Donald E. Daniels, 55, of Brookridge in Brooksville, died Thursday, at James A. Haley Veterans Hospital in Tampa.

Grace Iona Sutton, 96, of Brooksville, died Friday at her home.
Born in Fayette County, Pa., she moved to this area 16 years ago from Largo. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of the Holy Spirit, Brooksville.

Sarah Eckel, 86, of Spring Hill, died Saturday a Brooksville Regional Hospital.

She is survived by a son, Ralph of Totowa, N.J.; a daughter, Audrey Frazier of Scholoia, Pa.; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; three sons, Kevin of Northport, N.Y, Gary of Staten Island, N.Y. and Rory of Kingspark, N.Y.; a daughter, Patrice Manning of Spring Hill; a brother, Francis of Long Island, N.Y.; a sister, Florence Candia of Huntington, N.Y.; and four grandchildren. She was a member of the Brooksville Women's Club, the Hernando County Nurse's Association and the First United Methodist Church, Brooksville.

Frederick Jeremiah Shine Jr., 63, of Spring Hill, died Thursday at his home.
Born in West Haven, Conn., he moved to this area nine years ago from Durham, Conn. He was a retired mechanical engineer for the United States Veterans Administration Hospital, a U.S. Navy veteran, a member of the Knights of Columbus #11713, the Men's Club of St. Joan of Arc, the Knights of Columbus 4th Degree #1721, the American Legion Post #0186 and #10209 and member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife, Rose; two daughters, Elizabeth DeNoma of Spring Hill and Margaret Lamb of Jacksonville, N.C.; a brother, Harold of Orlando; a sister, Patricia Ramadon of West Haven, Conn.; and seven grandchildren.

William H. "Bill" Kathmann
William H. "Bill" Kathmann, 90, of Ridge Manor, died Tuesday, Feb. 16, at his home.
He was a native of Germany and moved to this area 14 years ago from Delhi, Delaware County, N.Y. He was formerly self-employed in the trucking business and as a dairy farmer, both in Delhi, a founding member and past president of Immanuel Lutheran Church of Delhi, and published his autobiography in 1993, "The Life and Adventures of a 1924 German Immigrant" by Theophilus Press.
Survivors include his wife, Gertrude; a daughter, Margo Burrows of Ridge Manor; a son, William, Jr. of Delhi; two sisters, Dora Benjamin and Erna Richtsfeld of Delhi; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Earl F. Flora, Jr., 68, of Spring Hill, died Saturday, Feb. 20, at Oak Hill Hospital.
He was born in Huntington, W.Va., and moved to this area 12 years ago from Largo. He retired from the Air Force as a technical sergeant and also worked for the Florida Division of Veterans Affairs.

He was born in Marburg, Germany, and moved to this area 10 years ago from Fairfax, Va. He was a retired financial analyst for the Department of Defense and a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church.

Robert Jennings, 73, of Spring Hill, died Sunday, Feb. 21, at his home.
He was born in New York City, N.Y., and moved to this area nine years ago from Springfield Garden, Queens, N.Y. He was a retired sanitation employee for the New York City Sanitation Dept., a World War II U.S. Navy veteran, a member of the African American Club of Spring Hill, and a member, trustee and served on the new Construction Committee of the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church.

He was a retired insurance executive, a U.S. Army veteran, a retired patrolman for the Madison Police Department, past president of the Junior Chamber of Commerce, past member of the Volunteer Fire Department, all in Madison, Conn., and a Congregational Protestant by faith.

She was born in Livingston Manor, N.Y., and moved to this area from Key Biscayne. She served as the head of the art department of the library of Syracuse University and was a member of Kappa Delta and Key Biscayne Community Church.
