay since 1989. He moved here from Stuart.
He was a teacher in Danforth, Maine, and Waterville, Maine.
He was an executive with the Norrwock Shoe Co. in Norridgewock, Maine, and Dexter Shoe Co. in Dexter, Maine.
He served in the Navy during World War II and in the Navy Reserves.
He was a member of the Barefoot Bay Golf Association. He was a member of Pi Gamma Mu and Lamda Chi Alpha.
He was a graduate of Colby College, Waterville, Maine.
Survivors include his wife, Do rita Hussey of Barefoot Bay; a son, Richard D. Hussey of Belfast, Maine; a sister, Thelma Pearl of Waterville; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
There will be no visitation.

A native of New York, She lived in Jensen Beach for 21 years. She moved here from Detroit.
Before retirement, she was a teacher in Detroit schools.
She was predeceased by her husband, Harold Mountain, in 1991.
Survivors include two sons, Peter Y. Mountain and wife, Maria, of Toronto, and Michael Mountain and wife, Mary Ann, of Plymouth, Mich.; and three grandchildren.
A service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 26, at Aycock Funeral Home, Jensen Beach. The Rev. Dale Kent will officiate.

PORT ST. LUCIE - John Nagy, 84, of Port St. Lucie died Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2000, in St. Lucie Medical Center, Port St. Lucie.
A native of Trenton, N.J., he lived in Port St. Lucie for 23 years. He moved here from Trenton.
Before retirement, he worked as a job setter for General Motors.
He was a member of the Hungarian Reform Church.
He served in the Army during World War II in Africa and Italy.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Thelma F. Magy of Port St. Lucie.
A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 28, 2000, at White City Cemetery, Fort Pierce.

A native of Boston, he lived in Stuart for 16 years. He moved here from Plymouth, Mass.
Before retirement, he was a metallurgist with Saint Gobain in Cambridge, Mass., for 30 years.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Yolanda R. Pannetta of Stuart; three daughters, Carolyn M. Deardon and husband, Robert, of Plymouth, Janet Smith and husband, David, of Franklin, Mass., Jeanne Burns and husband, William, of The Woodlands, Texas; three brothers, William Panetta of Maynard, Mass., Robert Panetta of Jupiter, and Charles Panetta of Acton, Mass.; a sister, Carolyn Chase of Rye, N.H.; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
