She was born in Richmond, Va., and moved to this area 30 years ago from Virginia. She was a homemaker, a member of the PTA, a school volunteer, and a Baptist by faith.
Survivors include her husband, William; a son, William Jr. of Spring Hill; two daughters, Carol Hardy of Indianapolis, Ind., and Tammy Kelly of Spring Hill; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Mary Uhlarik, 98, of Spring Hill, died Tuesday, May 30, at her home.
She was born in what is now Slovakia, and moved to this area 30 years ago from Berwyn, Ill. She was a homemaker and a Lutheran by faith.
Survivors include two sons, Wallace and Bobby, both of Spring Hill.

Maurice Henry Baker, 83, of Spring Hill, died Tuesday, May 30, at his home.
He was a native of Carbondale, Pa., and moved to this area 19 years ago. He was a retired interlocking metal weather stripper, a World War II U.S. Army veteran with a Purple Heart, a lifetime member of the Retired Officers Association and D.A.V. Chapter 67, Brooksville, and a Protestant by faith.
Survivors include his wife, Joan; a daughter, Maureen Joy of Euless, Texas; two brothers, William of Oregon and Donald of Green, N.Y.; and three sisters, Marian Griffiths of Margate, Helen Martha of Spring Hill, and Barbara McGuigan of Brick, N.J.

Mildred M. Clark, 89, of Brookridge, Brooksville, died Sunday, May 28, at her home.
She was born in Plainsboro, N.J., and moved to this area 17 years ago. She was a retired secretary with Walker-Gordon Dairy Company, Plainsboro, and was a Presbyterian by faith.
Survivors include two nephews, William Hickey of Pawling, N.Y., and Robert Wickersham of Muncie, Ind.; and two nieces, Britteen Gregory of Barnegat, N.J., and Barbara Billows of Hawley, Pa.

Sister Bridget Butler, 89, of Brooksville, died Monday, May 29, at her caregiver's home. 
She was born in Ballymena, Ireland, and moved to this area 25 years ago from Manhattan, N.Y. She was a nurse at Jewish Memorial Hospital, New York, and a Catholic by faith.
Survivors include five nephews; and two nieces.

Edgar Allan Struble, 69, of Brooksville, died Wednesday, May 31, at his home.
He was born in Union Town, Pa., and moved to this area three years ago from Union Town. He was a retired horse trainer and a Presbyterian by faith.
Survivors include a son, Alfred of Ligonier, Pa.; two daughters, Cholan and Mary Elizabeth, both of Union Town; a sister, Joyce Bowden of Village Mills, Texas; and six grandchildren.

He was born in Louisville, Ky., and moved to this area seven years ago from Glenview, Ill. He was a Catholic by faith.

Art U. Bernabei, 55 , of Spring Hill, died Tuesday, May 30, at Spring Hill Regional Hospital.
He was born in Eastchester, N.Y., and moved to this area two years ago from Horseheads, N.Y. He was a retired supervisor of production for Conrail, a Vietnam U.S. Marine Corps veteran, a member of Nature Coast Corvette Club, an Architectural Review Committee member for Plantation Estates, and a Catholic by faith.
Survivors include his wife, Lucille, two sons, Darryl J. Johnson of Panama City and Kirk D. Johnson of Boston, Mass.; five sisters, Edith Frisini and Angela Paesano, both of Hopewell Junction, N.Y., Elaine D'Andrea of Woodbridge, Conn., Lenna Stanton of St. Petersburg, and Lorraine Zennobi of Aurora, Ohio; and three grandchildren.

Cathy Ann Smart, 30, of Spring Hill, died Monday, May 29, at Oak Hill Hospital. 
She was born in Tampa and moved to this area six years ago from Las Vegas, Nev. She was an office manager with G.T. Automotive, Hudson, and was a Methodist by faith.
Survivors include her fiancé, Gary Alleccia of Spring Hill; maternal grandmother, June Connon of Long Beach, Calif., her parents, Thomas and Carolyn Smart of Zephyrhills; a brother, Miles of San Diego, Calif.; and a sister, Colleen Crandall of Monroe, N.C.

Lillian Murray, 97, of Spring Hill, died Friday, May 26, at Oak Hill Hospital.
She moved to this area 24 years ago from Brooklyn, N.Y. She was a Cosmetologist, a member of St. Francis Cabrini Catholic Church, and was affiliated with a Catholic organization volunteering at local nursing homes.
Survivors include two sons, Kenneth R. of Quebec, Canada, and Darold O. of Brooksville; two brothers, Donald Walker of the Cayman Islands and Winston Walker of Jamaica, West Indies; two sisters, Emzie Evans of Pembroke Pines and Pearl Cambridge of Spring Hill; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Glen L. Bush, 80, of Brooksville, died Thursday, June 1, at Eastbrooke Health Care Center.
He was a native of Great Bend, Pa., and moved to this area 38 years ago. He was retired from Lykes Pasco Packing, a World War II U.S. Air Force veteran, a member of American Legion Post 99, Brooksville, the DAV, and the CBI Veterans of America. He was a Baptist by faith.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce; two brothers, Wayne of Tampa and Ivan of Pennsylvania; a sister, Mazie Cilwell of Pennsylvania; a step-son, Lewis Prouty of Freemont, Calif.; and four grandchildren.

Thelma Mae Levasseur, 93, of Orange Lake, died Friday, June 2, at Seven Rivers Community Hospital.
She was born in Middletown, Ill., and moved to this area 13 years ago from Springfield, Ill. She was a retired factory worker.
Survivors include a son, Dean Davison of Orange Lake; a daughter, Pauline Stonesiefer of Crystal River; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. 

