He was born in Wahalla, S.C., and moved to this area 16 years ago from Virginia Beach, Va. He was a retired quality assurance specialist in the aircraft industry. He was a member and past master of the Norview Masonic Lodge, Norfolk, Va., the Scottish Rite, Norfolk, and the Khedive Shrine Temple, Norfolk. He was a Methodist by faith.

Wilbur 'Bill' Vega, 83, of Spring Hill, died Tuesday, August 8, at Oak Hill Hospital.
He was born in Brooklyn, N. Y., and moved to this area 13 years ago from New York. He was an owner/operator of Esco Packaging Company, and a World War II U.S. Army veteran who covered events at the Nuremberg war trials as a reporter for the U.S. Armed Forces newspaper, "Stars and Stripes". He was a member of the Hernando Beach VFW and an Episcopalian by faith.
Survivors include his wife, Jean; two sons, Paul of New York and Richard Fairchild of Florida; three daughters, Janet Escott of New York, Christine Jucket of Pennsylvania, and Elizabeth Vega-Neel of Pennsylvania; one brother, Oscar of New Jersey; and eight grandchildren.

Louis Mitchell McCall, 67, of Brooksville, died Wednesday, August 9, at his home. He was a lifelong resident of Brooksville. He was a heavy equipment operator for Brooksville Rock Industries, a cattle rancher, and a Korean War U.S. Navy veteran. He was a member of the Cattlemen's Association, Gulf Hammock Hunting Club, and the Hebron Baptist Church of Brooksville.

He was retired from Illinois Bell Telephone Company, and a World War II U.S. Navy and U.S. Army veteran, and retired from U.S. Air Force OSI. He was a retired sales manager for New York Telephone and was a retired World War II U.S. Marine Corps First Sergeant. He was a member of Aripeka Elks Lodge 2580, Spring Hill American Legion Post 186, VFW Post 10209, Chaplain and charter member of the Spring Hill Marine Corps League 708 and past commander of the U.S. Marine Corps League, Department of Florida. He attended St. Andrews Episcopal Church.

He was born in Detroit, Mich., and moved to this area three years ago. He was retired from the Boeing Corp., the owner and president of Grenier Enterprises, and an engineer and inventor. He was a church deacon for the Wakefield Congregational Church in Wakefield, N.H., member of the Ossipe Rotary Club and Lions Club in Wakefield, the Lowell Union Grange 178 in Wakefield, the New Hampshire State and National Grange.