Thomas Lamar Norton
Thomas Lamar Norton, 86, of Spring Hill, died Friday, June 2, at Hospice House, Brooksville.
Born in Austell, Ga., he moved to this area 43 years ago from Jacksonville. He was a retired electrician and a member of the East Spring Hill Congregation of the Jehovah's Witnesses.
He is survived by his wife, Louise of California; two sons, Stanley and Thomas, both of Jacksonville; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

John "Jack" Morgan, 83, of Spring Hill, died Saturday, June 3, at Spring Hill Regional Hospital.
Born in Atlantic City, N.J., he moved to this area 16 years ago from there. He was a retired sales representative for Railway Express, Atlantic City and a member of the VFW Post #10209.
He is survived by his wife, Eileen; three sons, John of Manahawkin, N.J., James of Pleasantville, N.J. and Jeffrey of Sharon, Mass; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Thomas Patrick Hawe, Sr., 75, of Spring Hill, died Sunday, June 4, at Hospice House.
He was born in the Bronx, N.Y., and moved to this area 20 years ago from Staten Island, N.Y. He was a retired construction lather and was a member of Union Local 46, Staten Island. He was a Catholic by faith.
He is survived by his son, Thomas Patrick, Jr. of Spring Hill.

The Reverend Jack Mulqueen, 74, of Brooksville, died Saturday, June 3, at Oak Hill Hospital.
He was born in Limerick, Ireland, and moved to this area two years ago from Long Island, N.Y. He was a retired priest from the Diocese of Brooklyn, N.Y., and recently served at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, Spring Hill. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Queens, N.Y.
Survivors include several brothers, sisters, brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews.

Marjorie J. Bell, 84, of Brooksville, died Sunday, June 4, at Brooksville Regional Hospital.
She was born in Chicago, Ill., and moved to this area three years ago from Zephyrhills. She was a homemaker and a Presbyterian by faith.
Survivors include a son, Thomas E. of Brooksville; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Elmer I. Williams
Elmer I. Williams, 85, of Kenosha, Wis., formerly of High Point, Brooksville, died Sunday, June 4, at Aurora Hospital and Medical Center.
He was born in East Chicago, Ind., and lived in the Brooksville area for 20 years before returning to Kenosha.
He was a retired chemist for Nash/American Motors, and Arneson Foundry in the Lab. He was a member and past president of the Eagles Club and Senior Citizens Center, both of Kenosha. He taught square dancing for Allemande Club and was a caller for the Swingin' Swedes Square Dance Club.
Survivors include his daughter, Barbara Buttera of Kenosha; two grandchildren, RuthAnn Williams and Nicholas Buttera, and a great-granddaughter, Thea Hunter.

Claude O. Ricketts, 75, of Brooksville, died Thursday, June 1, at his home.
He was born in Ashville, N.C., and moved to this area 14 years ago from Louisville, Ky. He was a retired engineer with Joseph E. Seagrams & Sons, a World War II U.S. Navy veteran, and past president of the Kentucky Basketball Association. He was a Methodist by faith.
Survivors include his wife, Geneva; a son, William D. of Hudson; two daughters, Julie L. Worsham of Orlando and Donna R. Marin of Brooksville; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Laura Grace Carideo, 82, of Auburn, Wash., formerly of Spring Hill, died Monday, June 5, while on vacation in McKean, Pa. 
She was born in Erie, Pa., and she moved to this area 15 years ago, and then to Washington in 1995. She was a bookkeeper for General Telephone, and retired as a bookkeeper for Plestek Industries , Erie. She was a former member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, Spring Hill and a former member of the Elks Lodge, Brooksville.
Survivors include her daughter, Laural Lentz of Auburn; a sister, Florence Davis of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio; and two grandchildren.

Rubie Lathina Harrison, 88, of Spring Hill, died Monday, June 5, at Spring Hill Regional Hospital.
She was born in Anderson County, S.C., and moved to this area 55 years ago from Gray, Ga. She was a retired fruit packer and was a Baptist by faith.
Survivors include three sons, Charles Horton of Tullahoma, Tenn., Rayburn and Johnny Horton of Spring Hill; her daughter, Janice Elaine Lawrence of Spring Hill; one grandchild; and five great-grandchildren.

William "Luke" Moody, 55, of The Heather, Weeki Wachee, died Sunday, June 4, at Tampa General Hospital.
He was born in Waynesville, N.C., and moved to this area three years ago from Hampton, Va. He was a member of the Moose Lodge, Newport News, Va., and a Baptist by faith.
Survivors include his wife, Phyllis of Brooksville; his son, William of Hampton, his father, Charles of Waynesville, three brothers, Ray and Bruce, both of Hampton, and James of Waynesville; a sister, Jane of Waynesville; and two granddaughters.

Margaret Mary Willett, 75, of Spring Hill, died Monday, June 5, at Oak Hill Hospital.
She was a native of Duluth, Minn., and moved to this area 11 years ago from Mystic, Conn. She was a homemaker, a member of the Hernando Beach Yacht Club, American Association of University Women, and a Catholic by faith.

She was born in Brooksville and was a lifelong resident. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Shady Rest, the Lily Security Lodge No. 7, and Pallbearers Lodge No. 3.
Survivors include three nephews, Albert Johnson of Brooksville, Joe Lewis McGhee of Bartow, and Freddie McGhee of Boston, Mass.; six nieces, Edna Willis, Thelma McKeever, Pearlie Johnson, Freddie Lee Johnson, all of Brooksville, and Yvonne McGhee Jason of Miami.

He was born in Peru, Ind., and moved to this area 25 years ago from Boca Raton. He was a retired Production Control Manager, and a World War II U.S. Army veteran. He was a member of American Legion Post No. 277, and a Methodist by faith.
